A Toeplitz operator TfT_\phi with symbol f\phi in L(\mathbbD)L^{\infty}({\mathbb{D}}) on the Bergman space A2(\mathbbD)A^{2}({\mathbb{D}}), where \mathbbD\mathbb{D} denotes the open unit disc, is radial if f(z) = f(|z|)\phi(z) = \phi(|z|) a.e. on \mathbbD\mathbb{D}. In this paper, we consider the numerical ranges of such operators. It is shown that all finite line segments, convex hulls of analytic images of \mathbbD\mathbb{D} and closed convex polygonal regions in the plane are the numerical ranges of radial Toeplitz operators. On the other hand, Toeplitz operators TfT_\phi with f\phi harmonic on \mathbbD\mathbb{D} and continuous on [`(\mathbbD)]{\overline{\mathbb{D}}} and radial Toeplitz operators are convexoid, but certain compact quasinilpotent Toeplitz operators are not.  相似文献

We consider the space A(\mathbbT)A(\mathbb{T}) of all continuous functions f on the circle \mathbbT\mathbb{T} such that the sequence of Fourier coefficients [^(f)] = { [^(f)]( k ), k ? \mathbbZ }\hat f = \left\{ {\hat f\left( k \right), k \in \mathbb{Z}} \right\} belongs to l 1(ℤ). The norm on A(\mathbbT)A(\mathbb{T}) is defined by || f ||A(\mathbbT) = || [^(f)] ||l1 (\mathbbZ)\left\| f \right\|_{A(\mathbb{T})} = \left\| {\hat f} \right\|_{l^1 (\mathbb{Z})}. According to the well-known Beurling-Helson theorem, if f:\mathbbT ? \mathbbT\phi :\mathbb{T} \to \mathbb{T} is a continuous mapping such that || einf ||A(\mathbbT) = O(1)\left\| {e^{in\phi } } \right\|_{A(\mathbb{T})} = O(1), n ∈ ℤ then φ is linear. It was conjectured by Kahane that the same conclusion about φ is true under the assumption that || einf ||A(\mathbbT) = o( log| n | )\left\| {e^{in\phi } } \right\|_{A(\mathbb{T})} = o\left( {\log \left| n \right|} \right). We show that if $\left\| {e^{in\phi } } \right\|_{A(\mathbb{T})} = o\left( {\left( {{{\log \log \left| n \right|} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\log \log \left| n \right|} {\log \log \log \left| n \right|}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\log \log \log \left| n \right|}}} \right)^{1/12} } \right)$\left\| {e^{in\phi } } \right\|_{A(\mathbb{T})} = o\left( {\left( {{{\log \log \left| n \right|} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\log \log \left| n \right|} {\log \log \log \left| n \right|}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\log \log \log \left| n \right|}}} \right)^{1/12} } \right), then φ is linear.  相似文献

Let ω,ω 0 be appropriate weight functions and q∈[1,∞]. We introduce the wave-front set, WFFLq(w)(f)\mathrm{WF}_{\mathcal{F}L^{q}_{(\omega)}}(f) of f ? Let ϕ be a function in the Wiener amalgam space W(L1)\emph{W}_{\infty}(L_1) with a non-vanishing property in a neighborhood of the origin for its Fourier transform [^(f)]\widehat{\phi}, t={tn}n ? \mathbb Z{\bf \tau}=\{\tau_n\}_{n\in {{\mathbb Z}}} be a sampling set on ℝ and VftV_\phi^{\bf \tau} be a closed subspace of L2(\mathbbR)L_2(\hbox{\ensuremath{\mathbb{R}}}) containing all linear combinations of τ-translates of ϕ. In this paper we prove that every function f ? Vftf\in V_\phi^{\bf \tau} is uniquely determined by and stably reconstructed from the sample set Lft(f)={ò\mathbbR f(t)[`(f(t-tn))] dt}n ? \mathbb ZL_\phi^{\bf \tau}(f)=\Big\{\int_{\hbox{\ensuremath{\mathbb{R}}}} f(t) \overline{\phi(t-\tau_n)} dt\Big\}_{n\in {{\mathbb Z}}}. As our reconstruction formula involves evaluating the inverse of an infinite matrix we consider a partial reconstruction formula suitable for numerical implementation. Under an additional assumption on the decay rate of ϕ we provide an estimate to the corresponding error.  相似文献

