A scheme is presented for teleporting an unknown state in a trapped ion system. The scheme only requires a single laser beam. It allows the trap to be in any state with a few phonons, e.g. a thermal motion. Furthermore, it works in the regime, where the Rabi frequency of the laser is on the order of the trap frequency. Thus, the teleportation speed is greatly increased, which is important for decreasing the decoherence effect. This idea can also be used to teleport an unknown ionic entangled state.  相似文献

<正>Cr ion implantations in glass with the different doses of D=1.493×10~(17) and 4.976×10~(17) ion/cm~2 are obtained by metal vapor vacuum arc(MEVVA).The effects of the different Cr ion implanted doses on terahertz(THz) transmission property are analyzed from THz time-domain spectroscopy.The results show that the more the Cr ion implanted dose in the micro-area implantation glasses,the larger the THz transmission except the larger absorption at 0.24 THz.This is an effect attributed to the coupling of plasmas on both the implantation and the implantation affected zones of the Cr ion implantation glass.  相似文献

Theoretical investigation of amplitude modulation of ion sound waves is presented here for an electron–ion plasma where the electrons are dictated by the double spectral index (r, q) distribution function. Using the standard reductive perturbative technique, a non-linear Schrödinger (NLS) equation is derived that describes the evolution of modulated ion sound envelope excitations. Stability analysis of the NLS equation shows that the ion sound waves remain stable for the flat-topped and kappa-like distributions, but they can become unstable for the spiky electron velocity distribution. It is shown that changing the electron population in regions of low and high phase space density regions results in remarkable features that have no equivalent in ion sound waves with Boltzmannian electrons. Different types of localized ion sound excitations are plotted for the different shapes of the distribution functions controlled by the double spectral indices, and the underlying physics is discussed in detail. The present investigation may be beneficial to understand ion sound excitations in space plasmas where the distribution functions of the shapes presented here are frequently encountered by the satellite missions.  相似文献

The nickel-base alloy is one of the leading candidate materials for generation IV nuclear reactor pressure vessel.To evaluate its stability of helium damage and retention,helium ions with different energy of 80 keV and 180 keV were introduced by ion implantation to a certain dose(peak displacement damage 1-10 dpa).Then thermal desorption spectroscopy(TDS)of helium atoms was performed to discuss the helium desorption characteristic and trapping sites.The desorption peaks shift to a lower temperature with increasing dpa for both 80 keV and 180 keV irradiation,reflecting the reduced diffusion activation energy and faster diffusion within the alloy.The main release peak temperature of 180 keV helium injection is relatively higher than that of 80 keV at the same influence,which is because the irradiation damage of 180 keV,helium formation and entrapment occur deeper.The broadening of the spectra corresponds to different helium trapping sites(He-vacancies,grain boundary)and desorption mechanisms(different Hen Vm size).The helium retention amount of 80 keV is lower than that of 180 keV,and a saturation limit associated with the irradiation of 80 keV has been reached.The relatively low helium retention proves the better resistance to helium bubbles formation and helium brittleness.  相似文献

The carburizing of titanium (Ti) is accomplished by utilizing energetic ion pulses of a 1.5 kJ Mather type dense plasma focus (DPF) device operated in methane discharge. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirms the deposition of polycrystalline titanium carbide (TiC). The samples carburized at lower axial and angular positions show an improved texture for a typical (200)TiC plane. The Williamson-Hall method is employed to estimate average crystallite size and microstrains in the carburized Ti surface. Crystallite size is found to vary from ~ 50 to 100 nm, depending on the deposition parameters. Microstrains vary with the sample position and hence ion flux, and are converted from tensile to compressive by increasing the flux. The carburizing of Ti is confirmed by two major doublets extending from 300 to 390 cm-1 and from 560 to 620 cm-1 corresponding to acoustic and optical active modes in Raman spectra, respectively. Analyses by scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDS) have provided qualitative and quantitative profiles of the carburized surface. The Vickers microhardness of Ti is significantly improved after carburizing.  相似文献

