In recent years, prey–predator models appearing in various fields of mathematical biology have been proposed and studied extensively due to their universal existence and importance. In this paper, we introduce a fractional-order prey–predator model and deals with the mathematical behaviors of the model. The dynamical behavior of the system is investigated from the point of view of local stability. We also carry out a detailed analysis on the stability of equilibrium. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the results.  相似文献

In this study, we investigate the global dynamics of non-autonomous and autonomous systems based on the Leslie–Gower type model using the Beddington–DeAngelis functional response (BDFR) with time-independent and time-dependent model parameters. Unpredictable disturbances are introduced in the forms of feedback control variables. BDFR explains the feeding rate of the predator as functions of both the predator and prey densities. The global stability of the unique positive equilibrium solution of the autonomous model is determined by defining an appropriate Lyapunov function. The condition obtained for the global stability of the interior equilibrium ensures that the global stability is free from control variables, which is also a significant issue in the ecological balance control procedure. The autonomous system exhibits complex dynamics via bifurcation scenarios, such as period doubling bifurcation. We prove the existence of a globally stable almost periodic solution of the associated non-autonomous model. The different coefficients of the system are taken as almost periodic functions by generalizing periodic assumptions. The permanence of the non-autonomous system is established by defining upper and lower averages of a function. Our results also explain how the important hypothesis in ecology known as the “intermediate disturbance hypothesis” applies in predator–prey interactions. We show that moderate feedback intensity can make both the ordinary differential equation system and partial differential equation system more robust. The results obtained provide new insights into the protection of populations, where moderate feedback intensity can promote the coexistence of species and adjusting the intensity of the feedback in appropriate regions can control the population biomass while maintaining the stability of the system. Finally, the results obtained from extensive numerical simulations support the analytical results as well as the usefulness of the present study in terms of ecological balance and bio-control problems in agro-ecosystems.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate Hopf bifurcation and center stability of a predator–prey biological economic model. By employing the local parameterization method, Hopf bifurcation theory and the formal series method, we obtain some testable results on these issues. The economic profit is chosen as a positive bifurcation parameter here. It shows that a phenomenon of Hopf bifurcation occurs as the economic profit increases beyond a certain threshold. Besides, we also find that the center of the biological economic model is always unstable. Finally, some numerical simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

The sigmoid functional response in the predator–prey model was posed in 1977. But its dynamics has not been completely characterized. This paper completes the classification of the global dynamics for the classical predator–prey model with the sigmoid functional response, whose denominator has two different zeros. The dynamical phenomena we obtain here include global stability, the existence of the heteroclinic and homoclinic loops, the consecutive canard explosions via relaxation oscillation, and the canard explosion to a homoclinic loop among others. As we know, the last one is a new dynamical phenomenon, which has never been reported previously. In addition, with the help of geometric singular perturbation theory, we solve the problem of connection between stable and unstable manifolds from different singularities, which has not been well settled in the published literature.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a bioeconomic differential algebraic predator–prey model with Holling type II functional response and nonlinear prey harvesting. As the nonlinear prey harvesting is introduced, the proposed model displays a complex dynamics in the predator–prey plane. Taking into account of the economic factor, our predator–prey system is established by bioeconomic differential algebraic equations. The effect of economic profit on the proposed model is analyzed by viewing it as a bifurcation parameter. By jointly using the normal form of differential algebraic models and the bifurcation theory, the stability and bifurcations (singularity induced bifurcation, Hopf bifurcation) are discussed. These results obtained here reveal richer dynamics of the bioeconomic differential algebraic predator–prey model with nonlinear prey harvesting, and suggest a guidance for harvesting in the practical word. Finally, numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the results.  相似文献

