拟鞅变换与UMD空间

本文定义了拟鞅变换,将Burkholder关于变换的不等式推广到拟鞅,同时应用拟鞅变换的若干性质刻划了UMD空间的特征.     

B值鞅不等式与Banach空间几何性质的刻划

本文建立了Ｂ值鞅的极大函数ｆ，平削函数ｆｐ＾＃，ｆｐ＾＃的凸Φ－不等式，反过来用这些不等式刻划了Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间的凸性和光滑性，同时给出了超自反空间以及与Ｈｉｌｂｅｒｔ空间同构的Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间的特征。本文的结论推广了一些熟知的重要结果。     

Banach空间值鞅变换的有界性及其应用

本文给出关于Banach空间值鞅变换算子有界性的一种新的处理方法,得到一系列带有广泛性的结果,并应用鞅变换算子的有界性刻画了Banach空间的一致光滑性和一致凸性,使得许多已有文献中的结论成为本文的特例.

本文运用Banach值鞅不等式和鞅空间的相互嵌入关系．讨论了Banach空间值鞅空间上鞅变换算子L的有界性．并给出了鞅变换算子的有界性与Banach空间几何性质的关系．     

B值拟鞅不等式及其应用

本文给出B值拟鞅的概率不等式与集合不等式,并用它们刻划了B空间的p可光滑性及q可凸性,作为应用,还证明了B值拟鞅的强大数律,收敛速度及极大值函数的可积性。     

B值鞅的一致可积条件与Banach空间的几何特性

在子σ-代数列(B_n)正规情形下,本文研究了B值鞅(f_N,B_n)的一致可积性与条件 (?)λP(S~2(f)>λ)=0之间的关系,证明了当值空间同构于g凸或p光滑空间时,两者可互推。特别当值空间同构于Hilbert空间时,两者为等价。     

鞅空间与Banach空间的几何性质

本文建立了Banach空间值鞅的极大函数与p均方函数的若干不等式,讨论了某些类型的B值鞅空间的相互关系,给出了Banach空间的凸性和光滑性的若干等价条件.     

B值鞅的加权不等式与Banach空间的凸性和光滑性

本文对若干满足通常条件的权证明了B值鞅的加权凸Φ函数不等式和加权Davis型不等式,用这些加权不等式成立的条件刻划了Banach空间的p光滑性和q凸性,同时用B值鞅的加权不等式成立的条件给出了超自反空间以及与Hilbert空间同构的Banach空间的特征。     

Banach空间值鞅上的拟局部算子

本文研究了拟局部算子在几个Banach空间值鞅空间上的有界性.给出了几个有界性定理,证明了鞅空间的简单原子分解.得到几个极大算子和p均方算子的一系列鞅不等式以及鞅空间的包含关系.     

New geometric properties of Banach spaces

In this paper, we introduce new geometric properties as generalizations of p‐uniform smoothness and q‐uniform convexity of Banach spaces. Furthermore, using generalized Beckner's inequality, we characterize the properties in terms of norm inequalities. As an application, we consider the duality relation.     

Best simultaneous approximation to totally bounded sequences in Banach spaces

This paper is concerned with the problem of best weighted simultaneous approximations to totally bounded sequences in Banach spaces. Characterization results from convex sets in Banach spaces are established under the assumption that the Banach space is uniformly smooth. Banach spaces with many boundedly complete basic sequences failing PCP

We prove that there exist Banach spaces not containing ?₁, failing the point of continuity property and satisfying that every semi-normalized basic sequence has a boundedly complete basic subsequence. This answers in the negative the problem of Remark 2 in Rosenthal (2007) [12].     

On some geometric parameters in Banach spaces

Let X be a normed linear space and be the unit sphere of X. Let , , and J(X)=sup{‖x+y‖∧‖x−y‖}, x and y∈S(X) be the modulus of convexity, the modulus of smoothness, and the modulus of squareness of X, respectively. Let . In this paper we proved some sufficient conditions on δ(?), ρX(?), J(X), E(X), and , where the supremum is taken over all the weakly null sequence xn in X and all the elements x of X for the uniform normal structure.     

Randomized UMD Banach spaces and decoupling inequalities for stochastic integrals

In this paper we prove the equivalence of decoupling inequalities for stochastic integrals and one-sided randomized versions of the UMD property of a Banach space as introduced by Garling.

     

On a new geometric property for Banach spaces

In this paper we study a geometric property for Banach spaces called condition (*), introduced by de Reynaet al in [3], A Banach space has this property if for any weakly null sequencex _n of unit vectors inX, ifx _* ⁿ is any sequence of unit vectors inX ^* that attain their norm at x_n’s, then . We show that a Banach space satisfies condition (*) for all equivalent norms iff the space has the Schur property. We also study two related geometric conditions, one of which is useful in calculating the essential norm of an operator.     

Generic Banach spaces and generic simplexes

We give a systematic study of certain class of generic Banach spaces. We show that they distinguish between an array of different properties related to smoothness of equivalent norms such as for example the Mazur intersection property or the existence of convex sets supported by all of their points. We also examine the dual constructions of generic Choquet simplexes with extra requirements such as for example those of Poulsen and Bauer asking that the set of extremal points is dense or closed, respectively.     

Banach lattices which are order uniformly noncreasy

The class of order uniformly noncreasy Banach lattices is introduced and studied. A fixed point theorem for those lattices is proved.

Boundedness of dyadic derivative and Cesáro mean operator on some B-valued martingale spaces

In this article, it is proved that the maximal operator of one-dimensional dyadic derivative of dyadic integral I* and Cesàro mean operator σ* are bounded from the B-valued martingale Hardy spaces pΣα, Dα, pLα, p H#α, pKr to Lα (0 < α < ∞), respectively. The facts show that it depends on the geometrical properties of the Banach space.
