横向紊动射流作为流体运动的一种重要类型,广泛存在于如: 燃气轮机气膜冷却、锅炉燃烧室等的燃烧控制, V/STOL(垂直或短距离起落)飞机、废气排放的控制等工程实际应用中.由于射流的存在,增加了流场的复杂性,流场中同时存在射流剪切层涡、马蹄形涡系、反向旋涡对和尾迹涡等4种涡系结构,这对流体力学理论研究具有重要意义.长期以来,研究人员从理论分析、实验测量和数值模拟方面对横向紊动射流进行了大量的研究工作,目前已经认识了流场中的许多流动特性和流动机理.从数值模拟和实验研究两个方面,比较并分析了国内外横向紊动射流研究的现状和研究结果,评述了不同湍流模型以及不同的实验测量方法对横向紊动射流的预测能力,讨论了存在的问题并对该领域的研究方向进行了展望.   相似文献

双排开孔圆筒防波堤是基于圆筒、板式结构的一种复合式新型结构型式;基于不可压缩两相流模型建立三维数值波浪水槽,通过RNG k-ε湍流模型进行湍流封闭,并采用TruVOF方法捕捉自由液面,开展波浪与双排开孔圆筒防波堤相互作用数值模拟,探究相对排间距、开孔率对新型双排开孔圆筒防波堤消浪性能的影响,分析了后排开孔圆筒防波堤附近的复杂水动力现象和流动特性.结果表明,在本文研究工况范围内,沿程平均波高随相对排间距的增大先增大后减小,随开孔率的增大而增大,周期对沿程平均波高的影响没有明显规律;当B/D=9, e=23.11%时,新型双排开孔圆筒防波堤消浪效果最优,反射系数在0.4~0.46之间,透射系数在0.3~0.35之间,耗散系数在0.8~0.85之间;自由液面破碎、水气掺混、环状涡运动演化是新型双排开孔圆筒防波堤紊动耗能消波的主要原因;相对排间距会引起后排防波堤附近涡量分布以及剪切层形态的变化,从而导致不同的紊动特性,影响双排开孔圆筒防波堤消浪特性.研究结果可以为新型双排开孔圆筒防波堤工程设计与消浪机理研究提供理论支撑.  相似文献

悬移质泥沙通常构成冲积河流总输沙量的主体, 研究悬移质的悬浮机理具有重要的意义. 以双流体模型为基础, 通过引入弥散速度的概念, 建立了悬移质泥沙的输沙方程以及泥沙扩散系数的本构关系. 应用该方程分析了二维明渠均匀流中悬移质泥沙浓度垂向分布规律, 并与Einstein 和Chien 的泥沙浓度实验资料及经典扩散理论进行了对比. 以此为基础, 分析了紊动扩散、颗粒自身的紊动、颗粒碰撞应力对泥沙悬浮的影响在垂向上的变化, 以及浓度、粒径等对这些因素的影响. 结果表明, 泥沙颗粒在明渠紊流中的扩散是浑水的紊动扩散、颗粒自身的紊动、颗粒碰撞应力3 部分不同机制共同作用的结果, 把泥沙颗粒的悬浮简单归因于水流的紊动是不全面的.  相似文献

采用电磁流速仪, 在接近天然河道形态的连续弯道中, 对沿程断面上各点的脉动流速进行量测.根据测得的数据分析得到了紊动能谱、紊动强 度、紊动切应力、紊动能、紊动参数等的全断面分布.研究结果表明水流紊动主要集中在10 Hz以下,不同环流形式与各种紊动量之间会互相影响,边壁处纵向紊动强烈、横向和垂向紊动较弱.  相似文献

在规定的气象水文条件下,水陆两栖飞机起飞和降落的能力是决定其性能的重要因素,即耐波性能。采用ALE方法对流体域进行描述,运用基于微幅波理论的动边界数值造波方法模拟了不同波高和不同波长的动态海平面波浪,通过添加质量阻尼的消波方法抑制了固壁边界反射波对造波结果的影响,并采用罚函数耦合方法描述飞机与水体的耦合作用,研究了水陆两栖飞机在不同海情条件下波浪面上降落的纵摇运动、升沉运动以及底部压力等运动学和动力学特性,分析了水陆两栖飞机入水波浪的波长及波高对水陆两栖飞机耐波性能的影响,为飞机结构设计、水上降落操作规则制订及水陆两栖飞机耐波性物理水池试验提供参考。  相似文献

