SYNTHESIS OF SOME NEW HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS FROM BENZOPYRANO[2,3-c]PYRAZOL-3-ONE DERIVATIVES

The reaction of benzopyrano[2,3-c]pyrazol-3-one (1) with some active halo compounds, afforded compounds 4, 8 and 12, respectively. The cyanoethyl derivative 19 was synthesized and treated with active methylenes and sulfur or benzoylisothiocyanate and phenacyl bromide, to give compounds 24_a,b and 27. Compounds 25_a,b and 28 were obtained through the reaction of compounds 24_a,b with acrylonitrile or compound 27 with maleic anhydride. Thiation of compound 1 afforded the corresponding thio derivative 29. The reaction of 4-benzylidene-2-methyloxazolin-5-one with compounds 1 or 29 gave products 30_a,b , respectively.     

SYNTHESIS AND REACTIONS OF SOME NEW THIENO[2,3-b]-PYRIDINES AND THE ANTIMICROBIAL EFFECTS

Abstract

3,5-Dicyano-6-mercapto-4-phenylpyridin-2(1H)-one (1) was reacted with ethyl chloroacetate to give compound (II) which on reaction with hydrazine hydrate gave the corresponding hydrazide derivative (III). Acylation of (III) with acetic acid, phenylisocyanate, or phenylisothiocyanate gave different monoacyl derivatives (IV-VI). Condensation of III with aromatic aldehydes and acetylacetone gave compounds VII_a-c, VIII respectively. Compound I was reacted with chloroanilides, bromoacetone and phenacyl bromide to yield the IX-XI; these and compound II gave thieno[2,3-b]-pyridines (XU-XV) on treatment with sodium ethoxide solution. Reaction of XII with acetic anhydride gave the diacetyl derivative XVI. Hydrolysis of compound XII with sodium hydroxide gave the corresponding acid (XVII) which on treatment with acetic anhydride gave the oxazine derivative (XVIII). Reaction of oxazine compound XVIII with ammonium acetate and hydrazine hydrate gave pyrido[3′,2′:4,5] thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-4.7-dione derivative (XIX) and (XX) respectively. The N-amino derivative (XX) was reacted with 4-nitrobenzaldehyde to give the corresponding azomethine (XXI).

Significant in vitro gram-positive and gram negative antibacterial activities as well as anti-fungal effect were observed for some members of the series.     

NOVEL AND FACILE SYNTHESIS OF THIOPHENE,THIAZOLE, 2H-PYRAN-2-ONE BENZIMIDAZO[1,2-a]PYRIDINE AND PYRIDINE DERIVATIVES CONTAINING ANTIPYRINE MOIETY

Several new thiophene, thiazole, 2H-pyran-2-one, benzimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine and pyridine derivatives were synthesised from active methylene reagents, 4-chloroacetylantipyrine and enaminones as starting materials.

SOME REACTIONS OF 3-AMINO-2-CARBOETHOXY-4,6-DIMETHYLTHIENO[2,3-b]-PYRIDINE. SYNTHESIS OF SOME NEW THIENOPYRIDOPYRIMIDINES

Abstract

Thienopyridine oxazinone (1) has been prepared and explored as a precursor by its reaction with some reagents namely, ammonium acetate, aliphatic amines, aromatic amines, hydrazine hydrate, thiosemicarbazide, and ethyl glycinate to give pyridothienopyrimidines (11-VII). The pyrimidinone compound (11) was converted to the 4-chloro derivative (X) by its reaction with excess POCl₃ Interaction of the 4-chlorocompound (X) with some reagents namely, hydrazine hydrate, methyl amine, aniline, sodium thiophenolate, ethyl glycinate, thiosemicarbazide and thiourea, yielded pyridothieno-pyrimidine derivatives (XI-XVII) substituted at 4-position, respectively.     

THE REACTIONS OF HYDROXYL RADICAL WITH SOME TRANSITION-METAL COMPOUNDS CONTAINING ORGANIC MOLECULES

Abstract— Recent reports that have appeared in the literature concerning the reactions in aqueous media of hydroxyl radical with some transition-metal compounds containing bound organic molecules are discussed and experimental results on the reactions of hydroxyl radical with some platinum complex ions are presented. Emphasis is placed on the comparison of the behavior of the free ligand relative to that of the complexed and protonated forms. The occurrence of metal-ion complexation can modify to varying degrees the reactivity of organic entities towards hydroxyl radical and the subsequent behavior of the products. The influence of the metal center is considered to involve its Lewis acidity, π-bonding capabilities as well as features such as its formal oxidation state.     

