A new, highly selective, and sensitive technique has been developed for the detection of Hg2+ using singled-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and two kinds of oligonucleotides. The fluorescence of the thymine-rich single stranded DNA labeled with dye (the probe ssDNA) was effectively quenched by the SWNTs. In the presence of a target DNA (rich T-T mismatched with probe), the tightness of the DNA wrapping around the SWNTs was loosened. Since binding of Hg2+ turned the T-T mismatches to stable T-Hg2+-T base pairs, and the binding rate of DNA and the nanotube was lower than that of DNA hybridization, it induced the release of DNA molecules from the SWNTs, and this resulted in a remarkable increase of fluorescence compared to that of the DNA-SWNTs. The assay exhibited a dynamic response range for Hg2+ from 4.52 × 10?8 M to 7.21 × 10?7 M with a detection limit of 10 nM. 相似文献

Supramolecular structures of organic molecules on planar nanocarbon surfaces, such as highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG), have been extensively studied and the factors that control them are generally well-established. In contrast, the properties of supramolecular structures on curved nanocarbon surfaces like carbon nanotubes remain challenging to predict and/or to understand. This paper reports an investigation into the first study of the supramolecular structures of 5,15-bisdodecylporphyrin (C12P) on chiral, concentrated single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs; with right-handed helix P- and left-handed helix M-) surfaces using STM. Furthermore, the study is the first of its kind to experimentally assign the absolute-handedness chirality of SWNTs, as well as to understand their effect on the supramolecular structures of organic molecules on their surfaces. Interestingly, these SWNT enantiomers resulted in supramolecular structures of opposite chirality based on the handedness chirality. With molecular modelling, we predicted the absolute-handedness chirality of SWNTs, before demonstrating this experimentally. 相似文献

以单壁碳纳米管作为电极材料,基于减压过滤和电聚合方法制备了一种薄膜型一氧化氮(NO)电化学传感器。扫描电镜、红外光谱和电化学交流阻抗表征表明,减压过滤可以制备出导电性好、电分析性能优良的薄膜电极,而罗丹明B能通过电聚合在其表面形成高比表面的纳米敏感结构。这种薄膜型电化学传感器对NO具有灵敏的电化学响应,其安培氧化电流与NO浓度在7.2×10-8~2.5×10-5mol/L范围内呈良好的线性关系,检出限(S/N=3)达3.6×10-8mol/L。将该传感器紧贴在麻醉豚鼠的肝脏表面,成功实现了肝组织细胞在L-精氨酸刺激下NO释放的实时监测。 相似文献

Infrared spectroscopy is used to study trapped and physisorbed CO2 in single-walled carbon nanotube bundles (SWNTs) synthesized by the HiPco process. CO2 is entrapped within the SWNTs by acid oxidation of the unpurified sample followed by vacuum heating to 700 K. The trapped CO2 has a single nu3 mode at 2327 cm-1, is stable during temperature cycling from 77 to 700 K, and remains after venting to room air. CO2 physisorption studies show a nu3 mode at 2330 cm-1 for the as-received HiPco samples, 2340 cm-1 for the acid-oxidized sample, and 2327 and 2340 cm-1 for the oxidized sample after vacuum heating. The sites responsible for the infrared peaks of the physisorbed and trapped species are discussed. 相似文献

The structural analysis of the adsorption of NO monolayers on Pt(111) from solution has been explored by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) techniques. The monolayers were formed from acid solutions saturated with NO gas as well and from nitrite solutions in sulfuric acid. Results by both techniques indicate a maximum coverage of 0.2 monolayers as well as the presence of NO molecularly adsorbed on the surface with different orientations. The voltammetric oxidation of NO gives rise to two peaks separated in the voltammogram by 50 mV. This value is in agreement with the theoretical value of 9 kJ corresponding to the difference between different adsorption sites. A mechanism for the surface mediated oxidation process from adsorbed NO to NO2 under potential control is proposed. 相似文献

