In this paper, we consider H control problem with measurementfeedback for flexible beam equation systems. The aim is to constructa finite-dimensional H controller with a given level for theflexible beam equation system. For that purpose, we first formulatethe system as an infinite-dimensional system in l2 and derivea finite-dimensional reduced-order system for the infinite-dimensionalsystem. Then, an H controller with level d less than is constructedfor the reduced-order model. The finite-dimensional controllertogether with a residual mode filter plays a role of a finite-dimensionalH controller with level for the original flexible beam equationsystem, if the order of the residual mode filter is chosen sufficientlylarge.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the problem of robust control of fluid dynamic systems in an Hsense. The system under studyis nonlinear in state and linear in inputs with parameter uncertaintiesin all entries. The controller is designed, via Hamilton–Jacobiequation and Riccati equation approaches, such that the resultingclosed-loop systems is robust stable and has a robust Hperformance. In particular, it is shown that the robust Hcontrol problemis solvable for a nonlinear system (governed by Navier–Stokes equation) in the neighbourhood of the origin if a robust Hcontrolproblem is solvable for a corresponding linearized system.  相似文献

The problem of H filtering of continuous-time systems with sampledmeasurements has been investigated. Both finite-and infinite-horizoncases have been considered. It has bas been shown that the sampled-dataH filtering problem can be solved in terms of a differentialRiccati equation with finite discrete jumps. When the systemis time-invariant with zero initial condition, and an infinitehorizon is concerned, the solution to the above problem is equivalentto a solution to a discrete-time algebraic Riccati equation.  相似文献

Given a Fornasini–Marchesini local state-spacesystem with linear varying parameters, our attention is focussedon the design of full-order dynamic output feedback controller, which guarantees the closed-loop system to be asymptoticallystable and has a prescribed disturbance attenuation performance.A sufficient condition for the existence of a desired robustoutput feedback controller is established in terms of parameterizedlinear matrix inequalities, and the corresponding controllersynthesis is cast into a convex optimization problem which canbe efficiently handled by using standard numerical software.A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectivenessof the proposed design method.  相似文献

In this paper, the l2l (energy-to-peak) performanceof the discrete-time Markovian jump linear system is investigated. The jump parameters are modelled by a discrete-time Markov process.Furthermore, we study the l2l reduced-order filteringproblem for the Markovian jump linear system. A reduced-orderfilter with the same randomly jumping parameters is proposedwhich can make the error systems with Markovian jump parametersstochastically stable with a prescribed l2lperformance.Sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) and a coupling non-convex rank constraint are derivedfor the existence of a solution to the reduced-order filteringproblems. A numerical example is given to illustrate the designprocedures.  相似文献

A generalized sampling theorem is proved for a set of functionsf that are well behaved in the frequency domain. Specifically, let W be a positive bounded integrable function, let be a reconstructionfunction, and let A denote the operation of multiplication inthe frequency domain by a bounded function A(s). Then coefficientshn (–<n<) are determined to minimize the maximalL2-error in an approximation scheme for functions f ranging over the set is the Fourier of f. Formulae are given for the minimal obtainablemaximal error, and the optimal choice (choices) of hn (–<n<)is characterized through its discrete Fourier transform .  相似文献

In this paper we give a necessary and sufficient algebraic conditionfor the approximate controllability of the following thermoelasticplate equation with Dirichlet boundary conditions wtt + 2w + = a1(x)u1 + ... + am(x)um, t 0, x , t – ß – wt = d1(x)u1 + ... + dm(x)um,t 0, x , = w = w = 0, t 0, x , where 0, ß > 0, is a sufficiently regular boundeddomain in RN, ai, di, L2 (; R), the control functions ui L2(0, t1; R); i = 1, 2, ..., m. This condition is easy to checkand is given by Rank [PjBAjPjBA2jPjB ... A3j–1jPjB] = 3j,BU=b1U1+...+bmUm,bi=[0, ai, di], Aj=[0, –2j, 0, 1, 0, –j, 0, j, –ßj]Pj, j1, where j, S are the eigenvalues of – with Dirichlet boundarycondition and Pj, S are the projections on the correspondingeigenspace.  相似文献