A predator–prey model of Beddington–DeAngelis type with maturation and gestation delays is formulated and analyzed. This two-delay model is similar to the stage-structured model by Liu and Beretta [S. Liu, E. Beretta, Stage-structured predator–prey Model with the Beddington–DeAngelis functional response, SIAM J. Appl. Math. 66 (2006) 1101–1129] but contains an extra gestation delay term. Criteria for permanence and for predator extinction as well as the global attractiveness of the interior equilibrium are derived. The combined effects of the two delays and the degree of predator interference on the dynamical behaviors of the coexistence equilibrium are also studied both analytically and numerically. It is shown that complicated behaviors including chaotic and multi-periodic solutions may occur with the introduction of gestation delay, and that the predator interference can stabilize the system by simplifying the dynamical behaviors and enlarging the stability parameter fields.  相似文献

We consider a predator–prey model with prey-taxis and Holling-type II functional responses in a spatially heterogeneous environment to analyze the effects of prey-taxis and the heterogeneity of an environment on predator invasion. To achieve our goal, we investigate the stability of semi-trivial solution in which the predator is absent. It is known that both the predator diffusion and the death rate contribute to the predator invasion in a heterogeneous habitat when there is no prey-taxis. In this paper, we show that predator invasion is affected by the prey-taxis and diffusions of the prey-taxis model for a certain range of predator death rates in a heterogeneous environment. Furthermore, in cases where predator invasion by predator diffusion does not occur in a particular death rate range of the predator, predator invasion can occur by prey-taxis in a spatially heterogeneous habitat. In addition, we compare this phenomenon to the corresponding predator–prey model with ratio-dependent functional responses. It is observed that none of the predator’s diffusion and prey-taxis affect the predator’s invasion, and that only the predator’s death rate contributes to predator invasion for the model with ratio-dependent functional responses.  相似文献

A diffusive predator–prey system with the network connection and harvesting policy is investigated in the present paper. The global existence and boundedness of the positive solutions to the parabolic equations are analyzed. Hereafter, a priori estimates and non-existence of the non-constant steady states are investigated for the corresponding elliptic equation. Next, we focus on the network connect model. The stability of the positive equilibrium, the Hopf bifurcation, and the Turing instability of networked system are explored. By using the multiple time scale (MTS), the direction of the Hopf bifurcation is determined. It is found that the networked system may admit a supercritical or subcritical Hopf bifurcation. For the Turing instability, the positive equilibrium will change its stability from an unstable state to a stable one with the change of the connecting probability. That is not the case in the model without network structure. Theoretical results also show that the model can create rich dynamical behaviors and numerical simulations well verify the validity of the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

This paper concerns the optimal harvesting of a stochastic delay predator–prey model. Sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence of an optimal control are established. The optimal harvesting effort and the maximum value of the cost function are obtained as well. Some numerical tests are given to illustrate the main results.  相似文献

In this paper, a general Kolmogorov type predator–prey model is considered. Together with a constant-yield predator harvesting, the state dependent feedback control strategies which take into account the impulsive harvesting on predators as well as the impulsive stocking on the prey are incorporated in the process of population interactions. We firstly study the existence of an order-1 homoclinic cycle for the system. It is shown that an order-1 positive periodic solution bifurcates from the order-1 homoclinic cycle through a homoclinic bifurcation as the impulsive predator harvesting rate crosses some critical value. The uniqueness and stability of the order-1 positive periodic solution are derived by applying the geometry theory of differential equations and the method of successor function. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to illustrate the main results. These results indicate that careful management of resources and harvesting policies is required in the applied conservation and renewable resource contexts.  相似文献

Optimal harvesting of a stochastic predator–prey model is considered in this paper. Sufficient and necessary criteria for the existence of optimal harvesting strategy are obtained. At the same time, the optimal harvest effort and the maximum of sustainable yield are given.  相似文献

This paper describes a prey–predator fishery model with stage structure for prey. The adult prey and predator populations are harvested in the proposed system. The dynamic behavior of the model system is discussed. It is observed that singularity induced bifurcation phenomenon is appeared when variation of the economic interest of harvesting is taken into account. We have incorporated state feedback controller to stabilize the model system in the case of positive economic interest. Fishing effort used to harvest the adult prey and predator populations is used as a control to develop a dynamic framework to investigate the optimal utilization of the resource, sustainability properties of the stock and the resource rent earned from the resource. Pontryagin’s maximum principle is used to characterize the optimal control. The optimal system is derived and then solved numerically using an iterative method with Runge–Kutta fourth-order scheme. Simulation results show that the optimal control scheme can achieve sustainable ecosystem.  相似文献

