There are many generalizations of the classical Boolean bent functions. Let G, H be finite groups and let X be a finite G-set. G-perfect nonlinear functions from X to H have been studied in several papers. They are generalizations of perfect nonlinear functions from G itself to H. By introducing the concept of a (GH)-related difference family of X, we obtain a characterization of G-perfect nonlinear functions on X in terms of a (GH)-related difference family. When G is abelian, we prove that there is a normalized G-dual set \(\widehat{X}\) of X, and characterize a G-difference set of X by the Fourier transform on a normalized G-dual set \({{\widehat{X}}}\). We will also investigate the existence and constructions of G-perfect nonlinear functions and G-bent functions. Several known results (IEEE Trans Inf Theory 47(7):2934–2943, 2001; Des Codes Cryptogr 46:83–96, 2008; GESTS Int Trans Comput Sci Eng 12:1–14, 2005; Linear Algebra Appl 452:89–105, 2014) are direct consequences of our results.  相似文献

In this paper,we observe a special kind of continuous functions on graphs.By estimating the integrals of these functions,we prove that there are no sensitive commutative group actions on graphs.Furthermore,we consider a 1-dimensional continuum composed of a spiral curve and a circle and show that there exist sensitive homeomorphisms on it,which answers negatively a question proposed by Kato in 1993.  相似文献

In this note, we study the torsion of extensions of finitely generated abelian by elementary abelian groups. When the action is trivial , we make a specific choice of a 1-cochain for a vanishing multiple of the cohomology class defining the extension and use it to completely describe the torsion of central extensions. As an application, one gets that, under the assumption of trivial action on homology, Zpr may act freely on (S1)k if and only if r?k, providing an alternative proof of the main theorem in [Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 352 (6) (2000) 2689-2700] for central extensions.  相似文献

We prove a general theorem on transitive topological group actions that give rise to almost ?ech-complete homogeneous spaces. This theorem implies the known open mapping theorems whose proof is a Baire category argument. As an application, we prove the uniform generalized Schönflies theorem generalizing Wright (1969) [19, Theorem 3].  相似文献

A topological dynamical system is n-sensitive,if there is a positive constant such that in each non-empty open subset there are n distinct points whose iterates will be apart from the constant at least for a same moment.The properties of n-sensitivity in minimal systems are investigated.It turns out that a minimal system is n-sensitive if and only if the n-th regionally proximal relation Q_n contains a point whose coordinates are pairwise distinct.Moreover,the structure of a minimal system which is n-sensitive but not(n 1)-sensitive(n≥2)is determined.  相似文献

Among analytic actions of reductive groups on projective varieties, we characterize the algebraic ones by the existence of fixed points for one-parameter subgroups. This applies to the problem of lifting the action of a compact Lie group on a projective manifold to a line bundle.

We consider Cayley graphs Γ over dihedral groups, dihedrants for short, which admit an automorphism group G acting regularly on the arc set of Γ. We prove that, if D 2n GAut(Γ) is a regular dihedral subgroup of G of order 2n such that any of its index 2 cyclic subgroups is core-free in G, then Γ belongs to the family of graphs of the form \((K_{n_{1}}\otimes\cdots\otimes K_{n_{\ell}})[K_{m}^{\mathrm{c}}]\), where 2n=n 1???n ? m, and the numbers n i are pairwise coprime. Applications to 1-regular dihedrants and Cayley maps on dihedral groups are also given.  相似文献

Minimal, strongly proximal actions of locally compact groups on compact spaces, also known asboundary actions, were introduced by Furstenberg in the study of Lie groups. In particular, the action of a semi-simple real Lie groupG on homogeneous spacesG/Q, whereQG is a parabolic subgroup, are boundary actions. Countable discrete groups admit a wide variety of boundary actions. In this note we show that ifX is a compact manifold with a faithful boundary action of some locally compact groupH, then (under some mild regularity assumption) the groupH, the spaceX, and the action split into a direct product of a semi-simple Lie groupG acting onG/Q and a boundary action of a discrete countable group.