针对规则波浪在强逆流作用下的阻塞现象进行实验研究,给出了不同波况下的波高与周期沿水槽的变化.实验结果表明,波浪的频率越低,所需的阻塞流速越强;波幅离散对阻塞的影响很大,不能被忽略;对于较大的入射波高,边带不稳定性会使波浪发生频率下移,进而增大阻塞所需的流速.  相似文献

近岸波浪的变形与破碎,一方面影响水体与泥沙运输,另一方面对消波护岸具有指导意义.本文提出一种三维混合湍流模拟模式方法,将求解区域分为造波区、波浪传播区和消波区.造波区采用层流模式,通过基于Fluent的二次开发的UDF方法在边界进行速度造波.这种方法在给定入口速度的条件下,根据已知波高进行精准插值,从而控制水的体积分数.在波浪传播区域,采用大涡模拟进行模拟研究,在消波区,采用RANS模型并利用多孔介质消波法进行消波.模型通过VOF方法捕捉波浪破碎过程中的自由面变化.本文对波高为5.5 cm的规则波(M1)、波高为13.5cm的规则波(M3)、有效波高为7.75cm的TMA谱单向不规则波(U1)和有效波高为19cm的TMA谱多向不规则波(B5)展开了模拟研究,并与前人的相关实验结果作比较,各条件下模拟结果与实验结果吻合.模拟结果说明本文提出的模型能够准确模拟出波浪传播过程中的折射和绕射现象,并且能够捕捉的波浪破碎过程中的自由面变化,为三维波浪的传播与破碎的数值模拟提供一种模拟方法.  相似文献

为准确描述波浪中舰船远程尾流区气泡运动规律,分别建立了波浪中远程尾流场气泡质心运动和径向运动模型;并结合二维深水波模型,构建了波浪中尾流气泡运动耦合模型。采用变步长龙格库塔法进行数值求解,模拟得出波浪中尾流气泡的两个运动特征规律:(1)气泡在波浪中的上浮轨迹呈螺旋状,且气泡尺度越小,受波浪牵引作用越显著;(2)波浪的波长越短,波高越高,气泡在波浪传播方向的位移越大,但气泡的存留时间受波浪的影响很小。该模型考虑了真实海况中波浪对气泡运动的影响,可作为研究舰船尾流气泡运动特性及尾流场演化规律的理论基础。  相似文献

采用VOF(Volume of Fluid)方法追踪自由液面,辅以Realizable(可实现化)κ-ε湍流模型封闭两相流时均方程,对有限尾水深波浪底板壁面射流水力特性进行了数值模拟。微分方程的离散采用有限体积法,速度与压力耦合求解使用了压力隐式算子分裂PISO(Pressure-Implicit with Splitting of Operators)算法。分析了入射速度和底板粗糙度对流场流线分布、横断面最大流速沿程衰减规律、底板压强分布规律等水力特性的影响。研究发现:流场内存在两个大的漩涡,而且波浪底板凹面附近存在有小的漩涡;入射流速越大,横断面最大流速沿程衰减梯度越大;波浪底板上的压强也呈波状分布,且压强大小主要受入射流速和底板粗糙度两个因素的影响。  相似文献

This paper describes an experimental development for temporal and spatial reconstruction of continuously varying flow fields by means of digital cinematographic particle image velocimetry (PIV). The system uses a copper-vapor laser illumination synchronized with a high-speed camera, and continuously samples at 250 fps to measure transient and non-periodic turbulent flows with relatively low frequencies, i.e., the surf zone turbulence produced by depth-limited wave break in a long laboratory flume. The use of the developed PIV system comprehensively records the temporal development of both phase-averaged and instantaneous turbulent vortex flows descended from the breaking waves to the bottom. Also, the measured power spectra show harmonic frequencies, ranging from the orbital frequency of 0.5 Hz up to the order of 5 Hz, and the well-known −5/3 dependence upon the turbulence fluctuation frequencies thereafter. A new approach for 2-dimensional flow field investigation by PIV has been developed for measurements with high spatial resolution without the well known directional ambiguity. This feature of the technique is especially important for measurements in flows with reversal regions or strong turbulent motion as in-cylinder engine measurements. The major aim of the work was to achieve the benefits of cross correlation PIV image evaluation at reasonable cost and under application of common single wavelength double pulsed laser systems as they are mainly used for PIV experiments. The development of the technique is based on polarization rotation of the light scattered by the seeding particles by means of a ferroelectric liquid crystal half wave plate (FLC).Measurement samples from low turbulent jets and the flow in the wake of a cylinder are being presented.  相似文献

