We obtain a new relation between Green's functions of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for stationary potentials and Green's functions of the same equation for certain time-dependent potentials. The relation obtained here emerges very easily from a transformation introduced by Ray [J.R. Ray, Phys. Rev. A26 (1982) 729] and generalizes former work of Dodonov, et al. [V.V. Dodonov, V.I. We present an accurate and efficient generalized pseudospectral method for solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for atomic systems interacting with intense laser fields. In this method, the time propagation of the wave function is calculated using the well-known second-order split-operator method implemented by the numerically exact, fast transform between the grid and spectral representations. In the grid representation, the radial coordinate is discretized using the Coulomb wave discrete variable representation (CWDVR), and the angular dependence of the wave function is expanded in the Gauss-Legendre-Fourier grid. In the spectral representation, the wave function is expanded in terms of the eigenfunctions of the field-free zero-order Hamiltonian. Calculations on the high order harmonic generation and ionization dynamics of hydrogen atom in strong laser pulses are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the present method. This new algorithm will be found more computationally attractive than the close-coupled wave packet method using CWDVR and/or methods based on evenly spaced grids.  相似文献

By using the generally projective Riccati equation method, more new exact travelling wave solutions to extended nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE), which describes the femtosecond pulse propagation in monomode optical fiber, are found, which include bright soliton solution, dark soliton solution, new solitary waves, periodic solutions, and rational solutions. The finding of abundant solution structures for extended NLSE helps to study the movement rule of femtosecond pulse propagation in monomode optical fiber.  相似文献

For an exponentially position-dependent mass, we obtain the exact solutions of the three-dimensional Schrödinger equation by using coordinate transformation method for the reference problems with Coulomb potential, Kratzer potential, and spherically square potential well of infinite depth, respectively. The symmetries, symmetry reductions, and exact solutions of a coupled nonlinear Schrodinger (CNLS) equation derived from the governing system for atmospheric gravity waves are researched by means of classical Lie group approach in this paper. Calculation shows the CNLS equation is invariant under some Galilean transformations, scaling transformations, phase shifts, and space-time translations. Some ordinary differential equations are derived from the CNLS equation. Several exact solutions including envelope cnoidal waves, solitary waves and trigonometric function solutions for the CNLS equation are also obtained by making use of symmetries.  相似文献

With the aid of a class of nonlinear ordinary differential equation (ODE) and its various positive solutions, four types of exact solutions of the generalized derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equation (GDNLSE) have been found out, which are the bell-type solitary wave solution, the algebraic solitary wave solution, the kink-type solitary wave solution and the sinusoidal traveling wave solution, provided that the coefficients of GDNLSE satisfy certain constraint conditions. A systematic method which is based on the classical Lie group reduction is used to find the novel exact solution of the cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equation (CQNLS) with varying dispersion, nonlinearity, and gain or absorption. Algebraic solitary-wave as well as kink-type solutions in three kinds of optical fibers represented by coefficient varying CQNLS equations are studied in detail. Some new exact solutions of optical solitary wave with a simple analytic form in these models are presented. Appropriate solitary wave solutions are applied to discuss soliton propagation in optical fibres, and the amplification and compression of pulses in optical fibre amplifiers.  相似文献

A one-dimensional harmonic oscillator with position-dependent effective mass is studied. We quantize the oscillator to obtain a quantum Hamiltonian, which is manifestly Hermitian in configuration space, and the exact solutions to the corresponding Schrödinger equation are obtained analytically in terms of modified Hermite polynomials. It is shown that the obtained solutions reduce to those of simple harmonic oscillator as the position dependence of the mass vanishes.  相似文献

Using an improved approximate formula to the centrifugal term, we present arbitrary l-state scattering solutions of the hyperbolic potential. The approximate analytical formula of scattering phase shifts and normalized wavefunctions are presented. All data calculated by the above approximate analytical formula are compared with those obtained by using the numerical integration method in the scattering state cases. We find that this improved approximate formula is better than previous one since the calculated results are in good agreement with those exact ones.  相似文献

Applying the similarity transformation,we construct the exact vortex solutions for topological charge S ≥ 1 and the approximate fundamental soliton solutions for S = 0 of the two-dimensional cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrdinger equation with spatially modulated nonlinearities and harmonic potential.The linear stability analysis and numerical simulation are used to exam the stability of these solutions.In different profiles of cubic-quintic nonlinearities,some stable solutions for S ≥ 0 and the lowest radial quantum number n = 1 are found.However,the solutions for n ≥ 2 are all unstable.  相似文献

An explicit N-fold Darboux transformation with multiparameters for nonlinear Schrödinger equation is constructed with the help of its Lax pairs and a reduction technique. According to this Darboux transformation, the solutions of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation are reduced to solving a linear algebraic system, from which a unified and explicit formulation of N-soliton solutions with multiparameters for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation is given.  相似文献
