In this paper, TiO2:Sm3+ (0.75 mol%) nanoparticles doped with different amounts of Br were prepared by an improved sol-gel method and were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), VG ESCALAB MKIIX-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS) and ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-vis DRS). Their photoluminescence (PL) properties were investigated at room temperature. The emissions of 4G5/2-6HJ (J=5/2, 7/2, 9/2) transitions of Sm3+ ions were observed under the excitation wavelength at 350 nm and the emission intensity depended strongly on the doping amount of Br. TiO2:Sm3+ (0.75 mol%) nanoparticles doped with 1 mol% of Br calcined at 700 °C exhibit highest intensity of luminescence, which is nearly three times than the undoped one. The mechanism of photoluminescence in the co-doped system was discussed.  相似文献

In this work, TiO2-SiO2-In2O3 composite thin films on glass substrates were prepared by the sol-gel dip coating process. X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to evaluate the structural and chemical properties of the films. UV-vis spectrophotometer was used to measure the transmittance spectra of thin films. The water contact angle (WCA) of thin films during UV/vis irradiation and storage in a dark place was measured by a contact angle analyzer. The results indicated that fabrication of composite film has a significant effect on transmittance and superhydrophilicity of TiO2 films.  相似文献

Previous studies suggest that granular interfaces induce a natural and persistent super-hydrophilicity in TiO2-SiO2 composite thin films deposited by sol-gel route. This effect enables to consider self-cleaning applications that do not require a permanent UV exposure, whereas such a permanent exposure is necessary for pure TiO2 films. In this study, TiO2-SiO2 composite thin films have been deposited from a TiO2 anatase crystalline suspension and different SiO2 polymeric sols. Wettability studies show that a suitable control of the TiO2-SiO2 mixed sol formulations noticeably enhances persistence of the natural super-hydrophilicity in composite films. It is shown that, beside granular interface effects, modifications in the composite film morphologies can noticeably influence wettability properties.  相似文献

The surface of anatase TiO2 nanoparticles was modified by xylene using soxhlet extractor. The photoluminescence (PL) of the modified nanoparticles was investigated. A stable and strong blue luminescence peak at 420 nm can be observed, and the intensity of the PL peak increases with the increase of the extraction time.  相似文献

Cobalt-doped TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by sol-gel method. The associated structural, optical, compositional and magnetic properties of the nanoparticles as a function of cobalt concentration have been systematically studied. The X-ray powder diffraction reveals that all samples have pure anatase phase tetragonal system and the lattice parameter analysis indicated that Co ions may substitute into the lattice of TiO2. The average particle size is 15 nm, when found through transmission electron microscope. Optical spectroscopy measurement showed that the bandgap value decreases upon increasing Co concentration. The magnetic measurements revealed that the enhanced room temperature ferromagnetism (RTFM) strongly depends on the doping content.  相似文献

Er 3+-doped TiO 2-SiO 2 powders are prepared by the sol-gel method,and they are characterized by high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM),X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectra,and Raman spectra of the samples.It is shown that the TiO 2 nanocrystals are surrounded by an SiO 2 glass matrix.The photoluminescence (PL) spectra are recorded at room temperature.A strong green luminescence and less intense red emission are observed in the samples when they are excited at 325 nm.The intensity of the emission,which is related to the defect states,is strongest at the annealing temperature of 800 C.The PL intensity of Er 3+ ions increases with increasing Ti/Si ratio due to energy transfer between nano-TiO 2 particles and Er 3+ ions.  相似文献

Porous TiO2 films were deposited on SiO2 pre-coated glass-slides by sol-gel method using octadecylamine (ODA) as template. The amount of ODA in the sol played an important role on the physicochemical properties and photocatalytic performance of the TiO2 films. The films prepared at different conditions were all composed of anatase titanium dioxide crystals, and TiO2 crystalline size got larger with increasing ODA amount. The maximum specific surface area of 41.5 m2/g was obtained for TiO2 powders prepared from titanium sol containing 2.0 g ODA. Methyl orange degradation rate was enhanced along with increasing ODA amount and reached the maximal value at 2.0 g addition of ODA. After 40 min of UV-light irradiation, methyl orange degradation rate reached 30.5% on the porous film, which was about 10% higher than that on the smooth film. Porous TiO2 film showed almost constant activity with slight decrease from 30.5% to 28.5% after 4 times of recycles.  相似文献

