2006年上半年进行了距离为3 200 m的光束传输实验,对到达角起伏进行了24 h昼夜观测。实验中,每分钟进行一次连续测量,每次以1 kHz的信号采样频率连续采集10 s,得到10 000个到达角起伏实验数据,并反映了0.2~500 Hz频段的信息。根据高采样频率下的到达角起伏昼夜观测数据,分析了到达角起伏效应,并通过到达角起伏时间平滑因子,对曝光时间的平滑作用进行了研究。昼夜观测实验结果表明:在天气阴霾、能见度低的情况下,到达角起伏会显著减小;在强湍流区,到达角起伏出现饱和效应,在弱湍流区,到达角起伏的强度随着湍流强度的增加而增强;到达角起伏幅度随着曝光时间的增加而减小,由归一化协方差拟合关系得到的时间平滑因子计算结果与实验直接分析得到的结果一致。  相似文献

基于修正Kolmogorov谱,运用相位结构函数的平方近似,导出了适用于大天顶角传输的到达角起伏方差及其功率谱的解析表达式.研究结果表明,新导出的方差表达式在任意天顶角都是适用的.散射盘尺度和接收孔径对到达角起伏起平滑作用,当接收孔径远大于散射盘尺度时,由于孔径平滑作用,导出的表达式在任意天顶角都可以近似为弱起伏理论给出的结果;当接收孔径小于散射盘尺度时,散射盘尺度的平滑作用明显,接收孔径的平滑作用相对较小,传统的到达角起伏理论仅在小天顶角是适用的,在大天顶角必须用新导出的方差表达式.当接收孔径D<25 cm时,弱起伏理论给出的表达式的适用范围被限制在小于50°~70°的天顶角内.  相似文献

研究了在弱大气湍流起伏环境下以窄带宽高斯谢尔光束为激光光源的大气通信问题,分析了大气湍流强度和光源空间相干度对通信光束到达角起伏的影响.采用窄带宽光场的交叉谱密度函数代替光场互相干函数的近似方法和采用包含大气湍流内外尺度的简化折射率谱密度函数,得出了湍流大气中传输高斯谢尔光束的波结构函数(WSF) 和到达角起伏方差解析近似关系.分析表明,光源的空间相干度和传输光束的湍流扩展是影响高斯谢尔光束的相位起伏结构函数和传输光束到达角起伏的重要因素.  相似文献

为研究大气结构常数、湍流特征尺度、跟踪距离以及接收孔径对激光跟踪系统角精度的影响,采用同时包含湍流内尺度和外尺度影响的综合湍流谱对大气湍流中激光到达角起伏引起的激光跟踪系统角误差进行了数值模拟。结果表明:激光跟踪系统测角精度与系统接收孔径大小有关,并随大气结构常数和跟踪距离的增大而降低;湍流内尺度和外尺度仅在有限范围内影响跟踪系统角精度。分析结果可为系统设计提供参考。  相似文献

引入非科尔莫戈罗夫 (Kolmogorov)湍流情况下的归一化相位空间功率谱 ,针对 G倾斜和Z倾斜两种情形 ,分别推导了非科尔莫戈罗夫湍流情况下光学波前的到达角起伏方差与相位空间功率谱指数下降因子β和归一化大气湍流相干长度ρ0 之间的关系。结果表明 ,对于 2 <β <4 ,非科尔莫戈罗夫湍流情况下光学波前的到达角起伏方差随着β的增加而增大 ,β相同时 ,G倾斜方差总是小于 Z倾斜方差。  相似文献

研究了部分相干高斯谢尔光束在大气湍流中的到达角起伏.主要采用湍流内外尺度的修正Von Karmon谱模型及广义惠更斯-菲涅尔原理和交叉谱密度函数推导出了部分相干光在大气湍流中的到达角起伏表达式.对比分析了湍流内外尺度、湍流强度、传输距离、源相干参数以及波长等参数对部分相干光在大气湍流水平路径上传输时的到达角起伏的影响.结果表明:随着传输距离的增加,到达角起伏越来越小;随着大气湍流内外尺度和源相干参数的增加,到达角起伏也越来越大;与部分相干光相比,完全相干光的到达角起伏受湍流影响很小;随着波长和湍流强度的减小,到达角起伏越来越小.  相似文献

