The reactions of four flexible tetradentate ligands, 1,3-bis(2-pyridylthio)propane (L1), 1,4-bis(2-pyridylthio)butane (L2), 1,5-bis(2-pyridylthio)pentane (L3) and 1,6-bis(2-pyridylthio)hexane (L4) with AgX (X = BF4-, ClO4-, PF6-, or CF3SO3-) lead to the formation of seven new complexes: [AgL1(BF4)]2 (1), [[AgL2](ClO4)]infinity (2), [[AgL2(CH3CN)](PF6)]infinity (3), [[AgL3](BF4)(CHCl3)]2 (4), [[AgL3(CF3SO3)](CH3OH)(0.5)]infinity (5), [[Ag2L4(2)](BF4)2]infinity (6), and [[AgL4](PF6)]infinity (7), which have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography. Single-crystal X-ray analyses show that complexes 1 and 4 possess dinuclear macrometallacyclic structures, and complexes 2, 3 and 5-7 take chain structures. In all the complexes, the nitrogen atoms of ligands preferentially coordinate to silver atoms to form normal coordination bonds, while the sulfur atoms only show weak interactions with silver atoms and the intermolecular AgS weak contacts connect the low-dimensional complexes into high-dimensional supramolecular networks. Additional weak interactions, such as pi-pi stacking, F...F weak interactions, Ag...O contacts or C-H...O hydrogen bonds, also help to stabilize the crystal structures. It was found that the parity of the -(CH2)n- spacers (n = 3-6) affect the orientation of the two terminal pyridyl rings, thereby significantly influence the framework formations of these complexes. The coordination features of ligands and their conformation changes between free and coordination states have been investigated by DFT calculations.  相似文献

A series of primary phosphine homoleptic complexes [ML(4)](n)()(+)X(n)() (1, M = Ni, n = 0; 2, M = Pd, n = 2, X = BF(4); 3, M = Cu, n = 1, X = PF(6); 4, M = Ag, n = 1, X = BF(4); L = PH(2)Mes, Mes = 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2)] was prepared from mesitylphosphine and Ni(COD)(2), [Pd(NCMe)(4)][BF(4)](2), [Cu(NCMe)(4)]PF(6), and AgBF(4), respectively. Reactions of 1-4 with MeC(CH(2)PPh(2))(3) (triphos) or [P(CH(2)CH(2)PPh(2))(3)] (tetraphos) afforded the derivatives [M(L')L](n)()(+)X(n)() (L' = triphos; 6, M = Ni, n = 0; 7, M = Cu, n = 1, X = PF(6); 8, M = Ag, n = 1, X = BF(4); L' = tetraphos; 9, M = Pd, n = 2, X = BF(4)). Addition of NOBF(4) to 1 yielded the nitrosyl compound [NiL(3)(NO)]BF(4), 5. The solution structure and dynamics of 1-9 were studied by (31)P NMR spectroscopy (including the first reported analyses of a 12-spin system for 1-2). Complexes 1, 3, 6, and 7.solvent were characterized crystallographically. The structural and spectroscopic studies suggest that the coordination properties of L are dominated by its relatively small cone angle and that the basicity of L is comparable to that of more commonly used tertiary phosphines.  相似文献