Using the closed orbit theory, we studied the effects of dielectric discontinuity on the photodetachment of H? ions. The photodetachment cross-section of H? in a medium with dielectric discontinuity was derived and calculated. The results have shown that the relative dielectric constants of the medium have a significant influence on the photodetachment of H?. If H? is kept in a medium with a relative small dielectric constant, the photodetachment cross-section of H? becomes oscillating only in a small region above the ionization threshold. However, if H? is kept in a medium with a relative large dielectric constant, the oscillation in the photodetachment cross-section becomes much stronger. Besides, the distance between H? and the dielectric dividing interface also influences the photodetachment of H?. For a given dielectric medium, the oscillation in the cross-section decreased with increasing distance between H? and the dielectric dividing interface. Therefore, we can control the photodetachment of a negative ion by changing the dielectric constant and the ion–interface distance. This study provides a new understanding of the photodetachment process of negative ions in the presence of a dielectric medium.  相似文献

The effects of a Mg^2+ ion on the dopant occupancy and upconversion luminescence of a Ho^3+ ion in LiNbO3 crystal are reported. The birefringence gradient of the crystal is measured to investigate the optical homogeneity. The X-ray powder diffraction spectrum and the upconversion luminescence are used to investigate defect structure and spectroscopic properties of Mg,Ho:LiNbO3. Under 808-nm excitation, blue, red, and very intense yellow-green bands are observed. Based on the energy levels of Ho^3+ in LiNbO3, and the pump intensity dependence of the observed emission, an excitation scheme is presented. The upconversion emission spectra reveal an enhancement of upconversion intensity when the Mg^2+ ions are introduced into Ho:LiNbO3. The main upconversion mechanism is discussed in this work.  相似文献

As a contribution towards a better theoretical understanding of zeolite properties, the mechanism of ion migration through zeolite lattices has been studied with special reference to ion selectivity in chabazite. We have started from the Cartesian coordinates obtained by combining experimental data and the values for a model having standard bond lengths and angles. Then we have applied the Del Re method (with appropriate parameters for Si and Al) to determine the net charges of the framework atoms. Then we have computed the potential energy profiles for one or more cations crossing the larger cavity of the chabazite unit cell (ca 200 atoms). The interaction energy contains electrostatic terms associated with point-charge interaction and polarization effects.Two different pictures have been analyzed: a totally idealized one, where ion motion takes place in the fully dehydrated zeolite, and a more realistic one, where the ion is seen as a moving aquo complex. In the latter case, the presence of the solvent has been taken into account by introducing a dielectric constant depending on ion size and channel diameter. Whereas no significant differences between ions having the same formal charges have been found in the dehydrated case, polarization effects being too small to bring about a distinct selectivity, the model taking solvation into account does predict the expected selectivity, and agrees well with available experimental results. Equilibrium sites, the corresponding free energies, and energy barriers between them have been used for the discussion.The value of the two models in attempts to understand elementary physico-chemical processes in zeolites is emphasized, with extensive reference to existing literature.  相似文献

A program is developed to calculate the ion energy distributions (IEDs) of Ar2^+ making use of a simplified kinetic model with a combination of Monte Carlo method. Several coefficients are used to realize good match between the calculated and measured results. Some important assumptions are confirmed: argon excimer ions have short lifetime, hence they are formed in a short range before the collecting electrode. The excimer ions that encounter collisions will be discarded because they turn to other ion species after they collide with argon atoms. From the calculated results some plasma parameters such as the cross section or neutral density in discharge could be evaluated.  相似文献

Recombination of Ar14+, Ar15+, Ca16+, and Ni19+ ions with electrons has been investigated at low energy range based on the merged-beam method at the main cooler storage ring CSRm in the Institute of Modern Physics, Lanzhou,China. For each ion, the absolute recombination rate coefficients have been measured with electron–ion collision energies from 0 meV to 1000 meV which include the radiative recombination(RR) and also dielectronic recombination(DR)processes. In order to interpret the measured results, RR cross sections were obtained from a modified version of the semiclassical Bethe and Salpeter formula for hydrogenic ions. DR cross sections were calculated by a relativistic configuration interaction method using the flexible atomic code(FAC) and AUTOSTRUCTURE code in this energy range. The calculated RR + DR rate coefficients show a good agreement with the measured value at the collision energy above 100 meV.However, large discrepancies have been found at low energy range especially below 10 meV, and the experimental results show a strong enhancement relative to the theoretical RR rate coefficients. For the electron–ion collision energy below 1 meV, it was found that the experimentally observed recombination rates are higher than the theoretically predicted and fitted rates by a factor of 1.5 to 3.9. The strong dependence of RR rate coefficient enhancement on the charge state of the ions has been found with the scaling rule of q3.0, reproducing the low-energy recombination enhancement effects found in other previous experiments.  相似文献

