The stepwise coordination of meso-4'-pyridyl/phenyl porphyrins (4'-PyPs) to different metal centers proved to be an efficient synthetic approach leading to unsymmetrical arrays containing porphyrins and coordination compounds. The first step of this process, treatment of 4'-PyPs with a less than stoichiometric amount of cis,fac-RuCl2(Me2-SO)3(CO) (1), leads to the selective coordination of [cis,cis,cis-RuCl2(Me2SO)2(CO)] fragments ([Ru]) to some of the peripheral 4'-N sites of the 4'-PyPs. Column separation afforded four partially ruthenated 4'-PyPs in pure form: 4'-cis-DPyP[Ru] (2), 4'-trans-DPyP[Ru] (3), (4'-TPyP)[Ru] (4), and (4'-TPyP)[Ru]3 (5). These compounds, which have residual unbound peripheral 4'-N(py) sites (either one or three), were allowed to react with other metal centers that may belong either to a metalloporphyrin or to a coordination compound. When building blocks 2-5 were treated with [Ru(TPP)(CO)(EtOH)] (TPP = meso-tetraphenylporphyrin) in chloroform at room temperature, axial coordination of Ru(TPP)(CO) units ((Ru)) to the available 4'-N(py) sites readily occurred, generating the following arrays containing both perpendicular porphyrins and coordination compounds: (Ru)-(mu-4'-cis-DPyP)[Ru], (Ru)(mu-4'-trans-DPyP)[Ru], (Ru)3(mu-4'-TPyP)[Ru], and (Ru)(mu-4'-TPyP)[Ru]3. Furthermore, building blocks 2, 3, and 5 were treated with a series of coordination compounds capable of binding two pyridylporphyrins either cis to each other (trans-RuCl2(Me2SO)4 and trans,cis,cis-RuCl2(Me2SO)2(CO)2) or trans to each other (trans-PdCl2(C6H5CN)2). Homo- (Ru) and heterobimetallic (Ru-Pd) arrays with as many as seven metal atoms (six Ru and one Pd) and two 4'-PyPs were obtained as follows: trans,cis,cis-RuCl2(Me2SO)2(4'-cis-DPyP[Ru])2, trans,cis,cis-RuCl2(Me2SO)2(4'-trans-DPyP[Ru])2, trans,cis,cis-RuCl2(CO)2(4'-cis-DPyP[Ru])2, and trans-PdCl2(4'-TPyP[Ru]3)2. All the products were thoroughly characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy. Since the [Ru] fragment is chiral, diastereomers are formed when two or more [Ru] units are bound to a porphyrin. We found that when two 4'-cis-DPyP[Ru] (2) units are coordinated cis to each other on the same metal center, the mutual anisotropic effect of the cis porphyrins differentiates the sulfoxide methyl resonances for the two forms. These and other results indicate that the pyridyl units react independently of the presence or absence of a substituent on the other py rings. Thus, the synthetic strategy should be a general method for linking diverse metal centers through pyridylporphyrins.  相似文献

The reactivity of ruthenium(II)- and ruthenium(III)-chloride-dimethyl sulfoxide precursors and of the antimetastatic drug [ImH][trans-RuCl(4)(dmso-S)(Im)] (NAMI-A, Im = imidazole, dmso = dimethyl sulfoxide) toward NO was investigated. Treatment of [(dmso)(2)H][trans-RuCl(4)(dmso-S)(2)] and mer-RuCl(3)(dmso)(3) with gaseous NO yielded [(dmso)(2)H][trans-RuCl(4)(dmso-O)(NO)] (1) and mer,cis-RuCl(3)(dmso-O)(2)(NO) (2), respectively. Thus, coordination of the strong pi-acceptor NO induces a S to O linkage isomerization of the dmso trans to it to avoid competition for pi-electrons. In light-protected nitromethane solutions, complex 2 equilibrates slowly with the two isomers mer-RuCl(3)(dmso-S)(dmso-O)(NO) (3), with NO trans to Cl, and mer-RuCl(3)(dmso-S)(dmso-O)(NO) (4), with NO trans to dmso-O; the equilibrium mixture consists of ca. 64% 2, 3% 3, and 33% 4. Treatment of the Ru(II) precursor trans-RuCl(2)(dmso-S)(4) with gaseous NO in CH(2)Cl(2) solution yielded the nitrosyl-nitro derivative trans,cis,cis-RuCl(2)(dmso-O)(2)(NO)(NO(2)) (5). Finally, [(Im)(2)H][trans-RuCl(4)(Im)(NO)] (6) was prepared by treatment of [ImH][trans-RuCl(4)(dmso-O)(NO)] (1Im) with an excess of imidazole in refluxing acetone. The spectroscopic features are consistent with the [Ru(NO)](6) formulation for all complexes, that is, a diamagnetic Ru(II) nucleus bound to NO(+). Compounds 1, 2, 5, and 6 were characterized also by X-ray crystallography; they all show a linear nitrosyl group, with short Ru-NO bond distances consistent with a strong d(pi) --> pi NO back-bonding. An unusual inertness of O-bonded dmso was observed in compound 1. Complexes 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 are all redox active in DMF solutions showing irreversible reductions whose peak potentials depend on the other ligands attached to the Ru metal center. The site of reduction is the NO(+) moiety. The reduced complexes are not stable and release a Cl(-) or NO(2)(-) ligand followed by the NO(*) radical. The chemical reactions following electron transfer are all fast (rate constant >100 s(-1) at 293 K). The Ru product species are not redox active within the DMF window.  相似文献

