In this paper, we report new results dealing with the wavelength multiplexing transmission scheme over the OM4 high modal bandwidth multimode fiber. Fiber bandwidth measurements both at 850 nm and 1300 nm clearly show the huge bandwidth/length product of this fiber. The simultaneous transmission of a high data rate baseband signal (10 GbE) at 850 nm and a radiofrequency MultiBand Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Ultra-Wide Band (band group 5-10 GHz) MB-OFDM UWB signal (480 Mbps) at 1300 nm is presented. The measurements - Bit Error Rate (BER) for the 10 GbE signal and Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) for the MB-OFDM UWB signal - that are hereby reported show safe results under the requirements of the corresponding communication standards; they give this architecture an affordable approach for home/office networking at high data rate in a joint fixed and wireless environment.  相似文献

水声信道传播时延大导致水声通信网中上行用户同步困难,因此需要接收端具备异步多用户检测能力。针对水声正交频分复用(OFDM)异步多用户系统提出一种基于滑动迭代的异步多用户接入方法,包括重叠截断、干扰消除、频域过采样、多用户信道估计与解码、以及干扰重构5个处理模块,并通过滑动迭代结构同时消除前向干扰和后向干扰影响。仿真结果表明,所提方法在不同异步到达时延,以及有、无信道估计误差下的误比特率均明显低于逐块解调异步接收算法。水池实验结果表明,滑动迭代异步接收算法在多径扩展18 ms、异步到达时延大于或等于循环前缀1.5倍时实现了两用户异步接入的可靠通信。  相似文献

In this paper, single-carrier frequency domain adaptive antenna array (SC-FDAAA) for the uplink multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmission in a cellular system is studied. By employing AAA weight control in frequency domain, the base station (BS) can suppress the multi-user interference (MUI) and therefore realize multi-user SC transmission. In addition, channel frequency selectivity can be exploited to obtain the frequency diversity (or the multi-path diversity). The frequency domain signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio (SINR) after weight control is investigated and the computational complexity of the proposed receiver is analyzed. In numerical simulations, cellular structure using the frequency reuse is assumed, and the effect of co-channel interference (CCI) is considered. The performance of the SC uplink multi-user MIMO transmission using SC-FDAAA is testified and compared with other multi-user detection schemes. The link capacity (maximum number of users/cell) and cellular link capacity (link capacity/frequency reuse factor) are also be evaluated.  相似文献

Emerging evidence indicates that orthogonal time–frequency space (OTFS) modulation is a potential candidate modulation scheme for high mobility wireless communications. However, OTFS may experience significant inter-symbol interference (ISI) and inter-Doppler interference (IDI) in the receiver. In this paper, we propose a soft decision feedback turbo equalization for OTFS transmission over delay-Doppler channels to jointly combat both interferences. A novel block decision feedback equalization (BDFE) algorithm is constructed using the band feature of the channels in the delay-Doppler domain. The feedforward and feedback filters are designed by the delay-time channels coefficients. According to the designed filter, an equivalent system model is employed to allow turbo equalization. The posterior probability is established using the soft prior information and feedback filter, and then fed back to the channel decoder as external information. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in improving the bit error rate (BER) performance and combat various interference. Numerical simulations are finally provided to justify the validity of the proposed scheme in improving the bit error rate (BER) performance and combating various interference.  相似文献

本文对单载波频域均衡(SC-FDE)中的信道和噪声估计进行研究,理论分析了形成误码率平台的可能原因,提出了基于Chu序列的联合信道时频域响应和噪声功率估计算法.利用水声信道响应的稀疏特性和门限确定信道能量集中区域,进行信道估计的去噪处理和噪声功率计算.借助于水声射线模型对所提出的算法进行了仿真,分析了噪声估计对SC-FDE性能的重要影响.仿真结果表明,所提出的信道和噪声估计算法可以有效减缓或消除SC-FDE中的误码率平台.  相似文献