采用离子注入法制备了钴离子掺杂的金红石相TiO2样品;离子注入能量、注量分别为40 keV(1×1016cm-2),80 keV(5×1015,1×1016,5×1016,1×1017cm-2),120 keV(1×1016cm-2). 通过XRD,XPS和UV-Vis等手段对掺杂前后样品的结构和光学性能进行了表征,分析了掺杂元素在金红石TiO2中的存在形式. XRD测试表明随着注入能量的增加晶体的损伤程度增加. UV-Vis测试表明掺杂后所有样品在可见光区的吸收增强; 并且随着注量的增加,注量为5×1015cm-2到5×1016cm-2范围内注入样品的光学带隙逐渐变小. 关键词: 钴 二氧化钛 离子注入 掺杂  相似文献

本文采用微纳加工方法制备了负载高密度Ag-Cu纳米颗粒的N掺杂TiO2纳米棒阵列样品. 通过TiO2的N掺杂,可将其吸光范围调控至与Ag纳米颗粒的等离激元吸收频率相匹配的波段,从而实现复合材料中肖特基结与共振能量转移过程的协同作用. 与此同时,Cu纳米颗粒可以为CO2还原提供活性位点. 在全谱光照射下,复合样品光催化CO2还原的活性显著提高,CH4生成速率可达720 μmol·g-1·h-1.  相似文献

The diamond abrasive particles were coated with the TiO2/Al2O3 film by the sol-gel technique. Compared with the uncoated diamonds, the TiO2/Al2O3 film was excellent material for the protection of the diamonds. The results showed that the incipient oxidation temperature of the TiO2/Al2O3 film coated diamonds in air atmosphere was 775 °C, which was higher 175 °C than that of the uncoated diamonds. And the coated diamonds also had better the diamond's single particle compressive strength and the impact toughness than that of uncoated diamonds after sintering at 750 °C. For the vitrified bond grinding wheels, replacing the uncoated diamonds with the TiO2/Al2O3 film coated diamonds, the volume expansion of the grinding wheels decreased from 6.2% to 3.4%, the porosity decreased from 35.7% to 25.7%, the hardness increased from 61.2HRC to 66.5HRC and the grinding ratio of the vitrified bond grinding wheels to carbide alloy (YG8) increased from 11.5 to 19.1.  相似文献

将玻璃基底依次在低成本的SiO2溶胶和TiO2溶胶中浸渍后,在500 oC下煅烧制备了同时具备减反射与自清洁性能的SiO2/TiO2双层膜.该膜的光学性能与结构特征分别通过紫外-可见分光光度计和场发射扫描电镜进行了表征.同时,源于超亲水性和光催化作用的自清洁性能也凸显出来.实验结果表明制备SiO2/TiO2双层膜对光的透射率最高可达到95%,同时具备自清洁性能.  相似文献

The evolution of alumina coating layers on rutile TiO2 particle surfaces was investigated starting from aluminum sulfate by a chemical liquid deposition method. The morphology of the alumina coating layers was determined by transmission electron microscopy. The chemical structure and the evolution mechanism of the alumina coating layers on TiO2 surfaces were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and powder X-ray diffraction techniques. The dispersibility of the alumina-coated TiO2 powders was determined by dynamic laser scattering (DLS) mode. The alumina coating layers existed in boehmite phase, AlOOH, and anchored at the surfaces of TiO2 via Ti-O-Al bond. The formation of alumina coating layers on TiO2 surfaces depended on the pH value of the deposition solution and the alumina loading. After coated by alumina layer, the dispersibility, whiteness, brightness, and light scattering index of the resultant samples were promoted.  相似文献

