Three control problems for the system of two coupled differential equations governing the dynamics of an energy harvesting model are studied. The system consists of the equation of an Euler–Bernoulli beam model and the equation representing the Kirchhoff's electric circuit law. Both equations contain coupling terms representing the inverse and direct piezoelectric effects. The system is reformulated as a single evolution equation in the state space of 3-component functions. The control is introduced as a separable forcing term on the right-hand side of the operator equation. The first control problem deals with an explicit construction of that steers an initial state to zero on a time interval [0, T]. The second control problem deals with the construction of such that the voltage output is equal to some given function (with being given as well). The third control problem deals with an explicit construction of both the force profile, , and the control, , which generate the desired voltage output . Interpolation theory in the Hardy space of analytic functions is used in the solution of the second and third problems. 相似文献

We show that the existence and uniqueness of BV continuous sweeping processes can be easily reduced to the Lipschitz continuous case by means of a suitable reparametrization of the associated moving convex set. Moreover we put this approach in the wider framework of rate independent operators acting on curves in metric spaces and we prove an extension theorem for such operators. This abstract theorem is then applied in order to infer continuous dependence of the sweeping process on the data. 相似文献

In this paper, an independent variable transformation is introduced to solve the modified Camassa-Holm equation using the bifurcation theory and the method of phase portrait analysis. In this paper, we introduce a new iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem, the set of common fixed point for a family of infinitely nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for α-inverse-strongly monotone mappings in a Hilbert space. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems for approximating a common element of the above three sets are obtained. As applications, at the end of the paper we utilize our results to study the optimization problem and some convergence problem for strictly pseudocontractive mappings. In this paper we develop the necessary conditions of optimality for a class of distributed parameter systems (partial differential equations) determined by operator valued measures and controlled by vector measures. Based on some recent results on existence of optimal controls from the space of vector measures, we develop necessary conditions of optimality for a class of control problems. The main results are the necessary conditions of optimality for problems without state constraints and those with state constraints. Also, a conceptual algorithm along with a brief discussion of its convergence is presented. 相似文献

In this paper, by using a monotone iterative technique in the presence of lower and upper solutions, we discuss the existence of solutions for a new system of nonlinear mixed type implicit impulsive integro-differential equations in Banach spaces. The subject of this paper is the rigorous derivation of a quasistatic evolution model for a linearly elastic–perfectly plastic thin plate. As the thickness of the plate tends to zero, we prove via Γ-convergence techniques that solutions to the three-dimensional quasistatic evolution problem of Prandtl–Reuss elastoplasticity converge to a quasistatic evolution of a suitable reduced model. In this limiting model the admissible displacements are of Kirchhoff–Love type and the stretching and bending components of the stress are coupled through a plastic flow rule. Some equivalent formulations of the limiting problem in rate form are derived, together with some two-dimensional characterizations for suitable choices of the data. 相似文献

Operator-valued Fourier multipliers are used to study well-posedness of integro-differential equations in Banach spaces. Both strong and mild periodic solutions are considered. Strong well-posedness corresponds to maximal regularity which has proved very efficient in the handling of nonlinear problems. We are concerned with a large array of vector-valued function spaces: Lebesgue-Bochner spaces Lp, the Besov spaces (and related spaces such as the Hölder-Zygmund spaces Cs) and the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces . We note that the multiplier results in these last two scales of spaces involve only boundedness conditions on the resolvents and are therefore applicable to arbitrary Banach spaces. The results are applied to various classes of nonlinear integral and integro-differential equations. 相似文献

The problem that motivates the considerations here is the construction of mathematical models of natural phenomena that depend upon past states. The paper divides naturally into two parts: in the first, we expound the inter-connection between ordinary differential equations, delay-differential equations, neutral delay-differential equations and integral equations (with emphasis on certain linear cases). As we show, this leads to a natural hierarchy of model complexity when such equations are used in mathematical and computational modelling, and to the possibility of reformulating problems either to facilitate their numerical solution or to provide mathematical insight, or both. Volterra integral equations include as special cases the others we consider. In the second part, we develop some practical and theoretical consequences of results given in the first part. In particular, we consider various approaches to the definition of an adjoint, we establish (notably, in the context of sensitivity analysis for neutral delay-differential equations) rôles for well-defined adjoints and ‘quasi-adjoints’, and we explore relationships between sensitivity analysis, the variation of parameters formulae, the fundamental solution and adjoints. 相似文献

In this paper, by using the generalization of Darbo’s fixed point theorem, we establish the existence of global solutions of an initial value problem for a class of second-order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type in a real Banach space. Our results generalize and improve on the results of Guo et al. [F. Guo, L.S. Liu, Y.H. Wu, P. Siew, Global solutions of initial value problems for nonlinear second-order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type in Banach spaces, Nonlinear Anal. 61 (2005) 1363–1382] in the sense that the conditions for existence of global solution in our theorem is simpler and less strict. This note addresses a class of abstract quasivariational evolution equations taking into account nonlocality with respect to time. We present an existence result for suitably weak solutions to such problems, which extend previous contributions. The existence argument relies on some order technique and exploits a fixed point result for multivalued applications in ordered spaces. Moreover, we discuss the application of our results to classes of ODE and parabolic PDE problems. 相似文献