Orthogonal Time Frequency Space modulation (OTFS) has evolved as an astounding modulation technique for high-speed communication in a doubly dispersive channel. In any wireless communication system, channel estimation and equalization are essential at the receiver to recover the transmitted data. To accomplish this for the emerging OTFS based systems, a modified embedded pilot-based channel estimation technique and low complexity feedback equalization algorithm for integer Doppler shifts in the delay-Doppler domain are proposed in this paper. Our channel estimation scheme exploits embedded-pilot arrangement, and the symbol equalization relies on the Interference calculation and its mitigation iteratively. To achieve this we contemplate a prudent arrangement of symbols in the OTFS frame in such a way that the Guard symbols prevent the interference between data symbols and the pilot symbol at the receiver. Two distinct lumps of received data of the same OTFS frame will be engaged in channel estimation and data detection. An analytical expression of the theoretical Cramer Rao Lower Bound (CRLB) is derived and plotted for the proposed channel estimation scheme. The attained simulation results for Bit-Error-Rate (BER) under the proposed scheme show a significant error rate improvement over the Minimum Mean Squared Error (MMSE) equalization algorithm. Further, a lower computational complexity is also achieved in comparison with modified MMSE detection and MP detection algorithms.  相似文献

The effect of phase noise in multiple-input–multiple-output systems employing orthogonal frequency division multiplexing is analyzed in a realistic scenario where channel estimation is not perfect, and the phase noise effects are only partially compensated. In particular, the degradation in terms of SNR is derived and the effects of the receiver and channel parameters are considered, showing that the penalty is different for different receiver schemes. Moreover it depends on the channel characteristics and on the channel estimation error. An analytical expression is used to evaluate the residual inter-channel interference variance and therefore the degradation. The effects of multipath and antenna diversity are shown to be different for the two types of linear receivers considered, the zero-forcing scheme and the minimum mean squared error receiver.  相似文献

We propose a mixture-Gaussian model for a cognitive radio channel to analyze the interplay between the interference in the system and the degrees-of-freedom (DOF), i.e., the average number of channel uses per transmission frame, used by the secondary user (SU) for communications in the long run. In contrast to the conventional studies, we assume that the SU receiver (SU-RX) does not precisely know whether the primary-user (PU) transmitter is on or off. Due to this assumption the resulting interference channel is mixture-Gaussian. Our objective is to find the optimal sensing threshold and sensing time for the signal detector used by the SU transmitter (SU-TX). Our formulation of the optimization problem reflects the trade-off between SU-TX’s DOF for communications and that for detection. Both the DOFs affect PU’s interference to SU, and SU’s interference to PU. The latter interference causes PU performance degradation, which is kept within tolerable range as a constraint. As a further contribution, we define interference regimes for SU performance on the basis of PU transmission power level. We also address the scenario when PU receiver uses the nearest neighbor decoding while wrongly anticipating that the channel is Gaussian. Finally, we demonstrate that even if SU-TX’s signal detector performs suboptimally, SU can still achieve the optimal detector’s performance in the high interference regime by adjusting the sensing parameters.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with joint multiuser detection and multichannel estimation (JDE) for uplink multicarrier code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA) systems in the presence of frequency selective channels. The detection and estimation, implemented at the receiver, are based on a version of the expectation maximization (EM) algorithm and the space-alternating generalized expectation–maximization (SAGE) which are very suitable for multicarrier signal formats. The EM-JDE receiver updates the data bit sequences in parallel, while the SAGE-JDE receiver reestimates them successively. The channel parameters are updated in parallel in both schemes. Application of the EM-based algorithm to the problem of iterative data detection and channel estimation leads to a receiver structure that also incorporates a partial interference cancelation. Computer simulations show that the proposed algorithms have excellent BER end estimation performance.  相似文献

