Quantum superposition is one of the essential features that make quantum computation surpass classical computation in space complexity and time complexity. However, it is a double-edged sword. For example, it is troublesome to add all the numbers stored in a superposition state. The usual solution is taking out and adding the numbers one by one. If there are \(2^{n}\) numbers, the complexity of this scheme is \(O(2^{n})\) which is the same as the complexity of the classical scheme \(O(2^{n})\). Moreover, taking account to the current physical computing speed, quantum computers will have no advantage. In order to solve this problem, a new method for summing all numbers in a quantum superposition state is proposed in this paper, whose main idea is that circularly shifting the superposition state and summing the new one with the original superposition state. Our scheme can effectively reduce the time complexity to \(O(n)\). 相似文献

We propose a quantum teleportation scheme for tripartite entangled coherent state (ECS) with continuous variable. Our scheme is feasible and economical in the sense that we need only linear optical devices such as beam splitters, phase shifters and photon detectors and employ three bipartite maximally ECSs as quantum channels. We also generalize the tripartite scheme into multipartite ease and calculate the minimum average fidelity for the schemes in tripartite and multipartite cases. 相似文献

Abstract According to the protocol of Agrawal et al., we propose a cavity QED scheme for realization of teleportation and dense coding. Instead of using EPR states and GHZ states, our scheme is more insensitive to the loss of one particle by using a W-class state as a quantum channel. We describe a protocol for quantum state teleportation via mixed entangled pairs. With the help of an ancilla, near-perfect teleportation might be achieved. For pure entangled pairs, perfect teleportation might be achieved with a certain probability without using an ancilla. In this paper, a quantum authencryption protocol is proposed by using the two-photon entangled states as the quantum resource. Two communicants Alice and Bob share two private keys in advance, which determine the generation of two-photon entangled states. The sender Alice sends the two-photon entangled state sequence encoded with her classical bits to the receiver Bob in the manner of one-step quantum transmission. Upon receiving the encoded quantum state sequence, Bob decodes out Alice’s classical bits with the two-photon joint measurements and authenticates the integrity of Alice’s secret with the help of one-way hash function. The proposed protocol only uses the one-step quantum transmission and needs neither a public discussion nor a trusted third party. As a result, the proposed protocol can be adapted to the case where the receiver is off-line, such as the quantum E-mail systems. Moreover, the proposed protocol provides the message authentication to one bit level with the help of one-way hash function and has an information-theoretical efficiency equal to 100 %. 相似文献

In this paper, an efficient proposal for quantum controlled teleporatation of arbitrary multi-qubit states is presented via three-qubit non-maximally entangled states. The successful probability is viewed as one of the most important performance parameters for quantum teleportation. The significant advantage of our scheme is that the successful probability is independent of the coefficients of partially entangled states, and is always equal to 100% in spite of using non-maximally quantum channel. From the concrete implementation processes of this proposal, it could be found that only the usual Bell-state measurement, simple single-qubit projective measurement and common single-qubit local unitary operations, of which the physical realization has been widely explored, need to be performed without the introduction of auxiliary particles. 相似文献
