Transport properties and non-stoichiometry of La1−xCaxW1/6O2 and La1−yW1/6O2 (x=0, 0.005, 0.05; y=0.05, 0.1) have been characterized by means of impedance spectroscopy, the EMF-technique, H+/D+ isotope exchange, and thermogravimetry in the temperature range 300-1200 °C as a function of oxygen partial pressure and water vapor partial pressure. The materials exhibit mixed ionic and electronic conductivities; n- and p-type electronic conduction predominate at high temperatures under reducing and oxidizing conditions, respectively. Protons are the major ionic charge carrier under wet conditions and predominates the conductivity below ∼750 °C. The maximum in proton conductivity is observed for LaW1/6O2 with values reaching 3×10−3 S/cm at approximately 800 °C. The high proton conductivity for the undoped material is explained by assuming interaction between water vapor and intrinsic (anti-Frenkel) oxygen vacancies.  相似文献

Li0.5−x/2CuxFe2.5−x/2O4 (where x=0.0-1.0) ferrites have been prepared by solid-state reaction. X-ray diffraction was used to study the structure of the above investigated ferrites at various sintering temperatures. Samples were sintered at 1000, 1100 and 1200 °C for 3 h in the atmosphere. For the sintering temperature of 1000 °C, Li0.5−x/2CuxFe2.5−x/2O4 undergoes cubic to tetragonal transformation for higher Cu content. However, for the sintering temperature of 1100 and 1200 °C, X-ray diffraction patterns are mainly characterized by fcc structure, though presence of tetragonal distortion was found by other temperature dependence of initial permeability curves. The lattice parameter, X-ray density and bulk density were calculated for different compositions. Curie temperature was measured from the temperature dependence of initial permeability curves. Curie temperatures of Li-Cu mixed ferrites were found to decrease with the increase in Cu2+ content due to the reduction of A-B interaction. As mentioned earlier, temperature dependence of initial permeability curves was characterized by tetragonal deformation for the samples containing higher at% of Cu. The complex initial permeability has been studied for different samples. The B-H loops were measured at constant frequency, f=1200 Hz, at room temperature (298 K). Coercivity and hysteresis loss were estimated for different Cu contents.  相似文献

Yttrium-doped strontium titanate (YxSr1−xTiO3), as probable anode material for SOFC, was prepared by solid-state reaction. The solubility of yttrium in SrTiO3 at different temperatures was examined and the electrical conductivities of YxSr1−xTiO3 were measured from 500 to 1000 °C. The effects of doping amount, fabrication atmosphere, and sintering temperature on the electrical conductivity of YxSr1−xTiO3 were investigated. YxSr1−xTiO3 with x=0.08 was found to give the maximum electrical conductivity, 71 S/cm at 800 °C in pure hydrogen. Reducing atmospheres and appropriate sintering temperatures play a positive role in improving the electrical conductivity.  相似文献

Structural, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of tungsten (W) substituted SrBi2(Ta1−xWx)2O9 (SBTW) [x=0.0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1 and 0.2] have been studied as a function of sintering temperature (1100-1250 °C). X-ray diffraction patterns confirm the single-phase layered perovskite structure formation up to x=0.05 at all sintering temperatures. The present study reveals an optimum sintering temperature of 1200 °C for the best properties of SBTW samples. Maximum Tc of ∼390 °C is observed for x=0.20 sample sintered at 1200 °C. Peak-dielectric constant (εr) increases from ∼270 to ∼700 on increasing x from 0.0 to 0.20 at 1200 °C sintering temperature. DC conductivity of the SBTW samples is nearly two to three orders lower than that of the pristine sample. Remnant polarization (Pr) increases with the W content up to x≤0.075. A maximum 2Pr (∼25 μC/cm2) is obtained with x=0.075 sample sintered at 1200 °C. The observed behavior is explained in terms of improved microstructural features, contribution from the oxygen and cationic vacancies in SBTW. Such tungsten substituted samples sintered at 1200 °C exhibiting enhanced dielectric and ferroelectric properties should be useful for memory applications.  相似文献

