Generalizing the case of the usual harmonic oscillator, we look for Bargmann representations corresponding to deformed harmonic oscillators. Deformed harmonic oscillator algebras are generated by four operators a, a , N and the unity 1 such as [a, N] = a, [a , N] = –a , a a = (N) and aa = (N + 1). We discuss the conditions of existence of a scalar product expressed with a true integral on the space spanned by the e igenstates of a (or a ). We give various examples, in particular we consider functions that are linear combinations of q N, q –N and unity and that correspond to q-oscillators with Fock-representations or with non-Fock-representations.  相似文献

New coherent states of theq-Weyl algebraAA qA A = 1,0 <q < 1, are constructed. They are defined as eigenstates of the operatorA which is the lowering operator for nonhighest weight representations describing positive energy states. Depending on whether the positive spectrum is discrete or continuous, these coherent states are related either to the bilateral basic hypergeometric series or to some integrals over them. The free particle realization of theq-Weyl algebra whenA A d2/dx2 is used for illustrations. On leave of absence from the Institute for Nuclear Research, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia.  相似文献

Softness values En of estrogen derivatives and softness values Em of receptor lysine, histidine, tyrosine and cysteine have been evaluated by Klopman equation. The required parameters for the solution of Klopman equation have been calculated with the help of PM3 method. The difference Enm between En and Em has been derived for QSAR study. The estrogen derivatives have been divided into four different sets on the basis of their structural similarities, and their biological activity taken from literature in terms of relative binding affinity (RBA). The QSAR study shows that, Enm values provide good relationship with biological activity.  相似文献

Probability distributions are seen to be observer dependent. The probability function can be put into an observer-dependent form. This eliminates the acausal behavior of the collapse of the wave function.  相似文献

We present some inequalities for the Schattenp-norm of operators on a Hilbert space. It is shown, among other things, that ifA is an operator such that ReAa0, then for any operatorX, AX+XA* p 2aX p . Also, for any two operatorsA andB, AB 2 2 +A*B* 2 2 2AB 2 2 .  相似文献

There are series solutions for characteristic boundary value problems for fields on black hole backgrounds that converge when the data are given on = +, or on = +, but may not converge when the data are given on , or on + +. We specialize to oscillatory data of frequency and calculate approximate reflection and transmission coefficientsR() andT(), using a field generated by data on = +, and again, using a field generated by data on . The first calculation gives qualitatively good results at all frequencies at each order of approximation, and quantitatively better results at higher orders of approximation; the second calculation, using the series which may not converge, gives bad results except at very high frequencies. Thus for the physically unnatural case of a field that vanishes on and goes toe iv on + we have a series that is convergent, and uniformly so with respect to frequency, while for the natural case of a field that vanishes on and goes toe iv on we are limited to high frequencies. It is argued that a frequency-dependent renormalization of a series of the first type provides an approximation scheme that is convergent, and uniformly so with respect to frequency, for the physically important problems of the second type. The difficulties posed by the -dependent renormalization for the study of incident pulses are discussed.  相似文献

For { y },y, a one parameter family of invertible Weyl operators of possibly non-zero index acting on spinors over an even dimensional compact manifoldX, we express the phase of the chiral determinant det in terms of the invariant of a Dirac operator acting on spinors over ×X.Supported in part by NSF Grant No. PHY-82-15249Supported in part by NSF Grant PHY 8605978 and the Robert A. The representation theory of the generalized deformed oscillator algebras (GDOA's) is developed. GDOA's are generated by the four operators {1, a, a , N}. Their commutators and Hermiticity properties are those of the boson oscillator algebra, except for [a, a ] q = G(N), where [a, b] q = abq ba and G(N) is a Hermitian, analytic function. The unitary irreductible representations are obtained by means of a Casimir operator C and the semi-positive operator a a. They may belong to one out of four classes: bounded from below (BFB), bounded from above (BFA), finite-dimentional (FD), unbounded (UB). Some examples of these different types of unirreps are given.  相似文献

Statistical considerations are applied to quantum mechanical amplitudes. The physical motivation is the progress in the spectroscopy of highly excited states, The corresponding wave functions are strongly mixed. In terms of a basis set of eigenfunctions of a zeroth-order Hamiltonian with good quantum numbers, such wave functions have contributions from many basis states. The vector x is considered whose components are the expansion coefficients in that basis. Any amplitude can be written as a·x. It is argued that the components of x and hence other amplitudes can be regarded as random variables. The maximum entropy formalism is applied to determine the corresponding distribution function. Two amplitudes a·x and b·x are independently distributed if b·a=0. It is suggested that the theory of quantal measurements implies that, in general, one can one determine the distribution of amplitudes and not the amplitudes themselves. This paper is dedicated to Prof. Howard Reiss on the occasion of his 66th birthday.  相似文献

We give here new results of topology and integral geometry concerning the Gauss linking number I of closed manifolds inn-dimensional space. The rigid manifolds have arbitrary shapes and dimensions, and are statistically at random positions in n . Generalizing Pohl's work, for two closed manifoldsC 1 r ,C 2 s , of respective dimensionsr ands, with 0rn–1, andr+s+1=n, we consider the kinematic linking integralI=<I 2(x,O)d n x>, of the square linking number I ofC 1 r andC 2 s , over the group of Euclidean motions of one manifold (translationsx, rotationsO). Introducing a new tensorial method, and using group theory, we show quite generally thatI=num. fact. , where is a length variable and whereA , (=1, 2) are characteristic functions associated with the manifoldC only. We study functionsA and of a manifoldC r , of dimensionr, in all cases 0rn–1.A always exists.A(0) givesC's area, whereas equals the interior volume of a hypersurfaceC. is found to exist and not to vanish only if 2 dimC+1=n andn=3+4q=3, 7, 11 ...A and are explicitly calculated for segments andr-spheresS r . As an application the topological excluded volume of a gas of nonlinked spheresS r moving in 2r+1 is calculated. We generalize toN manifoldsC , =1, ...,N, linked successively to each other and forming a ring. The cyclic product of their linking numbers is integrated over the group of motions of the manifolds. It is shown to factorize completely in Fourier space, with special algebraic rules, over the set of 2N characteristic functionsA , , associated with theC 's. The same algebra of characteristic functions is shown to describe a larger class of topology and electromagnetism properties: a new theorem is given for a family of Euclidean group integrals involving the random linking numbers, mutual inductances and contact distributions ofN manifolds.  相似文献