Let f be a cusp form of the Hecke space \frak M0(l,k,e){\frak M}_0(\lambda,k,\epsilon) and let L f be the normalized L-function associated to f. Recently it has been proved that L f belongs to an axiomatically defined class of functions [`(S)]\sharp\bar{\cal S}^\sharp . We prove that when λ ≤ 2, L f is always almost primitive, i.e., that if L f is written as product of functions in [`(S)]\sharp\bar{\cal S}^\sharp , then one factor, at least, has degree zeros and hence is a Dirichlet polynomial. Moreover, we prove that if l ? {?2,?3,2}\lambda\notin\{\sqrt{2},\sqrt{3},2\} then L f is also primitive, i.e., that if L f = F 1 F 2 then F 1 (or F 2) is constant; for l ? {?2,?3,2}\lambda\in\{\sqrt{2},\sqrt{3},2\} the factorization of non-primitive functions is studied and examples of non-primitive functions are given. At last, the subset of functions f for which L f belongs to the more familiar extended Selberg class S\sharp{\cal S}^\sharp is characterized and for these functions we obtain analogous conclusions about their (almost) primitivity in S\sharp{\cal S}^\sharp .  相似文献

We define a generalized Li coefficient for the L-functions attached to the Rankin–Selberg convolution of two cuspidal unitary automorphic representations π and π of GLm(\mathbbAF)GL_{m}(\mathbb{A}_{F}) and GLm(\mathbbAF)GL_{m^{\prime }}(\mathbb{A}_{F}) . Using the explicit formula, we obtain an arithmetic representation of the n th Li coefficient lp,p(n)\lambda _{\pi ,\pi ^{\prime }}(n) attached to L(s,pf×[(p)\tilde]f)L(s,\pi _{f}\times \widetilde{\pi}_{f}^{\prime }) . Then, we deduce a full asymptotic expansion of the archimedean contribution to lp,p(n)\lambda _{\pi ,\pi ^{\prime }}(n) and investigate the contribution of the finite (non-archimedean) term. Under the generalized Riemann hypothesis (GRH) on non-trivial zeros of L(s,pf×[(p)\tilde]f)L(s,\pi _{f}\times \widetilde{\pi}_{f}^{\prime }) , the nth Li coefficient lp,p(n)\lambda _{\pi ,\pi ^{\prime }}(n) is evaluated in a different way and it is shown that GRH implies the bound towards a generalized Ramanujan conjecture for the archimedean Langlands parameters μ π (v,j) of π. Namely, we prove that under GRH for L(s,pf×[(p)\tilde]f)L(s,\pi _{f}\times \widetilde{\pi}_{f}) one has |Remp(v,j)| £ \frac14|\mathop {\mathrm {Re}}\mu_{\pi}(v,j)|\leq \frac{1}{4} for all archimedean places v at which π is unramified and all j=1,…,m.  相似文献

Fourier series are considered on the one-dimensional torus for the space of periodic distributions that are the distributional derivative of a continuous function. This space of distributions is denoted Ac(\mathbbT){\mathcal{A}}_{c}(\mathbb{T}) and is a Banach space under the Alexiewicz norm, ||f||\mathbbT=sup|I| £ 2pI f|\|f\|_{\mathbb{T}}=\sup_{|I|\leq2\pi}|\int_{I} f|, the supremum being taken over intervals of length not exceeding 2π. It contains the periodic functions integrable in the sense of Lebesgue and Henstock–Kurzweil. Many of the properties of L 1 Fourier series continue to hold for this larger space, with the L 1 norm replaced by the Alexiewicz norm. The Riemann–Lebesgue lemma takes the form [^(f)](n)=o(n)\hat{f}(n)=o(n) as |n|→∞. The convolution is defined for f ? Ac(\mathbbT)f\in{\mathcal{A}}_{c}(\mathbb{T}) and g a periodic function of bounded variation. The convolution commutes with translations and is commutative and associative. There is the estimate ||f*g|| £ ||f||\mathbbT ||g||BV\|f\ast g\|_{\infty}\leq\|f\|_{\mathbb{T}} \|g\|_{\mathcal{BV}}. For g ? L1(\mathbbT)g\in L^{1}(\mathbb{T}), ||f*g||\mathbbT £ ||f||\mathbb T ||g||1\|f\ast g\|_{\mathbb{T}}\leq\|f\|_{\mathbb {T}} \|g\|_{1}. As well, [^(f*g)](n)=[^(f)](n) [^(g)](n)\widehat{f\ast g}(n)=\hat{f}(n) \hat{g}(n). There are versions of the Salem–Zygmund–Rudin–Cohen factorization theorem, Fejér’s lemma and the Parseval equality. The trigonometric polynomials are dense in Ac(\mathbbT){\mathcal{A}}_{c}(\mathbb{T}). The convolution of f with a sequence of summability kernels converges to f in the Alexiewicz norm. Let D n be the Dirichlet kernel and let f ? L1(\mathbbT)f\in L^{1}(\mathbb{T}). Then ||Dn*f-f||\mathbbT?0\|D_{n}\ast f-f\|_{\mathbb{T}}\to0 as n→∞. Fourier coefficients of functions of bounded variation are characterized. The Appendix contains a type of Fubini theorem.  相似文献