水声信道的严重双扩特性极大地限制了水声高速通信的稳健性。针对近程高速水声通信技术的需求,该文基于水声毫米波频段,提出了一种基于超奈奎斯特发射技术及高阶调制技术的单载波的水声毫米波通信技术。而超奈奎斯特发射技术以及高阶调制给接收机带来了极大的挑战:一是超奈奎斯特发射技术引入了严重的符号间干扰,二是高阶调制系统的符号检测对信道估计的精度要求很高。针对以上问题,该文提出了一种基于迭代信道估计技术的迭代软反馈DFE接收机技术。仿真实验表明:采用128QAM高阶调制时,在较为严重的多途衰落信道条件下,采用所提出的接收机可以在15 dB时实现无误码传输。信道水池试验证明:当通信带宽为300 kHz,通信符号率为300k符号/秒且采用64QAM调制时,在发射平台慢速运动的条件下可以实现900 kbps的净数据率,其相应的频谱利用率高达6 Bits/s/Hz。  相似文献

Improving accuracy in wireless localization and ranging is a challenging task which often demands an increase in the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Impulsive ultra-wideband (UWB) technology is a promising signaling alternative that is capable of high-resolution ranging with minimal cost on SNR. Unfortunately, typical UWB time-of-arrival (ToA) estimators are complicated and perform poorly in the low SNR environment. In this paper, we propose a regularized least squares (RLS) approach with wavelet denoising to improve the estimator accuracy at low SNR. Our algorithm estimates the ToA as a by-product of the RLS channel estimator based on a thresholding technique, which is simple and can enable fast, on-the-fly, accurate ToA estimation applicable to real-time application. In addition to devising a threshold selection framework based on the constant false alarm (CFA) criterion, we demonstrate the robustness of our algorithm first by computer simulation, then applying it to a realistic situation of range estimation via the UWB impulse radio. In both cases, our algorithm is shown to supersede both high-resolution algorithms and energy detector in ToA estimation and computational complexity when the sampling rate is available. Furthermore, the CFA criterion is shown to improve the estimator performance as compared to the fixed threshold selection strategy.  相似文献

Ultra-Wideband (UWB) is an emerging wireless technology with high data rates and low transmission power, which is very suitable for high-speed, short-range multimedia applications such as the Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) indoor distribution. However, human body shadowing is very common in any office or household environment, and can dramatically affect the UWB link performance when the significant propagation paths are blocked. In this paper, we build an analytical model for the Body Shadowing Effect (BSE) on indoor UWB channels based on the IEEE 802.15.3a standard and the channel reciprocity property. The BSE model and the reciprocity property of UWB channels in both the baseband and the radio frequency band are validated with extensive measurement. We further apply the extended BSE model in the analysis of application-layer Quality-of-Service (QoS) metrics for IPTV services, and derive the packet loss rate of the IPTV streams analytically and obtain the admission region to ensure the QoS. The work is of particular importance for the performance evaluation of UWB networks and the service provisioning for IPTV indoor distribution.  相似文献

As a result of densification, the performance of the wireless networks has become highly interference-limited and energy inefficient. To overcome this problem, interference mitigation techniques such as Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC) can be used to decode multiple packets simultaneously at the receiver. In this context, we analyze a SIC-based Slotted Aloha (SIC-SA) Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol for wireless networks. We derive expressions for packets decoding probability and optimal transmission probability of the nodes of the SIC-SA MAC protocol. Our derivation is based on the order statistics of Independent and Identical/non-Identical exponentially distributed received-signal-powers from the nodes under the Rayleigh channel condition. Throughput, delay, and energy efficiency of the SIC-SA MAC protocol have been derived and validated against simulation. The effect of path loss exponent, SINR threshold, and the number of nodes on the performance of SIC-SA have been studied. The performance of SIC-SA in a network of nodes distributed randomly according to the Poisson Point Process has been analyzed. Extension of our analysis to Power Domain Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) has been demonstrated. We also analyzed the impact of imperfect estimation of channel state information and imperfect SIC at the receiver. Results show an improvement in performance metrics of SIC-SA over the traditional Slotted Aloha.  相似文献

