In this paper, we investigate a new type of generalized derivations associated with Hochschild 2-cocycles which is introduced by A.Nakajima (Turk. J. Math. 30 (2006), 403–411). We show that if U is a triangular algebra, then every generalized Jordan derivation of above type from U into itself is a generalized derivation.  相似文献

Let R be a 2-torsion free ring and L be a Lie ideal of R. In this paper we initiate the study of generalized derivations on Lie ideals associate with Hochschild 2-cocycles and prove that every generalized derivation associate with a Hochschild 2-cocycle on L is a generalized derivation on L under certain conditions.  相似文献

We study structures of Hochschild 2-cocycles related to endomorphisms and introduce a skew Hochschild 2-cocycle. We moreover define skew Hochschild extensions equipped with skew Hochschild 2-cocycles, and then we examine uniquely clean, Abelian, directly finite, symmetric, and reversible ring properties of skew Hochschild extensions and related ring systems. The results obtained here provide various kinds of examples of such rings. Especially, we give an answer negatively to the question of H. Lin and C. Xi for the corresponding Hochschild extensions of reversible (or semicommutative) rings. Finally, we establish three kinds of Hochschild extensions with Hochschild 2-cocycles and skew Hochschild 2-cocycles.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We determine the second cohomology groups of Lie algebras of generalized Witt type which are some Lie algebras defined by Passman and Jordan, more general than those defined by Dokovic and Zhao, and slightly more general than those defined by Xu. Among all the 2-cocycles, there is a special one we think interesting. Using this 2-cocycle, we define the so-called Virasoro-like algebras. Then we give a class of their representations.  相似文献

We introduce non-degenerate solutions of the Yang–Baxter equation in the setting of symmetric monoidal categories. Our theory includes non-degenerate set-theoretical solutions as basic examples. However, infinite families of non-degenerate solutions (that are not of set-theoretical type) appear. As in the classical theory of Etingof, Schedler, and Soloviev, non-degenerate solutions are classified in terms of invertible 1-cocycles. Braces and matched pairs of cocommutative Hopf algebras (or braiding operators) are also generalized to the context of symmetric monoidal categories and turn out to be equivalent to invertible 1-cocycles.  相似文献

On Lie group manifolds, we consider right-invariant magnetic geodesic flows associated with 2-cocycles of the corresponding Lie algebras. We compute the Hochschild, cyclic, and periodic cyclic homology groups of algebras of families of Laurent complete symbols on manifolds with corners. We show in particular that the spectral sequence associated with Hochschild homology degenerates at E2 and converges to Hochschild homology. As a byproduct, we identify the space of residue traces on fibrations by manifolds with corners. In the process, we prove some structural results about algebras of complete symbols on manifolds with corners.  相似文献

We devote to the calculation of Batalin–Vilkovisky algebra structures on the Hochschild cohomology of skew Calabi–Yau generalized Weyl algebras. We first establish a Van den Bergh duality at the level of complex. Then based on the results of Solotar et al., we apply Kowalzig and Krähmer's method to the Hochschild homology of generalized Weyl algebras, and translate the homological information into cohomological one by virtue of the Van den Bergh duality, obtaining the desired Batalin–Vilkovisky algebra structures. Finally, we apply our results to quantum weighted projective lines and Podleś quantum spheres, and the Batalin–Vilkovisky algebra structures for them are described completely.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notion of generalized representation of a 3-Lie algebra, by which we obtain a generalized semidirect product 3-Lie algebra. Moreover, we develop the corresponding cohomology theory. Various examples of generalized representations of 3-Lie algebras and computation of 2-cocycles of the new cohomology are provided. Also, we show that a split abelian extension of a 3-Lie algebra is isomorphic to a generalized semidirect product 3-Lie algebra. Furthermore, we describe general abelian extensions of 3-Lie algebras using Maurer-Cartan elements.  相似文献

In a previous joint paper of the author with A.I. Generalov and S.O. Ivanov, the Hochschild cohomology algebra of quaternionic-type algebras from the family Q(2ℬ)1 over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 2 was calculated. In this paper, the Hochschild cohomology groups of algebras from this family over an algebraically closed field of characteristic different from 2 are calculated. As a corollary, the additive structure of the Hochschild cohomology of algebras of type Q(2 $ A $ A ) over a field of characteristic not 2 is described.  相似文献

We define the notion of Connes-von Neumann spectral triple and consider the associated index problem. We compute the analytic Chern-Connes character of such a generalized spectral triple and prove the corresponding local formula for its Hochschild class. This formula involves the Dixmier trace for II von Neumann algebras. In the case of foliations, we identify this Dixmier trace with the corresponding measured Wodzicki residue.  相似文献

We compute the Hochschild cohomology of any block of q-Schur algebras. We focus on the even part of this Hochschild cohomology ring. To compute the Hochschild cohomology of q-Schur algebras, we prove the following two results: first, we construct two graded algebra surjections between the Hochschild cohomologies of quasi-hereditary algebras because all q-Schur algebras over a field are quasi-hereditary. We introduce and investigate the properties of Hochschild cohomology of algebras in an abelian monoidal category M. We show that the second Hochschild cohomology group of an algebra in M classifies extensions of A up to an equivalence. We characterize algebras of Hochschild dimension 0 (separable algebras), and of Hochschild dimension ≤1 (formally smooth algebras). Several particular cases and applications are included in the last section of the paper.  相似文献