Different coordination polymers were obtained by the reaction of (benzoic acid) chromium tricarbonyl with zinc acetate in the presence of various organic dipyridyl linkers. Depending on the nature of the linker either monomeric or polymeric compounds were obtained. Reactions of (benzoic acid) chromium tricarbonyl with zinc acetate and bidentate pyridine based ligands 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bipy), 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane (bpe), 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane (tmdp), and 2,2'dipyridylamine (DPA) afforded the novel coordination polymers [Zn[{η(6)-C(6)H(5)COO}Cr(CO)(3)](2)(4,4'-bipy)](n), [Zn[{η(6)-C(6)H(5)COO}Cr(CO)(3)](2)(bpe)](n), [Zn[{η(6)-C(6)H(5)COO}Cr(CO)(3)](2)(tmdp)}](n), and the monomeric complex [Zn[{η(6)-C(6)H(5)COO}Cr(CO)(3)](2)(DPA)]. The solid state structures of all compounds were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. By using 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane as a linker a chiral infinite helical structure was formed in the solid state. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) studies showed that upon heating the carbonyl groups of the {η(6)-C(6)H(5)COO}Cr(CO)(3) anion were lost before the organic ligand sphere was thermally decomposed.  相似文献

Treatment of the octahedral Ru(II) complex [trans,cis,cis-RuCl(2)(DMSO-O)(2)(CO)(2)] with an equimolar amount of 5,10-bis(3'-pyridyl)-15,20-diphenylporphyrin (3'-cis-DPyP) yielded, upon selective replacement of the DMSO ligands, the neutral 2 + 2 metallacycle 2. NMR spectroscopy provided unambiguous evidence that only one highly symmetrical species, in which the two chromophores are held in a slipped cofacial arrangement by the external Ru(II) metal fragments, exists in solution. The unprecedented geometry of 2, and of the fully zincated analogue 2a, were confirmed in the solid state by X-ray structural investigations. The spatial arrangement of the two parallel chromophores in 2, with an interplanar distance of 4.18 A and a lateral offset (center-to-center distance) of 9.82 A, is reminiscent of those of the special pair of bacteriophylls in the reaction centers and of adjacent B850 units in the LH2 light-harvesting antenna systems of photosynthetic bacteria. For comparison, the X-ray structure of the corresponding metallacycle with 4'-cis-DPyP, 1a, is also reported. In 1a, the two porphyrins have an almost perfect coplanar arrangement. The semi-zincated metallacycles 1b and 2b, in which only one of the two chromophores bears an inner zinc atom, were prepared from 1 and 2, respectively, and isolated in pure form. Detailed photophysical investigations of the above porphyrin assemblies were performed. In particular, very fast photoinduced intercomponent energy transfer processes from the zinc porphyrin to the free-base unit were detected in the semi-metalated derivatives 1b and 2b (time constants: 14 and 12 ps, respectively).  相似文献

Three new nanoscopic trigonal prisms, [(tmen)(6) Pd(6) (H(2)L)(3)](NO(3))(12) (1), [(Meen)(6) Pd(6)(H(2) L)(3)](NO(3))(12) (2), and [(2,2'-bipy)(6)Pd(6) (H(2)L)(3)](NO(3))(12) (3), have been synthesized in excellent yields through single-step metal-ligand-coordination-driven self-assembly using 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3-pyridyl)porphyrin (H(2)L) as a donor and cis-blocked Pd(II) 90° acceptors. These complexes were fully characterized by spectroscopic studies and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. All of these barrels quantitatively bind Zn(II) ions in the N(4) pockets of the porphyrin walls at room temperature. Their corresponding zinc-embedded complexes, [(tmen)(6)Pd(6)(ZnL)(3)](NO(3))(12) (1?a), [(Meen)(6) Pd(6)(ZnL)(3)](NO(3))(12) (2?a), and [(2,2'-bipy)(6)Pd(6)(ZnL)(3)](NO(3))(12) (3?a), were synthesized under ambient conditions by the post-synthetic binding of Zn(II) ions into the H(2)N(4) pockets of the porphyrin walls of these complexes. These zinc-embedded complexes were characterized by electronic absorption, fluorescence emission, (1)H?NMR spectroscopy, as well as elemental analysis. Complexes 1-3 exhibited considerable microporosity in their solid state. Complex 1 was an efficient adsorbent for nitrogen gas and EtOH, MeOH, and water vapors.  相似文献

