 The 3He(4He, γ)7Be and 3H(4He, γ)7Li reactions are studied in an extended two-cluster model which contains α + h/t and 6Li + p/n clusterizations. We show that the inclusion of the 6Li + p/n channels can significantly change the zero-energy reaction cross sections, S(0), and other properties of the 7Be and 7Li nuclei, like the quadrupole moments Q. However, the results agree with the known correlation trend between S(0) and Q. Moreover, we demonstrate that the value of the zero-energy derivatives of the astrophysical S-factors are more uncertain than currently believed. The 6He + 6,7Li and 6He + 12C scattering and reactions have been studied using an 18-MeV 6He beam. Experimental results for the elastic scattering on all three targets are in fair agreement with optical model predictions, using the potentials found in the analysis of the 6Li scattering on the same targets and at close beam energies. Several two-body exit channels show clear signatures of a direct reaction mechanism allowing extraction of spectroscopic information. The measured angular distribution for the 6He + 6Li → α + 8Li reaction indicated close similarity between the α + 2n configuration in 6He and the α + d configuration in 6Li. The obtained results for α-particle pickup from both 6Li and 7Li give large values of α spectroscopic factors for some 10Be states, indicating their well-developed α + 6He cluster structure. The exotic two-proton pickup reaction (6He, 8Be) was studied, as well as two-neutron and triton transfer reactions. Quasi-free scattering of 6He on deuteron and α particle in 6Li was also observed. The sequential decay reactions 6He + 6Li → 6He + α + d, 6He + 6Li → 2α + t + n, 6He + 7Li → 6He + α + t, and 6He + 12C → 10Be + 2α were clearly seen, and α clustering of some states in 6,7Li, 8–10Be, and 14C was thus studied. Several new spectroscopic results obtained for some 10Be states support the existence of a molecule-like rotational band in 10Be with a very large moment of inertia. The differential cross section of the charge-exchange reaction p(6He, n)6Li(0+, 3.56 MeV) is calculated within the context of direct mechanisms: the stripping of a heavy 5He cluster, replacing a virtual neutron with a proton in the 5He cluster field, and the mechanism of consecutive transfer of a neutron and an α particle. The spatial structure of initial and final nucleus is determined from the dependence of various direct mechanisms contributions from spatial configurations.  相似文献

Large cross-section reaction channels were measured in the systems 6Li( 7Li) + 208Pb with high statistical accuracy at 5(3) energies around the Coulomb barrier from 29 to 39 MeV. These channels were assigned (mainly) to the breakup of 6Li, very loosely bound, into α + d and to the breakup of 5Li, produced by n-transfer to the target, into α + p and to similar processes with 7Li beam. The cross-sections with 6Li, S α = 1.475 MeV, are systematically larger than the 7Li ones. This reflects, most likely, the higher binding energy of 7Li, S α = 2.468 MeV. Theoretical predictions for the 6Li + 208Pb system which include for 6Li breakup to continuum states within a continuum discretized coupled-channels approach (CDCC) and resonant breakup plus n-transfer with DWBA reproduce the angular distribution shapes but still underestimate the cross-sections by a factor ∼ 3. Among von Neumann algebras, the Weyl algebra W{\mathcal{W}} generated by two unitary groups {U(α)} and {V(β)}, the algebra U{\mathcal{U}} generated by a completely non-unitary semigroup of isometries {U +(α)} and the Weyl algebra W+h{\mathcal{W}_{+}^{h}} pertaining to a semi-bounded space with homogeneous spectrum of the generator of {V(β)}, all share the property that their representations are completely reducible and the irreducible representations are equivalent. We trace this fact to the identity of these algebras, in the sense that any of them contains a representation of any of the remaining two algebras, which in turn contains the original algebra. We prove this statement by explicit construction. The aforementioned results about the representations of the algebras follow immediately from the proof for any of them. Also, by the above construction we prove for Wh+{\mathcal{W}^{h}_{+}} the analog of a theorem by Sinai for W{\mathcal{W}} : given {V(β)} with semi-bounded homogeneous spectrum, there exists a completely non-unitary semigroup {U +(α)} such that {V(β)} and {U +(α)} generate W+h{\mathcal{W}_{+}^{h}}.  相似文献

