采用在甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)悬浮聚合过程中滴加甲基丙烯酸-2-羟乙酯(HEMA)乳液聚合组分的悬浮-乳液耦合聚合方法,制备了大粒径聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯/聚甲基丙烯酸-2-羟乙酯(PMMA/PHEMA)复合微球。PMMA/PHEMA复合微球表面以HEMA乳液聚合物为主,且具有微孔结构。PMMA/PHEMA复合微球在水和苄醇中的平衡溶胀率大于PMMA微球。PMMA/PHEMA复合微球48h异丁苯丙酸负载百分比为35.6%,PMMA为27.6%。在磷酸盐缓冲液中释放时间达到360h,释放量占负载总量的82%;而PMMA微球的释放时间为216h,释放量仅占负载总量的60%。  相似文献

Nano-ZnO/poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) composite latex microspheres were synthesized by in-site emulsion polymerization. The interfacial compatibility between nano-ZnO particles and PMMA were improved by treating the surface of nano-ZnO particles hydrophobically using methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPTMS). TEM indicated that nano-ZnO particles present in nanosphere and have been encapsulated in the PMMA phase. FT-IR confirmed that MPTMS reacted with the nano-ZnO particle and copolymerized with MMA. It was clearly found from SEM that ZnO nanoparticles can be homogeneously dispersed in the PVC matrix. The absorbance spectrum of the nanocomposite polymer suggested that increasing the amount of nano-ZnO in composite particles could enhance the UV-shielding properties of the polymers. The nano-ZnO/PMMA composite particle could eliminate aggregation of ZnO nanoparticle and improve its compatibility with organic polymer. This means that the composite particles can be widely applied in lots of fields.  相似文献

 Composite polymer particles which contain poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and polystyrene (PS) components (PMMA/PS composite particle) were synthesized by the method of multistage soapless seeded emulsion polymerization. In this study, the process of multistage soapless seeded emulsion polymerization included two-stage polymerization, three-stage polymerization or four-stage polymerization. The morphologies of the PMMA/PS composite particles were studied. The kinetic factor was the main force to control the morphology of the linear PMMA–PS composite particles which were synthesized by the method of two-stage reaction. Both the kinetic factor and the thermodynamic factor decide the morphology of the linear composite particles which were synthesized by the method of either three-stage or four-stage reaction. However, the thermodynamic factor cannot influence the morphology of the PMMA/PS composite particles with a cross-linked structure which were synthesized by the method of three-stage reaction. The cross-linked composite polymer particles had the morphology of a multilayer structure, which showed that the polymer layers accumulated in their order of production. Polymeric microspheres of methyl methacrylate (PMMA) have been prepared via emulsion polymerization using potassium persulfate as initiator. The polymeric spheres were also prepared with varied concentration of an additional component, 2-vinyl-4,4′-dimethylazlactone (VDMA), which greatly affected the properties of the spheres. NMR analysis indicates the presence of VDMA in the polymer particles, and FT-IR analysis shows hydrolysis of VDMA in the polymer which produced N-acryloylmethylalanine, (NAMA). The VDMA hydrolysis thus led to carboxyl functionality which served to stabilize the microspheres during the emulsion polymerization showing a significant effect on particle size, distribution, and morphology, but little effect on molecular weight or thermal properties of the polymer. Also the effect of varying the concentration of initiator (potassium persulfate, KPS) was investigated, and had little effect on particle size or distribution or molecular weight of the polymer particles.  相似文献

Nanosized Ag particles were entrapped successfully in multihollow porous poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) microspheres by water-in-oil-in-water emulsion polymerization. The structure of the PMMA/Ag microspheres prepared was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray powder diffraction analysis. It was found that the Ag nanoparticles were impregnated in the inner voids of the microspheres and they had a face-centered cubic structure. In the preservation test, the PMMA/Ag microspheres showed a powerful antibacterial performance, indicating that the Ag ions released effectively through the nanosized pore channel of the PMMA wall.  相似文献

采用在苯乙烯 (St)悬浮聚合过程中滴加甲基丙烯酸甲酯 (MMA)乳液聚合组分的悬浮 乳液复合聚合方法 ,制备大粒径聚苯乙烯 聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯 (PS PMMA)复合粒子 .研究聚合物粒径分布和颗粒形态的变化发现 ,在St悬浮反应中期滴加MMA乳液聚合组分后 ,聚合体系逐渐由悬浮粒子与乳胶粒子并存向形成单峰分布复合粒子转变 ,最终形成核 壳结构完整的大粒径PS PMMA复合粒子 ;在St悬浮反应初期滴加MMA乳液聚合组分 ,St与MMA一起分散成更小液滴 ,反应后期凝并成非核 壳结构复合粒子 ;在St悬浮反应后期滴加MMA乳液聚合组分 ,PMMA乳胶粒子与PS悬浮粒子基本独立存在 .根据以上结果 ,提出了St MMA悬浮 乳液复合聚合的成粒机理 .  相似文献