Studies on the subtle effects and roles of polyatomic anions in the self-assembly of a series of AgX complexes with 2,4'-Py(2)S (X(-) = NO(3)(-), BF(4)(-), ClO(4)(-), PF(6)(-), CF(3)CO(2)(-), and CF(3)SO(3)(-); 2,4'-Py(2)S = 2,4'-thiobis(pyridine)) have been carried out. The formation of products appears to be primarily associated with a suitable combination of the skewed conformers of 2,4'-Py(2)S and a variety of coordination geometries of Ag(I) ions. The molecular construction via self-assembly is delicately dependent upon the nature of the anions. Coordinating anions afford the 1:1 adducts [Ag(2,4'-Py(2)S)X] (X(-) = NO(3)(-) and CF(3)CO(2)(-)), whereas noncoordinating anions form the 3:4 adducts [Ag(3)(2,4'-Py(2)S)(4)]X(3) (X(-) = ClO(4)(-) and PF(6)(-)). Each structure seems to be constructed by competition between pi-pi interactions of 2,4'-Py(2)S spacers vs Ag.X interactions. For ClO(4)(-) and PF(6)(-), an anion-free network consisting of linear Ag(I) and trigonal Ag(I) in a 1:2 ratio has been obtained whereas, for the coordinating anions NO(3)(-) and CF(3)CO(2)(-), an anion-bridged helix sheet and an anion-bridged cyclic dimer chain, respectively, have been assembled. For a moderately coordinating anion, CF(3)SO(3)(-), the 3:4 adduct [Ag(3)(2,4'-Py(2)S)(4)](CF(3)SO(3))(3) has been obtained similarly to the noncoordinating anions, but its structure is a double strand via both face-to-face (pi-pi) stackings and Ag.Ag interactions, in contrast to the noncoordinating anions. The anion exchanges of [Ag(3)(2,4'-Py(2)S)(4)]X(3) (X(-) = BF(4)(-), ClO(4)(-), and PF(6)(-)) with BF(4)(-), ClO(4)(-), and PF(6)(-) in aqueous media indicate that a [BF(4)(-)] analogue is isostructural with [Ag(3)(2,4'-Py(2)S)(4)]X(3) (X(-) = ClO(4)(-) and PF(6)(-)). Furthermore, the anion exchangeability for the noncoordinating anion compounds and the X-ray data for the coordinating anion compounds establish the coordinating order to be NO(3)(-) > CF(3)CO(2)(-) > CF(3)SO(3)(-) > PF(6)(-) > ClO(4)(-) > BF(4)(-).  相似文献

The crystal structures of thirteen AgI coordination polymers involving py-CONH-(CH2)n-py (py=pyridine; n=0, 1) derivatives were determined by means of single-crystal X-ray analyses. All of the compounds form one-dimensional chains composed of AgI atoms and bridging ligands with formulas [[Ag(py-CONH-(CH2)n-py)][X]]n (X=PF6 -, ClO4 -, BF4 -, and NO3 - with solvent molecules). The unsymmetrical coordination environments around AgI atoms induce direction in the chains, that is, -[NH-(CH2)n-py-Ag-py-CO]-, which resembles the alignment of amino acid chains in proteins. In compounds [[Ag(4-pia)][X]]n (1 supersetX; 4-pia=N-(4-pyridyl)isonicotinamide; X=PF6 -, ClO4 -, BF4 -, and NO3 -), [[Ag(4-pmia)][X]]n (2 supersetX; 4-pmia=N-(pyridin-4-ylmethyl)isonicotinamide; X=PF6 -, ClO4 -H2O, and NO3 -H2O), and [[Ag(3-pmia)][X]]n (3 supersetX; 3-pmia=N-(pyridin-3-ylmethyl)isonicotinamide; X=PF6 -, ClO4 -, BF4 -, and NO3 -H2O), each chain is aligned parallel to neighboring chains, but adjacent chains run in the opposite direction. Particularly in [[Ag(3-pmia)][PF6]]n (3 supersetPF6 -), [[Ag(3-pmia)][ClO4]]n (3 supersetClO4 -), and [[Ag(3-pmia)][BF4]]n (3 supersetBF4 -), amide moieties of 3-pmia ligands are complementarily hydrogen bonded to amide moieties in neighboring chains, as in the beta-sheet motif in proteins. On the other hand, in [[Ag(4-pmna)][PF6]MeOH]n (4-pmna=N-(pyridin-4-ylmethyl)nicotinamide), all chains in the crystal form left-handed (4 a supersetPF6 -MeOH) and right-handed (4 b supersetPF6 -MeOH) helical structures with a helical pitch of 28 A. Heterogeneous anion exchanges proceed reversibly in 2, but not in 3, which provides information about the thermal stabilities of the crystals.  相似文献

