We study in this article both the structure and the structural evolution of the solutions of 2-D Navier-Stokes equations with periodic boundary conditions and the evolution of their solutions. First the structure of all eigenvectors of the corresponding Stokes problem is lassified using a block structure, and is linked to the typical structure of the Taylor vortices. Then the structure of the solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations forced either by eigenmodes or by potential forcing is classified.  相似文献

对定常Navier-Stokes方程流函数形式两重网格有限元算法进行了误差分析。此方法包括在粗网格上求解一个非线性问题,在细网格上求解一个线性问题,然后再在粗网格上求解一个线性校正问题。分析了包括校正项和不包括校正项两种方法的误差,得出对于任意固定的Beynolds数,能达到最优逼近阶。  相似文献

In this paper,the unconditional error estimates are presented for the time-dependent Navier-Stokes equations by the bilinear-constant scheme.The corresponding optimal error estimates for the velocity and the pressure are derived unconditionally,while the previous works require certain time-step restrictions.The analysis is based on an iterated time-discrete system,with which the error function is split into a temporal error and a spatial error.The τ-independent(τ is the time stepsize)error estimate between the numerical solution and the solution of the time-discrete system is proven by a rigorous analysis,which implies that the numerical solution in L-norm is bounded.Thus optimal error estimates can be obtained in a traditional way.Numerical results are provided to confirm the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

Under the assumptions that the initial density ρ0 is close enough to 1 and ρ0 -- 1∈ H^s+1(R^2), u0 ∈ H^s(R^2) ∩ H^-ε(R^2) for s 〉 2 and 0 〈 ε 〈 1, the authors prove the global existence and uniqueness of smooth solutions to the 2-D inhomogeneous Navier-Stokes equations with the viscous coefficient depending on the density of the fluid. Furthermore, the L^2 decay rate of the velocity field is obtained.  相似文献

We present in this paper a rigorous error analysis of several projection schemes for the approximation of the unsteady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. The error analysis is accomplished by interpreting the respective projection schemes as second-order time discretizations of a perturbed system which approximates the Navier-Stokes equations. Numerical results in agreement with the error analysis are also presented.

We consider a system of two coupled nonconservative wave equations. For this system, we prove several observability estimates. Those observability estimates are sharp in the sense that they lead by duality to the controllability (exact or approximate) of the coupled system with a single control acting through one of the equations only while keeping the same controllability time as for a single equation. Existing results in the literature either require two controls, or in the case of a single control, they have a controllability time that blows up as the coupling parameter goes to zero. Our proofs rely on: (i) Carleman estimates, (ii) energy estimates and (iii) localizing arguments. The results obtained complement and improve, in some sense, earlier results while at the same time providing new uniqueness results.  相似文献

根据NS方程组的一阶迎风和二阶中心有限体积(UFV和CFV)格式,导出NS方程组迎风和中心摄动有限体积(UPFV和CPFV)格式.该格式通过把控制体界面质量通量摄动展开成网格间距的幂级数,并由守恒方程本身求得幂级数系数而获得.迎风和中心摄动有限体积格式使用了与一阶迎风和二阶中心格式相同的基点数和相同的表达形式,宜于计算机编程.顶盖驱动方腔流和驻点流标量输运的数值实验证明,迎风PFV格式比一阶UFV、二阶CFV格式有更高的精度,更高的分辨率.尤其是良好的鲁棒特性.对顶盖驱动方腔流,在Re数从102到104范围内,亚松弛系数可在0.3~0.8任取,收敛性能良好.  相似文献

We prove two conditions of local Holder continuity for suitable weak solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations near a smooth curved part of the boundary of the domain. One of these conditions has the form of the Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg condition for local boundedness of suitable weak solutions at interior points of the space-time cylinder. The aim of the paper is to study a collocation spectral methodto approximate the Navier-Stokes equations: only one grid isused, which is built from the nodes of a Gauss-Lobatto quadratureformula, either of Legendre or of Chebyshev type. Motivated by [10], we prove that the upper bound of the density function j9 controls the finite time blow up of the classical solutions to the 2-D compressible isentropic Navier-Stokes equations. Let \(S_{\alpha ,\psi }(f)\) be the square function defined by means of the cone in \({\mathbb R}^{n+1}_{+}\) of aperture \(\alpha \) , and a standard kernel \(\psi \) . Let \([w]_{A_p}\) denote the \(A_p\) characteristic of the weight \(w\) . We show that for any \(1<p<\infty \) and \(\alpha \ge 1\) , $$\begin{aligned} \Vert S_{\alpha ,\psi }\Vert _{L^p(w)}\lesssim \alpha ^n[w]_{A_p}^{\max \left( \frac{1}{2},\frac{1}{p-1}\right) }. \end{aligned}$$ For each fixed \(\alpha \) the dependence on \([w]_{A_p}\) is sharp. Also, on all class \(A_p\) the result is sharp in \(\alpha \) . Previously this estimate was proved in the case \(\alpha =1\) using the intrinsic square function. However, that approach does not allow to get the above estimate with sharp dependence on \(\alpha \) . Hence we give a different proof suitable for all \(\alpha \ge 1\) and avoiding the notion of the intrinsic square function.  相似文献