The Doppler-free laser-spectroscopic frequency measurement of Doppler-shifted optical lines in forward and backward direction of a fast ion beam permits a sensitive test of the relativistic Doppler-formula and, hence, the relativistic time dilation factor . An experiment on metastable 7Li+, stored at a velocity of v = 0.064c in the Heidelberg heavy-ion storage ring TSR, has confirmed time dilation with unprecedented accuracy. Latest tests at two different ion-velocities (v = 0.03c and v = 0.064c) will enhance these measurements. An improved version of this experiment will be carried out at the experimental storage ring (ESR) at the Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung (GSI) in Darmstadt. The ESR permits 7Li+ to be stored at v = 0.33c which promises an improvement of the sensitivity to deviations from γ SR by an order of magnitude. A first test at the ESR has shown the feasibility for this kind of experiment.  相似文献

A high-resolution spectrometer based on a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) was developed and used to determine the line strength S(T 0)=12.53(11)×10−21 cm−1/(molec cm−2) and the self-broadening coefficient g0HCl=0.021787(61)\gamma^{0}_{\mathrm{HCl}}=0.021787(61)  cm−1/atm of the R(3) absorption line in the first rovibrational overtone (2←0) band of H35Cl. Furthermore, the first laser-based high-pressure study on the pressure broadening of HCl by He, N2 and O2(g0N2=0.07292(5)\mathrm{O}_{2}(\gamma^{0}_{\mathrm{N}_{2}}=0.07292(5)  cm−1/atm, g0He=0.02113(1)\gamma^{0}_{\mathrm{He}}=0.02113(1)  cm−1/atm, g0O2=0.03978(6)\gamma^{0}_{\mathrm{O}_{2}}=0.03978(6)  cm−1/atm) is presented covering pressures of up to 1 MPa. At the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI, Villigen, Switzerland) the beam of low-energy positive polarised muons (LE-μ +) with tunable energy between 0.5 and 30 keV allows the extension of the muon-spin-rotation technique (μSR) to studies on thin films and multi-layers (LE-μ +SR). The range of these muons in solids covers the near-surface region up to implantation depths of about 300 nm. As a sensitive local magnetic probe with a complementary observational time window to other techniques LE-μ +SR offers the unique possibility to gain new insights in these nano-scale objects. After outlining the current status of the LE-μ + beam line we demonstrate the potential of this new technique by presenting the results of recent experiments: i) the direct observation of non-local effects in a superconducting Pb film, ii) the oxygen isotope effect on the in-plane penetration depth in optimally doped , and iii) the first observation of the conduction electron spin polarisation in the Ag spacer of a Fe/Ag/Fe tri-layer.  相似文献

The current discrepancy of theory and experiment observed recently in muonic hydrogen necessitates a reinvestigation of all corrections to contribute to the Lamb shift in muonic hydrogen (μH), muonic deuterium (μD), the muonic \hbox{3He{}^3{\rm He}} 3 He ion (denoted here as μ 3He+), as well as in the muonic \hbox{4He{}^4{\rm He}} 4 He ion (μ 4He+). Here, we choose a semi-analytic approach and evaluate a number of higher-order corrections to vacuum polarization (VP) semi-analytically, while remaining integrals over the spectral density of VP are performed numerically. We obtain semi-analytic results for the second-order correction, and for the relativistic correction to VP. The self-energy correction to VP is calculated, including the perturbations of the Bethe logarithms by vacuum polarization. Subleading logarithmic terms in the radiative-recoil correction to the 2S–2P Lamb shift of order α()5 μ 3ln() / (m μ m N ) are also obtained. All calculations are nonperturbative in the mass ratio of orbiting particle and nucleus.  相似文献

We calculate the important next-to-leading-order (NLO) contributions to the BKK * decays from the vertex corrections, the quark loops, and the magnetic penguins in the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach. The pQCD predictions for the CP-averaged branching ratios are , , and Br(B 0K + K *−+K K *+)≈1.3×10−7, which agree well with both the experimental upper limits and the predictions based on the QCD factorization approach. Furthermore, the CP violating asymmetries of the considered decay modes are also evaluated. The NLO pQCD predictions for and decays are and .  相似文献

