The Dirac optical potential for p-^14 Be elastic scattering is evaluated by the relativistic impulse approximation. Each of the real part and the imaginary part of the potential shows a pronounced “long tail” for the proton elastic scattering from halo nucleus ^14Be compared with the potentials for proton scattering from its adjacent nuclei ^12C and ^16O, which do not have halo structures. This kind of “long tail” phenomenon suggests another signature for halo nuclei.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of halo nucleus 6He on proton target were measured at 82.3 MeV/u. The experimental results axe well reproduced by optical model calculations using global potential KD02 with a reduction of the depth of real volume part by a factor of 0.7. A systematic analysis shows that this behavior might be related to the weakly bound property of unstable nuclei.  相似文献

The elastic scattering ofp-14Be system at Elab = 200 MeV is evaluated within the relativistic impulse approximation. We discuss the effects of the halo neutrons on the three observables of the elastic scattering system, such as differential cross section dσ/dΩ, analyzing power Ay and spin rotation Q. The results of the three observables of the elastic scattering of p-14Be system are compared with those of p-12C and p-16O systems at the same energy as Elab = 200 MeV. We have found that in the small angular region the Ay and Q, as well as dσ/dΩ, are quite sensitive to the nucleon density distributions on the surface of the target nucleus and offer some unique behaviors of halo nuclei.  相似文献

The reduced strong absorption distance dS and Coulomb barrier height VB are extracted from the quarter-point recipe from a series of experimental elastic scattering angle distributions. The nuclei with different binding energies are systematically studied as the projectile, including the tightly bound, weakly bound, and halo nuclei. It is found that the mean dS for halo nuclei is significantly larger than that of tightly and weakly bound nuclei. The complex behav...  相似文献

Several elastic scattering angular distributions of ~(12)C from target nuclei of A ≥39 are analyzed to extract the Woods-Saxon potential parameters with the fixed imaginary potential and Coulomb radius parameters.Using the best fitted diffuseness parameters, the correlations of the real part parameters with A_1~(1/3)+ A_2~(1/3) and incident energy are revealed, and the systematic Woods-Saxon potential parameters are presented for nucleus-nucleus interaction. The proposed potential parameters can reproduce not only the elastic scattering angular distributions induced by ~(12)C,but also many elastic scattering angular distributions induced by the projectiles other than ~(12)C,thus providing important inputs for the study of nuclear reactions of heavy-ion systems.  相似文献

One—Proton Halo in ^31Cl with Relativistic Mean—Field Theory   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1       下载免费PDF全文
We investigate proton-rich isotopes ^31,32Cl using the nonlinear relativistic mean-field model. It is shown that this model can reproduce the properties of these nuclei well.A long tail appears in the calculated proton density distribution of ^31Cl.The results of relativistic density-dependent Hartree theory show a similar trend of tail density distribution. It is strongly suggested that there is a proton halo in ^31Cl and it is indicated that there may be a proton skin in ^32Cl.The relation between the proton halo in ^31Cl and the new proton magic number is discussed.  相似文献

The differential cross sections of ^17F and ^17O elastic scattering products on ^208Pb have been measured at the Radioactive Ion Beam Line at Lanzhou (RIBLL). Two angular dispersion plots of In( dσ/ dθ ) versus 02 are obtained from the angular distribution of the elastic scattering differential cross sections. The angular dispersion plot exhibits a clear turning point for ^17F in the range of small scattering angles 6°-2° due to its exotic structure, but for ^17O, the turning point is not observed in the same angular range. The experimental results have been compared with previous data of other groups. Systematical analysis on the available data supports the above conclusion that there is an exotic behaviour of the angular dispersion plot of weakly bound nuclei with halo or skin structure as compared with that of the ordinary nuclei near stable line. Therefore the turning point of the angular dispersion plot appears at small angle for weakly bound nuclei with halo or skin structure, and can be used as a new probe to investigate the halo and skin phenomena of weakly bound nuclei.  相似文献

Elastic proton scattering from Be, C, and O isotopes has been investigated in the relativistic impulse approximation (RIA). In the calculations, the nucleon-nucleus optical potentials are obtained using ground state nuclear matter densities, which are computed using the relativistic mean field model with the FSU parameter set. The scattering observables, including differential cross section, analyzing power, and spin-rotation function, are analyzed. It is found that the scattering observables for O isotopic chains display a clear mass dependence, for instance, the minimum analyzing power shifts to a low scattering angle with increasing mass number. While for the Be isotopic chain, the emergence of a neutron halo in 14 Be breaks this trend, i.e., the minimum analyzing powers for 12 Be and 14 Be are almost the same as each other.  相似文献