The dicyanodicarbonyliron(II) thiolate complexes trans,cis-[(CN)(2)(CO)(2)Fe(S,S-C-R)](-) (R = OEt (2), N(Et)(2) (3)) were prepared by the reaction of [Na][S-C(S)-R] and [Fe(CN)(2)(CO)(3)(Br)](-) (1). Complex 1 was obtained from oxidative addition of cyanogen bromide to [Fe(CN)(CO)(4)](-). In a similar fashion, reaction of complex 1 with [Na][S,O-C(5)H(4)N], and [Na][S,N-C(5)H(4)] produced the six-coordinate trans,cis-[(CN)(2)(CO)(2)Fe(S,O-C(5)H(4)N)](-) (6) and trans,cis-[(CN)(2)(CO)(2)Fe(S,N-C(5)H(4))](-) (7) individually. Photolysis of tetrahydrofuran (THF) solution of complexes 2, 3, and 7 under CO led to formation of the coordinatively unsaturated iron(II) dicyanocarbonyl thiolate compounds [(CN)(2)(CO)Fe(S,S-C-R)](-) (R = OEt (4), N(Et)(2) (5)) and [(CN)(2)(CO)Fe(S,N-C(5)H(4))](-) (8), respectively. The IR v(CN) stretching frequencies and patterns of complexes 4, 5, and 8 have unambiguously identified two CN(-) ligands occupying cis positions. In addition, density functional theory calculations suggest that the architecture of five-coordinate complexes 4, 5, and 8 with a vacant site trans to the CO ligand and two CN(-) ligands occupying cis positions serves as a conformational preference. Complexes 2, 3, and 7 were reobtained when the THF solution of complexes 4, 5, and 8 were exposed to CO atmosphere at 25 degrees C individually. Obviously, CO ligand can be reversibly bound to the Fe(II) site in these model compounds. Isotopic shift experiments demonstrated the lability of carbonyl ligands of complexes 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8. Complexes [(CN)(2)(CO)Fe(S,S-C-R)](-) and NiA/NiC states [NiFe] hydrogenases from D. gigas exhibit a similar one-band pattern in the v(CO) region and two-band pattern in the v(CN) region individually, but in different positions, which may be accounted for by the distinct electronic effects between [S,S-C-R](-) and cysteine ligands. Also, the facile formations of five-coordinate complexes 4, 5, and 8 imply that the strong sigma-donor, weak pi-acceptor CN(-) ligands play a key role in creating/stabilizing five-coordinate iron(II) [(CN)(2)(CO)Fe(S,S-C-R)](-) complexes with a vacant coordination site trans to the CO ligand.  相似文献

Along with our recent investigation on the flexible ligand of H(2)ADA (1,3-adamantanediacetic acid), a series of Zn(II) and Cd(II) metal-organic frameworks, namely, [Zn(3)(ADA)(3)(H(2)O)(2)](n)·5nH(2)O (1), [Zn(ADA)(4,4'-bipy)(0.5)](n) (2), [Zn(2)(ADA)(2)(bpa)](n) (3), [Zn(2)(ADA)(2)(bpa)](n) (4), [Zn(2)(ADA)(2)(bpp)](n) (5), [Cd(HADA)(2)((4,4'-bipy)](n) (6), [Cd(3)(ADA)(3)(bpa)(2)(CH(3)OH)(H(2)O)](n) (7), and [Cd(2)(ADA)(2)(bpp)(2)](n)·7nH(2)O (8) have been synthesized and structurally characterized (where 4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-dipyridine, bpa = 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane and bpp = 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane). Due to various coordination modes and conformations of the flexible dicarboxylate ligand and the different pyridyl-containing coligands, these complexes exhibit structural and dimensional diversity. Complex 1 exhibits a three-dimensional (3D) framework containing one-dimensional (1D) Zn(II)-O-C-O-Zn(II) clusters. Complex 2 exhibits a 2D structure constructed by 1D double chains based on [Zn(2)ADA(2)] units and a 4,4'-bipy pillar. Complexes 3 and 4 possess isomorphic 2D layer structures, resulting from the different coordination modes of carboxylate group of ADA ligands. Complex 5 features a 2D 4(4) layer in which ADA ligands and Zn(II) atoms construct a 1D looped chain and the chains are further connected by bpp ligands. Complex 6 is composed of 1D zig-zag chains that are entangled through hydrogen-bonding interactions to generate a 2D network. Complex 7 is a rare (3,5)-connected network. Complex 8 possesses a 3D microporous framework with lots of water molecules encapsulated in the channels. The structural diversity of the complexes perhaps mainly results from using diverse secondary ligands and different metal centre ions, and means the assistant ligand and metal centre play important roles in the design and synthesis of target metal-organic frameworks. This finding revealed that ADA could be used as an effective bridging ligand to construct MOFs and change coordination modes and conformational geometries in these complexes. The thermogravimetric analyses, X-ray powder diffraction and solid-state luminescent properties of the complexes have also been investigated.  相似文献