The decay of the isotopes 255Rf, 251No and 247Fm produced in the reactions , and was investigated by means of α-γ spectroscopy. Previously observed γ transitions in coincidence with α decays of 255Rf were confirmed, their energies and line intensities were measured more precisely, and their multipolarities were determined as E1. In 251No a new isomeric state at E * > 1700keV with a half-life of ≈ 2μs was identified. The decay of 247Fm was measured more precisely. A partial level scheme of the daughter nucleus 243Cf could be established.  相似文献

The record of atomic clock frequency comparisons at NIST over the past half-decade provides one of the tightest constraints of any present-day temporal variations of the fundamental constants. Notably, the 6-year record of increasingly precise measurements of the absolute frequency of the Hg+ single-ion optical clock (using the cesium primary frequency standard NIST-F1) constrains the temporal variation of the fine structure constant α to less than 2 · 10−6yr−1 and offers a Local Position Invariance test in the framework of General Relativity. The most recent measurement of the frequency ratio of the Al+ and Hg+ optical clocks is reported with a fractional frequency uncertainty of ±5.2 · 10−17. The record of such measurements over the last year sensitively tests for a temporal variation of α and constrains , consistent with zero.  相似文献

In this paper, we revisit the generalized Chaplygin gas (GCG) model as a unified dark matter and dark energy model. The energy density of GCG model is given as ρ GCG/ρ GCG0=[B s +(1−B s )a −3(1+α)]1/(1+α), where α and B s are two model parameters which will be constrained by type Ia supernova as standard candles, baryon acoustic oscillation as standard rulers and the seventh year full WMAP data points. In this paper, we will not separate GCG into dark matter and dark energy parts any more as adopted in the literature. By using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo method, we find the results a = 0.00126-0.00126- 0.00126+ 0.000970+ 0.00268\alpha=0.00126_{-0.00126- 0.00126}^{+ 0.000970+ 0.00268} and Bs = 0.775-0.0161- 0.0338+ 0.0161+ 0.0307B_{s}= 0.775_{-0.0161- 0.0338}^{+ 0.0161+ 0.0307}.  相似文献

A new solid substrate-room temperature phosphorescence (SS-RTP) method for the determination of trace manganese (II) has been established. It bases on the fact that fullerol (R) emits strong and stable room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) on filter paper substrate. H2O2 can oxidize R to cause the SS-RTP quenching. But manganese (II) can obstruct H2O2 to oxidize R, and enhance the RTP of R. α,α′-Bipyridine (Bipy) can sensitize the RTP. After adding Bipy, the ΔI p enhances 7 times than that without Bipy. Under the optimum conditions, the linear dynamic range of this method is 0.016–1.12 pg spot−1 with a detection limit (L.D.) of 4.6 fg spot−1 ( is the absolute mass of Mn2+), and the regression equation of working curve is ΔI p=25.20 + 63.55 (pg spot−1), n=6, r=0.9983. For 0.016 and 1.12 pg spot−1 Mn2+, RSDS are 4.3 and 4.8%, respectively (n=7). This method has been applied to the determination of trace manganese (II) in actual sample with high sensitivity and good selection. And the reaction mechanism of SS-RTP is discussed.  相似文献

The proton and neutron densities, root-mean-square (rms) radii of proton density and neutron density, and neutron skin thickness of 4–10He, 6–11Li, and 7–12Be isotopes are calculated using Skyrme-Hartree-Fock method with SLy4, SLy5, SLy6, and SLy7 force parameters. The evaluated results are compared with experimental data. Also, the results of halo nuclei (6,8He, 11Li, and 11Be) are compared with the results of other isotopes for selected nuclei having the same neutron configuration.  相似文献

Attempt to observe a 7H resonance produced in the reaction 2H(8He,3He)7H resulted only in setting a limit dσ/dΩ≤ 20 μb/sr for the reaction exit channel which could populate a resonance lying between 0 and 3 MeV above the 7H decay threshold. The quasi-free scattering of the α core bound in 6He was explored keeping in mind the possible study of the cluster structure of this halo nucleus. For the first time coincident particles emitted in the 4He(6He, 2α)nn reaction were detected in wide angular ranges giving a wide kinematical range of the measured angular and momentum distributions. The contribution of processes, competing with QFS in the α+ α+n+n output channel, was considerably suppressed by the selection of events with Eα1(2)-nn>10 MeV. A number of experimental distributions, relevant to the reaction mechanism and to the 6He structure, were compared with the results of MC simulations based on the PWIA formalism. The PWIA predictions showed consistency with the experimental data.  相似文献
