In this paper, our aim is to show some mean value inequalities for the Wright function, such as Turán-type inequalities, Lazarevi?-type inequalities, Wilker-type inequalities and Redheffer-type inequalities. Moreover, we prove monotonicity of ratios for sections of series of Wright functions, the result is also closely connected with Turán-type inequalities. In the end of the paper, we present some other inequalities for the Wright function.  相似文献

We investigate a particular aspect of the asymptotic expansion of the Wright function pΨq(z) for large |z|. In the case p?=?1, q ? 0, we establish the form of the exponentially small expansion of this function on certain rays in the z-plane (known as Stokes lines). The importance of such exponentially small terms is encountered in analytic probability theory and in the theory of generalised linear models. In addition, the transition of the Stokes multiplier connected with the subdominant exponential expansion across the Stokes lines is shown to obey the familiar error-function smoothing law expressed in terms of an appropriately scaled variable. Some numerical examples which confirm the accuracy of the expansion are given.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The Laplace transforms of the transition probability density and distribution functions of the Feller process contain products of a Kummer and a Tricomi confluent hypergeometric function. The intricacies caused by the singularity at 0 of the Feller process imply that ultimately seven new inverse Laplace transforms can be derived of which four contain the Marcum Q function. The results of this paper together with a scarcely used link between the Marcum and Nuttall Q functions also provide two alternative proofs for an existing identity involving two Marcum Q functions with reversed arguments. The paper also expands the existing expression for the Marcum Q function with identical arguments and order 1. In particular, the new formula applies to all integer and fractional values of the order and is expressed in terms of the generalized hypergeometric function.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a new integral representation of the four-parametric generalized Mittag-Leffler function introduced and studied by Djrbashian (Dzherbashian). The representation, obtained in this paper, contains an iterated integral, wherein the internal integral is a Cauchy-type integral, and the external one is a simple improper integral along the so-called Hankel path. In the present paper, we solve three boundary value problems related to the temperature field in oil strata — the fractional extensions of the incomplete lumped formulation and lumped formulation in the linear case and the fractional generalization of the incomplete lumped formulation in the radial case. By using the Caputo differintegral operator and the Laplace transform, the solutions are obtained in integral forms where the integrand is expressed in terms of the convolution of some auxiliary functions of Wright function type. In this paper we consider the generalized Cramér-Lundberg risk model including tax payments. We investigate how tax payments affect the behavior of a Cramér-Lundberg surplus process by defining an expected discounted penalty function at ruin. We derive an explicit expression for this function by solving a differential equation. Consequently, the explicit formulas for the discounted probability density function of the surplus immediately before ruin and the discounted joint probability density function of the surplus immediately before ruin and the deficit at ruin are obtained. We also give explicit expressions for the function for exponential claims.  相似文献

We present a Fourier transform representation of the generalized gamma functions, which leads to a distributional representation for them as a series of Dirac-delta functions. Applications of these representations are shown in evaluation of the integrals of products of the generalized gamma function with other functions. In this paper, we investigate the potential for a class of non‐Gaussian processes so‐called generalized grey Brownian motion. We obtain a closed analytic form for the potential as an integral of the M‐Wright functions and the Green function. In particular, we recover the special cases of Brownian motion and fractional Brownian motion. This transformation is an integral, where integration is with respect to an index of the sum of squares of Bessel functions of the first and second kind. The lattice profile analyzes the intrinsic structure of pseudorandom number sequences with applications in Monte Carlo methods and cryptology. In this paper, using the discrete Fourier transform for periodic sequences and the relation between the lattice profile and the linear complexity, we give general formulas for the expected value, variance, and counting function of the lattice profile of periodic sequences with fixed period. In this paper, we consider a renewal risk model with stochastic premiums income. We assume that the premium number process and the claim number process are a Poisson process and a generalized Erlang (n) processes, respectively. When the individual stochastic premium sizes are exponentially distributed, the Laplace transform and a defective renewal equation for the Gerber-Shiu discounted penalty function are obtained. Furthermore, the discounted joint distribution of the surplus just before ruin and the deficit at ruin is given. When the claim size distributions belong to the rational family, the explicit expression of the Gerber-Shiu discounted penalty function is derived. Finally, a specific example is provided.  相似文献

This article considers a Markov-dependent risk model with a constant dividend barrier. A system of integro-differential equations with boundary conditions satisfied by the expected discounted penalty function, with given initial environment state, is derived and solved. Explicit formulas for the discounted penalty function are obtained when the initial surplus is zero or when all the claim amount distributions are from rational family.