The synthesis and the characterization of new dinuclear copper(II) compounds of general formula [(L(a-d))(2)Cu(2)(μ-N-N)](ClO(4))(2) (1-6) with either neutral aliphatic diamine (N-N = piperazine, pip) or aromatic diimine (N-N = 4,4'-bipyridine, 4,4'-bipy) linker are reported. The copper ligands L(-) (L(a-) = (E)-2-((2-aminoethylimino)methyl)phenolate, L(b-) = (E)-2-((2-aminopropylimino)methyl)-phenolate, L(c-) = (E)-2-((2-aminoethylimino)methyl)4-nitrophenolate, L(d-) = (E)-2-((2-aminoethylimino)methyl)4-methoxyphenolate) are NNO tridentate Schiff bases derived from the monocondensation of a substituted salicylaldehyde 5-G-salH (G = NO(2), H, OMe) with ethylenediamine, en, or 1,3-propylenediamine, tn. The crystal structures of compounds [(L(a))(2)Cu(2)(MeOH)(2)(μ-4,4'-bipy)](ClO(4))(2) (1·2MeOH), [(L(b))(2)Cu(2)(MeOH)(2)(μ-4,4'-bipy)](ClO(4))(2) (2·2MeOH), [(L(d))(2)Cu(2)(μ-4,4'-bipy)](ClO(4))(2) (4), [(L(a))(2)Cu(2)(μ-pip)](ClO(4))(2) (5) and [(L(b))(2)Cu(2)(μ-pip)](ClO(4))(2) (6) have been determined, revealing the preferred (e-e)-chair conformation of the bridging piperazine in compounds 5 and 6. The presence of hydrogen-bond-mediated intermolecular interactions, that involve the methanol molecules, yields dimers of dinuclear units for 1·2MeOH, and infinite zig-zag chains for 2·2MeOH. The temperature dependences of the magnetic susceptibilities χ(M)(T) for all compounds were measured, indicating the presence of antiferromagnetic Cu-Cu exchange. For the compounds 2-4 with 4,4'-bipy, the coupling constants J are around -1 cm(-1), while in compound 1 no interaction could be detected. The compounds 5 and 6 with piperazine display higher Cu-Cu magnetic interactions through the σ-bonding backbone of the bridging molecule, with J around -8 cm(-1), and the coupling is favoured by the (e-e)-chair conformation of the diamine ring. The non-aromatic, but shorter, linker piperazine gives rise to stronger Cu-Cu antiferromagnetic couplings than the aromatic, but longer, 4,4'-bipyridine. In the latter case, the rotation along the C-C bond between the two pyridyl rings and the consequent non co-planarity of the two copper coordination planes play an important role in determining the magnetic communication. EPR studies reveal that the dinuclear species are not stable in solution, yielding the solvated [(L)Cu(MeOH)](+) and the mononuclear [(L)Cu(N-N)](+) species; it appears that the limited solubility of the dinuclear compounds is responsible for their isolation in the solid state.  相似文献

By synthesizing the novel molybdenum arsenate complexes, we have obtained eight new structures, namely, (4,4'-bipy)[Zn(4,4'-bipy)2(H2O)2]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].7H2O, 1, [Zn(phen)2(H2O)]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].4H2O, 2, [Zn(2,2'-bipy)2(H2O)]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].4H2O, 3, [Zn(H4,4'-bipy)2(H2O)4][(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].8H2O, 4, (H24,4'-bipy)[CuI(4,4'-bipy)]2[H2AsV2Mo6O26].H2O, 5, (H24,4'-bipy)3[AsV2Mo6O26].4H2O, 6, (H24,4'-bipy)3[AsV2Mo6O26(H2O)].4H2O, 7, and (H24,4'-bipy)2.5(H3O)[AsV2Mo6O26(H2O)].1.25H2O, 8 (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine, 2,2'-bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). These structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and were further characterized by elemental analysis, IR, XPS spectroscopy, and TG analysis. The structure of 1 is constructed from two-dimensional square gridlike sheets linked by the polyanions [(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18]4- via hydrogen-bonding interactions to form a three-dimensional supramolecular framework with two types of channels. Compounds 2 and 3 display similar bisupported structures. Compound 4 features a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture. Compound 5 possesses a 1D infinite ladderlike ribbon. Compounds 6-8 are discrete structures exhibiting three isomeric forms of [HxAs2Mo6O26](6-x)-. Furthermore, compound 8 represents a new isomer B'-[As2Mo6O26(H2O)]6-. In addition, the fluorescent properties of compounds 1-3 are reported.  相似文献