With the development of wireless communication, free-space optical (FSO) communication is becoming a highly promising technology. In this paper, we consider the covert FSO communication between two legitimate peers in the presence of an external warden. We establish a system model under a nonnegativity constraint, a peak optical intensity constraint, an average optical intensity constraint and a covertness constraint. For the considered system, the optimal input signal is shown to follow a uniform distribution. Based on the optimal input signal and covertness constraint, we obtain an upper bound that should be satisfied by the transmitter’s peak optical intensity, which provides a basis for the transmitter to set the transmit optical intensity. We also derive the upper bound of maximum amount of information transmitted covertly, which reveals the fundamental performance limit of covert FSO communication. Finally, we verify the theoretical analysis by numerical simulations.  相似文献

Circular polarization shift keying (CPolSK) modulation technique has many advantages such as excellent BER performance and freedom from the alignment of polarization coordinates of the transmitter and the receiver, etc., and it turns out to be a good choice to FSO system. In this paper, a FSO system using CPolSK modulation is studied by simulation; it is found that the communication performance of the system is excellent in most weather condition. Additionally, three ways of optical signal amplification are proposed, and contrastive analysis on performance of corresponding optical amplification systems is carried out by examining SNR、BER and transmission distance with different specific attenuation. The results show that the system with optical amplifier at the transmitter have the optimum performance, and then the system with optical amplifier at the both ends with the same total gain, it is worst for the system with optical amplifier at the receiver. In addition, the safety factor for high emission power induced by optical amplification is also considered in this paper for practical application. The study above may be utilized in the system design for enhancing performance.  相似文献

A method of on-ground simulation of optical links for free-space communications by Fourier-transform, image magnification and wavefront sampling with limited apertures was proposed. An optical simulator for free-space laser links was designed, which has the range of equivalent links distances from 160,000 km to 25 km. It can be used for the evaluation of communication performances of optical links in space, particularly for measuring the bit error rate under a constant transmission distance or for testing the equivalent transmission distance under a constant bit error rate. System analysis indicates that the wavefront aberrations of Fourier-transform lens have the main influence on the measurement results. But these effects can be corrected only if the RMS value of wavefront aberrations of Fourier-transform lens on the work aperture is known. Simulation experiment further shows that this method will be feasible by providing excellent optical devices and fine calibration accuracy and by overcoming the environmental disturbances.  相似文献

High-speed free-space optical communication systems have recently used fiber-optical components. The coupling efficiency with which the received laser beam can be coupled into a single-mode fiber is noticeably limited by atmospheric turbulence due to the degradation of its spatial coherence. Fortunately, adaptive optics (AO) can alleviate this limitation by partially correcting the turbulence-distorted wavefront. The coupling efficiency improvement provided by Zernike modal AO correction is numerically evaluated. It is found that the first 3-20 corrected polynomials can considerably improve the fiber-coupling efficiency. The improvement brought by AO is compared with that brought by a coherent fiber array. Finally, a hybrid technique that integrates AO and a coherent fiber array is proposed. Results show that the hybrid technique outperforms each of the two above-mentioned techniques.  相似文献

In this paper, we address several optimization problems in satellite optical communications. We show that the inter-satellite links with swaying transmitters can be described as an equivalent fading model. We further indicate that the instantaneous signal-to-noise ratio follows the reciprocal Pareto distribution. Then we conduct the analysis on several performance metrics such as the first and second moments of signal-to-noise ratio, the amount of fading, as well as the outage probability. Based on these metrics, we establish optimization models and provide the corresponding solutions.  相似文献

The line width of a tunable optical filter based on free-space optics was analyzed. The relationship between the line width and the Gaussian beam waist was theoretically derived and experimentally verified. The bit-error-rate (BER) performance of coherent free-space optical (FSO) links employing phase compensation techniques is investigated in weak non-Kolmogorov turbulence. Assuming that the amplitude fading and phase fluctuation follow lognormal model and Gaussian distribution respectively and using the expression of non-Kolmogorov turbulence in terms of Zernike polynomials, the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at the coherent receiver is analyzed and as a special case, a new closed-form expression using chi-square distribution is obtained. Thus, the influence of different compensation modes and normalized receiver diameter on BER performance is evaluated and an optimum normalized receiver diameter is suggested to achieve the minimum BER. Moreover, the impact of outer scale L0 and the exponent value α in non-Kolmogorov spectrum is studied with the optimum diameter, which reveals that the BER has an obvious decrease with larger values of L0 and α.  相似文献