Let A, B be uniform algebras. Suppose that A 0, B 0 are subgroups of A −1, B −1 that contain exp A, exp B respectively. Let α be a non-zero complex number. Suppose that m, n are non-zero integers and d is the greatest common divisor of m and n. If T : A 0B 0 is a surjection with ||T(f)mT(g)n - a|| = ||fmgn - a||{\|T(f)^{m}T(g)^{n} - \alpha\|_{\infty} = \|f^{m}g^{n} - \alpha\|_{\infty}} for all f,g ? A0{f,g \in A_0}, then there exists a real-algebra isomorphism [(T)\tilde] : A ? B{\tilde{T} : A \rightarrow B} such that [(T)\tilde](f)d = (T(f)/T(1))d{\tilde{T}(f)^d = (T(f)/T(1))^d} for every f ? A0{f \in A_0}. This result leads to the following assertion: Suppose that S A , S B are subsets of A, B that contain A −1, B −1 respectively. If m, n > 0 and a surjection T : S A S B satisfies ||T(f)mT(g)n - a|| = ||fmgn - a||{\|T(f)^{m}T(g)^{n} - \alpha\|_{\infty} = \|f^{m}g^{n} - \alpha\|_{\infty}} for all f, g ? SA{f, g \in S_A}, then there exists a real-algebra isomorphism [(T)\tilde] : A ? B{\tilde{T} : A \rightarrow B} such that [(T)\tilde](f)d = (T(f)/T(1))d{\tilde{T}(f)^d = (T(f)/T(1))^d} for every f ? SA{f \in S_A}. Note that in these results and elsewhere in this paper we do not assume that T(exp A) = exp B.  相似文献

For a convex planar domain D \cal {D} , with smooth boundary of finite nonzero curvature, we consider the number of lattice points in the linearly dilated domain t D t \cal {D} . In particular the lattice point discrepancy PD(t) P_{\cal {D}}(t) (number of lattice points minus area), is investigated in mean-square over short intervals. We establish an asymptotic formula for¶¶ òT - LT + L(PD(t))2dt \int\limits_{T - \Lambda}^{T + \Lambda}(P_{\cal {D}}(t))^2\textrm{d}t ,¶¶ for any L = L(T) \Lambda = \Lambda(T) growing faster than logT.  相似文献

We study the spectrum σ(M) of the multipliers M which commute with the translations on weighted spaces ${L_{\omega}^{2}(\mathbb{R})}We study the spectrum σ(M) of the multipliers M which commute with the translations on weighted spaces Lw2(\mathbbR){L_{\omega}^{2}(\mathbb{R})} For operators M in the algebra generated by the convolutions with f ? Cc(\mathbb R){\phi \in {C_c(\mathbb {R})}} we show that [`(m(W))] = s(M){\overline{\mu(\Omega)} = \sigma(M)}, where the set Ω is determined by the spectrum of the shift S and μ is the symbol of M. For the general multipliers M we establish that [`(m(W))]{\overline{\mu(\Omega)}} is included in σ(M). A generalization of these results is given for the weighted spaces L2w(\mathbb Rk){L^2_{\omega}(\mathbb {R}^{k})} where the weight ω has a special form.  相似文献

