The moduli space of principal G-bundles on X, and in particular the holomorphic line bundles on this space and their global sections, play an important role in the recent applications of Conformal Field Theory to algebraic geometry. The main purpose of this paper is to introduce the notion of stability on an arbitrary Artin stack and construct a coarse moduli space for the open substack of stable points. We prove the infinitesimal Torelli theorem for general minimal complex surfaces X's with the first Chern number 3, geometric genus 1, and irregularity 0 which have non-trivial 3-torsion divisors. We also show that the coarse moduli space for surfaces with the invariants as above is a 14-dimensional unirational variety.  相似文献

We study triangles in the three-dimensional Heisenberg group, ${\mathbb{H}}$ , equipped with the Carnot-Carathéodory geometry. The set of ordered triangles in ${\mathbb{H}}$ (excluding certain degenerate triangles), up to congruence is naturally identified via a parametrization map to a fine moduli space of parameters. We determine the homeomorphism type of this moduli space and also that of the coarse moduli space of unordered triangles. We describe a boundary for the fine moduli space and construct a compactification for it, up to similarity under the non-isotropic dilation of ${\mathbb{H}}$ . Additionally, some trigonometric results for the Carnot-Carathéodory geometry of ${\mathbb{H}}$ are given: an angle deficit formula and an analog of the Law of Sines in Euclidean geometry.  相似文献

In this Note, we construct the moduli space of hyperbolically imbedded manifolds. We recall that the moduli space of compact hyperbolic manifolds has been constructed by Brody and Wright. To construct our moduli space, we use a general criterion to represent analytic functors by coarse moduli spaces due to Schumacher. The objects to deform are couples (X,D) where X is a compact manifold and D is a normal crossing divisor in X such that X?D is hyperbolically imbedded in X. This criterion is based on two ingredients: in our case, the first is the existence of semi-universal logarithmic deformation due to Kawamata. The second is a consequence of a theorem of stability of hyperbolically imbedded spaces through logarithmic deformations. We use the relative-distance of Kobayashi to simplify the proof. LetM be the moduli space of generalized parabolic bundles (GPBs) of rankr and degree dona smooth curveX. LetM −L be the closure of its subset consisting of GPBs with fixed determinant− L. We define a moduli functor for whichM −L is the coarse moduli scheme. Using the correspondence between GPBs onX and torsion-free sheaves on a nodal curveY of whichX is a desingularization, we show thatM −L can be regarded as the compactified moduli scheme of vector bundles onY with fixed determinant. We get a natural scheme structure on the closure of the subset consisting of torsion-free sheaves with a fixed determinant in the moduli space of torsion-free sheaves onY. This paper introduces a submanifold of the moduli space of unitary representations of the fundamental group of a punctured sphere with fixed local monodromy. The submanifold is defined via products of involutions through Lagrangian subspaces. We show that the moduli space of Lagrangian representations is a Lagrangian submanifold of the moduli of unitary representations.  相似文献

We describe some recent progress in the study of moduli space of Riemann surfaces in this survey paper. New complete Kahler metrics were introduced on the moduli space and Teichmuller space. Their curvature properties and asymptotic behavior were studied in details. These natural metrics served as bridges to connect all the known canonical metrics, especially the Kahler-Einstein metric. We showed that all the known complete metrics on the moduli space are equivalent and have Poincare type growth. Furthermore, the Kahler-Einstein metric has strongly bounded geometry. This also implied that the logarithm cotangent bundle of the moduli space is stable in the sense of Mumford.  相似文献

We construct the coarse moduli space of quadratic line complexes with a fixed Segre symbol σ as well as the moduli space of the corresponding singular surfaces. We show that the map associating to a quadratic line complex its singular surface induces a morphism . We compute the rational Betti cohomology groups of the coarse moduli spaces of geometrically marked Del Pezzo surfaces of degree 3 and 4 as representations of the Weyl groups of the corresponding root systems. We describe some recent progress in the study of moduli space of Riemann surfaces in this survey paper. New complete Kähler metrics were introduced on the moduli space and Teichmüller space. Their curvature properties and asymptotic behavior were studied in details. These natural metrics served as bridges to connect all the known canonical metrics, especially the Kähler-Einstein metric. We showed that all the known complete metrics on the moduli space are equivalent and have Poincaré type growth. Furthermore, the Kähler-Einstein metric has strongly bounded geometry. This also implied that the logarithm cotangent bundle of the moduli space is stable in the sense of Mumford.

In [7], Mainò constructed a moduli space for enriched stable curves, by blowing-up the moduli space of Deligne–Mumford stable curves. We introduce enriched spin curves, showing that a parameter space for these objects is obtained by blowing-up the moduli space of spin curves. We study certain moduli spaces of stable vector bundles of rank 2 on cubic and quartic threefolds. In many cases under consideration, it turns out that the moduli space is complete and irreducible and a general member has vanishing intermediate cohomology. We give an algebro-geometric derivation of the known intersection theory on the moduli space of stable rank 2 bundles of odd degree over a smooth curve of genus g.