This paper studies the rate of convergence to equilibrium of Glauber dynamics (Gibbs Sampler) for a system ofN Ising spins with random energy (at inverse temperature >0). For each of the 2 N spin configurations the energy is drawn independently from the values 0 and-logN with probabilities 1-N –7, resp.N (>0), and is kept fixed during the evolution. The main result is an estimate of the coupling time of two Glauber dynamics starting from different configurations and coupled via the same updating noise. AsN the system exhibits two dynamical phase transitions: (1) at =1 the coupling time changes from polynomial (>1) to stretched exponential (<1) inN; (2) if <1, then at = the almost coupling time [i.e., the first time that the two dynamics are within distanceo(N)] changes from polynomial (<) to stretched exponential (>) inN. The techniques used to control the randomness in the coupling are static and dynamic large-deviation estimates and stochastic domination arguments.  相似文献

Let t be an analytic solution of the Schrödinger equation with the initial condition . Let t be the solution of the Schrödinger equation with the initial condition =, where is an analytic function. When 0, then t (x) t (x)1 ( t (x)), where t (x) trajectory starting from x. We relate this result to Feynman's sum over trajectories and complex stochastic differential equations.  相似文献

A cluster of two atoms described by thes-f model with Coulomb repulsion has been considered. The interaction between localized 4f electrons (S=1/2) is taken in the molecular field approximation. The thermodynamic quantities like magnetization, specific heat and correlation functions n , n , S z n , S z n , S z (n n ), n n and S + a + a as functions of temperature are presented for different band fillingN=0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2. The dependence of Curie temperature onN is calculated. The phase diagram forN=1 (T=0K) shows the possibility of existence of two phases: paramagnetic and ferromagnetic. The Curie temperature and the specific heat as functions ofN exhibit similar trends as found in experiments on doped magnetic semiconductors.  相似文献

It is proved that the monotone -closure of the self-adjoint part of anyC*-algebraA is the self-adjoint part of aC*-algebra . IfA is of type I it is proved that is weakly -closed, i.e. is a*-algebra. The physical importance of*-algebras was explained in [1] and [7].  相似文献

The applicability of (K ,) - and (K , N)-reactions on13,14C and14,15N nuclei to the study of -transitions in primary and daughter -hypernuclei is discussed. The intensity of -deexcitation of 13C state |S 12C(15·11 MeV; 1+1): 1/2+ has been shown to be comparable with the intensity of baryon decay. Isospin selection rules are used to distinguish excitation energy ranges of primary hypernuclei, where the identification of the secondary -lines is probable.Presented at the symposium Mesons and Light Nuclei, Bechyn, Czechoslovakia, May 27–June 1, 1985.  相似文献

We establish upper bounds for the spectral gap of the stochastic Ising model at low temperature in an N×N box, with boundary conditions which are plus except for small regions at the corners which are either free or minus. The spectral gap decreases exponentially in the size of the corner regions, when these regions are of size at least of order logN. This means that removing as few as O(logN) plus spins from the corners produces a spectral gap far smaller than the order N –2 gap believed to hold under the all-plus boundary condition. Our results are valid at all subcritical temperatures.  相似文献

When a small perturbation is applied to the plasma dispersion, a small shift of frequency due to correlation occurs. This is justified even for strong coupling, since the effect is proportional tok 2 (k is the wave vector) and it is sufficient to consider thek 0 limit. Then by solving the dispersion relations for, the shift of frequency due to correlation, at different angles of propagation, we obtain all information needed. The plasma modes in which we are primarily interested are the whistler and the extraordinary modes. In this work the STLS (Singwi, Tosi, Land, and Sjolander) approximation scheme is used. It is seen that the correlational effects enter only through terms of orderk 6 for the whistler mode and terms of orderk 2 for the nonresonant situation of the extraordinary mode.  相似文献

Let be an action of a compact abelian groupG on aC*-algebraA, and assume that the fixed-point subalgebraA is an AF-algebra. We show that if is a closed *-derivation onA commuting with , and the restriction of toA generates a one-parameter group of *-automorphisms, then itself is a generator. In particular, the result applies if is an infinite product action ofG on a UHF algebra. Furthermore, if in this situation 1 and 2 are two derivations both satisfying the hypotheses on , and 1 and 2 have the same restriction toA , then there exists a one-parameter subgroup of the action with generator 0 such thatD(1)D(2)D(0) is a joint core for the three derivations, and 2=1+0 on this core.  相似文献

We demonstrate with the example of Cahn-Hilliard dynamics that the macroscopic kinetics of first-order phase transitions exhibits an infinite number of constants of motion. Moreover, this result holds in any space dimension for a broad class of nonequilibrium processes whose macroscopic behavior is governed by equations of the form /t = W(), where is an order parameter,W is an arbitrary function of , and is a linear Hermitian operator. We speculate on the implications of this result.  相似文献
