在"星光-Ⅱ"激光装置上,聚焦1.06 μm激光束于真空室内氪气体喷射靶上,产生氪元素激光等离子体.用PET(2d=0.8742 nm)平晶谱仪测量了氪激光等离子体5.25~7.55 范围的X射线发射谱.基于准相对论多组态理论,考虑了CI作用和Breit修正,采用COWAN程序计算了氪的类C到类Mg离子3-2和4-2共振跃迁波长和跃迁几率.16条氪的类N至类F离子 - 共振线得到辨识和归类.本工作对于积累氪元素离子谱线数据具有重要的意义.  相似文献

The invention of high-power, ultra-short-pulse lasers has opened the way to investigations aimed at the creation of a new type of bright X-ray source for various uses including material science applications and time-resolved X-ray diffraction for biology. The efficiency with which laser energy incident on a solid target is converted into an X-ray emission depends on many factors, including the temporal profile of the laser pulse. Here we report the results of our theoretical and experimental investigations of the line X-ray emission from layered solid targets irradiated by ultra-short laser pulses. The laser prepulse parameters and target thickness are optimized to convert the maximum laser energy into an emission in the selected X-ray line. Multilayer foils are proposed to increase the energy of the K-line emission from laser plasma while simultaneously keeping the X-ray pulse duration at a hundred femtoseconds. The emission is studied both experimentally and theoretically by means of an analytical model and numerical simulations. PACS 52.38.Ph; 52.38.Dx; 52.50.Jm  相似文献

A comparative experimental study of the X-ray emission in the water-window spectral region has been performed using carbon nanofibers (CNFs) of different sizes and graphite plate targets, irradiated with ultra-short (Ti:sapphire) laser pulses. More than an order of magnitude enhancement in the X-ray yield is observed from CNFs of 60-nm diameter with respect to graphite targets. The X-ray emission from CNFs of 160-nm diameter was also high. The integrated X-ray yield of these carbon-based targets scales with the laser intensity (I L) as IL ~ 1.3-1.4I_{\mathrm{L}}^{\sim 1.3-1.4} in the intensity range of 4×1016–4×1017 W/cm2. The effect of the laser pulse duration on the X-ray emission from the CNFs was also studied by varying the pulse duration from 45 fs up to 3 ps at a constant fluence of 2×104 J/cm2. The optimum laser pulse duration for maximum X-ray emission increases with the diameter of the CNFs used. The results are explained from physical considerations of heating and hydrodynamic expansion of the CNF plasma in which resonance field enhancement takes place while passing through two times the critical density. The results add to the efforts towards achieving an efficient low-cost water-window X-ray source for microscopy.  相似文献

用150fs的掺钛蓝宝石激光系统, 在功率密度约为5×1015 W/cm2时 激励氩(Ar)团簇,利用具有空间分辨能力的平场光栅谱仪观察到13—23nm波段Ar的软x射线谱,并观察到Ar的11阶离子谱线.在较宽的激光脉宽和较低的激光功率密度情况下,通过激励Ar团簇,获得 了Ar的高阶电离度的实验结果,且谱线的信噪比明显好于光场感应电离的情况,说明团簇的 形成大幅度地提高了激光能量的吸收效率. 关键词: Ar团簇 超短强激光 软x射线辐射  相似文献

A continuum spectrum of X-rays, originating from the interaction of a moderate intensity nanosecond Nd:Yag laser (1064 nm, 9 ns, 30 Hz, 900 mJ, 1011 W/cm2) with metal targets producing plasma, is investigated. The photon emission intensity is particularly high when the plasma expands in a low-pressure gas. The photon energy is measured through selective thin absorber films employed in front of the solid state detector. The temperature of the hot electrons generated from the plasma, responsible for the continuum spectrum emission, is calculated from the fit of the X-ray spectrum with a Maxwellian distribution, and it is about 1–2 keV.  相似文献

The interaction of femtosecond laser pulses with solid targets was studied through experiments and particle-in-cell (PIC) simulations. It is proved that the vacuum heating and the inverse bremsstralung process are the main mechanisms of the laser pulse absorption under such conditions. The distribution of hot electrons and that of X-ray are found to have double-temperature structure, which is confirmed by PIC simulations. While the lower temperature is attributed to the resonant absorption, the higher one, however, is caused by the laser-induced electric field in the target normal direction. The time-integrated spectra ofthe reflected laser pulse shows that the mechanism of electron acceleration is determined by the plasma density profile.  相似文献