The two flexible multidentate ligands 1,3-bis(8-thioquinolyl)propane (C3TQ) and 1,4-bis(8-thioquinolyl)butane (C4TQ) were reacted with AgX (X = CF(3)SO(3)(-) or ClO(4)(-)) to give four new complexes: ([Ag(C3TQ)](ClO(4)))(n)() 1, ([Ag(C3TQ)](CF(3)SO(3)))(n)() 2, ([Ag(2)(C4TQ)(CF(3)SO(3))(CH(3)CN)](CF(3)SO(3)))(n)() 3, and ([Ag(C4TQ)](ClO(4)))(n)() 4. All complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and (1)H NMR spectroscopy. Single-crystal X-ray analysis showed that chain structures form for all complexes in which the quinoline rings interact via various intra- (1) or intermolecular (2, 3, and 4) pi-pi aromatic stacking interactions, which in the latter cases results in multidimensional structures. Additional weak interactions, such as Ag.O and Ag.S contacts and C-H.O hydrogen bonding, are also present and help form stable, crystalline materials. It was found that the (CH(2))(n) spacers (n = 3 or 4) affect the orientation of the two terminal quinolyl rings, thereby significantly influencing the specific framework structure that forms. If the same ligand is used, on the other hand, then the different counteranions have the greatest effect on the final structure.  相似文献

The dialkylcyanamide complexes cis-[PtCl(NCNR(2))(PPh(3))(2)][BF(4)] 1 and cis-[Pt(NCNR(2))(2)(PPh(3))(2)][BF(4)](2) 2 (R = Me or Et) have been prepared by treatment of a CH(2)Cl(2) solution of cis-[PtCl(2)(PPh(3))(2)] with the appropriate dialkylcyanamide and one or two equivalents of Ag[BF(4)], respectively. Compounds 2 can also be obtained from 1 by a similar procedure. Their reaction with oximes, HON=CR'R' ' (R'R' ' = Me(2) or C(4)H(8)), in CH(2)Cl(2) and in the presence of Ag[BF(4)] or Cu(CH(3)COO)(2), leads to the novel type of azametallacycles cis-[Pt(NH=C(ON=CR'R")-NR2)(PPh3)2][BF4]2 4 upon an unprecedented coupling of the organocyanamides with oximes, in a process that proceeds via the mixed oxime-organocyanamide species cis-[Pt(NCNR(2))(HON=CR'R' ')(PPh(3))(2)][BF(4)](2) 3, and is catalyzed by either Ag(+) or Cu(2+) which activate the ligating organocyanamide by Lewis acid addition to the amide group. In contrast, in the organonitrile complexes cis-[Pt(NCR)(2)(PPh(3))(2)][BF(4)](2) 5 (R = C(6)H(4)OMe-4 or Et), obtained in a similar way as 2 (but by using NCR instead of the cyanamide), the ligating NCR is not activated by the Lewis acid and does not couple with the oximes. The spectroscopic properties of those complexes are reported along with the molecular structures of 2b (R = Et), 4a1 (R = Me, R'R' ' = Me(2)), and 4b1 (R = Et, R'R' ' = Me(2)), as established by X-ray crystallography which indicates that in the former complex the amide-N-atoms are trigonal planar, whereas in the latter (4a1 and 4b1) the five-membered rings are planar with a localized N=C double bond (imine group derived from the cyanamide) and the exocyclic amide and alkylidene groups (in 4b1) are involved in two intramolecular H-bonds to the oxygen atom of the ring.  相似文献

New coordination polymers have been obtained by the self-assembly of silver salts AgX (X = BF 4, PF 6, CF 3SO 3) and 2,4-diamino-6-R-1,3,5-triazines L (R = phenyl and p-tolyl) of formulas AgLX ( 1- 6). A complex of different stoichiometry, [Ag 3L 2(H 2O)(acetone) 2](BF 4) 3, 7 (R = phenyl), has also been synthesized. The three-dimensional structures of five compounds have been determined by X-ray diffraction studies. For the AgLX complexes, when X = BF 4 and R = phenyl or p-tolyl, chiral chains with alternating Ag and L are formed. The chains are cross-linked by the counteranions in a three-dimensional fashion through hydrogen bonds and weak Ag...F interactions giving rise to a structure with solvent-filled channels. Different and more compact structures have been found when the counteranion is CF 3SO 3 (OTf). When R = phenyl, sheets are formed which consist of [Ag 2(OTf) 2L 2] units with double triflate bridges and which contain columns of pi-pi stacked arenes. Hydrogen bonds connect the sheets. When AgOTf is used and R is p-tolyl, a different and unusual ladderlike structure is obtained in which the rungs are double asymmetric bridges consisting of the triflate groups bonded to Ag in kappa (2) O,mu 2- O and kappa (1) O,mu 2- O fashion. The ladders are parallel to each other and are mutually linked by N-H...N hydrogen bonds to give a 3D architecture. A very similar ladderlike structure has been found for 7 but with a water molecule and a BF 4 (-) group acting as bridges. The role played by the hydrogen bonds in complex 6 to form the 3-D structure is played in 7 by [Ag(acetone) 2] fragments. The noncovalent interactions play an important role in the different solid-state 3D structures. The behavior of the new derivatives in solution has also been analyzed. A new species has been detected at low temperatures, and this exhibits restricted rotation of the phenyl ring.  相似文献

