Nanoparticle colloids of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-b-poly(D,L-lactide) (MPEG-b-PDLL) diblock copolymer were prepared by a modified spontaneous emulsification solvent diffusion method using acetone/ethanol as the mixture organic solvents. The MPEG-b-PDLL was synthesized by ring-opening polymerization of D,L-lactide using stannous octoate and MPEG with molecular weight of 5,000 g/mol as the initiating system. The MPEG-b-PDLL obtained was an amorphous polymer with molecular weight of 73,600 g/mol. Influences of acetone/ethanol (v/v) ratios and Tween 80 surfactant concentrations on characteristics of the colloidal nanoparticles were investigated and discussed. Light-scattering analysis showed that average diameters of the surfactant-free colloidal nanoparticles were in the range of 86–124 nm. The nanoparticle sizes decreased as the ethanol ratio increased. The Tween 80 did not show the significant effect on the nanoparticle sizes. Scanning electron micrographs of dried nanoparticles that demonstrated the aggregation of most particles suggested they were the soft nanoparticles. However, the dried nanoparticle morphology can be observed from scanning electron microscopy as having a spherical shape and smooth surfaces.  相似文献

The ring-opening polymerization of 5-methyl-1,3-dioxolane-2,4-dione(lactic O-carboxylic anhydride,LacOCA) using organometallic complexes,including Co(Ⅲ) complexes with Schiff base ligands,Tin(Ⅱ) alphatates and Al(Ⅲ) complexes with Schiff base ligands,was explored.The polymerization was carried out by treatment of the organometallic complexes with LacOCA in toluene under mild conditions.The corresponding poly(lactic acid) was characterized by spectroscopy and thermal analyses,which revealed insight into the structure of the effective catalyst for the polymerization of LacOCA.  相似文献

Samples of poly(l,l-lactide)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(l,l-lactide) (PLLA-PEG-PLLA) were synthesized from l,l-lactide polymerization using stannous 2-ethylhexanoate, Sn(Oct)2 as initiator and di-hydroxy-terminated poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) (M n  = 4000 g mol−1) as co-initiator. The chemical linkage between the PEG segment and the PLA segments was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Thermogravimetry analysis (TG) revealed the copolymers composition and was capable to show the deleterious effect of an excess of Sn(Oct)2 in the polymer thermal stability, while Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) allowed the observation of the miscibility between the PLLA and PEG segments in the different copolymers.  相似文献

The structural transition of the l- and dl forms of poly(N-(1- hydroxymethyl)propylmethacrylamide (PHMPMA) in aqueous solution was studied by measuring the pressure dependence of the apparent scattering intensity, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and circular dichroism (CD). The thermodynamic implications of the results are discussed in relation to the chiral structure of the side chain, and differences in the thermal and barometric transitions. T-P diagrams of the transition showed characteristic ellipsoid features. Antagonism of the temperature and pressure effects was observed only for P(dl-HMPMA). For P(l-HMPMA), the transition temperature (T tr) decreased with increasing pressure, and the highest T tr was observed at atmospheric pressure (0.1 MPa). For both polymers, the highest P trs were observed at the lowest temperatures. The l polymer showed a specific negative peak in its CD spectrum at around 220 nm in the lower temperature region and the temperature dependence was reproduced by a single-step transition, with the midpoint corresponding to the T tr obtained from the scattering measurements. Coupled with the results from the DSC, the different behavior between the P(l-HMPMA) and P(dl-HMPMA) could be explained in terms of the chain states before and after the transition. The cooperative factors derived from the DSC measurement revealed that about 4 to 5 polymers of the present size were necessary to perform a thermal transition for P(l-HMPMA), and that P(dl-HMPMA) underwent its transition as an almost single molecular event.This revised version was published online in June 2005 with correction to the article category.  相似文献

