We numerically investigate the effects of parameter mismatches on chaos synchronization in vertical-cavity surfaceemitting lasers (VCSELs). We assume injection-locked chaos synchronization in a unidirectionally coupled and openloop optical feedback system. The accuracy of chaos synchronization is greatly affected by the mismatches of the device parameters and operation conditions between the two lasers. In particular, the oscillation frequency of the laser is one of the important parameters in a system of injection-locked chaos synchronization. However, the variations of the device characteristics of VCSELs are very large compared with those of other types of semiconductor lasers. We study the effects of parameter mismatches related to the oscillation frequency of VCSELs on chaos synchronization. We proved that mismatches in terms of the birefringence and the injection current play crucial roles for the quality of chaos synchronization.  相似文献

We investigate the transition to synchronization in ensembles of coupled oscillators with quenched disorder. We find that small coupling is able to increase the frequency disorder and to induce a spread of oscillator frequencies. This new effect of anomalous desynchronization is studied with numerical and analytical means in a large class of systems including R?ssler, Lotka-Volterra, Landau-Stuart, and Van-der-Pol oscillators. We show that anomalous effects arise due to an interplay between nonisochronicity and natural frequency of each oscillator and can either increase or inhibit synchronization in the ensemble. This provides a novel possibility to control the synchronization transition in nonidentical systems by suitably distributing the disorder among system parameters. We conjecture that our results are of relevance for biological systems.  相似文献

We discuss the asymptotic complete phase-frequency synchronization for the Kuramoto phase model with a finite size N. We present sufficient conditions for initial configurations leading to the exponential decay toward the completely synchronized states. Our new sufficient conditions and decay rate depend only on the coupling strength and the diameter of initial phase and natural frequency configurations. But they are independent of the system size N, hence they can be used for the mean-field limit. For the complete synchronization estimates, we estimate the time evolution of the phase and frequency diameters for configurations. The initial phase configurations for identical oscillators located on the half circle will converge to the complete synchronized states exponentially fast. In contrast, for the non-identical oscillators, the complete frequency synchronization will occur exponentially fast for some restricted class of initial phase configurations. Our estimates are based on the monotonicity arguments of extremal phase and frequencies, which do not employ any linearization procedure of nonlinear coupling terms and detailed information on the eigenvalue of the linearized system around the complete synchronized states. We compare our analytical results with numerical simulations.  相似文献

It has been found out that hyperchaotic behaviors can be controlled to enter periodicity state by modulating the detuned parameters in degenerated optical parameter oscillator (DOPO) with different periodic orbits from different modulation index at the same modulation frequency, or from different modulation frequency at the same modulation index. It was shown that the periodic orbits of the DOPOs modulated through sinusoid can be resulted in identical synchronization or inversed synchronization only in the case that the largest Lyapunov exponent exponent of the system is negative.PACS: 42.65.Sf  相似文献

This Letter presents two synchronization schemes between two different chaotic systems. Active control synchronization and adaptive synchronization between Chen system and Genesio system are studied, different controllers are designed to synchronize the drive and response systems, active control synchronization is used when system parameters are known; adaptive synchronization is employed when system parameters are unknown or uncertain. We investigate the chaotic phase synchronization in a system of coupled bursting neurons in small-world networks. A transition to mutual phase synchronization takes place on the bursting time scale of coupled oscillators, while on the spiking time scale, they behave asynchronously. It is shown that phase synchronization is largely facilitated by a large fraction of shortcuts, but saturates when it exceeds a critical value. We also study the external chaotic phase synchronization of bursting oscillators in the small-world network by a periodic driving signal applied to a single neuron. It is demonstrated that there exists an optimal small-world topology, resulting in the largest peak value of frequency locking interval in the parameter plane, where bursting synchronization is maintained, even with the external driving. The width of this interval increases with the driving amplitude, but decrease rapidly with the network size. We infer that the externally applied driving parameters outside the frequency locking region can effectively suppress pathologically synchronized rhythms of bursting neurons in the brain.  相似文献

