为了给回旋行波放大器中螺旋管的设计提供一种简单易行的计算和优化方法,构建了特定的螺旋型回旋管模型,并用色散特性方程和MAFIA软件计算了其色散特性。采用MAFIA软件计算时,由于周期条件,相移从-180°到180°,每30°计算一次,对应的传递常数从-0.837 8 cm -1 变化到0.837 8 cm -1 。由于在准周期条件中相应的相移对应相应的传递常数,求解出对应的基模频率,通过模式识别,得出耦合以后的模式频率,即可以得出色散曲线。结果表明:在8.3~10.6 GHz的工作频率范围内,两者的计算结果吻合较好,相对偏差小于0.5%。色散曲线趋于斜率为正的直线,该特性说明了螺旋型回旋行波管具有较高的工作效率和较宽的带宽。 相似文献

回旋行波管是下一代高分辨率成像雷达、高速率远程通信等电子系统首选的高功率电磁波辐射源,在国防安全方面具有重要的战略意义,研究发现,螺旋波纹波导回旋行波管具有较大的带宽,较高的电子效率及稳定性,本文从有源麦克斯韦方程组出发,系统地推导了螺旋波纹波导的色散方程及非线性注波互作用理论,数值计算结果与已有的实验报道基本相符,在此基础上,设计了W波段螺旋波纹回旋行波管,工作电压为80kV,工作电流为5A,中心频率为95GHz,3dB带宽约4.5%,饱和增益为52dB,最大输出功率为142kW,电子效率达20%—35%.最后,本文计算了电流、电压及输入功率的改变对W波段螺旋波纹波导回旋行波管输出性能的影响。 相似文献

In this present communication, we introduce a new type of annular optical waveguide whose outer cladding is made of sheath helix. The sheath helix is made up of the dielectric material of lower refractive index than the core materials. Using vector approach, the general characteristic equation for the proposed waveguide has been derived. The modal dispersion characteristics for the lowest-order modes for different pitch angles are determined and analyzed. We observe that there is no effect of pitch angles on dispersion curve nearly up to 89° but drastic change is observed at 90° and above pitch angle. On comparison of helically inner cladded annular circular waveguide, we have found that there is not the existence of the negative dispersion curve and photonic band gap in the helically outer cladded annular circular waveguide. It means only the inner cladding is responsible for the negative dispersion as well as photonic band gap. There is no effect of the outer cladding. 相似文献

The relationship curves between guide wavelength, phase constant and guide dimensions, frequency are obtained. A new type of partial-dielectric-loaded helical groove slow-wave structure (SWS) for millimetre wave travelling wave tube (TWT) is presented in this paper.The radio-frequency characteristics including the dispersion properties,the longitudinal electric field distribution and the beam-wave coupling impedance of this structure are analysed.The results show that the dispersion of the helical groove circuit is weakened,the phase velocity is reduced and the position of the maximum Ez is moved from the mouth to the inside of the groove after partially filling the dielectric materials in the helical groove SWS.Therefore,the dielectric-loaded helical groove SWS is suitable for a multi-beam TWT with broad band and high gain. 相似文献

This paper presents a theory on accurately analysing the dispersion relation and the
interaction impedance of electromagnetic waves propagating through a helical groove
waveguide with arbitrary groove shape, in which the complex groove profile is
synthesized by a series of rectangular steps. By introducing the influence of
high-order evanescent modes on the connection of any two neighbouring steps by an
equivalent susceptance under a modified admittance matching condition, the
assumption of the neglecting discontinuity capacitance in previously published
analysis is avoided, and the accurate dispersion equation is obtained by means of a
combination of field-matching method and admittance-matching technique. The validity
of this theory is proved by comparison between the measurements and the numerical
calculations for two kinds of helical groove waveguides with different groove

In this paper, surface effects on the dispersion characteristics of elastic waves propagating in an infinite piezoelectric nanoplate are investigated by using the surface piezoelectricity model. Based on the surface piezoelectric constitutive theory, the presence of surface stresses and surface electric displacements exerting on the boundary conditions of the piezoelectric nanoplate is taken into account in the modified mechanical and electric equilibrium relations. The partial wave technique is employed to obtain the general solutions of governing equations, and the dispersion relations with surface effects are expressed in an explicit closed form. The impacts of surface piezoelectricity, residual surface stress and plate thickness on the propagation properties of elastic waves are analyzed in detail. Numerical results show that the dispersion behaviors in piezoelectric nanoplates are size-dependent, and there exists a critical plate thickness above which the surface effects may vanish. 相似文献

Circular groove guide is a kind of waveguide for millimeter waves with low loss, large dimensions, and low dispersion. In this paper, the dominant mode characteristics of it is analysed. The technique that mode macthing method combines with point matching method is used to derive the Nth-order characteristic equation of the guide. The 1st order, 2nd order and 3rd order approximate curves that the normalized cutoff wavelength of circular groove guide varies with c/a are given. The attenuation curves are given at 1mm, 1.5mm and 3mm wavelength. The numerical results are in well agreement with the experimental results published.Supported by National Science Foundation of P.