From the saddle-node-Hopf bifurcation point of view, this paper considers a modified Leslie–Gower predator-prey model with time delay and the Michaelis–Menten type prey harvesting. Firstly, we discuss the stability of the equilibria, obtain the critical conditions for the saddle-node-Hopf bifurcation, and give the completion bifurcation set by calculating the universal unfoldings near the saddle-node-Hopf bifurcation point by using the normal form theory and center manifold theorem. Then we derive the parameter conditions for the existence of monostable coexistence equilibrium and the parameter regions in which both the prey-extinction and the coexistence equilibrium (or coexistence periodic or quasi-periodic solutions) are simultaneously stabilized. We also investigate the heteroclinic bifurcation, and describe the phenomenon that the periodic behavior disappears as through the heteroclinic bifurcation. Finally, some numerical simulations are performed to support our analytic results.  相似文献

In this paper we analyze a delay-induced predator–prey–parasite model with prey harvesting, where the predator–prey interaction is represented by Leslie–Gower type model with type II functional response. Infection is assumed to spread horizontally from one infected prey to another susceptible prey following mass action law. Spreading of disease is not instantaneous but mediated by a time lag to take into account the time required for incubation process. Both the susceptible and infected preys are subjected to linear harvesting. The analysis is accomplished in two phases. First we analyze the delay-induced predator–prey–parasite system in absence of harvesting and proved the local & global dynamics of different (six) equilibrium points. It is proved that the delay has no influence on the stability of different equilibrium points except the interior one. Delay may cause instability in an otherwise stable interior equilibrium point of the system and larger delay may even produce chaos if the infection rate is also high. In the second phase, we explored the dynamics of the delay-induced harvested system. It is shown that harvesting of prey population can suppress the abrupt fluctuations in the population densities and can stabilize the system when it exceeds some threshold value.  相似文献

The ratio-dependent predator–prey model exhibits rich dynamics due to the singularity of the origin. Harvesting in a ratio-dependent predator–prey model is relatively an important research project from both ecological and mathematical points of view. In this paper, we study the temporal, spatial and spatiotemporal dynamics of a ratio-dependent predator–prey diffusive model where the predator population harvest at catch-per-unit-effort hypothesis. For the spatially homogeneous model, we derive conditions for determining the direction of Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solution by the center manifold and the normal form theory. For the reaction–diffusion model, firstly it is shown that Turing (diffusion-driven) instability occurs, which induces spatial inhomogeneous patterns. Then it is demonstrated that the model exhibit Hopf bifurcation which produces temporal inhomogeneous patterns. Finally, the existence and non-existence of positive non-constant steady-state solutions are established. Moreover, numerical simulations are performed to visualize the complex dynamic behavior.  相似文献

In this paper, complex dynamics of a diffusive predator–prey model is investigated, where the prey is subject to strong Allee effect and threshold harvesting. The existence and stability of nonnegative constant steady state solutions are discussed. The existence and nonexistence of nonconstant positive steady state solutions are analyzed to identify the ranges of parameters of pattern formation. Spatially homogeneous and nonhomogeneous Hopf bifurcation and discontinuous Hopf bifurcation are proved. These results show that the introduction of strong Allee effect and threshold harvesting increases the system spatiotemporal complexity. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to validate the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, by using Mawhin’s continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, we study an impulsive non-autonomous Lotka–Volterra predator–prey system with harvesting terms and obtain some sufficient conditions for the existence of multiple positive almost periodic solutions for the system under consideration. Our results of this paper are completely new and our method used in this paper can be used to study the existence of multiple positive almost periodic solutions to other types of population systems.  相似文献