Deep Learning (DL)–based wireless communication systems have the potential to improve the conventional functions and current architecture of communication systems. In this paper, we propose a novel DL-based channel estimation scheme for multiple-input multiple-output filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (MIMO-FBMC/OQAM) systems called deep bidirectional gated-recurrent unit (BiGRU) scheme. This scheme can easily be applied to a single-input single-output (SISO) system. The proposed scheme is divided into two stages: offline and online. The network is first trained in the offline stage. The prediction of channel information and estimation of the channel matrix using the trained network is then performed in the online stage. The simulation results in terms of the normalized mean square error (NMSE) and bit error rate (BER) demonstrate that, under different time-varying channel models, the proposed DL scheme significantly improves the channel estimation performance of FBMC for single and multiple antennas compared to conventional interference approximation method (IAM) channel estimation methods.  相似文献

针对室外无线信道视距(line of sight,LOS)/非视距(non-line of sight,NLOS)传输环境下的车到车(vehicular-to-vehicular,V2V)通信系统,本文提出了一种基于标准街道散射的统计信道模型,其移动发射机(mobile transmitter,MT)与移动接收机(mobile receiver,MR)处于运动状态,街道两旁分布的散射体固定.由几何模型出发又引入了一种随机的参考信道模型,其散射体有无穷多个,均以平行于街道两侧的散射条纹形式均匀分布在三维(three dimensional,3D)空间的一个二维(two dimensional,2D)矩形内部.在室外街道通信环境下,模型推导了散射信道中发射角(angle of departure,AOD)以及到达角(angle of arrival,AOA)的概率密度函数(probability density functions,PDFs)解析式;研究了多普勒功率谱密度(power spectral density,PSD)及其时间自相关函数(autocorrelation function,ACF);分析了模型多普勒参数以及街道散射体等因素对V2V通信系统性能的影响.与城市、农村的测量信道对比分析,表明本模型仿真的统计特性符合理论与实际,拓宽了室外V2V无线通信信道建模的研究.为评估室外V2V通信系统的传输特性、仿真无线通信系统提供了有力的研究工具.  相似文献

Owing to the superior performance of generalized frequency division multiplexing (GFDM), in terms of enhanced spectral efficiency and lower out-of-band radiations, it is considered as a potential replacement of traditional orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) for next generation wireless communication systems. However, non-orthogonal pulse shaping in GFDM gives rise to intrinsic self-interference complicating the receiver design. Moreover, its extension to multi-input multi-output (MIMO) designs for spatial diversity and enhanced reliability is also not straightforward as overlapping of transmitted symbols in time and frequency hinders the extension of conventional diversity techniques to MIMO GFDM. In this work, we consider a multi-antenna GFDM decentralized communication system and present a generic framework to achieve spatial transmit diversity along with a low complexity transceiver design. We extend our proposal by presenting a novel multi-antenna preamble that helps not only in acquisition of robust time and frequency synchronization but also in reliable estimation of time-varying frequency selective channels. Performance evaluation over realistic 3GPP simulation scenarios, confirms the attainment of full diversity order along with superior preamble-based time–frequency synchronization and channel estimation performance as compared to state of the art.  相似文献

基于远场时间反演, 从信号处理角度对亚波长阵列的超分辨率聚焦特性进行了理论分析. 提出了一种新型的微结构刻蚀亚波长阵列, 通过时间反演聚焦实验表明, 该阵列具有远场超分辨聚焦特性, 各单元间信道相互独立. 将这种亚波长阵列应用在时间反演镜天线上, 通过实验验证了可以获得更好的超分辨率聚焦效果. 所提出的亚波长天线阵列对多天线超宽带无线通信具有潜在的应用价值. 关键词: 时间反演 亚波长 天线阵列 超分辨率  相似文献

用光反馈半导体激光器产生混沌超宽带(UWB)信号, 搭建了混沌UWB光载无线通信链路, 实现了360, 720 Mbit/s和1.44 Gbit/s三种不同传输速率下混沌UWB脉冲信号的生成和传输. 在未经任何色散补偿处理的情况下, 1.44 Gbit/s的混沌UWB信号在经过10 km单模光纤和0.6 m无线链路传输后, 在天线接收端被成功解调. 由于混沌UWB信号输出的随机性, 对应的UWB信号频谱中未出现任何离散的谱线. 这意味着利用混沌UWB信号实现的光载无线通信链路, 可以完全避免离散谱线对系统传输性能的劣化.  相似文献