The reaction of AlMe(3) and [((t)Bu)(2)Al(micro-OPh)](2) with pyrazine (pyz), 4,4'-bipyridine (4-4'-bipy), 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane (bpetha) and 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpethe) yields (Me(3)Al)(2)(micro-pyz)(1), (Me(3)Al)(2)(micro-4,4'-bipy)(2), (Me(3)Al)(2)(micro-bpetha)(3), (Me(3)Al)(2)(micro-bipethe)(4), Al((t)Bu)(2)(OPh)(pyz)(5), [((t)Bu)(2)Al(OPh)](2)(micro-4,4-bipy)(6a), [((t)Bu)(2)Al(OPh)](2)(micro-bpetha)(7a), [((t)Bu)(2)Al(OPh)](2)(micro-bipethe)(8a). Compounds 1-4, 6a and 7a have been confirmed by X-ray crystallography. In solution compounds 1-4 undergo a rapid ligand-dissociation equilibrium resulting in a time-average spectrum in the (1)H NMR. In contrast, the solution equilibria for compounds 5-8a are sufficiently slow such that the mono-aluminium compounds may be observed by (1)H NMR spectroscopy: Al((t)Bu)(2)(OPh)(4,4-bipy)(6b), Al((t)Bu)(2)(OPh)(bpetha)(7b) and Al((t)Bu)(2)(OPh)(bpethe)(8b). The inability to isolate [((t)Bu)(2)Al(OPh)](2)(micro-pyz) and the relative stability of each complex is discussed with respect to the steric interactions across the bridging ligand (L) and the electronic effect on one Lewis acid-base interaction by the second Lewis acid-base interaction on the same ligand.  相似文献

The combination of cis-protected metal fragments with linear linkers is expected to yield molecular squares. We found instead that treatment of the 90 degrees angular precursor trans-[RuCl2(dmso-S)4] (1) with an equivalent amount of the linear and rigid pyrazine (pyz) linker unexpectedly yields, in a number of different experimental conditions, the molecular triangle [{trans,cis-RuCl2(dmso-S)2(mu-pyz)}3] (3), together with polymeric material. Very similar results were also obtained from the reaction between 1 and the preformed corner fragment trans,cis,cis-[RuCl2(dmso-S)2(pyz)2] (6). In both cases, the expected molecular square [{trans,cis-RuCl2(dmso-S)2(mu-pyz)}4] (4) was observed only as a transient species. These results suggest that 3, which is the first example of a neutral molecular triangle with octahedral metal corners and pyrazine edges, is both the thermodynamic and the kinetic product of the reactions described above. The X-ray structure of 3 shows that the main distortions from ideal coordination geometry concern the N-Ru-N angles, which are narrower than 90 degrees , and the coordination bonds of pyz. The pyrazine molecules, which are basically planar, are significantly tilted from linearity. Calculations performed on 6 indicated that the N-Ru-N angle is ca. six times more rigid than the tilt angle of pyrazine. The structural and theoretical findings on 3 and 6, together with the previous examples of molecular triangles and squares with cis-protected metal corners and linear pyz edges, suggest that the entropically favored molecular triangles might be preferred over the expected molecular squares with metal corner fragments that spontaneously favor Npyz-M-Npyz angles narrower than 90 degrees because of the presence of ancillary ligands with significant steric demand on the coordination plane. The rather-flexible coordination geometry of pyrazine can accommodate the moderate distortions from linearity required to close the small metallacycle with modest additional strain.  相似文献

Two inorganic-organic hybrid compounds with the formula M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)V(2)Se(2)O(10) (M = Co, Ni) were hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compounds Co(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)V(2)Se(2)O(10) (1) and Ni(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)V(2)Se(2)O(10) (2), which are structural analogues, crystallize in the triclinic space group Ponemacr; with crystal data a = 7.9665(3) A, b = 8.1974(3) A, c = 13.8096(4) A, alpha = 85.704(2) degrees, beta = 73.5180(10) degrees, gamma = 75.645(2) degrees, V = 837.76(5) A(3), and Z = 2 and a = 7.9489(19) A, b = 8.128(2) A, c = 13.709 A, alpha = 85.838(6) degrees, beta = 73.736(8) degrees, gamma = 75.594(9) degrees, V = 823.5(4) A(3), and Z = 2, respectively. [M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)V(2)Se(2)O(10)] (M = Co, Ni) have a three-dimensional structure and consist of two subunits, [(VO(2))(SeO(3))](-) infinite chains and [M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)](2+) fragments. The [(VO(2))(SeO(3))](-) chains are composed of [V(2)Se(4)O(14)](4)(-) clusters linked by VO(4)N triangular bipyramids. The 4,4'-bipy molecule as a bifunctional organic ligand is directly linked to Co or Ni and V atoms, affording the three-dimensionality. The compounds were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and differential thermal and thermogravimetric analyses.  相似文献

