Existence of Solutions to Generalized Vector Variational-Like Inequalities

This paper deals with some existence theorems for generalized vector variational-like inequalities with set-valued mappings in topological vector spaces. The results presented in this paper generalize and improve some previously known results in the literature.

An entire function and its derivatives sharing a polynomial

In this paper, we study the growth of solutions of a first-order linear differential equation and that of a second-order linear differential equation. From this we obtain some uniqueness theorems of a nonconstant entire function and its first derivative having the same fixed points with the same multiplicities. The results in this paper also improve some known results. Some examples show that the results in this paper are best possible.     

Subordination and superordination results for analytic functions with respect to symmetrical points

The theory of symmetric functions has many applications in the investigation of fixed points, estimation of absolute values of some integrals and obtaining the results of the type of Cartan’s uniqueness theorem. In this paper, we solve some differential subordinations and superordinations involving analytic functions with respect to the symmetric points and also derive some sandwich results under certain assumptions on the parameters involved. The various results presented in this paper are shown to apply to yield the corresponding (new or known) results for many simpler function classes.     

Dynamic analysis of an impulsive differential equation with time-varying delays

An impulsive differential equation with time varying delay is proposed in this paper. By using some analysis techniques with combination of coincidence degree theory, sufficient conditions for the permanence, the existence and global attractivity of positive periodic solution are established. The results of this paper improve and generalize some previously known results.

Existence and multiplicity of positive periodic solutions to functional differential equations with impulse effects

This paper deals with a new existence theory for single and multiple positive periodic solutions to a kind of nonautonomous functional differential equations with impulse actions at fixed moments by employing a fixed point theorem in cones. Easily verifiable sufficient criteria are established. The paper extends some previous results and reports some new results about impulsive functional differential equations.     

G-度量空间中两对非相容映象的几个新的公共不动点定理

在G-度量空间的框架下,利用自映象对的非相容性和(Ag)型R-弱交换性条件,在既不要求空间的完备性,也不要求映象连续的条件下,建立了一类?-压缩条件下的4个映象的几个新的公共不动点定理,此定理在很大程度上改进和发展了已有文献的相关结果.     

Stability analysis for variational inequality in reflexive Banach spaces

This paper is devoted to the stability analysis in variational inequality. We obtain some stability results for variational inequality with both the mapping and the set that are perturbed in reflexive Banach spaces, provided that the mappings are pseudomonotone in the sense of Karamardian. The stability is also discussed for the Minty variational inequality as the mappings are properly quasimonotone. The results in this paper generalized some known results in this area.     

On Grushin’s equation

The paper deals with nonlinear problems for equations of Grushin type. We prove some nonexistence results via Pokhozhaev’s identity. In the rest of the paper we prove some results on smoothness near the boundary of eigenfunctions by using an explicit formula for fundamental solutions and the Kelvin transform for the operator.     

On variational inequalities for fuzzy mappings

This paper presents some results of variational inequalities for fuzzy mappings in locally convex Hausdorff topological vector spaces. As an example of applications we utilize the results to study the existence of fixed points for some kind of fuzzy mappings. The results given in this paper generalize some recent results.

This paper presents some new fixed point theorems for fuzzy mappings. The results given in this paper improve and extend some recent results.     

Maximal element with applications to Nash equilibrium problems in Hadamard manifolds

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to study the existence of maximal elements with applications to Nash equilibrium problems for generalized games in Hadamard manifolds. By employing a KKM lemma, we establish a new maximal element theorem in Hadamard manifolds. As applications, some existence results of Nash equilibria for generalized games are derived. The results in this paper unify, improve and extend some known results from the literature.     

Equivalent Conditions of Asymptotics for the Density of the Supremum of a Random Walk in the Intermediate Case

This paper obtains some equivalent conditions about the asymptotics for the density of the supremum of a random walk with light-tailed increments in the intermediate case. To do this, the paper first corrects the proofs of some existing results about densities of random sums. On the basis of the above results, the paper obtains some equivalent conditions about the asymptotics for densities of ruin distributions in the intermediate case and densities of infinitely divisible distributions. In the above studies, some differences and relations between the results on a distribution and its corresponding density can be discovered.      

Lyapunov-type inequalities for a class of higher-order linear differential equations

In this paper, we obtain some Lyapunov-type inequalities for a class of higher-order linear differential equations. The results of this paper generalize and improve some earlier results on this topic.     

Analytic Functions with Negative Coefficients and Differential and Integral Operators

In this paper integral properties of some analytic functions with negative coefficients from certain classes of functions defined using Ruscheweyh differential operator are studied. The obtained results are sharp and they are improvement of some known results.     

The Mackey–Glass model of respiratory dynamics: Review and new results

Since the celebrated Mackey–Glass model of respiratory dynamics was introduced in 1977, many results on its qualitative behavior have been obtained, including oscillation, stability and chaos. The paper reviews some known properties and presents new results for more general models: equations with time-dependent parameters, several delays, a positive periodic equilibrium and distributed delays. The problems considered in the paper involve existence, positivity and permanence of solutions, oscillation and global asymptotic stability. In addition, some general approaches to the study of nonlinear nonautonomous scalar delay equations are outlined. The paper generalizes and unifies existing results and provides an outlook on further studies.     

Lyapunov-type inequalities for a class of higher-order linear differential equations with anti-periodic boundary conditions

In this paper, we obtain some new Lyapunov-type inequalities for a class of higher-order linear differential equations with anti-periodic boundary value condition, the results of this paper are new and generalize and improve some early results in the literature.
