Through a measurement of flux profiles, the inductive method of Campbell has not only been used for determining the bulk critical current density of large sized samples but has also been extended to study the coupling strength of the domains in melt textured NdBa2Cu3O7−δ superconductors. An analysis of the profiles measured for the slow (1°C/h) and fast cooled (40°C/h) samples through peritectic temperature, Tp clearly showed that the domain boundaries in the fast cooled samples are decoupled in the presence of external dc fields. The observed features of flux profiles are correlated to the microstructural features of the samples. It is proposed that this technique can be used routinely to assess the quality of large size melt textured samples for high current applications like magnetic bearings or quasi permanent magnets.  相似文献

The copper oxide superconductors are considered to have stacking structures of strongly and weakly super-conducting layers. Using this model, the tunneling conductance in a junction of the superconductor and a normal metal is calculated as a function of bias voltage. The calculation predicts that a characteristic fine structure appears inside the superconducting gap in the tuneling spectrum at low temperatures.  相似文献

The addition of silver to YBa2Cu3O7−δ (Y123) is well known to decrease its decomposition temperature. This study demonstrates the success in welding large Y123 textured samples with Ag doped Y123 junctions. Attempts to weld two melt textured domains of Y123 by a 1 mm thick layer of Ag doped Y123 are reported. The crucial importance of the initial Y211 excess content in the spacer material is pointed out. Microstructural observations, trapped field measurements and transport critical current density measurements prove that for a given Y211 amount a very high joint quality can be obtained. A transport critical current density as high as 10 kA/cm2 is registered through the junction at 77 K and 5 T when the applied field is parallel to the (a,b) planes.  相似文献

In connection with the unique structural features of the recently discovered high Tc YBa2Cu3O7 and (La,Ba)2CuO4 we show that in such a multi-narrow-band system the opposite-spin interband pairs can function concurrently as both antiferromagnetic real pairs in x-space and Cooper pairs in k-space. So, contrary to the usually depairing Coulomb pseudotential μ1 considered in traditional superconductors, the intra-atomic Coulomb repulsive interactions in a multiband system result in a positive contribution to Cooper pairing and enhance the conventional boson-mediated (electron-phonon and/or electron-exciton) superconductivity.  相似文献

The analysis of photoemission and femtosecond optical absorption spectroscopy in oxide superconductors supports the view that the charge carriers are polaronic in nature. These carriers are found to exist in the (Ba/Sr)-O planes and are coupled toB 1g vibrations of the apical oxygen.  相似文献

The conditions for the occurrence of reentrant superconductivity in granular superconductors are studied. The parameters of synthesis of the ceramic samples of CaLaBaCu3O x , SrLaBaCu3O x and YBa2–x Sr x Cu3O y Se z compositions, the results of their microstructure research, the elemental composition and the temperature dependence of the resistance are given. Samples are obtained, which reproducibly exhibit the reentrant superconductivity after the tens of thermal cycling. The relationship between the occurrence of reentrant superconductivity and the oxygen content in the samples was not established.  相似文献

It is observed that doping suppresses the long range anti-ferromagnetic order and induces superconducting phase for a suitable doping. In order to study this effect, we present a model study of the doping dependence of the tunneling conductance in high-Tc systems. The system is described by the Hamiltonian consisting of spin density wave (SDW) and s-wave type superconducting interaction in presence of varying impurity concentrations. The gap equations are calculated by using Green’s functions technique of Zubarev. The gap equations and the chemical potential are solved self-consistently. The imaginary part of the electron Green’s functions shows the quasi-particle density of states which represent the tunneling conductance observed by the scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). We investigate the effect of impurity on the gap equations as well as on the tunneling conductance. The results will be discussed based on the experimental observations.  相似文献

The quenched decorated Ising model with competitive interactions is used here to described the magnetic properties of the copper oxide superconductors compounds in the insulating phase (antiferromagnetic). The model consists of planes in which the nodal spins interact antiferromagnetically (JA<0) with their nearest-neighbors, and ferromagnetically (JF>0) with the spins that decorate the bonds, which are quenched and distributed randomly over the two-dimensional lattice. The planes interact antiferromagnetically with weak-exchange interaction (i.e., , λ=10-5). By using the framework of an effective-field theory, based on the differential operator technique, we discuss the antiferromagnetic-phase stability limit in the temperature-decorated bond concentration space (T-p), for λ=10-5 and various values of frustration parameter α=JA/JF. For certain region range of the parameter α we observe a reentrant behavior at low-temperature. We also discuss the critical behavior of TN versus α for some values of decorated bond concentrations and reentrant phenomena is observed. We calculate the dependence of the staggered magnetization as a function of the temperature to analyze the reentrant behavior observed in the phase diagrams.  相似文献