Microspheres consisting of a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) shell wrapping the conductive polyaniline (PANI) particle as a core were prepared by an in-situ suspension polymerization method and then adopted as an electrorheological (ER) material. The polymerization reaction and encapsulation were confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectrum analysis. The rod-like PANI particles were synthesized via an emulsion polymerization protocol and observed by transmission electron microscopy. In addition, a spherical shape of encapsulated PANI/PMMA (core/shell) microspheres was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The thermal stability of PANI/PMMA particles was examined by use of thermogravimetric analysis. The PANI/PMMA particle-based suspension in silicone oil exhibited typical ER behavior. The conductivity of PANI/PMMA particles was much lower than that of the rod-like PANI.  相似文献

在纳米二氧化硅水分散介质中,借助于正离子单体甲基丙烯酰氧乙基三甲基氯化铵(MTC)与未改性纳米二氧化硅颗粒之间的电荷作用,通过MTC与甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)的自由基共聚合,制备了草莓型的PMMA/SiO2复合微球.整个制备反应过程中,纳米二氧化硅无需表面处理,体系中无需另外加入乳化剂或助乳化剂,微球表面吸附的纳米二氧化硅对颗粒起稳定作用.详细讨论了纳米二氧化硅初始添加量、MTC浓度对复合微球的平均粒径、复合微球中二氧化硅含量及微球形态的影响.动态光散射粒度分布仪(DLS)测得复合微球粒径在180~300 nm之间,热重分析(TGA)表明复合微球中二氧化硅含量介于16.4%~40.8%之间.透射电镜(TEM)显示所得复合微球具有草莓型结构,二氧化硅于表面富集.  相似文献

Uniform and stable core-shell microspheres composed of a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) core and a thin metallic shell of nickel-phosphorus, cobalt-phosphorus, or mixed metal alloys (CoNiP, NiFeP, CoFeP) were prepared by dispersion polymerization of methyl methacrylate followed by electroless plating. The presence of the metallic shell around the particles was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and photoelectron spectroscopy. Transmission electron microscopy images of the cross-section of individual particles show that the thickness of the metal/alloy can be precisely tuned by adjusting the immersion time of the microspheres in the electroless bath. Depending on the deposited metallic material, various magnetic properties, from paramagnetic to ferromagnetic, are achieved. Finally, uniform hollow metallic spheres composed of nickel, cobalt, or nickel-cobalt alloy are obtained by dissolving the polymer core.  相似文献

Submicron‐scaled cagelike polymer microspheres with hollow core/porous shell were synthesized by self‐assembling of sulfonated polystyrene (PS) latex particles at monomer droplets interface. The swelling of the PS latex particles by the oil phase provided a driving force to develop the hollow core. The latex particles also served as porogen that would disengage automatically during polymerization. Influential factors that control the morphology of the microspheres, including the reserving time of emulsions, polymerization rate, and the Hildebrand solubility parameter and polarity of the oil phase, were studied. A variety of monomers were polymerized into microspheres with hollow core/porous shell structure and microspheres with different diameters and pore sizes were obtained. 以聚乙烯基吡咯烷酮为分散剂、偶氮二异丁腈为引发剂、醇/水混合物为分散介质进行了苯乙烯的分散聚合,讨论了初始单体浓度、分散剂用量、引发剂浓度、分散介质组成和反应温度等反应条件对所得聚合物颗粒直径和直径分布的影响.通过大量的试验,筛选出了较为理想的分散聚合的条件及配方,制备出了粒径为48μm的单分散聚苯乙烯微球.然后,以分散聚合所制得的聚合物颗粒为种子,用动力学溶胀法制成了粒径增大近四倍的单分散、大粒径聚苯乙烯微球,并讨论了滴水速度和补加分散剂对溶胀的影响  相似文献

