A technique is proposed to determine the natural frequencies of rib-reinforced cylindrical shells with low shear stiffness. The equations of motion based on the Timoshenko model are used. The influence of the transverse shear moduli of the shell and ribs on the minimum natural frequencies and corresponding modes is studied by way of numerical examples. The Bogolyubov-Mitropolsky method is used to find approximate periodic solutions to the system of nonlinear equations that describes the large-amplitude vibrations of cylindrical shells interacting with a fluid flow. Three quantitatively different cases are studied: (i) the shell is subject to hydrodynamic pressure and external periodical loading, (ii) the shell executes parametric vibrations due to the pulsation of the fluid velocity, and (iii) the shell experiences both forced and parametric vibrations. In this paper the nonlinear dynamic behavior of a viscoelastic circular cylindrical shell under a harmonic excitation applied at both ends is studied. The modified Flugge partial differential equations of motion are reduced to a system of finite degrees of freedom using the Galerkin method. The equations are solved by the Liapunov–Schmidt reduction procedure. In order to study 1/2 and 1/4 subharmonic parametric resonance of the shell, the transition sets in parameter plane and bifurcation diagrams are plotted for a number of situations. Results indicate that, for certain static loads, the shell may display jumps due to the presence of dynamic periodic load with small amplitude. Additionally, different physical situations are identified in which periodic oscillating phenomena can be observed, and where 1/4 subharmonic parametric resonance is simpler than the 1/2-one. 相似文献

The equations of nonaxisymmetric vibrations of sandwich cylindrical shells with discrete core under nonstationary loading are presented. The components of the elastic structure are analyzed using a refined Timoshenko theory of shells and rods. The numerical method used to solve the dynamic equations is based on the integro-interpolation method of constructing finite-difference schemes for equations with discontinuous coefficients. The natural vibrations of a cantilever thin elastic orthotropic circular cylindrical shell are studied. Dispersion equations
for the determination of possible natural frequencies of cantilever closed shells and open shells with Navier hinged boundary
conditions at the longitudinal edges are derived from the classical dynamic theory of orthotropic cylindrical shells. It is
proved that there are asymptotic relationships between these problems and the problems for a cantilever orthotropic strip
plate and for a cantilever rectangular plate and the eigenvalue problem for a semi-infinite closed orthotropic cylindrical
shell with free end and for the same but open shell with Navier hinged boundary conditions at the longitudinal edges. A procedure

Natural vibrations localized at the free edge of a semiinfinite, elastic, orthotropic, circular cylindrical shell of open profile are studied. The cylinder is hinged along the bounding generatrices. Dispersion equations are derived from the classical equations describing the dynamic equilibrium for orthotropic cylindrical shells. It is established that these dispersion equations and the dispersion equations for a semiinfinite orthotropic plate strip are in an asymptotic relationship. A procedure for analysis of the possible types of vibrations at the free edge of the cylinder is described. 研究了磁场环境中受机械载荷作用的导电圆柱薄壳的热磁弹性问题.首先,根据电动力学方程和广义Ohm定律,得到了导电薄壳电流密度的分布,考虑到Joule热效应及热平衡方程,得到了导电薄壳的温度分布.其次,通过几何方程、物理方程、运动方程和电动力学方程导出了导电薄壳在机械场、电磁场以及温度场作用下的基本方程.最后,采用差分法及准线性化方法,得到了可以应用离散正交法求解的准线性微分方程组.对于导电圆柱薄壳,得到了Lorentz力表达式,并且推导了温度场积分特征值.讨论了导电圆柱薄壳应力、温度及变形随外加电磁参量的变化规律,并通过实例证实了可以通过改变电、磁、力场的参数来实现对薄壳的应力、应变、温度的控制. 相似文献

功能梯度材料是一种新型材料,其结构分析已成为当今力学研究的热点。本文对一种特殊梯度分布的功能梯度材料圆柱壳进行了二维精确分析。从弹性力学平面应变问题的基本方程出发,引入应力函数,导出功能梯度材料圆柱壳受静载作用下的控制微分方程。假设材料的杨氏模量沿半径方向呈幂函数分布,泊松比为常数,利用分离变量法,导出了简支边界情况下功能梯度圆柱壳的精确解。通过算例分析了不同梯度变化时,功能梯度圆柱壳内的应力和位移变化规律。计算结果表明不同梯度分布的圆柱壳结构中的应力、位移沿厚度方向的变化规律是不同的,有时甚至差别很大。因此对于材料性质梯度变化的功能梯度材料圆柱壳,必须针对其自身特点,建立相应的理论分析模型。 相似文献