For 112 target nuclei (52 elements) with proton as projectile, we calculate the reaction cross sections and elastic scattering angular distributions, as well as the X^2 values for 16 kinds of proton optical model potentials: two sets of phenomenological global optical potentials and the microscopic optical potentials proposed by Shen et al for 14 sets of Skyrme force parameters: GSI-6, SBJS, SKM, SGI-Ⅱ, SKa-b, SCOI-Ⅱ. We find that for obtaining the proton microscopic optical potential based on the nuclear matter approach with Skyrme force, SGI, SKa and SKb are the three sets of optimal Skyrme force parameters.  相似文献

We achieved a set of 9Be global phenomenological optical model potentials by fitting a large experimental dataset of the elastic scattering observable for target mass numbers from 24 to 209.The obtained 9Be global optical model potential was applied to predict elastic-scattering angular distributions and total reaction cross-sections of 8,10,11B projectiles. The predictions are made by performing a detailed analysis comparing with the available experimental data.Furthermore, these elastic scattering observables are also predicted for some lighter targets outside of the given mass number range, and reasonable results are obtained.Possible physical explanations for the observed differences are also discussed.  相似文献

We develop a method for calculation of the total reaction cross sections induced by the halo nuclei and stable nuclei. This approach is based on the Glauber theory, which is valid for nuclear reactions at high energies. It is extended for nuclear reactions at low energies and intermediate energies by including both the quantum correction and Coulomb correction under the assumption of the effective nuclear density distribution. The calculated results of the total reaction cross section induced by stable nuclei agree well with 30 experimental data within 10 percent accuracy. The comparison between the numerical results and 20 experimental data for the total nuclear reaction cross section induced by the neutron halo nuclei and the proton halo nuclei indicates a satisfactory agreement after considering the halo structure of these nuclei, which implies quite digerent mean fields for the nuclear reactions induced by halo nuclei and stable nuclei. The halo nucleon distributions and the root-mean-square radii of these nuclei can be extracted from the above comparison based on the improved Glauber model, which indicates clearly the halo structures of these nuclei. Especially,it is clear to see that the medium correction of the nucleon-nucleon collision has little effect on the total reaction cross sections, induced by the halo nuclei due to the very weak binding and the very extended density distribution.  相似文献

The effect of deuteron breakup in d-nucleus reaction is treated with the continuum discretized coupled channels (CDCC) approach, and the effects on the total reaction cross sections and elastic scattering angular distributions are studied by comparing the calculations of CDCC and spherical optical model with our global deuteron optical potential [Phys. Rev. C 73 (2006) 054605] below 200 MeV, for target nuclei ranging from ^12C to ^208Pb. The contributions from the closed channels to the total reaction and breakup cross sections, and angular distributions of elastic scattering are also seriously discussed.  相似文献

The microscopic optical potential for deuteron is obtained by folding the microscopic optical potentials of its constituent nucleons. The optical potential is used to predict the reaction cross sections and the elastic scattering angular distributions for some spherical target nuclei, and the results of theoretical calculation are compared with the experimental data available.  相似文献

The Glauber theory is used to investigate the reaction cross section of proton-rich nucleus ^23Al. A core plus a proton structure is assumed for ^23Al. HO-type density distribution is used for the core while the density distribution for the valence proton is calculated by solving the eigenvalue problem of Woods-Saxon potential The transparency function in an analytical expression is obtained by adopting multi-Gaussian expansion for the density distribution. Coulomb correction and finite-range interaction are introduced. This modified G1auber model is suitable for halo nuclei. A dominate s-wave is suggested for the last proton in ^23Al from our analysis which is possible in the calculation of relativistic mean-field theory.  相似文献

The nuclear potentials between protons and different target nuclei are calculated by using the single folding model with the density-dependent nucleon-nucleon interaction. The fusion barrier heights and positions for proton projectiles fusing with different target nuclei with masses from 51 amu to 139 amu are systematically shown, with charge numbers and root-mean-square radii of the interacting nuclei. The parameterized formulas for the fusion barrier height and position are obtained for proton projectile fusing with the different nuclei. The calculated results of parameterized formulas are compared to empirical values,as well as those of the proximity potential and AkyüzWinther(AW) potential. It is shown that the calculated results agree perfectly with theirs. The parameterized formulas can reproduce the exact barrier heights and positions for proton fusion systems.

We analyzed the 6He elastic scattering from 9Be target at 25 MeV/u. A Center of Beam (CB) method was used to calibrate the particle tracking detectors and set the reference system of the detection system. The double folding model approach was used to calculate the real part of the optical model potential. The preliminary optical model potential parameters were extracted by fitting the experimental differential elastic scattering cross sections.  相似文献

The short-range correlation between nucleons in finite nuclei is investigated in high energy protonnucleus and α-nucleus elastic scattering in the framework of Glauber multiple scattering theory without any free parameters. The effects on the p-^4He and ^4He-^12C elastic scattering, and in particular on the proton elastic scattering off hallo-like nuclei, ^6,8He, are estimated. Our calculations show that the short-range correlations play an important role in reproducing experimental data and could be also thought of as being possible origin and nature of halo-like phenomena in the nuclear structure. More accurate calculations along this line are needed.  相似文献
