Constructing new differentially 4-uniform permutations from the inverse function

Two new families of differentially 4-uniform permutations over ${\mathbb{F}}_{2^{2m}}$ are constructed by modifying the values of the inverse function on some subfield of ${\mathbb{F}}_{2^{2m}}$ and by applying affine transformations on the function. The resulted 4-uniform permutations have high nonlinearity and algebraic degree. A family of differentially 6-uniform permutations with high nonlinearity and algebraic degree is also constructed by making the modification on an affine subspace of ${\mathbb{F}}_{2^{2m}}$.     

Stable Ulrich bundles on Fano threefolds with Picard number 2

In this paper, we consider the existence problem of rank one and two stable Ulrich bundles on imprimitive Fano 3-folds obtained by blowing-up one of ${\mathbb{P}}^3$, Q (smooth quadric in ${\mathbb{P}}^4$), $V_3$ (smooth cubic in ${\mathbb{P}}^4$) or $V_4$ (complete intersection of two quadrics in ${\mathbb{P}}^5$) along a smooth irreducible curve. We prove that the only class which admits Ulrich line bundles is the one obtained by blowing up a genus 3, degree 6 curve in ${\mathbb{P}}^3$. Also, we prove that there exist stable rank two Ulrich bundles with $c_1=3H$ on a generic member of this deformation class.     

Rank two aCM bundles on the del Pezzo fourfold of degree 6 and its general hyperplane section

In the present paper we completely classify locally free sheaves of rank 2 with vanishing intermediate cohomology modules on the image of the Segre embedding ${\mathbb{P}}^2\times {\mathbb{P}}^2?{\mathbb{P}}^8$ and its general hyperplane sections.Such a classification extends similar already known results regarding del Pezzo varieties with Picard numbers 1 and 3 and dimension at least 3.     

On the irreducible action of PSL(2,R) on the 3-dimensional Einstein universe

In this paper, we study the irreducible representation of $\text{PSL}(2,\mathbb{R})$ in $\text{PSL}(5,\mathbb{R})$. This action preserves a quadratic form with signature $(2,3)$. Thus, it acts conformally on the 3-dimensional Einstein universe $\mathbb{E}{\mathrm{in}}^{1,2}$. We describe the orbits induced in $\mathbb{E}{\mathrm{in}}^{1,2}$ and its complement in $\mathbb{R}{\mathbb{P}}^4$. This work completes the study in [2], and is one element of the classification of cohomogeneity one actions on $\mathbb{E}{\mathrm{in}}^{1,2}$[5].     

Decay of solutions to a new Hall–MHD system in R3

This paper discusses the large-time behavior of solutions for a new Hall–MHD system in ${\mathbb{R}}^3$. Using the Fourier splitting method, we establish the upper bound of the time-decay rate in $L^2({\mathbb{R}}^3)$ for weak solutions.
