A direct magnetostatic problem for magnets with a finite-size inclusion is considered in an integrodifferential form. An approach is used that, under certain conditions, reduces the problem to a single integral equation on a two-dimensional manifold-the inclusion surface. As an important illustrative example, finite formulas are derived to compute the resulting field of a magnetic half-space with a spherical cavity in an arbitrary external field.  相似文献

This work solves a problem related to an inverse boundary value problem for nonlinear elliptic equations.

We consider an inhomogeneous Tricomi problem for a parabolic-hyperbolic equation with noncharacteristic type change line and with Frankl type matching condition for the normal derivatives on the type change line. The auxiliary function method is used to establish an a priori estimate of the solution. The existence of the solution is proved by the spectral method.  相似文献

A mixed problem for an inhomogeneous wave equation with fixed ends in the case of a summable potential is studied. Using the Krylov method for acceleration of the convergence of Fourier series, a classical solution under minimal conditions on the initial data and a generalized solution in the case of quadratic summable initial data and perturbing function are obtained.  相似文献

We study a boundary value problem for an inhomogeneous parabolic-hyperbolic equation with a noncharacteristic type change line. Boundary conditions of the first kind are posed on characteristics in the parabolic and hyperbolic parts of the domain where the equation is given, and a condition of the third kind is posed on the noncharacteristic part of the boundary in the parabolic part. In this paper, we prove the global existence of the weak solution to the mean field kinetic equation derived from the N-particle Newtonian system. For L1L initial data, the solvability of the mean field kinetic equation can be obtained by using uniform estimates and compactness arguments while the difficulties arising from the nonlocal nonlinear interaction are tackled appropriately using the Aubin-Lions compact embedding theorem.  相似文献

The following quasilinear parabolic equation with a source term and an inhomogeneous density is considered:

. The conditions on the parameters of the problem are found under which the solution to the Cauchy problem blows up in a finite time. A sharp universal (i.e., independent of the initial function) estimate of the solution near the blowup time is obtained.