Identity Theorems for Functions of Bounded Characteristic   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Suppose that f(z) is a meromorphic function of bounded characteristicin the unit disk :|z|<1. Then we shall say that f(z)N. Itfollows (for example from [3, Lemma 6.7, p. 174 and the following])that where h1(z), h2(z) are holomorphic in and have positive realpart there, while 1(z), 2(z) are Blaschke products, that is, where p is a positive integer or zero, 0<|aj|<1, c isa constant and (1–|aj|)<. We note in particular that, if c0, so that f(z)0, (1.1) so that f(z)=0 only at the points aj. Suppose now that zj isa sequence of distinct points in such that |zj|1 as j and (1–|zj|)=. (1.2) If f(zj)=0 for each j and fN, then f(z)0. N. Danikas [1] has shown that the same conclusion obtains iff(zj)0 sufficiently rapidly as j. Let j, j be sequences of positivenumbers such that j< and j as j. Danikas then defines and proves Theorem A.  相似文献

Let 1 p and let X be a Banach space with a semi-normalizedstrongly asymptotic p basis (ei). If X is minimal and 1 p <2, then X is isomorphic to a subspace of p. If X is minimaland 2 p < , or if X is complementably minimal and 1 p , then (ei) is equivalent to the unit vector basis of p (orc0 if p = ).  相似文献

On hearing the shape of a bounded domain with Robin boundary conditions   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
The asymptotic expansions of the trace of the heat kernel (t)= [sum ]j=1 exp(-tj) for small positive t, where {j} j=1 arethe eigenvalues of the negative Laplacian -n = -[sum ]nk=1 (/xk)2in Rn (n = 2 or 3), are studied for a general multiply connectedbounded domain which is surrounded by simply connected boundeddomains i with smooth boundaries i (i = 1,...,m), where smoothfunctions Yi (i = 1,...,m) are assuming the Robin boundary conditions(ni + Yi) = 0 on i. Here /ni denote differentiations along theinward-pointing normals to i (i = 1,...,m). Some applicationsof an ideal gas enclosed in the multiply connected bounded containerwith Neumann or Robin boundary conditions are given.  相似文献

In the present paper a generalization of the concept of similaritycalled D similarity for infinite-demensional linear systemsis introduced. We show that this D similarity preserves thespectrum in the standard sense, and the exponential growth bound, stability, stabilizability, and detectability in the extensionsense. For the case where one of the semigroups is stronglydifferentiable at some t0 0, it is shown that D similaritypreserves the exponential growth bound and weak and exponentialstability in the standard sense. For the case where one of thesemigroups is analytic, it is shown that D similarity preservesstabilizability and detectability in the standard sense.  相似文献

Let =(n)n1 be a log concave sequence such that lim infn+n/nc>0for some c>0 and ((log n)/n)n1 is nonincreasing for some<1/2. We show that, if T is a contraction on the Hilbertspace with spectrum a Carleson set, and if ||Tn||=O(n)as n tends to + with n11/(n log n)=+, then T is unitary. Onthe other hand, if n11/(n log n)<+, then there exists a (non-unitary)contraction T on the Hilbert space such that the spectrum ofT is a Carleson set, ||Tn||=O(n) as n tends to +, andlim supn+||Tn||=+.  相似文献

In this paper we examine computation of optimal control u* ofthe exact controllability problem (referred to as the constraintproblem) governed by the following type of linear parabolicdifferential equations: (y/t) + Ay = u in Q y = 0 on y(0) = y0 on where A is the second-order elliptic differential operator, is a bounded domain in k with smooth boundary , Q = (0, T)x , = (0, T) x and T > 0. This is achieved by approximatingu* through a sequence {un} of controls corresponding to unconstrainedproblems involving a penalty function arising from the controllabilityconstraint.  相似文献