Quasi-static transverse currents produced by laser field ionization of gases and the longitudinal modulation in formed plasmas are responsible for the THz emission at the electron plasma frequency, as demonstrated by particle-in-cell simulations including field ionization. Backward emission of the supercontinuum from a light filament induced by high-intensity femtosecond laser pulses propagating in air has been observed to be enhanced compared with linear Rayleigh-Mie scattering. This enhancement is interpreted as a nonlinear scattering process onto longitudinal refractive-index changes induced by the laser pulse itself. The spectral dependence of the supercontinuum angular distribution is also investigated.  相似文献

Experimental results are presented for proton acceleration from the back of a target irradiated by laser pulses with intensities up to 2 × 1019 W/cm2 generated by the SOKOL-P facility. The proton acceleration efficiency increases with decreasing of the target thickness. However, thin targets are destroyed by the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) prepulse before the main pulse arrival. An additional optical switch based on a Pockels cell has been used in the amplification section to carry out the experiments with ultrathin foils. As a result, the energy contrast with respect to the ASE prepulse has been increased up to 4 × 106. Owing to high contrast, the experiments on studying proton acceleration from foils with thicknesses less than 100 nm have been carried out.  相似文献

Energy relaxation of the hot electron population generated by relativistic laser pulses in overdense plasma is analyzed for densities ranging from below to 1000 times solid density. It is predicted that longitudinal beam-plasma instabilities, which dominate energy transfer between hot electrons and plasma at lower densities, are suppressed by collisions beyond solid density. The respective roles of collisional energy transfer modes, i.e., direct collisions, diffusion, and resistive return current heating, are identified with respect to plasma density. The transition between the kinetic and the collisional regimes and scalings of collisional process are demonstrated by a fully integrated one-dimensional collisional particle simulation.  相似文献

It is shown experimentally that the mean energy of accelerated electrons generated by irradiating a dense target with a pair of 13-ns-delay femtosecond laser pulses forming radiation with an energy contrast of 100–500 and an intensity of about 1018 W/cm2 increases significantly in comparison with the case of high contrast ~106.  相似文献

对强飞秒激光聚焦在空气中所激发的等离子体的发射光谱进行了实验研究.结果表明,光谱特征表现为短波段(截至波长为340 nm)强烈的连续谱和长波段(波长在800 nm附近)强度相对较低的线光谱.在脉冲宽度(50 fs)保持不变而不断调节激光脉冲能量时,等离子体光谱形状的特征基本相似;当激光脉冲能量(1 mJ)保持不变而脉冲宽度从50 fs增加至500 fs和1 ps时,连续谱的峰值(500 nm)显得格外突出,并开始呈现出线光谱特征. 关键词: 飞秒激光 激光空气等离子体 发射光谱 线光谱  相似文献

 采用短脉冲强激光辐照固体双层薄靶的方式对质子束的产生及质子束角分布开展了实验研究。在SILEX-Ⅰ短脉冲激光装置上利用脉宽为30 fs的强激光辐照背面镀有CH膜的金膜靶,在距离靶背3.3 cm处采用CR39记录靶背出射的质子角分布。通过分析靶背出射质子的角分布,研究了激光功率密度和对比度对质子加速机制的影响。研究结果表明:占主导地位的质子产生和加速机制对激光预脉冲比较敏感。激光预脉冲较弱时,靶背壳电场加速机制占主导地位;当激光预脉冲较强时,靶前加速机制占主导地位。此外,还对导致质子环形分布的磁场大小进行了估算。  相似文献

X-ray spectra from nitrogen clusters irradiated with ultrashort laser pulses are reported. The line spectra of H-like and He-like nitrogen ions have been observed by irradiation with 100 fs, 800 nm pulses at 7×1017 W/cm2 irradiance. The generation of highly charged ions of N6+ and N7+ is explained by the optical field-induced ionization and the subsequent collisional ionizations in the clusters. The He-δline has anomalously high brightness compared to other He-like lines. It is ascribed to charge exchange, which preferentially populates the n=5 level of N5+.
