Several quantum-mechanical correlations, notably, quantum entanglement, measurement-induced nonlocality and Bell nonlocality are studied for a two qubit-system having no mutual interaction. Analytical expressions for the measures of these quantum-mechanical correlations of different bipartite partitions of the system are obtained, for initially two entangled qubits and the two photons are in their vacuum states. It is found that the qubits-fields interaction leads to the loss and gain of the initial quantum correlations. The lost initial quantum correlations transfer from the qubits to the cavity fields. It is found that the maximal violation of Bell’s inequality is occurring when the quantum correlations of both the logarithmic negativity and measurement-induced nonlocality reach particular values. The maximal violation of Bell’s inequality occurs only for certain bipartite partitions of the system. The frequency detuning leads to quick oscillations of the quantum correlations and inhibits their transfer from the qubits to the cavity modes. It is also found that the dynamical behavior of the quantum correlation clearly depends on the qubit distribution angle.  相似文献

We interpret the maximum global effect caused by locally invariant measurements as measurement-induced nonlocality, which is in some sense dual to the geometric measure of quantum discord [Dakic, Vedral, and Brukner, Phys. Rev. Lett. 105, 190502 (2010)]. We quantify measurement-induced nonlocality from a geometric perspective in terms of measurements, and obtain analytical formulas for any dimensional pure states and 2 × n dimensional mixed states. We further derive a tight upper bound to measurement-induced nonlocality in general case. The physical significance of measurement-induced nonlocality is discussed in the context of correlations, entanglement, quantumness, and cryptographic communication.  相似文献

Utilizing the concurrence and the quantum discord as the measure method, in this paper we compare and investigate the dynamic evolution features of quantum correlations of coupled qubits in non-Markovian process. We focus attention on decoherence effect influences the stability of quantum correlations. The investigation results show that because of the decoherence influence between the system and environment, the concurrence always evolves with time in oscillation form in the way of deaths and survivals, however, the quantum discord time evolution does not appear the deaths and survivals. The quantum discord survives obviously longer than concurrence, which indicates that quantum discord has a stronger ability to resist decoherence than entanglement. Through regulating and controlling the purity and entanglement of the initial quantum state, we can effectively suppress the decay of the quantum correlations, which is advantaged to complete the quantum information processing.  相似文献

Bell nonlocality, entanglement and nonclassical correlations are different aspects of quantum correlations for a given state. There are many methods to measure nonclassical correlations. In this paper, nonclassical correlations in two-qubit spin models are measured by the use of measurement-induced disturbance (MID) [S. Luo, Phys. Rev. A 77 (2008) 022301] and geometric measure of quantum discord (GQD) [B. Daki?, V. Vedral, C. Brukner, Phys. Rev. Lett. 105 (2010) 190502]. Their dependences on external magnetic field, spin–spin coupling, and the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction are presented in detail. We also compare Bell nonlocality, entanglement measured by concurrence, MID and GQD and illustrate their different characteristics.  相似文献

We study the dynamic evolution of quantum correlation of two interacting coupled qubits system in non-Markov environment, and quantify the quantum correlation using concurrence and quantum discord. We find that although both of them are physical quantities which measure the system characteristics of the quantum correlations, the quantum discord is more robust than concurrence, since it can keep a positive value even when the ESD happens. The quantum correlation of quantum system not only depends on the initial state but also strongly depends on the coupling ways between qubits and environment. For the given initial state, by keeping the coupling between qubits and environment in completely symmetric, we can completely avoid the effect the decoherence influenced on the quantum correlation and effectively prolong the survival time of quantum discord and concurrence. We also find that the stronger the interaction between qubits is, the more conducive the death of the quantum correlation is resisted.  相似文献

We have studied the analytical Markovian and non-Markovian dynamics of quantum correlations, such as entanglement, quantum discord and Bell nonlocalities for three noisy qubits. Quantum correlation as measured by quantum discord is found to be immune to death contrary to entanglement and Bell nonlocality for initial GHZ- or W-type mixed states.  相似文献

The paper investigates the dynamic evolution behaviors of entanglement and quantum discord of coupled superconducting qubits in circuit QED system. We put emphasis on the effects of cavity field quantum state on quantum entanglement and quantum correlations dynamic behaviors of coupling superconducting qubits. The results show that, (1) generally speaking, the entanglement will appear the death and new birth because of the interaction between qubits and cavity field, on the contrary, this phenomenon will not appear in quantum discord. (2) When the cavity field is in coherent state, the entanglement survival time is controlled by the average photon number. The more the average photon number is, the longer survival time of entanglement is prolonged. Thus it has the benefit of keeping quantum correlations. (3) When the cavity field is in squeezed state, the squeezed amplitude parameters have controlling effects on quantum correlations including entanglement and quantum discord. On the one hand, the increase of squeezed amplitude parameters can prolong the survival time of entanglement, on the other hand, with the increase of squeezed amplitude parameters, the robustness of quantum discord is more and more superior to concurrence and is more advantage to keep the system quantum correlations. The further study results show that the increase of the initial relative phase of coupling superconducting qubits can also keep the quantum correlations.  相似文献

Nonclassical correlations have been found useful in many quantum information processing tasks, and various measures have been proposed to quantify these correlations. In this work, we mainly study one of nonclassical correlations, called measurement-induced nonlocality (MIN). First, we establish a close connection between this nonlocal effect and the Bell nonlocality for two-qubit states. Then, we derive a tight monogamy relation of MIN for any pure three-qubit state and provide an alternative way to obtain similar monogamy relations for other nonclassical correlation measures, including squared negativity, quantum discord, and geometric quantum discord. Finally, we find that the tight monogamy relation of MIN is violated by some mixed three-qubit states, however, a weaker monogamy relation of MIN for mixed states and even multi-qubit states is still obtained.  相似文献