The reactions of 1,4-bis(phenylthio)butane (L) with Ag(I) salts in varied conditions (varying the solvents, metal-to-ligand ratios, and counteranions) lead to the formation of four new two-dimensional (2D) coordination polymers with different network structures: [Ag(2)L(3)(ClO(4))(2)](infinity) 1, [Ag(2)L(3)(ClO(4))(2) x CH(3)OH](infinity) 2, [[AgL(2)](ClO(4))](infinity) 3, and [AgLNO(3)](infinity) 4. All the structures were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystal data for 1: triclinic, P-1, a = 11.0253(9) A, b = 11.3455(9) A, c = 11.5231(9) A, alpha = 93.931(2) degrees, beta = 92.689(2) degrees, gamma = 112.9810(10) degrees, Z = 2. 2: triclinic, P-1, a = 11.9147(13) A, b = 16.1534(17) A, c = 16.2259(17) A, alpha = 74.977(2) degrees, beta = 69.030(2) degrees, gamma = 69.986(2) degrees, Z = 2. 3: triclinic, P-1, a = 12.1617(9) A, b = 12.5054(10) A, c = 13.1547(10) A, alpha = 64.3370(10) degrees, beta =85.938 (2) degrees, gamma = 69.3010(10) degrees, Z = 2. 4: monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 5.4032(17) A, b = 16.974(6) A, c = 19.489(6) A, beta = 94.234(6) degrees, Z = 4. In all four complexes, each Ag(I) center has a tetracoordination geometry, and the 2D networks consist of fused large macrometallacyclic ring systems. The "hexagonal" 42-membered rings, Ag(6)L(6), observed in 1 and 2 are nearly identical, which could be considered as unique examples of self-sustaining noninterpenetrated frameworks formed with flexible ligands. The repeating rectangular 28-membered macrometallacycle, Ag(4)L(4), is the basis for the network of 3, in which the perchlorate anions occupy the voids to prevent the ring from collapsing. In 4, columns of the fused rectangular 22-membered rings, Ag(4)L(2)(NO(3))(2), are cross-linked through the L ligands to form a unique 2D network consisting of two types of 22-membered repeating units.  相似文献

We report the anion-templated syntheses of a variety of supramolecular assemblies of Co(II). Remarkably in the presence of a weakly coordinating ion such as BF(4) (-), a discrete three-dimensional cage [BF(4) subset(BF(4))(2)Co(2)(L(1))(4)][BF(4)] (2) is formed with three coordinated BF(4) (-) ions, a rare example in supramolecular chemistry (L(1)=di(benzimidazole)-1,4-phenylene). Switching to stronger coordinating ions, such as NO(3) (-) or Cl(-), a one-dimensional coordination polymer [[Co(L(1))(NO(3))(2)](n)] (3) and a metallomacrocycle [Co(2)(L(1))(2)(Cl)(4)] (5) were formed, respectively. These results illustrate the powerful effect of the anion-templating chemistry. Finally the magnetic properties of these assemblies 1 b, 2, 3, and 5 are presented and discussed.  相似文献

