Vibration and dynamic chaos should be controlled in either structures or machines. An active vibration absorber for suppressing the vibration of the non-linear plant when subjected to external and parametric excitations is studied in the presence of one-to-two and one-to-three internal resonance. The main attention is focused on the study of the active control and stability of two systems, which can be used to reduce vibrations due to rotor blade flapping motion. The method of multiple scale perturbation technique is applied to determine four first-order non-linear ordinary differential equations that govern the modulation of the amplitudes and phases in the presence of internal resonance of the two systems with quadratic and cubic order of control. These equations are used to determine the steady state solutions and their stability. The stability study of non-linear periodic solution for two cases (1:2 and 1:3 internal resonance) and the stability of the obtained numerical solution are investigated using frequency, force-response curves and phase-plane method. Also, effects of some parameters on the steady state solution of the vibrating system are investigated and reported in this paper. Variation of some parameters leads to the bending of the frequency, force-response curves and hence to the jump phenomenon occurrence. The reported results are compared to the available published work.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper a nonlinear string-mass structure of the vibration absorber is analyzed. This structure is convenient to be installed in vibration damping systems of high buildings for their protection in the case of earthquake. The considered string-mass structure contains a translator movable mass connected with two strings. Due to nonlinear geometric properties of the system the motion of the mass is described with a strong nonlinear second order differential equation. In the paper the approximate procedure for solving of the nonlinear equation of motion is developed. Based on the solution the influence of the string preloading force, slider mass and friction force on the vibration property of the string-mass system is investigated. It is concluded that variation of the preloading string force may be applied as a control parameter for vibration absorption and as the regulator of vibration decay time.  相似文献

A new algorithm is proposed which, under mild assumptions, generates a sequence{x i } that starting at any point inR n will converge to a setX defined by a mixed system of equations and inequalities. Any iteration of the algorithm requires the solution of a linear programming problem with relatively few constraints. By only assuming that the functions involved are continuously differentiable a superlinear rate of convergence is achieved. No convexity whatsoever is required by the algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper we establish the general solution of the functional equation 6f(x+y)−6f(xy)+4f(3y)=3f(x+2y)−3f(x−2y)+9f(2y) and investigate the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of this equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the general solution and the Hyers–Ulam stability of the following mixed functional equation f(2x + y) + f(2x- y) = 2f(2x) + 2f(x + y) + 2f(x- y)- 4f(x)- f(y)- f(-y)deriving from additive, quadratic and cubic mappings on Banach spaces.  相似文献

This paper investigates the pull-in instability and free vibration of functionally graded poly-SiGe micro-beams under combined electrostatic force, intermolecular force and axial residual stress, with an emphasis on the effects of ground electrode shape, position-dependent material composition, and geometrically nonlinear deformation of the micro-beam. The differential quadrature (DQ) method is employed to solve the nonlinear differential governing equations to obtain the pull-in voltage and vibration frequencies of the clamped poly-SiGe micro-beams. The present analysis is validated through direct comparisons with published experimental results and excellent agreement has been achieved. A parametric study is conducted to investigate the effects of material composition, ground electrode shape, axial residual stress and geometrical nonlinearity on the pull-in voltage and frequency characteristics.  相似文献