Y-type polycrystalline hexagonal ferrites Ba2Co2−xyZnxCuyFe12O22 with 0≤x≤2 and 0≤y≤0.8 were prepared by the mixed-oxide route. Single phase Y-type ferrite powders were obtained after calcinations at 1000 °C. Samples sintered at 1200 °C show a permeability that increases with the substitution of Zn for Co and display maximum permeability of μ′=35 at 1 MHz for x=1.6 and y=0.4. A resonance frequency fr=500 MHz is observed for Zn-rich ferrites with y=0 and 0.4. The saturation magnetization increases with substitution of Zn for Co. Addition of Bi2O3 shifts the temperature of maximum shrinkage down to T≤950 °C. Moreover, an increase of the Cu-concentration further lowers the sintering temperature to T≤900 °C, enabling co-firing of the ferrites with Ag metallization for multilayer technologies. However, low-temperature firing reduces the permeability to μ′=10 and the resonance frequency is shifted to 1 GHz. Thus substituted hexagonal Y-type ferrites can be used as soft magnetic materials for multilayer inductors for high frequency applications.  相似文献

Lithium ion conducting solid-state composites consisting of lithium ion conducting ionic liquid, lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide (Li-TFSA) dissolved 1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)amide (EMI-TFSA), denoted by [yMLi+][EMI+][TFSA] in this study, and various oxide particles such as SiO2, Al2O3, TiO2 (anatase and rutile) and 3YSZ are synthesized via a liquid route for the molar concentration of lithium, y, to be 1. The composite consists of SiO2 and the ionic liquid with y = 0.2 was also prepared. The ionic liquid are quasi-solidified at the above oxide particle surfaces when x is below 40 for y = 1 and x is below 30 for y = 0.2, corresponding to the confinable thickness of the ionic liquid at the oxides' surfaces to be approximately 5-10 nm regardless of the oxide compositions. The electrical conductivities of x vol.%[yMLi+][EMI+][TFSA-]-SiO2, Al2O3, TiO2s or 3YSZ composites are evaluated by ac impedance measurements. The quasi-solid-state composites exhibited liquid-like high apparent conductivity, e.g. 10− 3.3-10− 2.0 S cm− 1 in the temperature range of 323-538 K for SiO2-ionic liquid composites with y = 1. The self-diffusion coefficients of the constituent species of x vol.% [yMLi+][EMI+][TFSA] (x is below 40, y = 0.2 and 1) − SiO2 are evaluated by the Pulse Gradient Spin Echo (PGSE)-NMR technique in the temperature range of 298-348 K. By the quasi-solidification of the ionic liquid at SiO2 particle surfaces, the absolute values of the diffusion coefficients of all constituent species decreased. The SiO2 surfaces work to promote ionization of ion pair, [EMI+][TFSA], while significant influence on the solvation coordination, [Li(TFSA)n + 1]n, was not observed. The apparent transport numbers of Li-containing species both in the bulk and the quasi-solidified ionic liquid showed similar values with each other, which was evaluated to be in the range of 0.010-0.017 for y = 0.2 and 0.051-0.093 for y = 1 in the abovementioned temperature range.  相似文献

La1−xAgxMnO3 samples were synthesized by standard sol-gel method with Ag concentrations of x=0.05 and 0.25. The samples from each concentration were pressed and sintered at 1000, 1200 and 1400 °C for 24 h in air for a systematic study. They were examined structurally by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and magnetically by Magnetic Properties Measurements System (MPMS). AFM and SEM analyses show that surface morphology changes with Ag concentration and sintering temperature (TS). It was observed that high temperature sintering leads Ag to leave material as determined from EDS analyses. XRD spectra exhibited that the crystal structure changes with Ag concentration while showing pronounced change with the sintering temperature. From the magnetic measurements, the Curie temperatures (TC) and the isothermal magnetic entropy changes (−ΔSM) were calculated. It was observed that TC increases with Ag concentration and decreases with TS. The maximum −ΔSM was calculated to be 7.2 J/kg K under the field change of 5 T for the sample sintered at 1000 °C with x=0.25.  相似文献

Six types of BiFeO3 ceramic samples, with subtle differences in synthesis conditions, were prepared. The comparison of their phases, electrical resistivity, and porosity revealed that the use of Bi2O3 and Fe2O3 powders of <1 μm size and a rapid liquid-phase sintering process of 855 °C for 5 min at 100 °C/s is beneficial to synthesize poreless single-phase BiFeO3 samples with high electrical resistivity of ∼5×1012 Ω cm. Deoxygenated BixFeyO1.5x+1.5yδ (xy, δ≥0) impurities were identified and found to be the main cause of low electrical resistivity and high porosity in the multi-phase samples. Large saturation polarization of 16.6 μC/cm2 and low leakage current density of 30 mA/m2, both at a high electric field of 145 kV/cm, were measured in the optimized single-phase samples at room temperature besides a large piezoelectric d33 coefficient of 27 pC/N and an obvious canted antiferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