As the first examples of homoleptic, sigma-bonded superelectrophilic metal carbonyl cations with tetrafluoroborate [BF(4)](-) as the counter anions three thermally stable salts of the composition [M(CO)(6)][BF(4)](2) (M = Fe, Ru, Os) have been synthesized and extensively characterized by thermochemical, structural, and spectroscopic methods. A common synthetic route, the oxidative carbonylation of either Fe(CO)(5) (XeF(2) as the oxidizer) or M(3)(CO)(12) (M = Ru, Os) (F(2) as the oxidizer) in the conjugate Bronsted-Lewis superacid HF/BF(3), was employed. The thermal behavior of the three salts, studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and gas-phase IR spectroscopy of the decomposition products, has been compared to that of the corresponding [SbF(6)](-) salts. The molecular structures of [M(CO)(6)][BF(4)](2) (M = Fe, Os) were obtained by single-crystal X-ray diffraction at 100 K. X-ray powder diffraction data for [M(CO)(6)][BF(4)](2) (M = Ru, Os) were obtained between 100 and 300 K in intervals of 50 K. All three salts are isostructural and crystallized in the tetragonal space group I4/m (No. 87). As for the corresponding [M(CO)(6)][SbF(6)](2) salts (M = Fe, Ru, Os), similar unit cell parameters and vibrational fundamentals were also found for the three [BF(4)](-) compounds. For the structurally characterized salts [M(CO)(6)][BF(4)](2) (M = Fe, Os), very similar bond parameters for both cations and anions were found. Hence, the invariance of structural and spectroscopic properties of [M(CO)(6)](2+) cations (M = Fe, Ru, Os) extended from the fluoroantimonates [Sb(2)F(11)](-) and [SbF(6)](-) as counteranions also to [BF(4)](-).  相似文献

Homoleptic copper(I) and silver(I) complexes [M(n)(L-L)(2)(n)()](BF(4))(n)() (M = Cu or Ag; L-L = MeECH(2)EMe; E = S, Se or Te) have been prepared and characterized by analysis, FAB mass spectrometry, and IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy ((1)H, (77)Se, (125)Te, (63)Cu and (109)Ag). The single-crystal X-ray structures of [Cu(n)()(MeSeCH(2)SeMe)(2)(n)()](PF(6))(n)() (orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 10.879(7) ?, b = 16.073(7) ?, c = 9.19(1) ?, Z = 4) and [Ag(n)()(MeSeCH(2)SeMe)(2)(n)()](BF(4))(n)() (monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 14.546(9) ?, b = 14.65(1) ?, c = 30.203(9) ?, Z = 4) reveal extended three-dimensional cationic frameworks in the solid state which contain large cylindrical or rectangular channels accommodating the PF(6)(-) or BF(4)(-) counterions. In contrast, a single-crystal X-ray structure of [Cu(n)()(MeSCH(2)SMe)(2)(n)()](PF(6))(n)().nMeNO(2) (orthorhombic, Pbcn, a = 15.506(3) ?, b = 8.934(2) ?, c = 25.859(3) ?, Z = 8) shows tetrahedral Cu(I) ions coordinated to bridging dithioethers forming an cationic ribbon-like arrangement of 8-membered rings. Adjacent rings are linked by the Cu atoms. Variable temperature NMR studies have been used to probe various exchange processes occurring in solution in these systems.  相似文献

The spherical Lindquist type polyoxometalate, Mo(6)O(19)(2)(-), has been used as a noncoordinating anionic template for the construction of novel three-dimensional lanthanide-aromatic monocarboxylate dimer supramolecular networks [Ln(2)(DNBA)(4)(DMF)(8)][Mo(6)O(19)] (Ln = La 1, Ce 2, and Eu 3, DNBA = 3,5-dinitrobenzoate, DMF = dimethylformamide). The title compounds are characterized by elemental analyses, IR, and single-crystal X-ray diffractions. X-ray diffraction experiments reveal that two Ln(III) ions are bridged by four 3,5-dinitrobenzoate anions as asymmetrically bridging ligands, leading to dimeric cores, [Ln(2)(DNBA)(4)(DMF)(8)](2+); [Ln(2)(DNBA)(4)(DMF)(8)](2+) groups are joined together by pi-pi stacking interactions between the aromatic groups to form a two-dimensional grid-like network; the 2-D supramolecular layers are further extended into 3-D supramolecular networks with 1-D box-like channels by hydrogen-bonding interactions, in which hexamolybdate polyanions reside. The compounds represent the first examples of 3-D carboxylate-bridged lanthanide dimer supramolecular "host" networks formed by pi-pi stacking and hydrogen-bonding interactions encapsulating noncoordinating "guest" polyoxoanion species. The fluorescent activity of compound 3 is reported.  相似文献

