 以I/II类角度失谐三倍频方案为例,详细讨论了在高强度三次谐波转换过程中入射基频光的位相扰动和振幅调制对三倍频光位相扰动的影响,定量分析了基频光和三倍频光的位相扰动之间的变化关系。模拟结果表明,三倍频光的位相扰动幅度近似为基频光的三倍;入射基频光的位相分布对三倍频光的影响比振幅调制的影响更加明显,但是当入射功率密度较大时,基频光的振幅调制对三倍频光位相分布的影响明显增大。  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to determine by a singular perturbation approach the dynamic response of a harmonically forced system experiencing a pitchfork bifurcation. The model of an extensible beam forced by a harmonic excitation and subject to an axial static buckling is space-discretized by a Galerkin approach and studied by the Normal Form Method for different values of equation parameters influencing the nonlinear dynamic behavior like damping coefficient, load amplitude and frequency. A relevant issue in the perturbation methods is the concept of small and zero divisors which are related to the possibility to build a transformation that simplifies the original studied problem, i.e. to obtain the Normal Form, by eliminating as much as possible nonlinearities in the equations. For nonconservative systems, like structural damped systems, there are no conditions in the prior literature that define what “small” means relatively to a divisor. In the present paper some conditions about the order of magnitude of the divisors with respect to the perturbation entity are given and related to some physical parameters in the governing equations in order to estimate the relevance of some nonlinear effects.  相似文献

Electromagnetic interactions are discussed in the context of the Klein-Gordon fermion equation. The Mott scattering amplitude is derived in leading order perturbation theory and the result of the Dirac theory is reproduced except for an overall factor of sixteen. The discrepancy is not resolved as the study points into another direction. The vertex structures involved in the scattering calculations indicate the relevance of a modified Klein-Gordon equation, which takes into account the number of polarization states of the considered quantum field. In this equation the d’Alembertian is acting on quaternion-like plane waves, which can be generalized to representations of arbitrary spin. The method provides the same relation between mass and spin that has been found previously by Majorana, Gelfand, and Yaglom in infinite spin theories.  相似文献

Electroglottography (EGG) was used to monitor vocal fold vibration patterns in normal subjects and patients with various laryngeal disorders. In order to evaluate the regularity of vocal fold vibration, frequency and amplitude perturbation of EGG waves during sustained phonation were measured with a laboratory computer. The data were compared to the degree of hoarseness evaluated by auditory perception and by sound spectrographic analysis. Frequency and amplitude perturbation measures showed some overlap between normal and pathological groups. However, there was a close relation between perturbation analysis of EGG waves and degree of hoarseness (Spearman's rank correlation coefficient rs = 0.73, p less than 0.0005). Amplitude perturbation was found to be a more sensitive measure of the irregularity of vocal fold vibration than frequency perturbation.  相似文献

We study the influence of an aperiodic extended surface perturbation on the surface critical behaviour of the two-dimensional Ising model in the extreme anisotropic limit. The perturbation decays as a power of the distance l from the free surface with an oscillating amplitude where follows some aperiodic sequence with an asymptotic density equal to 1/2 so that the mean amplitude vanishes. The relevance of the perturbation is discussed by combining scaling arguments of Cordery and Burkhardt for the Hilhorst-van Leeuwen model and Luck for aperiodic perturbations. The relevance-irrelevance criterion involves the decay exponent , the wandering exponent which governs the fluctuation of the sequence and the bulk correlation length exponent . Analytical results are obtained for the surface magnetization which displays a rich variety of critical behaviours in the -plane. The results are checked through a numerical finite-size-scaling study. They show that second-order effects must be taken into account in the discussion of the relevance-irrelevance criterion. The scaling behaviours of the first gap and the surface energy are also discussed. Received 1 December 1998  相似文献

A novel approach is presented for obtaining approximate analytical expressions for the dispersion relation of periodic wavetrains in the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation with even potential function. By coupling linearization of the governing equation with the method of harmonic balance, we establish two general analytical approximate formulas for the dispersion relation, which depends on the amplitude of the periodic wavetrain. These formulas are valid for small as well as large amplitude of the wavetrain. They are also applicable to the large amplitude regime, which the conventional perturbation method fails to provide any solution, of the nonlinear system under study. Three examples are demonstrated to illustrate the excellent approximate solutions of the proposed formulas with respect to the exact solutions of the dispersion relation. Nonlinear excitation in self gravitating quantum dusty plasma is analysed from the viewpoint of perturbation theory. A plasma configuration consisting of electron, ion and dust particles are treated by reductive perturbation theory, to deduce two coupled modified KdV equations. The soliton like solutions of such coupled systems are obtained with the help of another multiple scale perturbation theory. This leads to the variation of soliton amplitude and velocity due to the several interaction terms.  相似文献

