研究了阈下信号在含噪声的Hodgkin-Huxley神经元单向耦合系统中的传输特性.结果表明,各单元中均存在随机共振现象,可见噪声有助于提高信号的检测和传输;另外,耦合实现了信号的传输,且随着耦合强度的增强信号的传输效率增加,在耦合强度达到某一程度时两神经元实现了有时延的一致放电;并且接收元的信噪比最优值处的噪声强度随着耦合强度的提高而减小,最终与驱动元的一致;另外在耦合强度过强时,接收元出现过耦合放电,但是最终会被不断增强的噪声抑制,此现象有助于解释神经元的自放电及神经系统的自调节.研究表明噪声和耦合在 关键词: Hodgkin-Huxley神经元模型 随机共振 噪声 单向耦合系统  相似文献

In the paper a new formulation for sound transmission by coupled structures with special application to flanking transmission is presented. As distinct from other approaches in which the couplings are considered to be similar, this method treats each type of coupling specifically: the mechanical/mechanical coupling is rigorously treated; the mechanical/acoustic coupling is considered to be weak, this hypothesis being generally admissible when air is the acoustic medium fluid. The formulation proceeds from the general to the specific; in this way, it is easier to measure the effect of the hypothesis introduced. The theoretical procedure for defining the transmissions leads to an experimental method in which measured data of the energy and spectral densities of the forces is used. The application of this method to the case of sound transmission in buildings was carried out to serve as an example. The proportions of the energy transmitted by the dividing wall and the flanking walls were calculated to diagnose the situation and thereby to improve the insulation between the rooms. An interactive computer program is being proposed and will be available to users.  相似文献

噪声广泛存在于生物神经系统中,对系统功能具有重要作用.采用神经元二维映射模型构建一个复杂神经网络,由多个小世界子网络构成,研究了Gaussian白噪声诱导的随机共振现象.研究发现,只有合适的噪声强度才能使神经网络对输入刺激信号的频率响应达到峰值.另外,网络结构对系统随机共振特性有重要影响.在固定的耦合强度下,存在一个最优的局部小世界子网络结构,使得整个系统的频率响应最佳.  相似文献

The simplified computational models of high-voltage transmission tower-line system under out-of-plane and in-plane vibrations are presented due to seismic excitations in this paper. The equations of motion are derived and the computer program is compiled to obtain the earthquake responses of the coupled system. To verify the rationality of the proposed approaches, the shaking-table experiments of the coupled system of transmission lines and their supporting towers are carried out and the results indicate that the errors of theoretical and testing results of systemic seismic responses are within the acceptable arrange in engineering area. Based on these studies, a simplified analysis method is proposed to make the seismic response calculation of coupled tower-conductor system faster and more effective.  相似文献

Chaos synchronization and message transmission of a mutually coupled system consisting of two semiconductor lasers (SLs) and a partially transparent mirror (PTM) in between are investigated theoretically. Analytical results show that two types of chaos synchronization schemes, named as isochronal synchronization (IS) and leader/laggard synchronization (LLS), can be achieved by adjusting the reflectivity and position of PTM. By establishing SIMULINK model, numerical simulations illustrate that as the PTM is positioned at the center of two lasers, IS is available when the reflectivity of PTM is moderate. The LLS is achieved when the reflectivity of PTM equals to 0.5, which means feedback strength equals to coupling strength. Its lag time is just determined by the difference of feedback delay time. The investigations of mutual chaos pass filtering (MCPF) effects and the secure chaotic communication simulations indicate that IS allows real-time bidirectional message transmission on a public-channel, while LLS can achieve higher security chaotic communication by using its lag time as cryptography key. The demonstrated system can be used as a rudiment of array chaos communications system.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the influence of the frequency-dependent connection on the signal transmission in a system of two interacting pulsed neural oscillators. The system is a model of two neurons with synaptic connection having the synaptic-plasticity feature, i.e., synaptic-parameter variation as a function of the frequency characteristics of the signal. It is shown that plastic connection can control the signal-transmission efficiency depending on the pulse-repetition rate and ensures stable synchronization modes of the pulse trains with different ratios between the frequencies of the output and input pulses. Analytical estimates for the parameter ranges corresponding to generation of the pulse response at the detector neuron depending on the pulse-repetition rate at the oscillator neuron were obtained.  相似文献

浪致辐射应力及浪致混合效应, 作为海洋上层两种重要的物理过程, 由于当前理论中关于其分层效应及计算公式中的误差还不是非常清楚, 目前还没有在浪流耦合模式中同时考虑. 本文将一种基于浪致辐射应力及浪致混合效应的参数化方案加入由浪(WAVEWATCH Ⅲ)和流模式(POM)组成的耦合模式中. 以台风"格美"(2006)为天气背景, 进行了四组数值试验. 结果表明: 浪致混合效应加强了混合层的湍流, 加大了动量及热量向下传递率, 但对表面流场的规律性改变不明显. 浪致辐射应力传递表面动量通量, 同时, 规律性地改变了水平流场. 当同时考虑两种物理过程时, 其效果叠加. 海流作为一种重要的动力因子, 对有效波高的高度和分布有显著影响, 使得动量转移, 有效波高增高. 模拟时次的第48 h, 流矢量差值的近惯性震荡以及顺时针旋转, 可能是台风靠近时浪流耦合效应加强的信号.  相似文献