The half-sandwich complexes [(eta5-C5H5)RuCl(DPEphos)] (1) and [{(eta6-p-cymene)RuCl2}2(mu-DPEphos)] (2) were synthesized by the reaction of bis(2-(diphenylphosphino)phenyl) ether (DPEphos) with a mixture of ruthenium trichloride trihydrate and cyclopentadiene and with [(eta6-p-cymene)RuCl2]2, respectively. Treatment of DPEphos with cis-[RuCl2(dmso)4] afforded fac-[RuCl2(kappa3-P,O,P-DPEphos)(dmso)] (3). The dmso ligand in 3 can be substituted by pyridine, 2,2'-bipyridine, 4,4'-bipyridine, and PPh3 to yield trans,cis-[RuCl2(DPEphos)(C5H5N)2] (4), cis,cis-[RuCl2(DPEphos)(2,2'-bipyridine)] (5), trans,cis-[RuCl2(DPEphos)(mu-4,4'-bipyridine)]n (6), and mer,trans-[RuCl2(kappa3-P,P,O-DPEphos)(PPh3)] (7), respectively. Refluxing [(eta6-p-cymene)RuCl2]2 with DPEphos in moist acetonitrile leads to the elimination of the p-cymene group and the formation of the octahedral complex cis,cis-[RuCl2(DPEphos)(H2O)(CH3CN)] (8). The structures of the complexes 1-5, 7, and 8 are confirmed by X-ray crystallography. The catalytic activity of these complexes for the hydrogenation of styrene is studied.  相似文献

The P,N,P-tridentate ligand 2,6-bis(diphenylphosphino)pyridine, L, was employed to generate a twelve-membered metallomacrocyclic host species cis-Pt(2)Me(4)(mu-L)(2) that encapsulates Tl(I) and Cu(I) guest ions. The ligand was also used to synthesize another two linear heterotrinuclear complexes, [Me(2)Pt(mu-L)(2)Ag(2)(MeCN)(2)](BF(4))(2).MeCN and [(CO)(3)Fe(mu-L)(2)Ag(2)(Et(2)O)](ClO(4))(2), both containing a metal-metal dative bond (Pt-->Ag and Fe-->Ag, respectively) and stabilized by the d(10)-d(10) argentophilic interaction.  相似文献

The hydrophilic, long-chain diamine PEGda (O,O'-bis(2-aminoethyl)octadeca(ethylene glycol)), when complexed with cis-protected Pt(II) ions afforded water-soluble complexes of the type [Pt(N,N)(PEGda)](NO(3))(2) (N,N = N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-1,2-diaminoethane (tmeda), 1,2-diaminoethane (en), and 2,2'-bipyridine (2,2'-bipy)) featuring unusual 62-membered chelate rings. Equimolar mixtures containing either the 16-mer duplex DNA D2 or the single-stranded D2a and [Pt(N,N)(PEGda)](2+) were analyzed by negative-ion ESI-MS. Analysis of D2-Pt(II) mixtures showed the formation of 1 : 1 adducts of [Pt(en)(PEGda)](2+), [Pt(tmeda)(PEGda)](2+) and the previously-described metallomacrocycle [Pt(2)(2,2'-bipy)(2){4,4'-bipy(CH(2))(4)4,4'-bipy}(2)](8+) with D2; the dinuclear species bound to D2 most strongly, consistent with its greater charge and aromatic surface area. D2 formed 1 : 2 complexes with the acyclic species [Pt(2,2'-bipy)(Mebipy)(2)](4+) and [Pt(2,2'-bipy)(NH(3))(2)](2+). Analyses of D2a-Pt(II) mixtures gave results similar to those obtained with D2, although fragmentation was more pronounced, indicating that the nucleobases in D2a play more significant roles in mediating the decomposition of complexes than those in D2, in which they are paired in a complementary manner. Investigations were also conducted into the effects of selected platinum(II) complexes on the thermal denaturation of calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) in buffered solution. Both [Pt(2)(2,2'-bipy)(2){4,4'-bipy(CH(2))(6)4,4'-bipy}(2)](8+) and [Pt(2,2'-bipy)(Mebipy)(2)](4+) stabilized CT-DNA. In contrast, [Pt(tmeda)(PEGda)](2+) and [Pt(en)(PEGda)](2+) (as well as free PEGda) caused negligible changes in melting temperature (ΔT(m)), suggesting that these species interact weakly with CT-DNA.  相似文献

The 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazole ligand prepared by click chemistry 1-(2-picolyl)-4-phenyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole (ppt) was investigated as novel chelating ligand for Ru(II) complexes with potential antitumor activity. The preparation and structural characterization, mainly by NMR spectroscopy in solution and by X-ray crystallography in the solid state, of four new Ru(II) complexes is reported: two isomeric Ru-dmso compounds, trans,cis-[RuCl(2)(dmso-S)(2)(ppt)] (1) and cis,cis-[RuCl(2)(dmso-S)(2)(ppt)] (2), and two half-sandwich Ru-[9]aneS(3) coordination compounds, [Ru([9]aneS(3))(dmso-S)(ppt)][CF(3)SO(3)](2) (3) and [Ru([9]aneS(3))Cl(ppt)][CF(3)SO(3)] (4). In all compounds ppt firmly binds to ruthenium in a bidentate fashion through the pyridyl nitrogen atom and the triazole N2, thus forming a puckered six-membered ring. The chemical behavior in aqueous solution of the water-soluble complexes 3 and 4 was studied by UV-Vis and NMR spectroscopy and compared to that of the previously described organometallic analogue [Ru(η(6)-p-cymene)Cl(ppt)][Cl] (5) in view of their potential antitumor activity. Compounds 3-5 were tested also in vitro for cytotoxic activity against two human cancer cell lines, one sensitive and one resistant to cisplatin, in comparison with cisplatin. Compound 4, the one that aquates faster, was found to be more cytotoxic than cisplatin against human lung squamose carcinoma cell line (A-549).  相似文献

