We prove a sharper so-called Mordell-Lang plus Bogomolov type result for curves lying in the two-dimensional linear torus. We mainly follow the approach of Rémond in (Comp Math 134:337–366, 2002), using Vojta and Mumford type inequalities. In the special case we consider, we improve Rémond’s main result using a better Bogomolov property and an elementary arithmetic Bézout theorem.   相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study categorifications of tensor products of finite-dimensional modules for the quantum group for . The main categorification is obtained using certain Harish-Chandra bimodules for the complex Lie algebra . For the special case of simple modules we naturally deduce a categorification via modules over the cohomology ring of certain flag varieties. Further geometric categorifications and the relation to Steinberg varieties are discussed.We also give a categorical version of the quantised Schur–Weyl duality and an interpretation of the (dual) canonical bases and the (dual) standard bases in terms of projective, tilting, standard and simple Harish-Chandra bimodules.  相似文献

Let X = Γ \G/ K be an arithmetic quotient of a symmetric space of non-compact type. In the case that G has -rank 1, we construct Γ-equivariant deformation retractions of D = G/K onto a set D0. We prove that D0 is a spine, having dimension equal to the virtual cohomological dimension of Γ. In fact, there is a (k − 1)-parameter family of such deformation retractions, where k is the number of Γ -conjugacy classes of rational parabolic subgroups of G. The construction of the spine also gives a way to construct an exact fundamental domain for Γ.  相似文献

We present results for the universal anomalous dimension γun(j) of Wilson twist-2 operators in the supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory in the first three orders of the perturbation theory. We obtain these expressions by extracting the most complicated terms from the corresponding anomalous dimensions in QCD. In this paper, we establish several decidability results for pseudovariety joins of the form \sf Vú\sf W{\sf V}\vee{\sf W} , where \sf V{\sf V} is a subpseudovariety of \sf J{\sf J} or the pseudovariety \sf R{\sf R} . Here, \sf J{\sf J} (resp. \sf R{\sf R} ) denotes the pseudovariety of all J{\cal J} -trivial (resp. ?{\cal R} -trivial) semigroups. In particular, we show that the pseudovariety \sf Vú\sf W{\sf V}\vee{\sf W} is (completely) κ-tame when \sf V{\sf V} is a subpseudovariety of \sf J{\sf J} with decidable κ-word problem and \sf W{\sf W} is (completely) κ-tame. Moreover, if \sf W{\sf W} is a κ-tame pseudovariety which satisfies the pseudoidentity x1xryω+1ztω = x1xryztω, then we prove that \sf Rú\sf W{\sf R}\vee{\sf W} is also κ-tame. In particular the joins \sf Rú\sf Ab{\sf R}\vee{\sf Ab} , \sf Rú\sf G{\sf R}\vee{\sf G} , \sf Rú\sf OCR{\sf R}\vee{\sf OCR} , and \sf Rú\sf CR{\sf R}\vee{\sf CR} are decidable.  相似文献

An orthogonal complex structure on a domain in is a complex structure which is integrable and is compatible with the Euclidean metric. This gives rise to a first order system of partial differential equations which is conformally invariant. We prove two Liouville-type uniqueness theorems for solutions of this system, and use these to give an alternative proof of the classification of compact locally conformally flat Hermitian surfaces first proved by Pontecorvo. We also give a classification of non-degenerate quadrics in under the action of the conformal group SO °(1, 5). Using this classification, we show that generic quadrics give rise to orthogonal complex structures defined on the complement of unknotted solid tori which are smoothly embedded in . We give complete characterizations of integral functionals which are Lipschitzian on a Lebesgue space L p with p ≠ ∞. When the measure is atomless, we characterize the integral functionals which are locally Lipschitzian on such Lebesgue spaces. In every cases, the Lipchitzian properties of the integral functional can be described by growth conditions on the subdifferentials of the integrand which are equivalent to Lipschitzian properties of the integrand.   相似文献

Let G be a finitely presented pro- C{\cal C} group with discrete relations. We prove that the kernel of an epimorphism of G to [^(\Bbb Z)]C\hat{\Bbb Z}_{\cal C} is topologically finitely generated if G does not contain a free pro- C{\cal C} group of rank 2. In the case of pro-p groups the result is due to J. Wilson and E. A class of ranked posets {(D h k , ≪)} has been recently defined in order to analyse, from a combinatorial viewpoint, particular systems of real homogeneous inequalities between monomials. In the present paper we focus on the posets D 2 k , which are related to systems of the form {x a x b * abcd x c x d : 0 ≤ a, b, c, dk, * abcd ∈ {<, >}, 0 < x 0 < x 1 < ...< x k}. As a consequence of the general theory, the logical dependency among inequalities is adequately captured by the so-defined posets . These structures, whose elements are all the D 2 k 's incomparable pairs, are thoroughly surveyed in the following pages. In particular, their order ideals – crucially significant in connection with logical consequence – are characterised in a rather simple way. In the second part of the paper, a class of antichains is shown to enjoy some arithmetical properties which make it an efficient tool for detecting incompatible systems, as well as for posing some compatibility questions in a purely combinatorial fashion.  相似文献

There are three key ingredients in the study of the minimal genus problem for rational surfaces : the generalized adjunction formula, the action of the orthogonal group of the Lorentz space and the geometric construction. In this paper, we prove the uniqueness of the standard form (see Definition 1.1 and Theorem 1.1) of a 2-dimensional homology class under the action of the subgroup of the Lorentz orthogonal group that is realized by the diffeomorphisms of .