The complex dications in the cooperative spin-crossover compound [FeL(2)][BF(4)](2) (2,6-di(pyrazol-1-yl)pyridine) pack through pi-pi interactions into a 2-D layered structure (a "terpyridine embrace" motif). The effects of doping the larger ClO(4)(-) ion into this lattice have been investigated. The bulk solids [FeL(2)][ClO(4)](x)[BF(4)](2-x) are isostructural with [FeL(2)][BF(4)](2) when x = 0.30 and 0.98, and isostructural with (structurally distinct) [FeL(2)][ClO(4)](2) when x = 1.89. When x = 1.68, powder samples are a mixture of both phases, but crystalline material adopts purely the ClO(4)(-) structure. Increasing the perchlorate content in the lattice for 0 < or =x< or = 1.68 causes a small decrease in T(1/2) and a narrowing of hysteresis in their spin-crossover, but with no significant reduction in cooperativity. It also leads to more pronounced decreases in DeltaH [by up to 3.2(5) kJ mol(-1)] and DeltaS [by up to 10(2) J mol(-1) K(-1)] for the transition by DSC. Single crystals of formula [FeL(2)][ClO(4)](y)[BF(4)](2-y) (y = 0.44 and 1.13) are isostructural with the pure BF(4)(-) salt. While their molecular structures are indistinguishable, the distances between cations in the lattice increase in the doped materials. Weakening of intermolecular pi-pi interactions between cations is the likely reason for the reduced enthalpy of spin-crossover as x increases. However, the biggest stuctural change is an increase in the spacing between the 2-D layers with increased ClO(4)(-). These results suggest that cooperativity in this material is transmitted within the terpyridine embrace layers.  相似文献

A homologous series of dinuclear compounds with the bridging ligand 2-(2-pyridyl)-1,8-naphthyridine (pynp) has been prepared and characterized by X-ray crystallographic and spectroscopic methods. [Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(pynp)(2)][BF(4)](2) x 3CH(3)CN (1) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 15.134(5) A, b = 14.301(6) A, c = 19.990(6) A, beta = 108.06(2) degrees, V = 4113(3) A(3), and Z = 4. [Ru(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(pynp)(2)][PF(6)](2) x 2CH(3)OH (2) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 14.2228(7) A, b = 20.3204(9) A, c = 14.1022(7) A, beta = 95.144(1) degrees, V = 4059.3(3) A(3), and Z = 4. [Rh(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(pynp)(2)][BF(4)](2) x C(7)H(8) (3) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 13.409(2) A, b = 21.670(3) A, c = 13.726(2) A, beta = 94.865(2) degrees, V = 3973.9(8) A(3), and Z = 4. A minor product, [Rh(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(pynp)(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)][BF(4)][PF(6)] x 2CH(3)CN (4), was isolated from the mother liquor after crystals of 3 had been harvested; this compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group, P1 with a = 12.535(3) A, b = 13.116(3) A, c = 13.785(3) A, alpha = 82.52(3) degrees, beta = 77.70(3) degrees, gamma = 85.76(3) degrees, V = 2193.0(8) A(3), and Z = 2. Compounds 1-3 constitute a convenient series for probing the influence of the electronic configuration on the extent of mixing of the M-M orbitals with the pi system of the pynp ligand. Single point energy calculations performed on 1-3 at the B3LYP level of theory lend insight into the bonding in these compounds and allow for correlations to be made with electronic spectral data. Although purely qualitative in nature, the values for normalized change in orbital energies (NCOE) of the frontier orbitals before and after reduction are in agreement with the observed differences in reduction potentials as determined by cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

