Ab initio calculation of the total cross section for the reactions 4He(γ, p)3H and 4He(γ, n)3He is presented, using state-of-the-art nuclear forces. The Lorentz integral transform (LIT) method is applied, which allows exact treatment of the final state interaction (FSI). The dynamic equations are solved using the effective interaction hyperspherical harmonics method. In this calculation of the cross sections the three-nucleon force is fully taken into account, except in the source term of the LIT equation for the FSI transition matrix element. 相似文献

The yield of the4He(, p)3H reaction has been studied in a bremsstrahlung beam of photons with a maximum energy of 450 MeV. The measurements were made on an experimental setup consisting of a total absorption Cerenkov gamma spectrometer and a helium streamer chamber. A kinematic analysis is made of the angular distributions of the disintegration products of the4He nucleus to study the mechanism of inelastic photoproduction of neutral pions. The relatively high event density in the region of small proton-triton separation angles is attributable to the quasielastic mechanism of the reaction in which pion photoproduction is accompanied by excitation of the4He nucleus.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 9, pp. 51–56, September, 1989. 相似文献

Cross sections and analyzing powers for the radiative capture of polarized protons by tritium have been measured at energies of 227, 300, and 375 MeV. The cross-section results are in good accord with data taken for the inverse photodisintegration reaction assuming detailed balance which indicates there is no violation of time-reversal invariance. The experimental results are compared with distorted wave impulse approximation calculation and it is found that the inclusion of meson exchange current effects is important in this energy range. 相似文献

The 3He(4He, γ)7Be and 3H(4He, γ)7Li reactions are studied in an extended two-cluster model which contains α + h/t and 6Li + p/n clusterizations. We show that the inclusion of the 6Li + p/n channels can significantly change the zero-energy reaction cross sections, S(0), and other properties of the 7Be and 7Li nuclei, like the quadrupole moments Q. However, the results agree with the known correlation trend between S(0) and Q. Moreover, we demonstrate that the value of the zero-energy derivatives of the astrophysical S-factors are more uncertain than currently believed.

There exists significant disagreement in the magnitude of the low-energy region of the 14N(γ, n) cross section as measured by three different methods: direct neutron detection, induced activity, and neutron time of flight. This paper reports two measurements of this reaction cross section, one from threshold at 16.5 MeV using an activation method, and the other from threshold to 15.5 MeV by directly detecting the emitted neutrons. We have measured the 4He(e, ep)3H reaction at missing momenta of 130-300 MeV/c using the three-spectrometer facility at the Mainz microtron MAMI. Data were taken in perpendicular kinematics to allow us to determine the response function RLT and the asymmetry term ATL. The reaction cross section for 7Li(p, α)4He was obtained from Ec.m. = 25 to 873 keV corresponding to the temperature range T = (0.033 to 6.8) × 109 K. The data are in fair agreement with R-matrix calculations. Constraints drawn on the universal baryon density from the abundance of 7Li remain essentially unchanged by the present data. 相似文献

Excitation functions have been measured for the reaction 39K(α, p)42Ca over the energy range 4.5–9.0 MeV. Cross sections have been extracted from the data for individual proton groups and for aggregates of proton groups. These are compared with statistical-model calculations based on global optical model parameters. The overall agreement is good to within a factor of 1.5. The data and the statistical-model results are used in calculations of thermonuclear reaction rates for temperatures of astrophysical interest. 相似文献

The (2)H(d,p)(3)H, (2)H(d,n)(3)He, and (2)H(d,γ)(4)He reactions are studied at low energies in a multichannel ab initio model that takes into account the distortions of the nuclei. The internal wave functions of these nuclei are given by the stochastic variational method with the AV8' realistic interaction and a phenomenological three-body force included to reproduce the two-body thresholds. The obtained astrophysical S factors are all in very good agreement with the experiment. The most important channels for both transfer and radiative capture are identified by comparing to calculations with an effective central force. They are all found to dominate thanks to the tensor force. 相似文献

In this work, the program Cindy was modified to calculate the formation cross section of each energy level of residual nucleus 181W resulting from the reaction 181Ta(p,nγ)181W. The concerned cross sections calculated at proton energy Ep=4.5-8.5 MeV agreed well with experimental results. The influence of the spin cut-off parameter in the energy level density model on the cross section was studied. The obtained results show that the influence of spin cut-off is obvious for lower energy levels. 相似文献

The radiative capture cross sections for the 3He(α,γ)7Be and 3H(α,γ)7Li reactions are calculated in the fully microscopic fermionic molecular dynamics approach using a realistic effective interaction that reproduces the nucleon-nucleon scattering data. At large distances bound and scattering states are described by antisymmetrized products of 4He and 3He/3H ground states. At short distances the many-body Hilbert space is extended with additional many-body wave functions needed to represent polarized clusters and shell-model-like configurations. Properties of the bound states are described well, as are the scattering phase shifts. The calculated S factor for the 3He(α,γ)7Be reaction agrees very well with recent experimental data in both absolute normalization and energy dependence. In the case of the 3H(α,γ)7Li reaction the calculated S factor is larger than available experimental data by about 15%. 相似文献

A high resolution magnetic pair spectrometer for medium energy photons has been used for studies of the exclusive (p, e+e−) and (p, γ) reactions on deuterium at 98 and 176 MeV. The (p, e+e−) cross sections, obtained at 40° and 80°, are compared with the corresponding data for the (p, γ) reaction measured with the same apparatus. At small virtual photon masses the (p, e+e−) cross sections show significant enhancement over what is expected from model calculations, a behaviour which has earlier been observed also for the 11B(p, e+e−)12C reaction. 相似文献

The y-rays and protons from an Ed = 20 keV deuteron beam incident on a D-Ti target were measured. A branching ratio of the 2H(d,T)4He reaction versus the 2H(d,p)aH reaction of F.v/l'p = (1.06+ 0.34) x 10-7 has been obtained, and the astrophysical S factor of the 2H(d,T)aHe reaction at the center of mass energy Ecru ≈ 7 keV of (6.0+2.4) x 10-8 keV.b was deduced. 相似文献

The possibility of separating, with the aid of photoemulsion, channels of the reaction 12C(γ, n 3He)2α that involve the formation of 7Be and 8Be intermediate nuclei in excited states is studied. The 2H(d, γ)4He capture reaction and the 2H(d, p)3H and 2H(d, n)3He transfer reactions at very low energies are studied in an extended microscopic cluster model with a realistic nucleon–nucleon force. We calculate several “size-like” 8B observables within the microscopic three-cluster model and study their potential constraints on the zero-energy astrophysical S17(0) factor of the 7Be(p,γ)8B reaction. We find within our three-cluster model that a simultaneous reproduction of the experimental data for the 8B radius and quadrupole moment and of the 8B8Li Coulomb displacement energy implies S17(0) = (23–25) eV b. 相似文献