Preparation of LaNi1 − xFexO3, which is one of the candidate materials of solid oxide fuel cell cathode, current collecting layer and interconnect coating was examined with Pechini method and solid state reaction method. Single phase LaNi1 − xFexO3 with large Ni content has successfully been prepared by low temperature sintering as 750 °C with Pechini method, whereas large amount of raw materials has remained with solid state reaction method by sintering at the same temperature. It can be ascribed to more homogenous cation distribution in raw powder material prior to sintering with Pechini method. It has also been revealed that LaNi1 − xFexO3 with x lower than 0.3 is thermodynamically unstable in air above 1000 °C. LaNi0.6Fe0.4O3 showed superior property as cathode material with high electrical conductivity, thermodynamic stability and appropriate sintering property.  相似文献

Mixed manganese-zinc and nickel-zinc ferrites of composition Mn0.2Ni0.8−xZnxFe2O4 where x=0.4x=0.4, 0.5 and 0.6 have been synthesized by the citrate precursor technique. Decomposition of the precursor at temperatures as low as 500 °C gives the ferrite powder. The ferrites have been investigated for their electrical and magnetic properties such as saturation magnetization, initial permeability, Curie temperature, AC-resistivity and dielectric constant as a function of sintering temperature and zinc content. Structural properties such as lattice parameter, grain size and density are also studied. The mixed compositions exhibited higher saturation magnetizations at sintering temperatures as low as 1200 °C. While the Curie temperature decreased with zinc content, the permeability was found to increase. The AC-resistivity ranged from 105–107 Ω cm and decreased with zinc content and sintering temperature. The dielectric constants were lower than those normally reported for the Mn–Zn ferrites. Samples sintered at 1400 °C densified to about 94% of the theoretical density and the grain size was of the order of about 1.5 μm for the samples sintered at 1200 °C and increased subsequently with sintering temperature.  相似文献

Phase relationships, thermal expansion and electrical properties of Mg1 − xFexO (x = 0.1-0.45) cubic solid solutions and Fe3 − x − yMgxCryO4 ± δ (x = 0.7-0.95; y = 0 or 0.5) spinels were studied at 300-1770 K in the oxygen partial pressure range from 10 Pa to 21 kPa. Increasing iron content enlarges the spinel phase stability domain at reduced oxygen pressures and elevated temperatures. The total conductivity of the spinel ceramics is predominantly n-type electronic and is essentially p(O2)-independent within the stability domain. The computer simulations using molecular dynamics technique confirmed that overall level of ion diffusion remains low even at high temperatures close to the melting point. Temperature dependencies of the total conductivity in air exhibit a complex behavior associated with changing the dominant defect-chemistry mechanism from prevailing formation of the interstitial cations above 1370-1470 K to the generation of cation vacancies at lower temperatures, and with kinetically frozen cation redistribution in spinel lattice below 700-800 K. The average thermal expansion coefficients of the spinel ceramics calculated from dilatometric data in air vary in the range (9.6-10.0) × 10− 6 K− 1 at 300-500 K and (13.2-16.1) × 10− 6 K− 1 at 1050-1370 K. Mg1 − xFexO solid solutions undergo partial decomposition on heating under oxidizing and mildly reducing conditions, resulting in the segregation of spinel phase and conductivity decrease.  相似文献

Solution Growth Technique (SGT) has been used for deposition of Zn1−xCdS nanocrystalline thin films. Various parameters such as solution pH (10.4), deposition time, concentration of ions, composition and deposition and annealing temperatures have been optimized for the development of device grade thin film. In order to achieve uniformity and adhesiveness of thin film on glass substrate, 5 ml triethanolamine (TEA) have been added in deposition solution. The as-deposited films have been annealed in Rapid Thermal Annealing (RTA) system at various temperature ranges from 100 to 500 °C in air. The changes in structural formation and optical transport phenomena have been studied with annealing temperatures and composition value (x). As-deposited films have two phases of ZnS and CdS, which were confirmed by X-ray diffraction studies; further the X-ray analysis of annealed (380 °C) films indicates that the films have nanocrystalline size (150 nm) and crystal structure depends on the films stoichiometry and annealing temperatures. The Zn0.4CdS films annealed at 380 °C in air for 5 min have hexagonal structure where as films annealed at 500 °C have represented the oxide phase with hexagonal structure. Optical properties of the films were studied in the wavelength range 350-1000 nm. The optical band gap (Eg=2.94-2.30 eV) decreases with the composition (x) value. The effect of air rapid annealing on the photoresponse has also been observed on Zn1−xCdS nanocrystal thin films. The Zn1−xCdS thin film has higher photosensitivity at higher annealing temperatures (380-500 °C), and films also have mixed Zn1−xCdS/Zn1−xCdSO phase with larger grain size than the as-deposited and films annealed up to 380 °C. The present results are well agreed with the results of other studies.  相似文献