We present here experimental results in a shock wave/turbulent boundary layer interaction at Mach number of 2.3 impinged by an oblique shock wave, with a deflection angle of 9.5°, as installed in the supersonic wind tunnel of the IUSTI laboratory, France. For such a shock intensity, strong unsteadiness are developing inside the separated zone involving very low frequencies associated with reflected shock motions.The present work consists in simultaneous PIV velocity fields and unsteady wall pressure measurements. The wall pressure and PIV measurements were used to characterize the pressure distribution at the wall in an axial direction, and the flow field associated. These results give access for the first time to the spatial-time correlation between wall pressure and velocity in a shock wave turbulent boundary layer interaction and show the feasibility of such coupling techniques in compressible flows. Linear Stochastic Estimation (LSE) coupled with Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) has been applied to these measurements, and first results are presented here, showing the ability of these techniques to reproduce both the unsteady breathing of the recirculating bubble at low frequency and the Kelvin–Helmholtz instabilities developing at moderate frequency.  相似文献

The motion of turbulent Stokes waves on a finite constant depth fluid with a rough bed is considered. First and second order turbulent boundary layer equations are solved numerically for a range of roughness parameters, and from the solutions are calculated the mass transport velocity profiles and attenuation coefficients. A new mechanism of turbulent mass transport is found which predicts a reduction and reversal of drift velocity in shallow water in agreement with experimental observations under turbulent conditions. This transpires because the second order Stokes wave motion, in a turbulent boundary layer, can directly influence the mass transport velocity by mode coupling interactions between different second order Fourier modes of oscillation. It is also found that the Euler contribution due to the radiation stress of the first order motion is reduced to half of it's corresponding laminar value as a consequence of the velocity squared stress law. The attenuation is found to be of inverse algebraic type with the reciprocal wave height varying linearly with either distance or time. The severe wave height restriction applicable to the Longuet-Higgins [4] solution is shown not to apply to progressive waves on a finite constant depth of fluid. The existence of sand bars on sloping beaches exposed to turbulent waves is predicted.  相似文献

A transonic interaction between a steady shock wave and a turbulent boundary layer in a Mach 1.4 channel flow is experimentally investigated by means of particle image velocimetry (PIV). In the test section, the lower wall is equipped with a contour profile shaped as a bump allowing flow separation. The transonic interaction, characterized by the existence in the outer flow of a lambda shock pattern, causes the separation of the boundary layer, and a low-speed recirculating bubble is observed downstream of the shock foot. Two-component PIV velocity measurements have been performed using an iterative gradient-based cross-correlation algorithm, providing high-speed and flexible calculations, instead of the classic multi-pass processing with FFT-based cross-correlation. The experiments are performed discussing all the hypotheses linked to the experimental set-up and the technique of investigation such as the two-dimensionality assumption of the flow, the particle response assessment, the seeding system, and the PIV correlation uncertainty. Mean velocity fields are presented for the whole interaction with particular attention for the recirculating bubble downstream of the detachment, especially in the mixing layer zone where the effects of the shear stress are most relevant. Turbulence is discussed in details, the results are compared to previous study, and new results are given for the turbulent production term and the return to isotropy mechanism. Finally, using different camera lens, a zoom in the vicinity of the wall presents mean and turbulent velocity fields for the incoming boundary layer.  相似文献

An experimental study was performed in stratified wavy flow of air and water through a horizontal pipe. The velocity fields in both phases were measured simultaneously using PIV and the interfacial shape was resolved using a profile capturing technique. The objective of the study was to investigate the interfacial characteristics and the velocities of the liquid and gas phases in two wave patterns: ‘3D small amplitude’ and ‘2D large amplitude’ waves. The wave patterns were shown to consist of gravity and gravity-capillary waves, respectively, with substantial differences in the wave characteristics and liquid velocities. Contrary to this, the effect of the waves on the gas velocities was rather similar in both wave regimes, with both wave regimes causing an increase in the velocity fluctuations close to the interface. The current measurements also produced a valuable dataset that can be used to further improve the numerical modeling of the stratified flow pattern.  相似文献

