反射谱具有三角形形状的光纤光栅在光纤传感等领域中具有重要的应用前景。利用遗传算法设计出了产生三角形光谱分布的光纤光栅的耦合系数沿光纤的分布。计算表明,三角形光谱光纤光栅是可以实现的,其反射带宽可以通过光栅的啁啾量进行调节,常周期的三角光栅反射带宽小,变周期的三角光栅反射带宽大,其带宽同其啁啾量大致相等。实验中,采用光束扫描法制备了反射底宽为0.77nm三角形光谱的光纤光栅。  相似文献

Metallic triangular grating structures have a wide range of applications. This study focuses on the radiative properties of triangular grating structures of aluminum in the mid-infrared wavelength to determine if we can tailor the infrared radiative properties by designing special geometrical details into triangular grating surfaces. Fabrication of triangular gratings within the range of micron scale is very difficult. Therefore, the influences of slight geometry modification, generated by fabrication errors, on radiative properties of triangular gratings are mainly investigated. The electromagnetic wave scattering from such surfaces is predicted by solving Maxwell's equations using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. The results show that the spectral reflectance varies with the dimensions of triangular gratings, which is due to the excitation of surface wave by confirmation of the EM fields. It is found that the spectral reflectance can also be reduced by increasing the height of slight geometry modification. The effect of oblique incident wave state is also investigated. An optical vortex is found due to the coupling of surface waves, the oblique incident wave and the scattering waves. This study helps to gain a better understanding of the radiative properties of metallic triangular gratings with slight geometry modification and will have an impact on triangular grating processing.  相似文献

In thin-film silicon solar cells, a flexible optical design for light collection is developed that can enhance the optical path length in absorber layer. In this paper, we demonstrate the rectangular, trapezoidal and triangular metallic diffraction gratings as back reflectors. The potential of the structures in the solar cells is investigated by means of numerical simulations, i.e., the Rigorous Coupled Wave Analysis enhanced by the Modal Transmission Line theory. The results show that the 0-order reflection can be suppressed and the energy can be transferred to high diffraction orders by metallic diffraction gratings, especially the triangular metallic diffraction gratings.  相似文献

The solar cell efficiency can be improved by antireflection gratings. In this paper, the antireflection gratings with different symmetrical surface profiles are investigated by numerical simulations based on the Rigorous Coupled-Wave Analysis. Simulated results show that the antireflection performance of sharp profile such as quadratic profile has a significant improvement compared with triangular and parabolic profiles, while the top cutoff in the grating tip will severely influence the antireflection performance. Meanwhile, proper length of flat region between grating features in the nonclose-packed triangular antireflection grating can have better antireflection performance than the close-packed counterpart for the same grating period and height. Such antireflection gratings with different surface profiles may offer attractive solutions to current commercial silicon solar cell, as well as organic and other semiconductor material based solar cells.  相似文献

We present a new technique for light scanning by use of viscoelastic-based deformable phase diffraction gratings. Mechanical stretching of the grating permits control of its spatial period, and thus the orders of diffraction can be spatially deflected. In the experiments the viscoelastic gratings with triangular and rectangular profiles have been characterized at lambda = 633 nm. It is demonstrated that the reversible elongation can exceed 20% of the initial length. For the triangular profile grating, the diffraction angle of the first order changed from 6.6 degrees to 5.4 degrees while the diffraction efficiency remained almost constant at approximately 17%. Dynamic scanning of a laser beam at frequencies of approximately 1 kHz is demonstrated by use of electromechanically driven viscoelastic gratings.  相似文献

Based on an accurate perturbation analysis of the guiding properties of dielectric gratings, simple design criteria are developed for grating couplers which transfer the energy of a beam into or out of an optical waveguide. Gratings having arbitrary groove shapes are considered and explicit formulae are given for the leakage parameters of gratings with symmetric profiles. The results cover TEv and TMv modes and they apply to both shallow and deep grating grooves. The variation of the leakage parameter α in rectangular gratings is examined in detail; these rectangular gratings are then used as basic configurations for predicting the characteristics of other grating profiles. Particular attention is given to trapezoidal and triangular profiles and gratings with asymmetric profiles are also discussed.  相似文献

提出了一种利用非线性二次曝光技术制作三角形光纤Bragg光栅的新方法.该方法只使用普通Bragg位相模板,采用两次曝光技术,通过控制光纤光栅的本地谐振波长和反射率,达到控制光纤光栅谱形的目的.第一次直接对光纤曝光,用来控制光纤光栅谐振波长;第二次通过位相模板曝光,用来控制光纤光栅的反射率.考虑到光敏光纤感光特性曲线的多项e负指数变化规律,按照"分步写入光纤光栅设计软件"进行曝光分布设计,利用"分步曝光光纤光栅写入系统"进行曝光控制,使用信息产业部第46研究所生产的DCS-01型光敏光纤,得到了线性范围1.24 nm、反射率为0~64%的三角形光纤Bragg光栅.三角形光纤Bragg光栅作为光纤光栅传感解调器件,在光纤传感领域具有重要应用价值.  相似文献

从理论和实验上研究了三角形光纤布拉格光栅的温度特性,结果表明:三角形光纤布拉格光栅谐振波长的温度变化率与普通光纤光栅的相同,并且其光谱形状不随温度的变化而改变。利用三角形光纤光栅光谱的这一温度特性,设计了一种具有温度补偿功能的应变传感解调系统。该系统利用斜线光纤光栅将光纤光栅应变传感的波长编码信息转换为强度,并且用信号强度与参考光强度的比值作为应变的度量值。研究表明,应变与应变度量值成线性关系,同时系统具有温度补偿功能。在三种不同的温度条件下,对悬臂梁的应变测试结果显示:在实验测量范围内,温度变化1℃导致的应变测量误差小于6微应变。由于采用信号强度和参考光强度的比值作为应变的度量值,避免了宽带光源的平坦度及波动对测量结果的影响。  相似文献