The evolution of the amplitude of two nonlinearly interacting waves is considered, via a set of coupled nonlinear Schr?dinger-type equations. The dynamical profile is determined by the wave dispersion laws (i.e. the group velocities and the group velocity dispersion terms) and the nonlinearity and coupling coefficients, on which no assumption is made. A generalized dispersion relation is obtained, relating the frequency and wave-number of a small perturbation around a coupled monochromatic (Stokes') wave solution. Explicitly stability criteria are obtained. The analysis reveals a number of possibilities. Two (individually) stable systems may be destabilized due to coupling. Unstable systems may, when coupled, present an enhanced instability growth rate, for an extended wave number range of values. Distinct unstable wavenumber windows may arise simultaneously.  相似文献

Non-linear heavy ion-acoustic waves (HIAWs) are studied in a homogeneous magnetized four-component multi-ion plasma composed of inertial heavy negative ions, light positive ions, and inertia-less non-extensive electrons and positrons. The non-linear Schrödinger equation is derived in this model using the perturbation method. The criteria for modulational instability of HIAWs and the basic features of finite-amplitude heavy ion acoustic rogue waves (HIARWs) are investigated. The presence of the magnetic field was found to reduce the amplitude of HIARWs and enhances the stability. It is interesting to note that increasing positive ion mass causes decreases in the amplitude and width of rogue waves, which is opposite behaviour to that demonstrated in the previous study of these waves in an unmagnetized plasma. Furthermore, it is also shown that striking parameters, such as the non-extensive parameter, the positron number density, the electron number density, the electron temperature, and the magnetic field parameter, play an undeniable role on the stability of waves packets. The findings of the present investigation may be of wide relevance to some plasma environments, such as active galactic nuclei, pulsar magnetospheres, and other magnetic confinement systems.  相似文献

The need for standardization of procedures in approaches to voice measurement has been recently emphasized. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the acoustic perturbation measurements from three different analysis systems agree when standardized recording and analysis procedures are used. High-quality acoustic voice recordings from 20 patients were analyzed. The results showed that, although fundamental frequency measurements were in strong agreement among the three systems tested, frequency and amplitude perturbation measurements were not in agreement. The underlying approaches to perturbation measurement appeared to be sufficiently different to produce different results. An argument is made for a standardized set of acoustic signals representing normal, dysphonic, and synthesized voices with known characteristics to facilitate testing of new acoustic analysis systems and confirm measurement accuracy and sensitivity.  相似文献

We report a detailed experimental investigation of the dependence of localized structures, observed in a nonlinear optical device, on several control parameters. A first step of the study consists in the determination of the region of existence of localized states as a function of the system variables. Subsequently, we show how different control parameters can be used to the aim of tuning several localized structures properties; among these, of particular relevance are the contrast and the amplitude and frequency of the oscillations appearing on the tails of the structures. A discussion of the relation between the localized states here studied and the one predicted by general model for pattern forming systems is also given.  相似文献

We analyze the Fubini-Furlan-Rosetti sum rule in the framework of covariant baryon chiral perturbation theory to leading one-loop accuracy and including next-to-leading-order polynomial contributions. We discuss the relation between the subtraction constants in the invariant amplitudes and certain low-energy constants employed in earlier chiral perturbation theory studies of threshold neutral pion photoproduction off nucleons. In particular, we consider the corrections to the sum rule due to the finite pion mass and show that below the threshold they agree well with determinations based on fixed-t dispersion relations. We also discuss the energy dependence of the electric dipole amplitude E0+.  相似文献

The effect of a magnetic field on the amplitude of the dipole echo in glasses at a temperature of about 10 mK caused by the presence of nonspherical nuclei with electric quadrupole moments in the glass has been considered theoretically. It has been shown that in this case, the two-level systems (TLSs) that determine the properties of glasses at low temperatures are transformed into more complicated multilevel systems. These systems have new properties as compared to usual TLSs and, in particular, exhibit oscillations of the electric dipole echo amplitude in the magnetic field. A general formula that describes the echo amplitude in an arbitrarily split TLS has been derived in perturbation theory. Detailed analytic and numerical analysis of the formula has been performed. The theory agrees qualitatively and quantitatively well with the experimental data.  相似文献