The mono- and binuclear aryldiazene complexes [Re(C6H5N=NH)(CO)5-nPn]BY4 (1-5) and [(Re(CO)5-nPn)2-(mu-HN=NAr-ArN=NH)](BY4)2 (6-12) [P = P(OEt)3, PPh(OEt)2, PPh2OEt; n = 1-4; Ar-Ar = 4,4'-C6H4-C6H4, 4,4'-(2-CH3)C6H3-C6H3(2-CH3), 4,4'-C6H4-CH2-C6H4; Y = F, Ph) were prepared by reacting the hydride species ReH(CO)5-nPn with the appropriate mono- and bis(aryldiazonium) cations. These compounds, as well as other prepared compounds, were characterized spectroscopically (IR; 1H, 31P, 13C, and 15N NMR data), and 1a was also characterized by an X-ray crystal structure determination. [Re(C6H5N=NH)(CO)(P(OEt)3)4]BPh4 (1a) crystallizes in space group P1 with a = 15.380(5) A, b = 13.037(5) A, c = 16.649(5) A, alpha = 90.33(5) degrees, beta = 91.2(1) degrees, gamma = 89.71(9) degrees, and Z = 2. The "diazene-diazonium" complexes [M(CO)3P2(HN=NAr-ArN identical to N)](BF4)2 (13-15, 17) [M = Re, Mn; P = PPh2OEt, PPh2OMe, PPh3; Ar-Ar = 4,4'-C6H4-C6H4, 4,4'-C6H4-CH2-C6H4] and [Re(CO)4(PPh2OEt)(4,4'-HN=NC6H4-C6H4N identical to N)](BF4)2 (16b) were synthesized by allowing the hydrides MH(CO)3P2 or ReH(CO)4P to react with equimolar amounts of bis(aryldiazonium) cations under appropriate conditions. Reactions of diazene-diazonium complexes 13-17 with the metal hydrides M2H2P'4 and M2'H(CO)5-nP"n afforded the heterobinuclear bis(aryldiazene) derivatives [M1(CO)3P2(mu-HN=NAr-ArN=NH)M2HP'4](BPh4)2 (ReFe, ReRu, ReOs, MnRu, MnOs) and [M1(CO)3P2(mu-HN=NAr-ArN=NH)M2'(CO)5-nP"n](BPh4)2 (ReMn, MnRe) [M1 = Re, Mn; M2 = Fe, Ru, Os; M2' = Mn, Re; P = PPh2OEt, PPh2OMe; P',P" = P(OEt)3, PPh(OEt)2; Ar-Ar = 4,4'-C6H4-C6H4, 4,4'-C6H4-CH2-C6H4; n = 1, 2]. The heterotrinuclear complexes [Re(CO)3(PPh2OEt)2(mu-4,4'-HN=NC6H4-C6H4N=NH)M(P(OEt)3)4(mu-4,4'-HN=NC6H4- C6H4N=NH)Mn(CO)3(PPh2OEt)2](BPh4)4 (M = Ru, Os) (ReRuMn, ReOsMn) were obtained by reacting the heterobinuclear complexes ReRu and ReOs with the appropriate diazene-diazonium cations. The heterobinuclear complex with a bis(aryldiazenido) bridging ligand [Mn(CO)2(PPh2OEt)2(mu-4,4'-N2C6H4-C6H4N2)Fe(P(OEt)3)4]BPh4 (MnFe) was prepared by deprotonating the bis(aryldiazene) compound [Mn(CO)3(PPh2OEt)2(mu-4,4'-HN=NC6H4-C6H4N=NH)Fe(4- CH3C6H4CN)(P(OEt)3)4](BPh4)3. Finally, the binuclear compound [Re(CO)3(PPh2OEt)2(mu-4,4'-HN=NC6H4-C6H4N2)Fe(CO)2(P(OPh)3)2](BPh4)2 (ReFe) containing a diazene-diazenido bridging ligand was prepared by reacting [Re(CO)3(PPh2OEt)2(4,4'-HN=NC6H4-C6H4N identical to N)]+ with the FeH2(CO)2(P(OPh)3)2 hydride derivative. The electrochemical reduction of mono- and binuclear aryldiazene complexes of both rhenium (1-12) and the manganese, as well as heterobinuclear ReRu and MnRu complexes, was studied by means of cyclic voltammetry and digital simulation techniques. The electrochemical oxidation of the mono- and binuclear aryldiazenido compounds Mn(C6H5N2)(CO)2P2 and (Mn(CO)2P2)2(mu-4,4'-N2C6H4-C6H4N2) (P = PPh2OEt) was also examined. Electrochemical data show that, for binuclear compounds, the diazene bridging unit allows delocalization of electrons between the two different redox centers of the same molecule, whereas the two metal centers behave independently in the presence of the diazenido bridging unit.  相似文献