It is known that the electrical volume resistivity of insulating polymers filled with conductive fillers suddenly decreases at a certain content of filler. This phenomenon is called percolation. Therefore, it is known that controlling resistivity in the semi-conductive region for carbon black (CB) filled composites is very difficult. When poly (ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) (EVA) is used as a matrix, the percolation curve becomes gradual because CB particles disperse well in EVA. In this study, the relationship between the dispersion state of CB particles and electrical resistivity for EVA/poly (L-lactic acid) (PLLA) filled with CB composite was investigated. The apparent phase separation was seen in the SEM photograph. It was predicted that the CB particles located into the EVA phase in the light of thermodynamical consideration, which was estimated from the wetting coefficient between polymer matrix and CB particles. The total surface area per unit mass of dispersed CB particles in the polymer blend matrix was estimated from small-angle X-ray scattering and the volume resistivity decreased with increasing CB content. The values of the surface area of CB particles in CB filled EVA/PLLA (25/75 wt%) and EVA/PLLA (50/50 wt%) polymer blends showed a value similar to that of the CB filled EVA single polymer matrix. In electrical volume resistivity measurement, moreover, the slopes of percolation curves of EVA/PLLA (25/75 wt%) and EVA/PLLA (50/50 wt%) filled with CB composite are similar to that of EVA single polymer filled with CB composite. As a result, it was found that CB particles selectively locate in the EVA phase, and then the particle forms conductive networks similar to the networks in the case of EVA single polymer used as a matrix.  相似文献

Ultra-fine fibrous mats with magnolol entrapped have been prepared by electrospinning biodegradable copolymer poly(ethylene glycol) blocked poly(L-lactide). Drug entrapment was perfect which was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. According to in vitro drug release investigation by high performance liquid chromatography, it was found that fibers with 10%, 20% and 30% drug entrapped respect to polymer (mass ratio) presented dramatically different drug release behavior and degradation behavior under the effect of proteinase K. The reason may be that fibers with 10% drug entrapped was more easily affected by enzyme while, to some degree, magnolol in fibers with 20% and 30% entrapped prevented polymer from being degraded by enzyme.  相似文献

The micelle formation of a series of amphiphilic block copolymers in aqueous and NaCl solutions was studied by a fluorescent probe technique using pyrene as a "model drug". These copolymers were synthesized from poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG) and l-lactide by a new calcium ammoniate catalyst. They had fixed PEG block lengths (44, 104 or 113 ethylene oxide units) and various poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) block lengths (15–280 lactide units). The critical micelle concentration (cmc) was found to decrease with increasing PLLA content. The distinct dissimilarity of the cmc values of diblock and triblock copolymers based on the same block length of PEG provided evidence for the different configurations of their micelles. It was also observed that the introduction of NaCl salt significantly contributed to a decrease in the cmcs of the copolymers with short PEG and PLLA blocks, while it had less influence on the cmcs of copolymers with long PEG or PLLA blocks. The dependence of partition coefficients ranging from 0.2×105 to 1.9×105 on the PLLA content in the copolymer and on the micelle configuration was also discussed. The contribution of NaCl salt to increasing the partition of pyrene into a micellar phase was observed.  相似文献

Spectrophotometric kinetic technique has been used to investigate the effect of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) surfactants on the redox reaction of cerium(IV)+l-sorbose in aqueous sulfuric acid media. The anionic SDS has no effect, whereas the reaction rate increases in the presence of cationic CTAB, which is due to favorable conditions provide by the cationic micelles. The reaction rate decreases with [H2SO4], and no acid-dependent path has been observed. At constant [H2SO4], the rate of the reaction is dependent on the first powers of the l-sorbose and cerium(IV) concentrations. The CTAB-assisted reaction is retarded by addition of electrolytes (Na2SO4, NaNO3, and NaCl), which is attributed to the competition between electrolyte anions and cerium(IV)-sulfato species. Bromide ion (of CTAB or externally added in the form of NaBr) is not oxidized by the cerium(IV) (as a main or side reaction).  相似文献

New tri- and tetranuclear macrocyclic silver(i) and copper(i) 3-ferrocenyl-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrazolates were prepared: [{(3-((η5-C5H4)Fe(η5-C5H5))-5-(CF3)-Pz}M]3 (M = Cu (1), Ag (2)) and [{(3-(( η5-C5H4)Fe(η5-C5H5))-5-(CF3)-Pz}Cu]4 (3). The structures of compounds were established by X-ray diffraction analysis. In the crystalline state, a planar trinuclear silver-containing macrocycliс pyrazolate and a saddle-shaped tetranuclear copper-containing macrocycle are formed. The introduction of a bulky substituent, ferrocene, into the pyrazole ligand results in complete shielding of the acidic metal sites, which precludes the coordination of base molecules.  相似文献