Polystyrene (PS) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) mixed polymer brushes on the surface of clay layers were prepared by using in situ free radical polymerization. Free radical initiator molecules with two quaternary ammonium groups at both ends were intercalated into the interlayer spacing of clay layers. The amount of polymer brushes grafted on the surface of clay layers can be controlled by controlling the polymerization time. Thermogravimetric analysis, X‐ray diffraction, and high‐resolution transmission electron microscope results indicated successful preparation of the mixed polymer brushes on the surface of clay layers. The kinetics of the grafting of the monomers was also studied. The mixed polymer brushes on the surface of clay layers were used as compatibilizers in blends of PS and PMMA. In the blends, the intercalated clay particles tend to locate at the interface of two phases reducing the interfacial tension. In the meanwhile, PMMA homopolymer chains tend to intercalate into clay layers. The driving force for the intercalation is the compatibility between homo‐PMMA chains and PMMA brushes on the surface of clay layers. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc)–poly(vinyl alcohol)–montmorillonite (MMT) nanocomposite microspheres were prepared through suspension polymerization followed by the heterogeneous saponification. The effects of MMT on the polymerization rate and the saponification rate of PVAc were studied. It was found that the rate of polymerization decreased when MMT content was increased. However, the saponification rate of PVAc significantly increased in the presence of nanoclay particles. The XRD measurement illustrated that the clay particles are intercalated in the polymer matrix.  相似文献

利用分子印迹技术,通过沉淀聚合方法合成了对4-氨基吡啶具有选择性结合能力的微球形分子模板聚合物.通过静态结合方法研究了该聚合物的选择性结合能力以及不同溶剂及引发剂的用量对聚合物形态及球状聚合物粒径大小的影响.底物选择性实验结果表明,与结构相似的化合物相比,4-氨基吡啶球形分子模板聚合物对4-氨基吡啶显示出强的选择性.  相似文献

Narrow-disperse, surface-functionalized "living" polymer microspheres with uniformly cross-linked structures were prepared by two-stage precipitation copolymerization of styrene and divinylbenzene. The two-stage precipitation polymerization is composed of an initial conventional precipitation polymerization for the nucleation followed by a reverse atom transfer radical polymerization(reverse ATRP) for the controlled polymerization process. The polymerization parameters(including reaction time for the first stage, AIBN amount and monomer loading) have been studied to show significant influences on the morphologies. Moreover, narrower size distribution and an ATRP initiator-functional surface of resulting particles can be obtained by applying reverse ATRP to conventional precipitation polymerization in the second stage. Furthermore, the "livingness" of the resulting polymer microspheres was testified by their surface modification of poly[2-(dimethylamino) ethyl methacrylate](PDMAEMA) brushes via surface-initiated ATRP(SI-ATRP).  相似文献

Summary: We previously discovered that structurally well-defined polymer/inorganic composite particles, i.e., poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/CaCO3/SiO2 three-component composite particles, can be achieved via reverse atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), using 2,2′-azo-bis-isobutyronitrile as initiator and CuII bromide as catalyst. In the present study, the influence of the mass ratio of CaCO3/SiO2 two-component composite particles to methyl methacrylate (MMA) on the rate and behavior of the polymerization was studied in detail. The results illustrate that increasing the mass ratio of CaCO3/SiO2 two-component composite particles will decrease the overall rate of polymerization of MMA under standard reverse ATRP conditions. Thermal properties of the obtained well-defined particles were characterized and determined by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The results indicate that well-defined PMMA chains grafted on the surface of CaCO3/SiO2 particles were only degraded by random chain scission of C C linkages within the PMMA chain, which is different from the degradation of PMMA chains prepared via traditional radical polymerization. This difference is reasonably ascribed to the difference between the end groups of PMMA prepared via reverse ATRP and that via traditional radical polymerization, which has been confirmed by end group analysis measured by 1H–NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Homogenously dispersed TiO2/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) composite microspheres were produced in the size range of 1-10µm and the interfacial characteristics of TiO2 and PMMA in suspension polymerization were considered. In electron microscopy observation, it was found that TiO2 nanoparticles were embedded homogeneously in the PMMA phase. This study elucidates that the interfacial compatibility between TiO2 and PMMA played a decisive role in producing the composite microspheres structured with inner TiO2 and continuous PMMA, which was achieved by treating the surface of the TiO2 particles hydrophobically. The TiO2/PMMA composite microspheres produced showed good ability to protect against UV rays and are therefore of great usefulness in cosmetic formulations.  相似文献

Monodisperse microspheres of polystyrene with diameters in the size range I -2.2(μm) were prepared by the radiation-induced dispersion polymerization. The polystyrene microspheres by radiation-induced in the presence of co- solvent (DMSO-H2) was investigated as functions of various factors such as irradiation time, irradiation dose rate, the amount of water and on or not stirring et al. The number of the nuclei produced in the early stage of the polymerization was found to be constant during the remainder of the polymerization. The nuclei grow to be monodisperse polymer particles without aggregation under appropriate conditions, This is attributed to the low mobility of the growing polymer particles.  相似文献