This paper investigates the structure and surface characteristics, and electrical properties of the polycrystalline silicon-germanium (poly-Si1−xGex) alloy thin films, deposited by vertical reduced pressure CVD (RPCVD) in the temperature range between 500 and 750 °C and a total pressure of 5 or 10 Torr. The samples exhibited a very uniform good quality films formation, with smooth surface with rms roughness as low as 7 nm for all temperature range, Ge mole fraction up to 32% (at 600 °C), textures of 〈2 2 0〉 preferred orientation at lower temperatures and strong 〈1 1 1〉 at 750 °C, for both 5 and 10 Torr deposition pressures. The 31P+ and 11B+ doped poly-Si1−xGex films exhibited always lower electrical resistivity values in comparison to similar poly-Si films, regardless of the employed anneal temperature or implantat dose. The results indicated also that poly-Si1−xGex films require much lower temperature and ion implant dose than poly-Si to achieve the same film resistivity. These characteristics indicate a high quality of obtained poly-Si1−xGex films, suitable as a gate electrode material for submicron CMOS devices.  相似文献

A series of iron- and/or aluminium-doped apatite-type lanthanum silicates (ATLS) La9.83Si6 ‐ x ‐ yAlxFeyO26 ± δ (x = 0, 0.25, 0.75, and 1.5, y = 0, 0.25, 0.75, and 1.5) were synthesized using the mechanochemical activation (MA), solid state reaction (SSR), Pechini (Pe) and sol-gel (SG) methods. The total conductivity of the prepared materials was measured under air in the temperature range 600-850 °C using 4-probe AC impedance spectroscopy. Its dependence on composition, synthesis method, sintering conditions and powder particle size was investigated. It was found that for electrolytes of the same composition, those prepared via mechanochemical activation exhibited the highest total specific conductivity, which was improved with increasing Al- and decreasing Fe-content. The highest conductivity value at 700 °C, equal to 2.04 × 10− 2 S cm− 1, was observed for the La9.83Si5Al0.75Fe0.25O26 ± δ electrolyte. La9.83Si4.5Fe1.5O26 ± δ electrolyte samples synthesized using the Pechini method exhibited higher conductivity when sintered conventionally than when spark-plasma sintering (SPS) was used.  相似文献

The effect of ZnO on phase emergence and microstructure properties of glass and glass-ceramics with composition 25SiO2-50CaO-15P2O5-(10 − x)Fe2O3-xZnO (where x = 0, 2, 5, 7 mol%) has been studied. They have been characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Surface modifications of these glass-ceramics in simulated body fluid have been studied using Fourier transform infrared reflection spectroscopy (FTIR), XPS and SEM. Results have shown a decrease in the fraction of non-bridging oxygen with increase in zinc oxide content. Emergence of crystalline phases in glass-ceramics at different heat treatment temperatures was studied using XRD. When glass is heat treated at 800 °C calcium phosphate, hematite and magnetite are developed as major phases in the glass-ceramics samples with ZnO up to 5 mol%. In addition to these, calcium silicate (Ca3Si2O7) phase is also observed when glass is heat treated at 1000 °C. The microstructure of the glass-ceramics heat treated at 800 °C exhibits the formation of nano-size (40-50 nm) grains. On heat treatment at 1000 °C crystallites grow to above 50 nm size and more than one phase are observed in the microstructure. The formation of thin flake-like structure with coarse particles is observed at high zinc oxide concentration (x = 7 mol%). In vitro studies have shown the surface modifications and formation of Ca-P-rich layer on the glass-ceramics when immersed in simulated body fluids (SBF) for different durations. The bioactive response was found to depend on ZnO content.  相似文献