Combining cascade synchronization scheme, parametric adaptive control and projective synchronization scheme, it proposes a new function cascade synchronization scheme to address a generalized-type synchronization problem of three famous chaotic systems: the Lorenz system, Liu system and RSssler system, the states of two identical chaotic systems with unknown parameters can be asymptotically synchronized by choosing different special suitable error functions. The aim of this Letter is to study by experiment the feasibility of tracking the state of analog Chua's circuit with particle filter for chaos synchronization. The structure of this digital-filter-based synchronization approach is proposed and depicted. The transmitted signals, generated from PSpice simulations and a physically implemented Chua's circuit, get through an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel to a receiver consisting of an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and a particle filter (PF). The ADC is used to sample the analog signals and the PF is used to estimate and track the state of the transmitting circuit to obtain synchronized oscillation signals. Experiment results indicate that it is possible to use this approach to synchronize analog Chua's circuit, even if the circuit parameters are not known exactly and time-varying. In addition, the effects of different signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), ADC sampling frequency and PF state sampling time on synchronization performance are also studied for further understanding of this synchronization approach.  相似文献

We investigate the synchronous dynamics of Kuramoto oscillators and van der Pol oscillators on Watts-Strogatz type small-world networks. The order parameters to characterize macroscopic synchronization are calculated by numerical integration. We focus on the difference between frequency synchronization and phase synchronization. In both oscillator systems, the critical coupling strength of the phase order is larger than that of the frequency order for the small-world networks. The critical coupling strength for the phase and frequency synchronization diverges as the network structure approaches the regular one. For the Kuramoto oscillators, the behavior can be described by a power-law function and the exponents are obtained for the two synchronizations. The separation of the critical point between the phase and frequency synchronizations is found only for small-world networks in the theoretical models studied.  相似文献

In this paper, parameters of a given (chaotic) dynamical system are estimated from time series by using identical synchronization between two different systems. This technique is based on the invariance principle of differential equations, i.e., a dynamical Lyapunov function involving synchronization error and the estimation error of parameters. The control used in this synchronization consists of feedback and adaptive control loop associated with the update law of estimation parameters. Our estimation process indicates that one may identify dynamically all unknown parameters of a given (chaotic) system as long as time series of the system are available. Lorenz and Rossler systems are used to illustrate the validity of this technique. The corresponding numerical results and analysis on the effect of noise are also given.  相似文献

针对一种新型的双路激光混沌复用系统, 建立相应的速率方程模型, 详细分析了两个主激光器的单个参数失配、多个参数同时失配、反馈强度差异以及频率失谐对混沌同步性能的影响, 并对此复用系统的安全性能和频谱性能进行了研究. 研究结果表明: 采用参数失配方案, 通过合理选择两个主激光器的参数, 可以保证两个主激光器之间的同步性能较差而两对主从激光器间实现高品质的混沌同步, 因此满足双路激光混沌复用的条件; 两个主激光器之间的参数失配对它们之间的同步性能影响较大, 然而对配对主从激光器间同步性能的影响并不明显, 进一步说明参数失配方案的有效性和可行性. 另外, 通过自相关函数和频谱分别分析混沌复用信号的时域和频域特征, 发现双路激光混沌复用系统可提供更高的安全性.  相似文献

The synchronization of hyperchaotic Chen systems is considered. An adaptive synchronization approach and a cascade adaptive synchronization approach are presented to synchronize a drive system and a response system. By utilizing an adaptive controller based on the dynamic compensation mechanism, exact knowledge of the systems is not necessarily required, and the synchronous speed is controllable by tuning the controller parameters. Sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability of the two synchronization schemes are derived. Numerical simulation results demonstrate that the adaptive synchronization scheme with four control inputs and the cascade adaptive synchronization scheme with only one control signal are effective and feasible in chaos synchronization of hyperchaotic systems.  相似文献