The 1,1-cyclobutane dicarboxylate ligand (cbdc), that normally binds to metal centres as a chelate (eta(2)-cbdc-O,O'), prefers to bind in an unprecedented bridging fashion (micro-cbdc-O,O') on cationic Ru(ii) centres bearing ancillary ligands (e.g. H(2)O, NH(3)) capable of making intramolecular H-bonds with the non-coordinated oxygen atoms of the carboxylate groups. Thus, the thermodynamic product of the reaction between cis,fac-[RuCl(2)(dmso-S)(3)(dmso-O)]() and cbdc in a number of different reaction conditions is the dinuclear species with two bridging cbdc units fac-[Ru(micro-cbdc-O,O')(dmso-S)(3)(H(2)O)](2) (2). Similarly, reaction of cis,fac-[RuCl(2)(dmso-S)(3)(NH(3))] (3) with cbdc yielded the corresponding dinuclear species fac-[Ru(micro-cbdc-O,O')(dmso-S)(3)(NH(3))](2) (4), in which ammonia occupies the position of the water molecule in 2. Both dinuclear species 2 and 4 were characterized by X-ray crystallography and have an anti geometry with respect to the H(2)O or NH(3) ligands. The results from the X-ray studies are consistent with the NMR spectroscopic data, indicating that the dinuclear structures observed in the solid state are maintained in solution. The mononuclear anionic complex with a chelating cbdc unit, K{fac-[RuCl(eta(2)-cbdc-O,O')(dmso-S)(3)]}(5), was isolated under appropriate conditions form the reaction of 1 with K(2)(cbdc) and was demonstrated to be an intermediate in the formation of 2.  相似文献

Two novel compounds, [Co(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](4-abs)(2).H(2)O (1) and [Mn(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](4-abs)(2).2H(2)O (2) (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine; 4-abs = 4-aminobenzenesulfonate), have been synthesized in aqueous solution and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses, UV-vis and IR spectra, and TG analysis. X-ray structural analysis revealed that 1 and 2 both possess unusual hydrogen-bonded three-dimensional (3-D) networks encapsulating one-dimensional (1-D) covalently bonded infinite [M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](2+) (M = Co, Mn) chains. The 4-abs anions in 1 form 1-D zigzag chains through hydrogen bonds. These chains are further extended through crystallization water molecules into 3-D hydrogen-bonded networks with 1-D channels, in which the [Co(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](2+) linear covalently bonded chains are located. Crystal data for 1: C(22)H(30)CoN(4)O(11)S(2), monoclinic P2(1), a = 11.380(2) A, b = 8.0274(16) A, c = 15.670(3) A, alpha = gamma = 90 degrees, beta = 92.82(3) degrees, Z = 2. Compound 2 contains interesting two-dimensional (2-D) honeycomb-like networks formed by 4-abs anions and lattice water molecules via hydrogen bonding, which are extended through other crystallization water molecules into three dimensions with 1-D hexagonal channels. The [Mn(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](2+) linear covalent chains exist in these channels. Crystal data for 2: C(22)H(32)MnN(4)O(12)S(2), monoclinic P2(1)/c, a = 15.0833(14) A, b = 8.2887(4) A, c = 23.2228(15) A, alpha = gamma = 90 degrees, beta = 95.186(3) degrees, Z = 4.  相似文献

A series of hetero- and homometallic square complexes bridged by a photoactive 4,4'-azopyridine (AZP) or 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (BPE) ligand, cyclobis[[cis-(dppf)M](mu-L)(2)(fac-Re(CO)(3)Br)](OTf)(4) (M = Pd, L = trans-AZP (5); M = Pt, L = trans-AZP (7); M = Pd, L = trans-BPE (8); M = Pt, L = trans-BPE (10)), cyclo[[cis-(dppf)M](mu-L)(2)(fac-Re(CO)(3)Br)](OTf)(2) (M = Pd, L = cis-AZP (6); M = Pd, L = cis-BPE (9)), [cis-(dppf)Pd(mu-trans-AZP)](4)(OTf)(8) (11), and [cis-(dppf)Pd(mu-cis-AZP)](2)(OTf)(4) (12), where dppf is 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene and OTf is trifluoromethanesulfonate anion, were prepared by thermodynamically driven self-assembly processes. The photophysical and photochemical properties of these complexes have been investigated, and all of them show a lack of luminescence in room temperature solution. Upon irradiation at 313 or 366 nm, Pd(II)-Re(I)-containing tetranuclear squares 5, 8, and 11 undergo photoisomerization and convert to their corresponding dinuclear complexes 6, 9, and 12, whereas Pt(II)-Re(I)-based squares 7 and 10 show only slow square disassembling processes. The tetranuclear squares can be fully recovered by heating the photoisomerized solution for several hours.  相似文献