We investigate the quantum discord of coupled qubits in squeezed vacuum reservoir and compare it with the quantum entanglement of system. We find that the quantum discord and entanglement perform completely oppositely with the change of squeezed parameters. Quantum discord survives longer with the increase of squeezed amplitude parameter and entanglement death faster on the contrary. Under high squeezed amplitude parameter, the quantum discord can keep nonzero which indicate that the quantum discord is more robust than entanglement. We also find that the purity reduction of the initial quantum state will lead to the decay of concurrence or quantum discord. However, the quantum discord damps remarkably more slowly and survives longer than concurrence.  相似文献

The dynamics of quantum discord for two identical qubits in two independent single-mode cavities and a common single-mode cavity are discussed. For the initial Bell state with correlated spins, while the entanglement sudden death can occur, the quantum discord vanishes only at discrete moments in the independent cavities and never vanishes in the common cavity. Interestingly, quantum discord and entanglement show opposite behavior in the common cavity, unlike in the independent cavities. For the initial Bell state with anti-correlated spins, quantum discord and entanglement behave in the same way for both independent cavities and a common cavity. It is found that the detunings always stabilize the quantum discord.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of quantum discord and entanglement for two spin qubits coupled to a spin chain with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction. In the case of a two-qubit with an initial pure state, quantum correlations decay to zero at the critical point of the environment in a very short time.In the case of a two-qubit with initial mixed state,it is found that quantum discord may get maximized due to the quantum critical behavior of the environment, while entanglement vanishes under the same condition.Besides,we observed a sudden transition between classical and quantum decoherence when only a single qubit interacts with the environment. The effects of Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction on quantum correlations are considered in the two cases. The decay of quantum correlations is always strengthened by Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction.  相似文献

It is known that the inevitable interaction of the entangled qubits with their environments may result in the degradation of quantum correlation. We study the decoherence of two remote qubits under general local single-and two-sided amplitude-damping channel(ADC).By using concurrence, quantum discord and Clauser-Horne-ShimonyHolt(CHSH)inequality,we find that the relation between the residual quantum correlations and the initial ones are different.Recently,Wang et al.[Int.J.Theor.Phys.54(2015)5]showed that there exist a set of partially entangled states that are more robust than maximally entangled states in terms of the residual quantum correlation measured by concurrence, fully entangled fraction and quantum discord, respectively. Here we find that both in single-and two-sided ADC,only the evolution of CHSH inequality with the initial parameter is proportional to that of the initial nonlocality. That means the initial state with maximally nonlocality will retain its role in the evolution. It implies that the evolution of nonlocality may reveal the characteristics of quantum state better.Furthermore,we discuss the evolutions of the three different quantum measurements with the initial parameter under generalized amplitude damping channel(GADC)and find that they are all proportional to that of the initial state.  相似文献

We studied quantum correlation and quantum entanglement of a quantum system in which a coherent state light field interacts with two qubits that are initially prepared in a separable and mixed state. The influence of mean photon number of the coherent field and distribution probability of the atom on the geometrical quantum discord and the negativity are discussed. Our results show that the mean photon number of light field and distribution function of the atom can regulate and control the quantum correlation and quantum entanglement.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the generation of quantum correlations by using two distant qubits in free space or mediated by a plasmonic nanostructure. We report both entanglement of formation as well as quantum discord and classical correlations. We have found that for proper initial state of the two-qubit system and distance between the two qubits we can produce quantum correlations taking significant value for a relatively large time interval so that it can be useful in quantum information and computation processes.  相似文献

It is shown that geometric phases and entanglement may fail to detect level crossings for two qubits with XY interaction. The rotating magnetic field produces a magnetic monopole sphere like conducting spheres in that only a ground state evolving adiabatically outside the sphere acquires a geometric phase.  相似文献

We propose a theoretical scheme to generate a controllable and switchable coupling between two double-quantum-dot (DQD) spin qubits by using a transmission line resonator (TLR) as a bus system. We study dynamical behaviors of quantum correlations described by entanglement correlation (EC) and discord correlation (DC) between two DQD spin qubits when the two spin qubits and the TLR are initially prepared in X-type quantum states and a coherent state, respectively. We demonstrate that in the EC death regions there exist DC stationary states in which the stable DC amplification or degradation can be generated during the dynamical evolution. It is shown that these DC stationary states can be controlled by initial-state parameters, the coupling, and detuning between qubits and the TLR. We reveal the full synchronization and anti-synchronization phenomena in the EC and DC time evolution, and show that the EC and DC synchronization and anti-synchronization depends on the initial-state parameters of the two DQD spin qubits. It is shown that the initial quantum correlation may be suppressed completely when the evolution time approaches to the infinity in the presence of dissipation. These results shed new light on dynamics of quantum correlations.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement and the nonlocality of two qubits interacting with a thermal reservoir. It is shown that the time behavior of these quantities exhibits a strong dependence on the initial state of two qubits, and that the entanglement and the nonlocality of two qubits can be manipulated by changing the relative phases and the amplitudes of the polarized qubits.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of the quantum steering between two separated qubits trapped in a one-dimensional plasmonic waveguide. By numerical methods, we calculate the quantum steerability and other quantum correlations, i.e., entanglement, discord, and coherence, for both cases with and without laser driving fields. It is found that steerability may exhibit a sudden disappearance and sudden reappearance phenomenon. Specifically, there exist time windows with no steerability but finite entanglement. The effects of plasmon wavenumber and the distance between the two qubits on steerability are also examined. Furthermore, we show that quantum steerability is tunable by adjusting the laser driving fields.  相似文献
