We report the results of form factors, charge radii and decay constants of both light and heavy flavoured pseudoscalar mesons in a QCD inspired quark model. We use the quantum mechanical perturbation theory and discuss its limitations in the present problem. Several predictions are also made for bottom and top flavours.  相似文献

We investigate the weak leptonic decays of light and heavy pseudoscalar mesons in a relativistic quark model of independent quarks. We perform a static calculation of the decay constantf M purely on grounds of simplicity. In order to minimize the possible uncertainty in the static calculation, we estimate the ratios of the decay constants which are found to be in good agreement, in the heavy flavor sector, with the predictions of other models available in the literature and existing experimental data. However, there is a noticeable discrepancy in the current prediction for pion decay constant which demonstrates the inherent limitations of the static approximation in the study of non-strange light mesons.  相似文献

The decays of narrow light vector mesons into pseudoscalar mesons and dileptons are calculated to leading order in a recently proposed scheme which treats pseudoscalar and vector mesons on equal footing. Since all required parameters have been determined by other reactions the presented approach gains predictive power for the considered processes. The decay of the ω-meson into pion and dimuon agrees reasonably well with the available experimental data concerning form factor, single-differential decay width and partial decay width. As well do the partial decay width of the ω-meson into a pion and a dielectron and of the ?-meson into an η-meson and a dielectron. The decay properties of the ω-meson into η-meson and dimuon or dielectron and of the ?-meson into η-meson and dimuon are predicted.  相似文献

We study the branching ratios of D+→D0e+ν,DS+→D0e+ν,BS0→B+e-ν,DS+→D+e-e+ and BS0→B0e-e+ rare semileptonic decay processes,which are induced by decays of light quarks,the heavy quarks remain unchanged.The branching ratios of these decay processes are estimated in the heavy quark limit and with SU(3) flavor symmetry.We find that the decay rates are very tiny in the framework of the Standard Model.We also estimate the sensitivities of the measurements of these rare decays at the future experiments,such as BES-Ⅲ,super-B and LHC-b.Observations of these decays may shed some light on new physics beyond the standard model.  相似文献

In the framework of relativistic harmonic confinement model for quarks and antiquarks, the masses of S- and P-wave mesons and pseudoscalar decay constants from light flavour to heavy flavour sectors are computed. The residual two-body Coulomb interaction and the spin-dependent interaction of the confined one gluon exchange effects (COGEP) such as spin-spin and spin-orbit interactions are perturbatively incorporated with the confinement energy to get the respective vector-pseudoscalar meson mass differences. Here we employ the same parametrization and model parameters as used in a recent study of low-lying hadron masses and leptonic decay widths. The results are being compared with the values obtained from other theoretical models and the experimental values.  相似文献

The decay properties of the D and D s mesons are computed in a nonrelativistic phenomenological quark-antiquark potential of the type V (r) =-4 3 α s r+ Ar ν with different choices of ν.Numerical method to solve the Schrdinger equation has been used to obtain the spectroscopy of qQ mesons.The numerically obtained radial solutions are employed to obtain the decay constant and leptonic decay widths.It has been observed that predictions of the ground state masses and the decay widths are consistent with other model predictions as well as with the known experimental values.  相似文献

We calculate the strong coupling constants of light pseudoscalar mesons with heavy baryons within the light cone QCD sum rules method. It is shown that sextet–sextet, sextet–antitriplet and antitriplet–antitriplet transitions are described by one universal invariant function for each class. A comparison of our results on the coupling constants with the predictions existing in literature is also presented.  相似文献

We study the possible tetraquark interpretation of light scalar meson states a0(980), f0(980), κ,σ within the framework of the non-relativistic potential model. The wave functions of tetraquark states are obtained in a space spanned by multiple Gaussian functions. We find that the mass spectra of the light scalar mesons can be well accommodated in the tetraquark picture if we introduce a three-body quark interaction in the quark model. Using the obtained multiple Gaussian wave functions, the decay constants of tetraquarks are also calculated within the "fall apart" mechanism.  相似文献