We consider the effects of possible tachyonic perturbations of dark energy on the CMB anisotropy. Such perturbations emerge, in particular, in models with phantom dark energy violating Lorentz invariance. Therefore, we discuss tachyonic perturbations with a Lorentz-violating dispersion relation. We show that the corresponding contribution to the CMB anisotropy can have an appreciable amplitude, while the angular spectrum has a distinct maximum. These predictions are compared with observational data. The tachyonic contribution slightly improves the agreement between the theory and observations, but this improvement is statistically insignificant and our analysis gives constraints on the tachyonic perturbation amplitude.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate univariate relationships between perceived dysphonia and variation in pitch perturbation, amplitude perturbation, and additive noise. A time-domain, pitch-synchronous synthesis technique was used to generate sustained vowels varying in each of the three acoustic dimensions. A panel of trained listeners provided direct magnitude estimates of roughness in the case of the stimuli varying in pitch and amplitude perturbation, and breathiness in the case of the stimuli varying in additive noise. Very strong relationships were found between perceived roughness and either pitch or amplitude perturbation. However, unlike results reported previously for nonspeech stimuli, the subjective quality associated with pitch perturbation was quite different from that associated with amplitude perturbation. Results also showed that perceived roughness was affected not only by the amount of perturbation, but also by the degree of correlation between adjacent pitch or amplitude values. A strong relationship was found between perceived breathiness and signal-to-noise ratio. Contrary to previous findings, there was no interaction between signal-to-noise ratio and the amount of high-frequency energy in the periodic component of the stimulus: Stimuli with similar signal-to-noise ratios received similar ratings, regardless of differences in the spectral slope of the periodic component.  相似文献

SUMMARY: An investigation of the effect of glottal source aperiodicities (jitter, shimmer, and aspiration noise) on the estimation of fundamental frequency (f0) perturbation and amplitude perturbation, of synthesized, glottal source and voiced speech waveforms, is considered. Firstly, 4, cycle-event f0 estimators are examined: (1) waveform matching of the low-pass filtered waveform, (2) positive peaks (PPs) from the speech waveform, (3) PPs from the low-pass filtered waveform, and (4) positive zero crossings from the low-pass filtered waveform. The analysis shows that f0 perturbation measures taken from the low-pass filtered waveform are affected by both amplitude perturbation and random glottal noise, whereas, f0 perturbation measures taken from the PPs of the original waveform are affected by noise but not by amplitude perturbation. It is shown for the low-pass filter methods that the effects of amplitude perturbation and noise lead to increased errors in the measurement of f0 perturbation for the synthesized speech waveforms when compared with the synthesized glottal waveforms. Shimmer of the synthesized speech waveform is approximately equal to shimmer of the synthesized glottal source. However, noise and jitter affect measures of amplitude perturbation. The estimation of f0 perturbation from the synthesized speech waveform is shown to be nonlinearly related to f0 perturbation estimation from the synthesized glottal waveform as a consequence of the filtering action of the vocal tract. Low-pass filtering the voiced speech waveform is shown to provide a partial solution to this problem.  相似文献

This study examines voice perturbation parameters of the sustained [a] in English and of the eight vowels in Turkish to discover whether any difference exists between these languages, and whether a correlation exists between voice perturbation parameters and articulatory and acoustic properties of the Turkish vowels. Eight Turkish vowels uttered by 26 healthy nonsmoker volunteer males who are native Turkish speakers were compared with a voice database that includes samples of normal and disordered voices belonging to American English speakers. Fundamental frequencies, the first and second formants, and perturbation parameters, such as jitter percent, pitch perturbation quotient, shimmer percent, and amplitude perturbation quotient of the sustained vowels, were measured. Also, the first and second formants of the sustained [a] in English were measured, and other parameters have been obtained from the database. When the voice perturbation parameters in Turkish and English were compared, statistically significant differences were not found. However, when Turkish vowels compared with each other, statistically significant differences were found among perturbation values. Categorical comparisons of the Turkish vowels like high-low, rounded-unrounded, and front-back revealed significant differences in perturbation values. In correlation analysis, a weak linear inverse relation between jitter percent and the first formant (r=-0.260, p<0.05) was found.  相似文献