The water contact angle (WCA) of nanocrystalline TiO2 films was adjusted by fluoroalkylsilane (FAS) modification and photocatalytic lithography. FAS modification made the surface hydrophobic with the WCA up to ∼156°, while ultraviolet (UV) irradiation changed surface to hydrophilic with the WCA down to ∼0°. Both the hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity were enhanced by surface roughness. The wettability can be tailored by varying the concentration of FAS solution and soaking time, as well as the UV light intensity and irradiation time. Additionally, with the help of photomasks, hydrophobic-hydrophilic micropatterns can be fabricated and manifested via area-selective deposition of polystyrene particles.  相似文献

We report on the formation of hexagonally ordered TiO2 nanocolumnar layers by electrochemical oxidation in a fluoride containing electrolyte, using self-organizing nanotube formation conditions at elevated potentials and low temperatures. The influence of the substrate temperature on the nanocolumn morphology and composition is investigated and characterized by FE-SEM and EDX. The origin of these nanocolumns can be attributed to a thickening of the inner tube wall of the double wall structure of self-organized TiO2 nanotubes. Furthermore, a transition from nanocolumnar to nanotubular structure can be established by changing the applied voltage or applying a post-immersion treatment.  相似文献

Indium tin oxide (ITO) and titanium dioxide (TiO2) single layer and double layer ITO/TiO2 films were prepared using reactive pulsed laser ablation deposition (RPLAD) with an ArF excimer laser for applications in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The films were deposited on SiO2 substrates either at room temperatures (RT) or heated to 200-400 °C. Under optimized conditions, transmission of ITO films in the visible (vis) range was above 89% for films produced at RT and 93% for the ones deposited at higher temperatures. Increasing the substrate temperature from RT to 400 °C enhances the transmission of TiO2 films in the vis-NIR from about 70% to 92%. High transmission (≈90%) was observed for the double layer ITO/TiO2 with a transmission cut-off above 900 nm. From the transmission data, the energies gaps (Eg), as well as the refractive indexes (n) for the films were estimated. n ≈ 2.03 and 2.04, respectively for ITO films and TiO2 film deposited at 400 °C in the visible region. Post-annealing of the TiO2 films for 3 h at 300 and 500 °C was performed to enhance n. The refractive index of the TiO2 films increases with the post-annealing temperature. The direct band gap is 3.6, 3.74 and 3.82 eV for ITO films deposited at RT, 200, and 400 °C, respectively. The TiO2 films present a direct band gap of 3.51 and 3.37 eV for as deposited TiO2 films and when annealed at 400 °C, respectively. There is a shift of about 0.1 eV between ITO and ITO/TiO2 films deposited at 200 °C. The shift decreases by half when the TiO2 film was deposited at 400 °C. Post-annealing was also performed on double layer ITO/TiO2.  相似文献

Nb-doped TiO2 (TNO) thin films were prepared by sol-gel dip-coating method with Nb content in a wide range of 0-20 at.%. The prepared films were preheated at 400 °C and then undertaken by two different post-annealing processes: (a) three times vacuum annealing and (b) multi-round annealing. The designed multi-round annealing was shown to be an effective way to improve the conductive properties of the films, compared to the traditional vacuum annealing process. The minimum resistivity reached approximately 0.5 Ω cm with Nb doping concentration around 12 at.%, and the carrier density increased with Nb-doping concentration until the critical point of 12 at.%, which might be the optimal doping content for our TNO films prepared by sol-gel method.  相似文献

Anatase TiO2 nanowires with a diameter of 5-10 nm and length of 500 nm to 2 μm have been successfully synthesized by modifying TiO2 nanoparticles (P25) using the microwave heating method. The microwave power, reaction pressure, and reaction time for the synthesis of TiO2 nanowires were 500 W, 0.5-3.0 MPa (corresponding to a temperature range of 175-260), and 40-70 min, respectively. X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), and the BET techniques were used to investigate the phase structures, morphologies, and specific surface areas of the TiO2 nanowires. The effects of reaction time, pressure, and different post-treatment processes on the microstructures of TiO2 nanowires were discussed. It has been shown that the microwave heating method is efficient in transforming TiO2 nanoparticles to anatase TiO2 nanowires.  相似文献