Nitric oxide can be oxidized to NO−2 (then to NO−3) and reduced to N2O at a glassy carbon electrode modified with the film of poly(neutral red). When the modified electrode is further coated with a thin Nafion film, the interference of NO−2 can be almost thoroughly eliminated, and the electrode can be employed to detect nitric oxide. 相似文献

To understand in-depth the nature of the catalyst and the growth mechanism of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) on a newly developed silica catalyst, we performed this combined experimental and theoretical study. In situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations revealed that the active catalyst for the SWCNT growth is solid and amorphous SiO(x) nanoparticles (NPs), suggesting a vapor-solid-solid growth mechanism. From in situ TEM and chemical vapor deposition growth experiments, we found that oxygen plays a crucial role in SWCNT growth in addition to the well-known catalyst size effect. Density functional theory calculations showed that oxygen atoms can enhance the capture of -CH(x) and consequently facilitate the growth of SWCNTs on oxygen-containing SiO(x) NPs. 相似文献

使用半经验PM3方法, 对(5, 5)椅型单壁碳纳米管的H和F吸附做一系列计算, 模型采用含120C, 130C, 140C的两端开口的(5, 5)管, 吸附原子从2到30个。计算结果表明F与H有类似的吸附规律, 但是, 在各种吸附构型的稳定性上, F吸附比H吸附的差别较为显著。H, F的吸附排列在50 %覆盖度下更倾向于沿管轴的锯齿状连续排列, 而非垂直于管轴的环状排列, 这些吸附排列结构与各纳米管骨架模型前线轨道拓扑图存在对应关系。 相似文献

一氧化氮(NO)是一种普遍存在的生理信号分子,但利用NO作为触发方法来精细调节仿生聚合物的自组装行为的研究却很少.本工作报道一种独特的具有一氧化氮(NO)反应特性的新型pH响应双亲水性嵌段共聚物(doublehydrophilicblockcopolymer,DHBC),其中NO可以自发地触发聚(寡聚乙二醇甲醚甲基丙烯酸酯)-嵌段-聚(NO响应性基元-共-7-硝基苯并呋咱衍生物)(POEGMA-b-P(APUEMA-co-NBD))双亲水嵌段共聚物,分别在酸性和中性环境中发生自组装和形态转变.在引入荧光团之后,这些转变还可以和NO存在下光致诱导电子转移过程被阻断导致荧光增强相关联,从而提供了观察细胞内NO的机会. 相似文献

Abstract Many recent studies of near infrared (NIR) dyes have shown their usefulness as probes for many analytical applications. Since these dyes have absorption maxima between 600 and 1000 nm, a region of low interference by most bioorganic molecules, their use as a label for biomolecules is practical. We report here the first study to evaluate the use of near infrared dyes as a quantitative label for immunoassays. A near infrared dye was derivatized with an isothiocyanate functional group and conjugated to goat anti-human immunoglobulins (GAHG). After purification by G-25 size exclusion chromatography, the conjugate was used in an immunoassay to detect and quantitate human immunoglobulins (Ig), the antigen for GAHG. Polystyrene microtiter plate wells were coated with varying amounts of human Ig. The Ig-coated wells were then exposed to an excess of NIRD-GAHG, and were subsequently read and quantitated by laser diode spectroscopy. An identical immunoassay was performed which utilized an enzyme(peroxidase)-labeIed GAHG for comparison. From these studies, the effectiveness of the NIR dye-conjugate as an accurate and sensitive quantitative probe for immunoassays was evaluated. 相似文献