REACTIONS OF HYDRAZONOYL HALIDES 391: SYNTHESIS OF SOME NEW TRIAZOLES AND 2,3-DIHYDRO-1,3,4-THIADIAZOLES

C-acyl-N-phenyllhydrazonoyl halides 1a–ghave been caused to react with 3-(aminomethylthiomethyl)-2H-chromen-2-one in the presence of triethylamine to give triazoles. Also, C-acyl-N-pyrazolylhydrazonoyl chlorides 13a, breact with alkyl carbodithioates (14or 15) a–mafforded 2,3-dihydro-1,3,4-thiadiazoles in good yields. Structures of the new compounds were elucidated on the basis of elemental analyses, spectral data, and alternative methods of synthesis whenever possible.

含苯并咪唑单元可溶性聚酰亚胺的合成和性能

合成了一种刚性芳香二胺单体3,3',5,5'-四甲基-4,4'-二胺基苯基甲苯(BDAP),与6-氨基苯基-2-氨基苯并咪唑(BIA)组成混合二胺,分别与4种商品化的二酐单体(均苯四酸二酐(PMDA)、联苯四酸二酐(BPDA)、二苯酮四酸二酐(BTDA)和二苯醚四酸二酐(ODPA))一步法缩聚合成了一系列可溶性聚酰亚胺.采用FTIR,1H-NMR,UV-Vis,DMA和TGA等测试方法对所制备的聚酰亚胺进行了表征.结果表明,所制备的聚酰亚胺具有良好的溶解性能,能够在NMP和DMAc等常规溶剂中溶解;耐热性及力学性能优良,玻璃化转变温度超过410℃,分解温度在500℃以上.

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF HETEROAROMATIC POLYMERS CONTAINING PYRIDINE MOIETIES

The progress on the molecular design, synthesis and characterizations of some kinds of pyridine-containing heteroaromatic polymers in main chain were reviewed in this paper, they would include polyimides (PIs), polypyrrolones (PPYs), poly(pyrrolone-imide)s (PPIs), and poly(pyrrolone-benzimidazone)s (PPBs) containing pyrldine moieties. The pyridine-containing polymers reported all exhibit good processability, excellent thermal properties and mechanical properties. However, the contribution of pyridine ring to polymers properties is still need to research further, the heteroarornatic polymers containing pyridine moieties have focused by more and more researchers.     

STUDIES IN THE HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS V1. SOME REACTIONS OF 5-CHLORO-2-THIOPHENESULFONYL DERIVATIVES

Abstract

The reactions of 5-chloro-2-thiophenesulfonyl chloride are described. Treatment of the sulfonyl chloride with ammonia, hydrazine hydrate, sodium azide, indole and imidazole gave the sulfonamides (5), sulfonohydrazide (4), sulfonyl azide (3), 1-(5-chloro-2-thiophenesulfonyl)indole (27) and 1-(5-chloro-2-thiophenesulfonyl)-imidazole (26), respectively. The sulfonyl chloride was reacted further with 20 aryl-and cycloalkyl-amines to give the corresponding sulfonamides (6)-(25). Attempted chlorination of the sulfonyl chloride (2) with sulfuryl chloride or bromination of the sulfonyl azide (3) with pyridinium bromide perbromide failed. However, nitration of the sulfonyl chloride (2) with fuming nitric acid gave the 4-nitro-sulfonyl chloride (28), which with sodium azide afforded the 5-chloro-4-nitro-sulfonyl azide (29). The sulfonyl azides, (3) and (29), have been reacted with triphenylphosphine, triethylphosphite, norbornene and cyclohexene. The azides reacted further with indole and 1-methylindole to give the 2-sulfonyl-iminoindolines (34)-(36). The infra-red spectra and mass spectra of some of the substituted thiophenesulfonyl derivatives are discussed.     

SYNTHESIS AND SOME REACTIONS OF 2-MERCAPTO-3,5,7-TRIPHENYLPYRIDO[2,3-d]-PYRIMIDINE-4(3H)-ONE

Abstract

2-Mercapto-3,5,7-triphenylpyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine-4(3H)-one (II) was synthesized by the interaction of ethyl-2-amino-4,6-diphenylincotinate (I) with phenyl isothiocyanate in pyridine. The reaction of II with different reagents was carried out to give some condensed heterocyclic systems.     

ACTIVATED NITRILES IN HETEROCYCLIC SYNTHESIS: NOVEL SYNTHESIS OF PYRROLO[1,2-c]IMIDAZOLE AND PYRANO[2,3-d]IMIDAZOLE DERIVATIVES

Abstract

Several new pyrrolo[1,2-ylidene ethyl cyanoacetate (lc, d) with each of (2) and (11) afforded the 5-ylidene-2-thiohydantoins (Sa, b), (Wn. b) respectively. Compounds Sn, b react with each of malononitrile and ethyl cyanoacet-ate to give the corresponding pyrroloimidazole derivatives (h,b) and (an, b) respectively. The structure of the isolated products were established by elemental analyse and spectral data studies.     