An adaptive algorithm of fine synchronization for intermediate frequency architecture coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (CO-OFDM) transmission system is proposed. The whole synchronization procedure is separated into two steps. In the first step, we use an auto-correlation-style algorithm to achieve the coarse symbol synchronization. In the second step, the proposed algorithm is used to achieve the adaptive fine synchronization. The merit of the proposed algorithm is that it can realize fine synchronization under different environments without adjusting the detect-threshold of timing metric in a dynamically reconfiguration network. And also the algorithm can implement in field-programmable gate array (FPGA) or other digital signal processing (DSP) chips easily. In this paper, the CO-OFDM model is analyzed in theory firstly. Secondly, an analysis on the performance of coarse synchronization algorithm used in this paper is made. Finally, the proposed fine synchronization algorithm is introduced in detail. The simulation experiment result demonstrates that the proposed algorithm achieves fine synchronization under different signal noise ratio (SNR) conditions after 6 fiber-spans transmission.  相似文献

HL-2A装置使用脉冲发电机组为装置极向场晶闸管电源供电以驱动线圈负载,晶闸管电源采用相控控制,因此同步信号的质量将直接影响电源的控制精度。HL-2A装置晶闸管电源同步信号取自同步变压器,脉冲发电机组带整流负载的供电方式使得同步信号不仅存在严重的波形畸变,同时还存在同步信号频率在大范围快速变化的特点。根据HL-2A装置晶闸管电源同步信号的特点,采用逐点巴特沃斯滤波器消除波形畸变,并通过实时频率计算和相位重建获得高质量同步信号。基于NI CompactRIO平台设计了晶闸管相控电源同步信号实时处理系统,实验结果表明该系统可有效解决同步信号畸变严重和频率宽范围快速变化的问题。  相似文献

This paper studies the adaptive synchronization of a switching system with unknown parameters which switches between the R?ssler system and a unified chaotic system. Using the Lyapunov stability theory and adaptive control method, the receiver system will achieve synchronization with the drive system and the unknown parameters would be estimated by the receiver. Then the proposed switching system is used for secure communications based on the communication schemes including chaotic masking, chaotic modulation, and chaotic shift key strategies. Since the system switches between two chaotic systems and the parameters are almost unknown, it is more difficult for the intruder to extract the useful message from the transmission channel. In addition, two new schemes in which the chaotic signal used to mask (or modulate) the transmitted signal switches between two components of a chaotic system are also presented. Finally, some simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed communication schemes.  相似文献

使用非线性动力学中的一维和二维耦合格子模型研究两个声光双稳系统的时空混沌同步.将驱动系统的输出以适当的比例耦合到响应系统并进行均衡, 能实现两系统的时空混沌同步.利用计算最大条件Lyapunov指数, 给出达到同步所需的最小耦合强度与系统参数的关系. 数值实验表明,在小噪声影响时仍然可以实现两系统的同步, 此法具有一定的抗干扰能力. 关键词: 单向耦合同步 时空混沌 布拉格声光双稳系统  相似文献

改进恒Lyapunov指数谱混沌系统的特殊的分段线性结构及其全局线性调幅参数与倒相参数的存在性,赋予了其同步体系新的可实现性与可调节性.依据广义同步的原理,构造合适的驱动系统与响应系统,可以实现恒Lyapunov指数谱混沌系统的广义同步;改变响应系统的参数,可实现完全同步与广义投影同步;改进恒Lyapunov指数谱混沌系统的全局线性调幅参数能对驱动与响应系统的状态变量幅值实施同步升降控制,倒相参数能对某一特定状态变量实施同步倒相控制.这种同步体系无需专门的控制器,结构简单,易于实现.文章最后设计了同步体系的实现电路,实验仿真结果证明了混沌同步方法的可行性,也验证了恒指数谱混沌系统特殊参数对同步体系状态变量幅值与相位的调控作用.  相似文献