To demonstrate the technique, reflection spectra of fibre gratings with triangular and diamond apodisation profiles were calculated showing significant side-lobe suppression. MoL can accurately calculate not only average power but also field and phase distribution across reflected waves. Doubled femtosecond laser pulses in-line are needed in the collinear pump-probe technique, collinear second harmonic generation frequency-resolved optical gating (SHG FROG) and the spectral phase interferometry for direct electric-field reconstruction (SPIDER), etc. Normally, it is generated by using a Michelson's structure. In this paper, we proposed a novel structure with two-layered reflective Dammann gratings and the reflective mirrors to generate doubled femtosecond laser pulses in line without transmission optical elements. Angular dispersion and spectral spatial walk-off are both compensated. In addition, this structure can also compress the positive chirped pulse, which cannot be realized with a Michelson's structure. By adopting triangular grating and blazed gratings, the efficiency of the system would in principle be increased as the Michelson's scheme. Experiments demonstrated that this method should be an alternative approach for generation of the double compressed pulses of femtosecond laser for practical applications.  相似文献

It is revealed that certain terms entering into the nonlinear continual equation describing thin-film growth enable its application to the simulation of the surfaces of multilayer mirrors and gratings with a large height and/or jumps of boundary-profile gradients. The proposed model characterizes both variations in the power spectral-density function of the surface of Al/Zr multilayer mirrors and the smoothing and shift of the boundaries of Mo/Si and Al/Zr gratings grown on Si substrates with triangular groove profiles by means of magnetron and ion-beam deposition. Rigorous calculations indicate that the intensities of diffuse X-ray scattering by Au mirrors, which have similar boundary profiles with Gaussian and exponential autocorrelation functions, differ substantially from each other. Computer simulation of the growth of Mo/Si and Al/Zr multilayer gratings is performed. On the basis of the calculated boundary profiles, the absolute diffraction efficiencies of the Mo/Si and Al/Zr gratings are found via the integral equation method in the extreme UV region. It is demonstrated that the proposed comprehensive approach to calculations of the boundary profiles and the intensities of short-wavelength scattering from multilayer mirrors and gratings makes it possible to carry out studies comparable in accuracy to measurements based on synchrotron radiation.  相似文献

We present a grating model of two-dimensional (2D) rigorous coupled wave analysis (RCWA) to study top diffraction gratings on light-emitting diodes(LEDs). We compare the integrated-transmission of the non-grating,rectangular-grating,and triangular-grating cases for the same grating period of 6μm,and show that the triangular grating has the best performance. For the triangular grating with 6-μmperiod, the LED achieves the highest light transmission at 6-μ gratingbottom width and 2.9-μm grating depth. Compared with the non-grating case, the optimized light transmission improvement is about 74.6%.The simulation agrees with the experimental data of the thin ploymer grating encapsulated flip-chip(FC) GaN-based LEDs for the light extraction improvement.  相似文献

Surface-relief gratings were directly fabricated onto a glass surface by UV-visible laser irradiation. The glass surface was pretreated by molten salt, including Ag ions. Periodic intensity modulation of the laser light was conducted with a phase mask or by an interference technique. A pattern generated by intensity modulation was precisely transcribed onto the glass surface and a surface-relief grating was formed. The period and depth of the grating were 0.5 to 10 microm and less than 0.8 microm, respectively. The cross-sectional profile of the grating was sinusoidal or triangular, with very smooth surface morphology.  相似文献

We propose a novel and practical method to exactly measure the transient reflectance spectra (TRS) of the adaptive filters based on dynamic population gratings. The modulating signals applied to the laser source play an important role. We specially designed a train of triangular amplitude modulated pulses with a small duty to modulate the laser frequency, and then the TRS was obtained from the grating responses to this pulse train. The measured half-zero-point bandwidths of the filter with and without 2.6 m cavity length are 20 and 60 MHz, respectively. Our research also indicates that the relatively high input power and a short cavity length may enhance the antiperturbation ability of lasers.  相似文献

According to the angular-spectrum method, a radiation beam of an antenna horn in the Fresnal region is decomposed into the plane waves with the fast Fourier transform algorithm and the waves diffracted from a reflection grating are superposed as a diffracted beam. Compared with the reflected beam from the same size mirror, the radiation half width of the diffracted beam from a grating is narrower and its lateral shape is shift. These performances have been experimentally verified at Ka-band by: (1). The relative diffraction efficiencies in the first order with two triangular gratings which is put along propagating direction of a beam produced by a conical lens-horn. (2). H-plane lateral width with power—3dB lapsed of the focus beam from a grating and a mirror in a grating spectrometer for millimeter waves (25–100 GHz).  相似文献

In order to investigate non-destructively the bonding between rough plates, the problem of Lamb waves propagating on a rough plate is addressed in this paper. Numerical analysis is performed on periodical gratings made of identical triangular grooves. If the surface profile is made up of grooves with one periodicity, then a mode conversion is observed. In the wave-number/frequency space, a phonon relation is written between phonons related to the grating and to the incident and reflected-converted modes. If the grooved surface is made up of several spatial periodicities, then the phonon relation is still verified. Signal processing allows us to give an interpretation of the results in the dual space (wave-number/frequency). An experimental study is also performed to corroborate the numerical predictions.  相似文献