The reactions between silver tetrafluoroborate and the ligands 1,2,4,5-C(6)H(2)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](4) (L1, pz = pyrazolyl ring), o-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2) (L2), and m-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2) (L3) yield coordination polymers of the formula (C(6)H(6)(-)(n)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](n)(AgBF4)(m))( infinity ) (n = 4, m = 2, 1; n = 2, ortho substitution, m = 1, 2; meta substitution, m = 2, 3). In the solid state, L2 molecules dimerize by a pair of C-H.pi interactions, forming an arrangement that resembles the tetratopic ligand L1. In the solid-state structure of 1, each silver atom is kappa(2)-bonded to two tris(pyrazolyl)methane units from different ligands with the overall structure a polymer made up from 32-atom macrocyclic rings formed by bonding tris(pyrazolyl)methane groups from nonadjacent positions on the central arene rings to the same two silver atoms. In 2, each silver is bonded to two tris(pyrazolyl)methane units in the same kappa(2)-kappa(2) fashion as with 1, forming a polymer chain. The chains are organized into dimeric units by strong face-to-face pi-pi stacking between the central arene rings making bitopic L2 act as half of tetratopic L1. The chains in both structures are organized by weak C-H.F hydrogen bonds and pi-pi stacking interactions into very similar 3D supramolecular architectures. The structure of 3 contains three types of silvers with the overall 3D supramolecular sinusoidal structure comprised of 32-atom macrocycles. Infrared studies confirm the importance of the noncovalent interactions. Calculations at the DFT (B3LYP/6-31G) level of theory have been carried out on L2 and also support C-H.pi interactions. Electrospray mass spectral data collected from acetone or acetonitrile show the presence of aggregated species such as [(L)Ag(2)(BF(4))](+) and [(L)Ag(2)](2+), despite the fact that (1)H NMR spectra of all compounds show that acetonitrile completely displaces the ligand whereas acetone does not.  相似文献

Reactions of 3,4-dimethyl-3',4'-bis(diphenylphosphino)tetrathiafulvalene, o-P2, with [BF(4)](-) salts of Fe(ii), Co(ii), Ni(II), Pd(II), and Pt(II) yield complexes of general formula [M(o-P2)(2)][BF(4)](2). Similar reactions between o-P2 and AgSbF(6) or AgPF(6) produced the salts [Ag(o-P2)(2)][X] where X = [SbF(6)](-) or [PF(6)](-). The resulting compounds were fully characterized by (1)H and (31)P{(1)H} NMR, infrared and electronic absorption spectroscopies, cyclic voltammetry, FAB-MS and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The paramagnetic Co(II) compound exhibits an S = 3/2 state with large spin-orbit coupling contribution at higher temperatures and an effective S' = 1/2 state below 20 K. Electrochemical studies of the compounds indicate that the two functionalized TTF ligands are not in electronic communication and that they essentially behave as isolated redox centers.  相似文献

Treating a thf (thf = tetrahydrofuran) suspension of Cd(acac)(2) (acac = acetylacetonate) with 2 equiv of HBF(4).Et(2)O results in the immediate formation of [Cd(2)(thf)(5)](BF(4))(4) (1). Crystallization of this complex from thf/CH(2)Cl(2) yields [Cd(thf)(4)](BF(4))(2) (2), a complex characterized in the solid state by X-ray crystallography. Crystal data: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 7.784(2) ?, b = 10.408(2) ?, c = 14.632(7) ?, beta = 94.64(3) degrees, V = 1181.5(6) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.0484. The geometry about the cadmium is octahedral with a square planar arrangement of the thf ligands and a fluorine from each (BF(4))(-) occupying the remaining two octahedral sites. Reactions of [Cd(2)(thf)(5)](BF(4))(4) with either HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3) or HC(3-Phpz)(3) yield the dicationic, homoleptic compounds {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)](2)Cd}(BF(4))(2) (3) and {[HC(3-Phpz)(3)](2)Cd}(BF(4))(2) (4) (pz = 1-pyrazolyl). The solid state structure of 3 has been determined by X-ray crystallography. Crystal data: rhombohedral, R&thremacr;, a = 12.236(8) ?, c = 22.69(3) ?, V = 2924(4) ?(3), Z = 3, R = 0.0548. The cadmium is bonded to the six nitrogen donor atoms in a trigonally distorted octahedral arrangement. Four monocationic, mixed ligand tris(pyrazolyl)methane-tris(pyrazolyl)borate complexes {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)][HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)]Cd}(BF(4)) (5), {[HC(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)][HB(3-Phpz)(3)]Cd}(BF(4)) (6), {[HC(3-Phpz)(3)][HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)]Cd}(BF(4)) (7), and {[HC(3-Phpz)(3)][HB(3-Phpz)(3)]Cd}(BF(4)) (8) are prepared by appropriate conproportionation reactions of 3or 4 with equimolar amounts of the appropriate homoleptic neutral tris(pyrazolyl)borate complexes [HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)](2)Cd or [HB(3-Phpz)(3)](2)Cd. Solution (113)Cd NMR studies on complexes 3-8 demonstrate that the chemical shifts of the new cationic, tris(pyrazolyl)methane complexes are very similar to the neutral tris(pyrazolyl)borate complexes that contain similar substitution of the pyrazolyl rings.  相似文献