Boundary layer flows are ubiquitous in the environment, but their study is often complicated by their thinness, geometric irregularity and boundary porosity. In this paper, we present an approach to making laboratory-based particle image velocimetry (PIV) measurements in these complex flow environments. Clear polycarbonate spheres were used to model a porous and rough bed. The strong curvature of the spheres results in a diffuse volume illuminated region instead of the more traditional finite and thin light sheet illuminated region, resulting in the imaging of both in-focus and significantly out-of-focus particles. Results of a traditional cross-correlation-based PIV-type analysis of these images demonstrate that the mean and turbulent features of an oscillatory boundary layer driven by a free-surface wave over an irregular-shaped porous bed can be robustly measured. Measurements of the mean flow, turbulent intensities, viscous and turbulent stresses are presented and discussed. Velocity spectra have been calculated showing an inertial subrange confirming that the PIV analysis is sufficiently robust to extract turbulence. The presented technique is particularly well suited for the study of highly dynamic free-surface flows that prevent the delivery of the light sheet from above the bed, such as swash flows.  相似文献

A Blasius laminar boundary layer and a steady turbulent boundary layer on a flat plate in an incompressible fluid are considered. The spectral characteristics of the Tollmien—Schlichting (TS) and Squire waves are numerically determined in a wide range of Reynolds numbers. Based on the spectral characteristics, relations determining the three–wave resonance of TS waves are studied. It is shown that the three–wave resonance is responsible for the appearance of a continuous low–frequency spectrum in the laminar region of the boundary layer. The spectral characteristics allow one to obtain quantities that enter the equations of dynamics of localized perturbations. By analogy with the laminar boundary layer, the three–wave resonance of TS waves in a turbulent boundary layer is considered.  相似文献

The Rapid-Distortion-Theory-based analysis proposed by Fernando and Hunt [1] is extended to study the nature of turbulence in and around a density interface sandwiched between turbulent layers with dissimilar properties. It is shown that interfacial motions consist of low-frequency, resonantly excited, nonlinear internal waves and high-frequency, linear internal waves driven by background turbulence. Based on the assumptions that (i) all resonant waves and some nonresonant waves having frequencies close to the resonant frequencies grow rapidly, break, and cause interfacial mixing, (ii) the spectral amplitude of the vertical velocity in the wave-breaking regime is constant, and (iii) kinetic energy is equipartitioned between linear and nonlinear breaking wave regimes, the r.m.s. vertical velocity at the interface and the turbulent kinetic energy flux into the interface are calculated. The migration velocity of the interface is calculated using the additional assumption that the buoyancy flux into a given turbulent layer is a fixed fraction of the turbulent kinetic energy flux supplied to the interface by the same layer. The calculations are found to be in good agreement with the entrainment data obtained in previous laboratory experiments in the parameter regime where the interface is dominated by internal wave dynamics. Particle image velocimetry (PIV) data have been acquired using three different experimental configurations in the far-field of the interaction created by a transverse supersonic jet exhausting from a flat plate into a transonic crossflow. The configurations included two-component PIV in the centerline streamwise plane at two overlapping stations, as well as stereoscopic PIV in both the same streamwise plane and in the crossplane. All measurement planes intersected at a common line. Data from both two-component measurement stations and the stereoscopic streamwise configuration agreed to within the estimated uncertainty, but data from the crossplane exhibited reduced velocity and turbulent stress magnitudes by a small but significant degree. Subsequent reprocessing of the data in nominally the same manner using a newer software package brought all values into close agreement with each other, but produced substantially higher turbulent stresses. The error source associated with the choice of software was traced to the use of image deformation in the newer software to treat velocity gradients, which is shown by synthetic PIV tests to yield a more accurate result for turbulence measurements even for gradients within the recommended limits for classical PIV. These detailed comparisons of replicate data suggest that routine methods of uncertainty quantification used for a turbulent PIV experiment may not fully capture the actual error sources.  相似文献