In order to investigate the propagation characteristics of linear and non-linear ion acoustic waves (IAWs) in electron–positron–ion quantum plasma in the presence of external weak magnetic field, we have used a quantum hydrodynamic model, and degenerate statistics for the electrons and positrons are taken into account. It is found that the linear dispersion relation of the IAW was modified by the externally applied magnetic field. By using the reductive perturbation technique, a gyration-modified Korteweg-de Vries equation is derived for finite amplitude non-linear IAWs. Time-dependent numerical simulation shows the formation of an oscillating tail in front of the ion acoustic solitons in the presence of a weak magnetic field. It is also seen that the amplitude and width of solitons and oscillating tails are affected by the relevant plasma parameters such as quantum diffraction, positron concentration, and magnetic field. We have performed our analysis by extending it to account for approximate soliton solution by asymptotic perturbation technique and non-linear analysis via a dynamical system approach. The analytical results show the distortion of the shape of the localized soliton with time, and the non-linear analysis confirms the generation of oscillating tails.  相似文献

We study J/ψ suppression in AB collisions assuming that the charmonium states evolve from small, color transparent configurations. Their interaction with nucleons and nonequilibrated, secondary hadrons is simulated using the microscopic model UrQMD. The Drell-Yan lepton pair yield and the J/ψ/Drell-Yan ratio are calculated as a function of the neutral transverse energy in Pb+Pb collisions at 160 GeV and found to be in reasonable agreement with existing data.  相似文献

The accelerator complex of the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) consists of a H linear accelerator (linac) and a rapid cycling synchrotron (RCS). The linac contains a Penning surface H ion source. The designed energy and the beam current of the source are 50 keV and 20 mA respectively, with a normalized root mean square (norm. rms.) emittance of 0.2π mm mrad. The manufactures and tests of the discharge chamber are in great progress. The construction of H ion source test stand has been completed, and the operation of the source is also in progress. Stable H ion beams with energy of 50 keV and current up to 50 mA are attained. Emittance measurement for the H beam is being prepared.

Nucleic acids are negatively charged biomolecules, and metal ions in solutions are important to their folding structures and thermodynamics, especially multivalent ions. However, it has been suggested that the binding of multivalent ions to nucleic acids cannot be quantitatively described by the well-established Poisson-Boltzmann(PB) theory. In this work, we made extensive calculations of ion distributions around various RNA-like macroions in divalent and trivalent salt solutions by PB theory and Monte Carlo(MC) simulations. Our calculations show that PB theory appears to underestimate multivalent ion distributions around RNA-like macroions while can reliably predict monovalent ion distributions. Our extensive comparisons between PB theory and MC simulations indicate that when an RNA-like macroion gets ion neutralization beyond a "critical" value, the multivalent ion distribution around that macroion can be approximately described by PB theory.Furthermore, an empirical formula was obtained to approximately quantify the critical ion neutralization for various RNAlike macroions in multivalent salt solutions, and this empirical formula was shown to work well for various real nucleic acids including RNAs and DNAs.  相似文献

This paper considers the coupling analysis of phased antenna array designed to excite fast wave in the ion cyclotron range of frequency. The coupling of the antenna is calculated in slab geometry. The coupling code based on the variational principle gives the self-consistent current flowing in the antenna, this method has been extended so that it can be applied to a phased antenna array. As an example, this paper analyses the coupling prosperities of a 2 × 2 phased antenna array. It gives the optimum geometry of antenna array. The fields excited at plasma surface are found to more or less correspond to the antenna current phasing.  相似文献

The rotation-vibration spectrum of (H2 )+ is computed. Radiative lifetimes of the excited states are of order 10–4 s or more. These times can be considered infinite compared to the lifetime of +. For the ion in a crystal the lifetimes are significantly decreased by interaction with polarized molecules of the lattice. Transition rates to the ground state are calculated for (H2 )+ in a hydrogen crystal. The results make it possible to interpret the experimental data from SR investigations of hydrogen, deuterium and hydrogen-deuterium mixtures.  相似文献