Organocyanamides, Ntbd1;CNR(2) (R = Me or Et), react with trans-[Mo(N(2))(2)(dppe)(2)] (1, dppe = Ph(2)PCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2)), in THF, to give the first mixed molybdenum dinitrogen-cyanamide complexes trans-[Mo(N(2))(NCNR(2))(dppe)(2)] (R = Me 2a or Et 2b) which are selectively protonated at N(2) by HBF(4) to yield the hydrazide(2-) complexes trans-[Mo(NNH(2))(NCNR(2))(dppe)(2)][BF(4)](2) (R = Me, 3a, or Et, 3b). On treatment with Ag[BF(4)], oxidation and metal fluorination occur, and the ligating cyanamide undergoes an unprecedented beta-protonation at the unsaturated C atom to form trans-[MoF(NCHNR(2))(dppe)(2)][BF(4)](2) (R = Me, 4a, or Et, 4b) compounds which present the novel amidoazavinylidene (or amidomethyleneamide) ligands. Complexes 4 are also formed from the corresponding compounds 3, with liberation of ammonia and hydrazine. The crystal structure of 2b was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis which indicates that the N atom of the amide group has a trigonal planar geometry.  相似文献

A series of new heterometallic coordination polymers has been prepared from the reaction of metal-ligand cations and KAg(CN)(2) units. Many of these contain silver-silver (argentophilic) interactions, analogous to gold-gold interactions, which serve to increase supramolecular structural dimensionality. Compared to [Au(CN)(2)](-) analogues, these polymers display new trends specific to [Ag(CN)(2)](-), including the formation of [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) and the presence of Ag...N interactions. [Cu(en)(2)][Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (1, en = ethylenediamine) forms 1-D chains of alternating [Ag(CN)(2)](-) and [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) units via argentophilic interactions of 3.102(1) A. These chains are connected into a 2-D array by strong cyano(N)-Ag interactions of 2.572(3) A. [Cu(dien)Ag(CN)(2)](2)[Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (2, dien = diethylenetriamine) forms a 1-D chain of alternating [Cu(dien)](2+) and [Ag(CN)(2)](-) ions with the Cu(II) atoms connected in an apical/equatorial fashion. These chains are cross-linked by [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) units via argentophilic interactions of 3.1718(8) A and held weakly in a 3-D array by argentophilic interactions of 3.2889(5) A between the [Ag(CN)(2)](-) in the 2-D array and the remaining free [Ag(CN)(2)](-). [Ni(en)][Ni(CN)(4)].2.5H(2)O (4) was identified as a byproduct in the reaction to prepare the previously reported [Ni(en)(2)Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (3). In [Ni(tren)Ag(CN)(2)][Ag(CN)(2)] (5, tren = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine), [Ni(tren)](2+) cations are linked in a cis fashion by [Ag(CN)(2)](-) anions to form a 1-D chain similar to the [Au(CN)(2)](-) analogue. [Cu(en)Cu(CN)(2)Ag(CN)(2)] (6) is a trimetallic polymer consisting of interpenetrating (6,3) nets stabilized by d(10)-d(10) interactions between Cu(I)-Ag(I) (3.1000(4) A). Weak antiferromagnetic coupling has been observed in 2, and a slightly stronger exchange has been observed in 6. The Ni(II) complexes, 4 and 5, display weak antiferromagnetic interactions as indicated by their relatively larger D values compared to that of 3. Magnetic measurements on isostructural [Ni(tren)M(CN)(2)][M(CN)(2)] (M = Ag, Au) show that Ag(I) is a more efficient mediator of magnetic exchange as compared to Au(I). The formation of [Ni(CN)(4)](2)(-), [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-), and [Cu(CN)(2)](-) are all attributed to secondary reactions of the dissociation products of the labile KAg(CN)(2).  相似文献