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF FLUORINATED POLYAMIDES DERIVED FROM UNSYMMETRICAL DIAMINES CONTAINING THE PHTHALAZINONE MOIETY

A novel unsymmetrical fluorinated diamine monomer with kink non-coplanar heterocyclic structures, 1,2-dihydro- 2-（4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenyo）-4-[4-（4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenoxy）phenyo]（2H）phthaoazin-1-oneo was prepared through the nucleophilic substitution reaction of 1-trifluromethyl-2-chloro-5-nitrobenzene with 1,2-dihydro-4-（4- hydroxyphenyl）（2H）phthalazin-l-one in the presence of potassium carbonate, followed by catalytic reduction with hydrazine and Pd-C. A series of new fluorinated polyarnides were synthesized by the phosphorylation polyamidation of the fluorinated diamine with various dicarboxylic acids. The prepared polymers were obtained in quantitative yields with moderately and high inherent viscosities （0.47-0.87 dL/g）. They were all amorphous and readily soluble in various polar aprotic solvents such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone （NMP）, N,N-dimethylformamide （DMF）, N,N-dimethylacctamide （DMAc）, pyridine （Py） and m-cresol at room temperature. These fluorinated polyamides have excellent thermal properties. The glass transition temperatures were all above 300℃. The 5% and 10% weight loss temperatures were in the range of 437-466℃ and 482-525℃ in nitrogen atmosphere, respectively.

以o-羟基苯乙酮、对氯硝基苯和苯甲醛为原料,通过亲核取代反应、改进的Chichibabin反应以及水合肼催化还原合成了一种新型含邻位取代单元及吡啶环的芳香二胺4-苯基-2,6-双[3-(4-氨基苯氧基)苯基]吡啶(o,p-PAPP).以N,N-二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)为溶剂,将o,p-PAPP分别与3,3',4,4'-二苯醚四羧酸二酐(ODPA)、2,2-双[4-(3,4-二羧基苯氧基)苯基]丙烷二酐(BPADA)、3,3',4,4'-二苯酮四甲酸二酐(BTDA)及均苯四甲酸二酐(PMDA)通过常规的两步法,合成了4种聚酰亚胺.用FTIR、DSC、TGA、XRD、溶解性测试、UV-Vis和荧光光谱对聚合物的结构和性能进行了表征.FTIR结果表明,所得的聚合物在1780,1720和1380cm-1左右出现了聚酰亚胺的特征吸收峰.实验所得的PI能很好地溶解于常见有机溶剂(如DMF,DMAC,DMSO,NMP,THF,CHCl3),在氮气氛中,PI的10%失重温度(T10)为444.2～467.5℃,800℃时的残余质量(Rw)为49.6%～58.3%.同时PI分子主链中的吡啶环结构使其具有良好的紫外光吸收性能,经HCl质子化后,在460 nm附近出现非常强的荧光发射峰.

含二氮杂萘酮结构聚醚酮酮的合成及表征

以１,４ 二（４ 氯代苯甲酰基）苯与４ （４ 羟基苯基） ２,３ 二氮杂萘 １ 酮单体经亲核取代反应,合成了含二氮杂萘酮结构聚醚酮酮聚合物．用ＦＴ ＩＲ、１Ｈ ＮＭＲ、ＤＳＣ、ＴＧＡ、Ｘ 射线衍射等方法对聚合物进行了表征,研究了聚合物的溶解性能．结果表明,该聚合物是一种具有高热稳定性的可溶性无规聚合物．     

SOME REACTIONS OF CHOLESTERYL N-PHENYL-PHOSPHORAMIDIC CHLORIDE AND RELATED COMPOUNDS

Abstract

Cholesteryl N-phenylphosphoramidic chloride has been converted to the corresponding phosphoramidic hydrazide and azide. The former compound was characterised by the preparation of a number of hydrazones, while the latter has been reacted with norbornene, dimethylsulphoxide, and triphenylphosphine. However, the azide did not react with decane, o-anisole, or butylamine. 17-Oxoandrost-5-ene-3β-yl N-phenylphosphoramidic chloride was prepared and was converted to the hydrazide, but a pure sample of the azide could not be isolated. Cholesteryl N-phenyl phosphoramidic triphenylphosphinimine has been reacted with eight carbonyl compounds and the structures of the products investigated. Cholesteryl N-cyclohexylphosphoramidic chloride was converted to the azide and the triphenylphosphinimine; the latter was reacted with acetone and p-nitrobenzaldehyde.

Cholesteryl phosphorodichloridate has been condensed with phenol, p-nitrophenol, and p-methoxyphenol to give the corresponding O-arylphosphorochloridates. The O-phenyl and O-p-methoxyphenyl phosphorochloridates have been converted to the corresponding azides, but the azide from the p-nitrophenyl derivative could not be isolated. The reactions of cholesteryl phosphorodichloridate with diethylamine, hydrazine, and sodium azide have also been examined; and cholesteryl phosphorodichloridothioate has been condensed with aniline and benzylamine.