The static properties and semileptonic decays of ground-state doubly heavy baryons are studied in the framework of a non-relativistic quark model. Using a phenomenological potential model, we calculate the ground-state masses and magnetic moments of doubly heavy Ω and Ξ baryons. In the heavy quark limit, we introduce a simple form of the universal Isgur-Wise function used as the transition form factor and then investigate the exclusive \begin{document}$ b \rightarrow c $\end{document} semileptonic decay widths and branching fractions for \begin{document}$ \dfrac{1}{2}\rightarrow \dfrac{1}{2} $\end{document} baryon transitions. Our obtained results are in agreement with other theoretical predictions.  相似文献

Using an operator product expansion (OPE) in the inverse of the heavy quark massM Q and a dispersive approach, we rederive theB andB * couplings and the Isgur-Wise function predicted by the infinite mass effective theory (IMET). We find that, at the subtraction pointM Q and using VDM for the spectral function, these observables are governed by the universal light quark condensate. We also find that the corrections induced by finite values ofM c andM b are large and are due to the splitting b between the ground state and its radial excitation. We review the determinations of the different decay constants, couplings and masses from QCD spectral sum rules (QSSR). Forf B andf D , we conclude the optimum average:f B =(1.59±0.09±0.27)f andf D =(1.31±0.12)f , where the main error is due to the quark mass, while the first one inf B is due to the non-perturbative terms and to the choice of the continuum thresholdt c from the onset of sum rule variable stability until thet c -stability regions. We also find that the vector coupling V satisfies approximately the IMETM Q 3/2 mass dependence scaling law, whilef P obeys in units of GeV:f P/f(4.6±0.4)M Q –1/2 (1–1.56/M Q +0.88/M Q 2 ), forM Q M c . We also predict the flavour independence:M P -M Q 0.6-0.7 GeV andM V -M Q 0.7-0.8 GeV of the mass differences between the mesons and the corresponding quark. Finally we find that theBDev e form factorf +(0)(0.55±0.10) deviates from the naive expectation (f +(0)=1).  相似文献

The charge form factor of the 6Li nucleus is considered on the basis of its cluster structure. The charge density of 6Li is presented as a superposition of two terms. One of them is a folded density and the second one is a sum of the 4He and deuteron densities. Using the available experimental data for 4He and deuteron charge form factors, a satisfactory agreement of the calculations within the suggested scheme is obtained with the experimental data for the charge form factor of 6Li, including those in the region of large transferred momenta.   相似文献

We compute the charm drag and diffusion coefficients in a hot pion gas, such as is formed in a heavy ion collision after the system cools sufficiently to transit into the hadron phase. We fully exploit heavy quark effective theory (with both D and D mesons as elementary degrees of freedom during the collision) and chiral perturbation theory, and employ standard unitarization to reach higher temperatures. We find that a certain friction and shear diffusion coefficients are almost p2-independent at a fixed temperature which simplifies phenomenological analysis.At the higher end of reliability of our calculation, , we report a charm relaxation length , in agreement with the model estimate of He, Fries and Rapp.The momentum of a 1 GeV charm quark decreases about 50 MeV per fermi when crossing the hadron phase.  相似文献

Summary Total atomic incoherent-scattering differential cross-sections were determined experimentally for 59.5 keV gamma-rays in Ti, Ni, Zn, Se, Mo, Ru, Cd, Sn, Te, Yt, W and Pb at 120° scattering angle using Ge(Li) detector. The background correction and detection efficiency are also included in the study. The experimental values have been compared with those estimated on the basis of the non-relativistic Hartree-Fock wave functions. Good agreement is observed between theory and experiment.  相似文献

Angular distributions of pious and kaons produced in heavy ion collisions at the low-energy end of high energies (1-2 A GeV) have been investigated by using a multisource ideal gas model. The model covers the expansions and movements of the emission sources, and it is related to the collective flows. By using the analytic expression and the Monte Carlo method, the azimuthal and polar angle distributions of mesons are calculated by the model and compared with the experimental data of the KaoS Collaboration.  相似文献