We consider the problem of finding g Mn such that where Mn is the n-dimensional subspace of the complexHilbert space L2(0, ) spanned by an n-tuple of normalized eigenvectoesof the operator , corresponding to eigenvalues. The solution is g = Pnf and Pn denotesthe orthoprojector onto Mn. From Grabowski (1991) we know thatPn can be expressed in terms of the Malmquist functions. Wegive an alternative approach, more convenient for applicationof the standard mathematical software. The problem of convergenceas n is discussed from both theoretical and numerical viewpoint. The reslts are illustrated by the problems of finding the optimaladjustment of the proportional controller stabilizing a distributedplant. The main result of this paper is the establishment of the ‘fullMüntz Theorem’ in C[0, l]. This characterizes thesequences of distinct, positive real numbers for which span{l, x1, x2, ...} is dense in C[0,1]. The novelty of this result is the treatment of the mostdifficult case when infii = 0 while supii = . The paper settlesthe L and L1 cases of the following. THEOREM (Full Müntz Theorem in Lp[0,1]). Let p [l, ].Suppose that is a sequence of distinct real numbers greater than –1/p. Then span{x0,x1, ...} is dense in Lp[0, 1] if and only if   相似文献

Let f: (Rn,0) (Rp,0) be a C map-germ. We define f to be finitely,or -, A-determined, if there exists an integer m such that allgerms g with jmg(0) = jmf(0), or if all germs g with the sameinfinite Taylor series as f, respectively, are A-equivalentto f. For any integer k, 0 k < , we can consider A' sCkcounterpart (consisting of Ck diffeomorphisms) A(k), and wecan define the notion of finite, or -,A(k)-determinacy in asimilar manner. Consider the following conditions for a C germf: (ak) f is -A(k)-determined, (bk) f is finitely A(k)-determined,(t) , (g) there exists a representative f : U Rp defined on some neighbourhood U of 0 in Rn such thatthe multigerm of f is stable at every finite set , and (g') every f' with j f'(0)=j f(0) satisfiescondition (g). We also define a technical condition which willimply condition (g) above. This condition is a collection ofp+1 Lojasiewicz inequalities which express that the multigermof f is stable at any finite set of points outside 0 and onlybecomes unstable at a finite rate when we approach 0. We willdenote this condition by (e). With this notation we prove thefollowing. For any C map germ f:(Rn,0) (Rp,0) the conditions(e), (t), (g') and (a) are equivalent conditions. Moreover, each of these conditions is equivalent to any of (ak) (p+1 k < , (bk) (p+1 k < ). 1991 Mathematics Subject Classification:58C27.  相似文献

This paper examines the effect of compressibility on the flowin the boundary layer on a semi-infinite, thermally insulatedflat plate placed at zero incidence to a uniform stream of electricallyconducting gas, with an aligned magnetic field at large distancesfrom the plate. The present discussion is limited to small values of the conductivityparameter = 4µv, and the Prandtl number is taken to beunity. The latter assumption permits a simplification of theanalysis, and the former allows the dependence of the flow onthe parameters ß = µH2/4U2 and M = U/cto beadequately illustrated without excessive computation. A seriessolution valid for small values of the conductivity parameterand for Mach numbers not too large is derived. Values of ß = 0.3 and 0.5, = 0.01 and 0.1 are consideredand for those values the skin friction decreases with increasingMach number, similar to the case when ß = 0. The analysissuggests that for larger values of ß the skin frictionmight even increase with the Mach number initially. This iscertainly the case with the tangential component of the magneticfield, which for ß = 0.5 exhibits a maximum at approximatelyunit Mach number. The reason for this behaviour lies in thefact that, in view of the temperature changes taking place inthe flow, the electrical conductivity and thereby the localvalue of can change by more than an order of magnitude. Thishas the effect of giving results which are akin to those forarbitrary large in incompressible flow even though the valueof based on the main stream gas properties remains low.  相似文献