By the intracellular calcium ionic minimal model proposed by Berridge, we investigated the collective response of two-dimensional (N×N) coupled cell systems to the external stimulation using numerical simulation methods. With a coupled intensity fixed and an appropriate coupled cell number chosen, the kinetic system size resonance was discovered. At the same time, it was found that the system size responding to the external stimulation for different coupled intensities transferred too, especially when the coupled intensity increased, the range of the corresponding system size extended. These phenomena illustrate that the coupled cell number and the coupled intensity can play constructive roles in noisy coupled systems, by which the biology system would probably improve its capability to respond to the external stimulation.  相似文献

Evanescently coupled resonance in surface plasmon enhanced transmission   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
The optical transmission through subwavelength holes in metal films can be enhanced by several orders of magnitude by enabling interaction of the incident light with independent surface plasmon (SP) modes on either side of the film. Here, we show that this transmission is boosted by an additional factor of 10 when the energies of the SP modes on both sides are matched. These results, confirmed by a three-dimensional theoretical analysis, give a totally new understanding of the phenomenon of SP enhanced transmission. It is found that the holes behave like subwavelength cavities for the evanescent waves coupling the SPs on either side of the film. In this unusual device, the reflection at either end of the cavity is provided by the SP modes which act as frequency dependent mirrors.  相似文献

Novel multidimensional NMR experiments rely on modified time-domain sampling schemes to provide significant savings of experimental time. Several approaches are based on the coupling of evolution times resulting in a reduction of the dimensionality of the recorded spectra, and a concomitant saving of experimental time. We present a consistent and general tool, called EVOCOUP, for the analysis of these reduced dimensionality spectra. The approach is flexible in the sense that the input can consist of various forms of reduced dimensionality spectra, that any piece of information can be removed (provided enough information is left), e.g., signals undetectable due to poor signal-to-noise or covered by artifacts, and that it can be applied to spectra involving any number of nuclei. The use of a general optimization procedure and an appropriate target function provides for a robust approach with well-defined results and ensures optimal use of redundant information normally present in the input. Spectral overlap in the directly detected dimension is resolved in a fully automated manner, avoiding the assessment of signal quality and its use in combinatorial trials. The positions of all peaks in a corresponding full-dimensional spectrum are obtained without need for reconstruction of this spectrum. In a systematic analysis of a complete spectrum recorded for the 14 kDa protein azurin and involving five different nuclei, only four spin systems were missed and no false spins systems were detected.  相似文献

Scattering from a rough ocean bottom is described numerically with a two-way coupled-mode formalism that contains scattering effects to all orders and provides an exact solution to the wave equation. Both scattered field and direct blast components are computed within the formalism framework. A comparison of the scattered component solution from the coupled mode with the Born approximation (BA) solution for scattering from a rough bottom Pekeris waveguide shows that the BA predicts correctly the scattered field levels but not detailed structure. The transition from direct blast to scattered field dominance is identified in the total field time series.  相似文献

Although the invention of the metamaterials has stimulated the interest of many researchers and possesses many important applications, the basic design idea is very simple: composing effective media from many small structured elements and controlling its artificial EM properties. According to the effective-media model, the coupling interactions between the elements in metamaterials are somewhat ignored; therefore, the effective properties of metamaterials can be viewed as the “averaged effect” of the resonance property of the individual elements. However, the coupling interaction between elements should always exist when they are arranged into metamaterials. Sometimes, especially when the elements are very close, this coupling effect is not negligible and will have a substantial effect on the metamaterials’ properties. In recent years, it has been shown that the interaction between resonance elements in metamaterials could lead to some novel phenomena and interesting applications that do not exist in conventional uncoupled metamaterials. In this paper, we will give a review of these recent developments in coupled metamaterials. For the “metamolecule” composed of several identical resonators, the coupling between these units produces multiple discrete resonance modes due to hybridization. In the case of a “metacrystal” comprising an infinite number of resonators, these multiple discrete resonances can be extended to form a continuous frequency band by strong coupling. This kind of broadband and tunable coupled metamaterial may have interesting applications. Many novel metamaterials and nanophotonic devices could be developed from coupled resonator systems in the future.  相似文献

The model of stochastic filter effect is built in soliton transmission system, the influence is studied of the stochastic filter effect on soliton transmission system. The results show: the stochastic filter effect leads to the time jitters in arrival, and reduces the capacity of soliton transmission system. The transmission coefficient of very low energy electrons ( ? 10 eV) normally incident on (111) epitaxial films of Cu and Ag on W(110) is modulated by interference between scattering from the vacuum/metal and metal/metal interfaces. Comparison with calculations of free-electron scattering from a one-dimensional potential model, in which grading of the metal/metal interface is represented by a smoothing of the potential step, indicates that this interface is abrupt within approximately one layer spacing. We obtain a value of 11.0 (8.0) ± 1.0 eV for the inner potential of Cu (Ag) and mean free path lengths of 39 ± 8 A? at an energy of 7.0 eV relative to the Fermi energy and 29 ± 11 A? at 9.0 eV for Cu, and 25 ± 10 A? at 7.5 eV for Ag. Work function values are obtained by the field emission retarding potential technique. We investigate the effects of the surface potential barrier, inelastic scattering and surface roughness, and evaluate the validity of the one-dimensional model presented.  相似文献