New dinuclear ruthenium manganese complexes of general composition (bpy)2Ru(L)MnClx(H2O)2 (L is 1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione, 3,3′-dicarboxy-2,2′-bipyridyl, or bis(pyrazolyl); x = 2 or 4) were synthesized by the reaction of (bpy)2Ru(L) with MnCl2 · 4H2O. These compounds and the starting mononuclear ruthenium complexes were studied by spectrophotometric and electrochemical methods in MeCN. The position of the charge-transfer band RuII → L in the spectra depends on the donor-acceptor characteristics of the ligand L. For the dinuclear complex under study, the formal potentials of reversible one-electron oxidation of RuII are in the range of 0.9–1.2 V (vs. the standard hydrogen electrode), whereas oxidation of MnII occurs at more positive (by 0.1–0.2 V) potentials. Three new metal-organic coordination polymers were obtained namely, [Mn3(chdc)3-(NMP)2(DMF)2] (1, chdc2– is trans-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate, NMP is N-methylpyrrolidone, DMF is N,N-dimethylformamide), [Zn3(chdc)3(NMP)2]?2NMP (2), and [Zn3(chdc)3(ur)-(DMF)0.5]?DMF (3, ur is the urotropine). The crystal structures of polymers 1, 2, and 3 were determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. All three compounds were found to contain a trinuclear secondary building unit {M3(OOC)6}. Coordination polymers 1 and 2 have a layered structure, while polymer 3 has a three-dimensional coordination framework with isolated pores formed due to the presence of urotropine bridging molecules. Compounds 1 and 3 were characterized by IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric and elemental analysis data, powder X-ray diffraction. Compound 3 was also characterized by UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectrum.  相似文献

Dielectric analysis (DEA), supported by thermogravimetric analysis (TG), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), powder X-ray diffraction analysis (PXRD) and photomicrography, reveal the chiral difference in the amino acids. The acids are classified as dielectric materials based on their structure, relating chirality to the vector sum of the average dipole moment, composed of the constant optical (electronic) and infra-red (atomic) polarizabilities, as well as dipole orientation. This study encompasses 14 L-and D-amino acid isomers. Physical properties recorded include AC electrical conductivity, charge transfer complexes, melting, recrystallization, amorphous and crystalline phases, and relaxation spectra, activation energies and polarization times for the electrical charging process.  相似文献

Phase transitions of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-acrylic acid) (PiPA-AA) and poly(N,N- diethylacrylamide-co-acrylic acid) (PdEA-AA) in water have been investigated by means of turbidimetry, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The phase transition temperatures (Tp) of these copolymers increase with the degree of ionization () of the acrylic acid (AA) units, which in turn is dependent on the pH of the solutions. Apparent values of pKa for the AA units, determined from the pH dependencies of Tp, are 4.7 and 5.4 for PiPA-AA and PdEA-AA, respectively. Differences between Tp for PiPA-AA and Tp for PiPA homopolymer (Tp) are +1.5 and –0.2 °C/mol% of AA at =1 and 0, respectively. The values of Tp for PdEA-AA are +2.6 (ionic) and –0.5 (nonionic)°C/mol%, indicating that the incorporated AA units have a larger effect on PdEA than on PiPA. DSC measurements performed with each of these copolymers at different pH values show a linear relationship between Tp and the enthalpy of transition (H). IR measurements of PiPA-AA show that the profiles of IR bands from both iPA and AA units exhibit critical changes at Tp of the copolymer. Heating the solution above Tp leads to shifts of the amide II, C–H stretch, and C–H bend bands from the iPA units toward lower wavenumbers, as well as a shift of the amide I band from the iPA units toward higher wavenumbers. A decrease in the intensity of the symmetric C=O stretch IR band from carboxylate anions (1560 cm–1), and an increase in the intensity of the C=O stretch band from COOH groups (1705 cm–1) suggest that a partial protonation of the carboxylate groups (COO+H+COOH) takes place upon the phase transition.  相似文献