The Ce6−xYxMoO15−δ solid solution with fluorite-related structure have been characterized by differential thermal analysis/thermogravimetry (DTA/TG), X-ray diffraction (XRD), IR, Raman, scanning electric microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) methods. The electric conductivity of samples is investigated by Ac impedance spectroscopy. An essentially pure oxide-ion conductivity of the oxygen-deficiency was observed in pure argon, oxygen and air. The highest oxygen-ion conductivity was found in Ce5.5Y0.5MoO15−δ ranging from 5.9×10−5 (S cm−1) at 300 °C to 1.3×10−2 (S cm−1) at 650 °C, respectively. The oxide-ion conductivities remained stable over 80 h-long test at 800 °C. These properties suggested that significant oxide-ionic conductivity exists in these materials at moderately elevated temperatures.  相似文献

The compositional and thermal dependencies of phase and electrical behaviour of compositions in the system Bi14W1 − xLaxO24 − 3x/2 (0.00 < x < 1.00) have been studied by X-ray powder diffraction, differential thermal analysis and a.c. impedance spectroscopy. The system exhibits polymorphism and phase separation, which shows both compositional and thermal dependence. Compositions with x = 0.25 and x = 0.50 exhibit a single phase tetragonal structure at room temperature. In contrast, the x = 0.75 composition at room temperature shows a mixture of a cubic phase and a secondary β-Bi2O3 related tetragonal phase. A full solid solution is observed at high temperatures, corresponding to the occurrence of a δ-Bi2O3 type phase. The appearance of the various phases correlates well with the observed electrical behaviour. The x = 0.75 composition exhibits exceptionally high conductivity at high temperatures (σ800 = 1.34 S cm− 1), but also shows significant phase separation at lower temperatures.  相似文献

Structure and electrical conductivity of Bi14WO24 as a function of temperature have been examined by X-ray and neutron powder diffraction, a.c. impedance spectroscopy and differential thermal analysis. The room temperature structure was successfully refined using a monoclinic subcell model in space group I2/m. However, additional reflections in the neutron data are consistent with a large supercell of dimensions a = 17.3780(1) Å, b = 17.3891(1) Å, c = 26.1785(2) Å and β = 90.270(1)°, as previously proposed. Transitions to tetragonal and cubic phases are observed at ca. 35 °C and 780 °C, respectively. The structure of the high temperature polymorph is confirmed as a fully disordered δ-Bi2O3 type phase. Analysis of the defect structure is consistent with a predominantly tetrahedral environment for tungsten, as seen at low temperatures. The conductivity behaviour is correlated with the appearance of the δ-phase at high temperatures and exhibits a value of 0.97 S cm− 1 at 800 °C.  相似文献

The effect of post sintering annealing on the dielectric response of (Pb1−xBax)(Yb0.5Ta0.5)O3 ceramics in the diffuse phase transition range (x=0.2) has been investigated. The samples are prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method. The samples are sintered at 1300 °C for 2 h and annealed at different temperatures (800, 900 and 1000 °C) for 8 h and at 800 °C for different time durations (8, 12 and 24 h). A significant change in the dielectric response has been observed in all the samples. The dielectric constant increases remarkably and the dielectric loss tangent decreases. The dielectric peaks of the annealed samples are observed to be more diffused with noticeable frequency dispersion compared to the as sintered sample.  相似文献

This study describes an attempt to produce NdFeB magnets that are insensitive to the sintering temperature. It was found that addition of Zr to NdFeB magnets significantly augmented the thermal stability of this magnetic material during sintering at high temperature even at industrial scale. The best sintered magnets were produced by jet-milling the powder (to achieve an average 3.4 μm particle size), and then aligned, pressed and sintered under argon at 1100 °C for 3 h followed by appropriate heat treatment. The magnetic properties of the resulting magnets were: (BH)m=403.8 kJ m−3 (±4.7 kJ m−3), Br=1430 mT (±9 mT) and iHc=907 kA m−1 (±12 kA m−1). Large grain growth, in excess of 100 μm in the Zr-free magnets, was observed during sintering at 1100 °C. This did not occur in the presence of Zr. These observations imply that the sensitivity of this class of magnets to high sintering temperatures is greatly reduced by Zr addition. Corrosion resistance of NdFeB was therefore significantly improved by the addition of small amounts of Zr.  相似文献