The synthesis and properties of the new fluorescent nitric oxide cheletropic trap (FNOCT) 14 , designed for the trapping and quantification of nitric oxide (NO) production in chemical and biological systems, is described (Scheme 3). The dicarboxylic acid 14 and the corresponding bis[(acetyloxy)methyl] ester derivative 15 of the FNOCT contain a 2‐methoxy‐substituted phenanthrene group as fluorophoric unit. The fluorescence of the reduced NO adduct of this FNOCT (λexc 320 nm, λem 380 nm) is pH‐independent. Trapping experiments were carried out in aqueous buffer solution at pH 7.4 with nitric oxide being added as a bolus as well as being released from the NO donor compound MAHMA NONOate (= (1Z)‐1‐{methyl[6‐(methylammonio)hexyl]amino}diazen‐1‐ium‐1,2‐diolate), indicating a trapping efficiency of ca. 50%. In a biological application, nitric oxide was scavenged from a culture of lipopolysaccharide‐stimulated rat alveolar macrophages. Under the applied conditions, a production of 11.1 ± 1.5 nmol of NO per hour and per 105 cells was estimated. 相似文献

报道了电化学聚合 1 ,1 0 -菲络啉合钴 ( )化学修饰电极的制备 ,对 NO的响应范围及机理作了初步的探讨。研究发现 :用电化学方法聚合制备的该电极涂加Nafion后对 NO的检测有高的灵敏度和好的选择性 ;NO的浓度在 4.2× 1 0 - 5~ 2 .4× 1 0 - 7mol/L范围内氧化电流与浓度呈良好的线性关系 ,检出限达 4.8× 1 0 - 8mol/L;生物体内常见的物质如 NO- 2 、NO- 3、抗坏血酸、多巴胺、葡萄糖、L-精氨酸等物质不干扰测定。该修饰电极可望用于 NO的在体实时检测 相似文献

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a vital endogenous gaseous transmitter molecule involved in the regulation of various physiological and pathological processes in living biosystems. In order to investigate the biological function of CO, many technologies have been developed to monitor the level of endogenous CO in biosystems. Among them, the fluorescence detection technology based on the fluorescent probe has the advantages of high sensitivity, excellent selectivity, simple operation, especially non-invasive damage to biological samples, and the possibility of real-time in situ detection, etc., which is considered to be one of the most effective and applicable detection techniques. Therefore, in the last few years, a lot of work has been carried out on the design, synthesis and in vivo fluorescence imaging studies of CO fluorescent probes. Furthermore, using fluorescent probes to detect the changes in CO concentrations in living cells and tissues as well as in organisms has been one of the hot research topics in recent years. However, it is still a challenge to rationally design CO fluorescent probe with excellent optical performance, structural stability, low background interference, good biocompatibility, and excellent water solubility. Therefore, this review focuses on the research progress of CO fluorescent probes in the detection mechanism and biological applications in recent years. However, this popular and leading topic has rarely been summarized comprehensively to date. Thus, the research progress of CO fluorescent probes in recent years is reviewed in terms of their design concept, detection mechanism, and their biological applications. In addition, the relationship between the structure and performance of the probes was also discussed. More significantly, we hope that more excellent optical properties fluorescent probes for gaseous transmitter molecule CO detection and imaging will overcome the current problems of high biotoxicity and limited water solubility in future. 相似文献

Novel nitric oxide (NO) responsive monomers (NAPMA and APUEMA) containing o‐phenylenediamine functional groups have been polymerized to form NO‐responsive macromolecular chains as truly biomimetic polymers. Upon exposure to NO—a ubiquitous cellular signaling molecule—the NAPMA‐ and APUEMA‐labeled thermoresponsive copolymers exhibited substantial changes in solubility, clearly characterized by tuneable LCST behavior, thereby inducing self‐assembly into nanoparticulate structures. In the present work, a fast, relatively cheap, and green analytical strategy to identify and quantify the fraudulent (or voluntary) addition of a drug (alprazolam, the API of Xanax®) to an alcoholic drink of large consumption, namely gin and tonic, was developed using coupling near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) and chemometrics. The approach used was both qualitative and quantitative as models were built that would allow for highlighting the presence of alprazolam with high accuracy, and to quantify its concentration with, in many cases, an acceptable error. Classification models built using partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) allowed for identifying whether a drink was spiked or not with the drug, with a prediction accuracy in the validation phase often higher than 90%. On the other hand, calibration models established through the use of partial least squares (PLS) regression allowed for quantifying the drug added with errors of the order of 2–5 mg/L. 相似文献