Generalized absolute values as well as corresponding to them generalized polar decompositions of a bounded linear operator T of a Hilbert space H{\mathcal{H}} into a Hilbert space K{\mathcal{K}} are defined, motivated by the inequality |áTx, y?K|2 £ á|T|x, x?Há|T*|y, y?K{|\langle{Tx}, {y}\rangle}_{\mathcal{K}}|^2 \leq \langle|T|x, {x}\rangle_{\mathcal{H}}\langle{|T^{*}|y}, {y}\rangle_{\mathcal{K}} . It is shown that there is a natural bijection between generalized absolute values of T and of T* which sends |T| to |T*|. For a bounded nonnegative operator A on H{\mathcal{H}} and a bounded Borel function f: \mathbbR+ ? \mathbbR+{f: \mathbb{R}_+ \to \mathbb{R}_+} , equivalent conditions for A and f(|T|) to be generalized absolute values of T are established and corresponding to them generalized absolute values of T* are determined.  相似文献

We prove that sufficiently regular solutions to the wave equation ${\square_g\phi=0}We prove that sufficiently regular solutions to the wave equation \squaregf = 0{\square_g\phi=0} on the exterior of the Schwarzschild black hole obey the estimates |f| £ Cd v+-\frac32+d{|\phi|\leq C_\delta v_+^{-\frac{3}{2}+\delta}} and |?tf| £ Cd v+-2+d{|\partial_t\phi|\leq C_{\delta} v_+^{-2+\delta}} on a compact region of r, including inside the black hole region. This is proved with the help of a new vector field commutator that is analogous to the scaling vector field on Minkowski spacetime. This result improves the known decay rates in the region of finite r and along the event horizon.  相似文献

A question of Yves Meyer motivated the research concerning “time” subordinations of real functions. Denote by B1a{\mathcal {B}}_{1}^{\alpha} the metric space of functions with Lipschitz constant 1 defined on [0,1], equipped with the complete metric defined via the supremum norm. Given a function g ? B1ag\in {\mathcal {B}}_{1}^{\alpha} one obtains a time subordination of g simply by considering the composite function Z=gf, where f∈ℳ:={f:f(0)=0, f(1)=1 and f is a continuous nondecreasing function on [0,1]}. The metric space Ea=M×B1a\mathcal {E}^{\alpha}=\mathcal {M}\times {\mathcal {B}}_{1}^{\alpha} equipped with the product supremum metric is a complete metric space. In this paper for all α∈[0,1) multifractal properties of gf are investigated for a generic (typical) element (f,g)∈ℰ α . In particular we determine the generic H?lder singularity spectrum of gf.  相似文献

In this paper we study relations between the weighted energy class Ec\mathcal{E}_{\chi} introduced by S. Benelkourchi, V. Guedj and A. Consider j = f +[`(g)]\varphi = f + \overline {g}, where f and g are polynomials, and let TjT_{\varphi} be the Toeplitz operators with the symbol j\varphi. It is known that if TjT_{\varphi} is hyponormal then |f¢(z)|2 3 |g¢(z)|2|f'(z)|^{2} \geq |g'(z)|^{2} on the unit circle in the complex plane. In this paper, we show that it is also a necessary and sufficient condition under certain assumptions. Furthermore, we present some necessary conditions for the hyponormality of TjT_{\varphi} on the weighted Bergman space, which generalize the results of I. S. Hwang and J. Lee.  相似文献

Let u be a weak solution of the Navier–Stokes equations in an exterior domain ${\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^3}Let u be a weak solution of the Navier–Stokes equations in an exterior domain W ì \mathbbR3{\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^3} and a time interval [0, T[ , 0 < T ≤ ∞, with initial value u 0, external force f = div F, and satisfying the strong energy inequality. It is well known that global regularity for u is an unsolved problem unless we state additional conditions on the data u 0 and f or on the solution u itself such as Serrin’s condition || u ||Ls(0,T; Lq(W)) < ¥{\| u \|_{L^s(0,T; L^q(\Omega))} < \infty} with 2 < s < ¥, \frac2s + \frac3q = 1{2 < s < \infty, \frac{2}{s} + \frac{3}{q} =1}. In this paper, we generalize results on local in time regularity for bounded domains, see Farwig et al. If e.g. u fulfills Serrin’s condition in a left-side neighborhood of t or if the norm || u ||Ls(t-d,t; Lq(W)){\| u \|_{L^{s'}(t-\delta,t; L^q(\Omega))}} converges to 0 sufficiently fast as δ → 0 + , where ${\frac{2}{s'} + \frac{3}{q} > 1}${\frac{2}{s'} + \frac{3}{q} > 1}, then u is regular at t.