New PdI and Pd0 carbonyl bromide complexes co-existing in the same crystal were synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystals consist of dimeric complex anions composed of the central Pd(μ-CO)2Pd fragment and four partially disordered terminal ligands (CO and Br). Amphiphilic polymers Cn-PHEG consisting of water-soluble poly[N 5-2-(hydroxyethyl) l-glutamine] (PHEG) and hydrophobic alkyl chain (carbon number n = 12, 14, 16, or 18) attached at the PHEG terminal was prepared, and association behavior and structure of associate for Cn-PHEG in selective solvent (water/ethylene glycol mixed solvent) have been investigated. α-Helix content of PHEG block for all the polymers increased with weight fraction of ethylene glycol in the mixed solvent (W EG). By light scattering measurements, formation of a small micelle was suggested for C14-, C16-, and C18-PHEG when W EG = 0. With the increase in W EG, appearance of a larger associate was revealed for C16- and C18-PHEG. Evaluated molecular weight and radius of gyration suggested that the micelle is star-like sphere when W EG = 0 and worm-like cylinder when W EG = 0.7. C12-PHEG did not demonstrate any distinct micellization behavior because of the weak hydrophobicity of C12 chain.  相似文献

New tin(iv) mono- and bis-o-iminosemiquinone complexes were obtained by the exchange reaction of radical anion lithium salt of 4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-o-imino-benzoquinone with tin(iv) organochlorides. The compounds synthesized were characterized by EPR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. Substituents on the tin atom were found to affect stability of paramagnetic metal derivatives formed.  相似文献

Blends of bacterial poly((R)-3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) and poly(l-lactic acid) (PLLA) synthesized by polycondensation of l-lactic acid or by ring-opening polymerization of l-lactide were studied. Miscibility was investigated through both conventional differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and temperature-modulated DSC (TMDSC). PHB and low-molar mass PLLA were miscible in a whole concentration range, and a single glass transition temperature was observed. On the other hand, PHB/high-molar mass PLLA mixtures phase separate, giving rise to two glass transition temperatures corresponding to PHB and PLLA. A treatment of blends at 190 °C leads to formation of block/multiblock/random copolymers, and blends become miscible.  相似文献

Composition and thermodynamic stability of complexes of 1-[5-(hydrazidomethylsulfinyl)pentyl]-3,5-dimethylisocyanurate with cobalt(ii), nickel(ii), and iron(iii) in H2O—DMSO medium (60 vol.% DMSO) was studied by spectrophotometry, potentiometric titration, and mathematical modeling (CPESSP program). The geometries of all studied structures were optimized by the MM2 molecular mechanics method to obtain the primary target data (estimates) on coordination pattern of 1-[5-(hydrazidomethylsulfinyl)pentyl]-3,5-dimethylisocyanurate in complexes with cobalt(ii), nickel(ii), and iron(iii). Cobalt(ii) and nickel(ii) formed the 1 : 1 complexes; while iron(iii) under experimental conditions excluding redox reactions gave the 1 : 1 and 1 : 2 complexes. The inclusion compound of macrocyclic cavitand cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) with the nickel(II) complex containing the tetraazamacrocyclic ligand cyclam, {[Ni(cyclam)]@CB[8]}Cl2··16H2O (1), and the inclusion compounds of CB[8] with the copper(II) bis-ethylene-diamine complex, {trans-[Cu(en)2(H2O)2]@CB[8]}Cl2·{CB[8]}·42H2O (2a) and {trans-[Cu(en)2(H2O)2]@CB[8]}Cl2·17H2O (2b), were synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, IR and ESR spectroscopy, and electrospray mass spectrometry. A rapid and simple method was developed for the determination of free amino acids (AAs) released from cyanobacteria. The procedure involves trapping of AAs from the centrifuged cyanobacterial culture fluid on a cation-exchange resin, their release together with the resin by direct treatment with the reaction medium, followed by immediate derivatization with a corresponding chloroformate. The extractive alkylation transfers the analytes into an organic phase, an aliquot of which is subjected to GC analysis. Identification and quantification of AAs was performed by GC/MS and GC/FID, respectively, using propyl chloroformate (PCF) as the derivatization reagent. For chiral analysis, the cyanobacteria extracts were treated with 2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropyl chloroformate (PFPCF) to create more volatile analytes. Separation of the AA enantiomers was accomplished on a Chirasil-Val capillary column and the D/L enantiomeric ratios were determined. AAs of cyanobacteria are considered to be important for the assessment of energy flow in an aquatic food web, nutrition value of cyanobacteria in a food web and for cell–cell communication within cyanobacteria. The highest levels of AAs were found in the summer period at the beginning of the season (July). In the September and October samples, the amount of AAs was lower, the number of D-AAs decreased and the D/L ratio was higher than in the July sample. Based on the obtained results it can be assumed that young populations excrete AAs in higher concentrations and a different composition compared to actively growing populations.
