Instead of a continuous system driven by Gaussian white noise, logical stochastic resonance will be investigated in a nonlinear bistable system with two thresholds driven by dichotomous noise, which shows a phenomenon different from Gaussian white noise. We can realize two parallel logical operations by simply adjusting the values of these two thresholds. Besides, to quantify the reliability of obtaining the correct logic output, we numerically calculate the success probability, and effects of dichotomous noise on the success probability are observed, these observations show that the reliability of realizing logical operation in the bistable system can be improved through optimizing parameters of dichotomous noise. 相似文献

This paper attempts to investigate the stochastic resonance (SR) behaviors in two kinds of asymmetric nonlinear systems with time-delayed feedback driven by additive colored noise by virtue of two-state theory, small time delay approximation, path integral approach, and unified colored-noise approximation, where asymmetric nonlinear systems include asymmetric well depth and asymmetric well width alone. The characteristics of SR in two kinds of asymmetric systems are different for different asymmetric ratios and correlated times of additive colored noise. For asymmetric well width, optimal noise intensity is independent of asymmetric ratio and correlated time, whereas for asymmetric well depth it is closely related with asymmetric ratio and correlated time. However, optimal noise intensity is closely related with feedback intensity, and time-delay for two kinds of asymmetries. Even there exists the optimal feedback intensity, time delay and correlated time to make output SNR maximum. Above clues are helpful to achieve weak signal detection under strong background noise. 相似文献

We examine the possibility of obtaining Set–Reset latch logical operation in a symmetric bistable system subjected to OU noise. Three major results are presented. First, we prove the Set–Reset latch logical operation can be obtained driven by OU noise. Second, while increasing the correlation time, the optimal noise band shifts to higher level and becomes wider. Meanwhile, peak performance degrades from 100% accuracy, but the system can still perform reliable logical operation. Third, at fixed noise intensity, the success probability evolves non-monotonically as correlation time increases. The study might provide development of the new paradigm of memory device. 相似文献

Intermittent nystagmus is a special kind of nystagmus with an irregular attack time. Its pathogenesis remains unclear. Recently, nonlinear dynamic methods used to explore the mechanisms responsible for intermittent nystagmus have received increased attention. The current study examines the dynamic properties of the bistable horizontal saccadic oculomotor system driven by colored noise. The most probable amplitude, stationary probability density of response, and signal-to-noise ratio curves with different parameters are obtained through stochastic numerical simulation. Then, the stochastic P bifurcation and coherent resonance phenomenon of the saccadic oculomotor system are analyzed. Results indicate that inhibition strength, noise intensity, or correlation time could induce stochastic P bifurcation, which may explain the development of intermittent nystagmus. Further, it is found that intermittent nystagmus can be suppressed by increasing inhibition strength, and that correlation time and noise intensity can lead to coherence resonance. 相似文献

Coupling-induced logical stochastic resonance(LSR) can be observed in a noise-driven coupled bistable system where the behaviors of system can be interpreted consistently as a specific logic gate in an appropriate noise level. Here constant coupling is extended to time-varying coupling, and then we investigate the effect of time-varying coupling on LSR in a periodically driven coupled bistable system. When coupling intensity oscillates periodically with the same frequency with periodic force or relatively high frequency, the system successfully yields the desired logic output. When coupling intensity oscillates irregularly with phase disturbance, large phase disturbance reduces the area of optimal parameter region of coupling intensity and response speed of logic devices. Although the system behaves as a desired logic gate when the frequency of time-periodic coupling intensity is precisely equal to that of periodic force, the desired logic gate is not robust against tiny frequency difference and phase disturbance. Therefore, periodic coupling intensity with high frequency ratio is an optimal option to obtain a reliable and robust logic operation. 相似文献

We examine the possibility of obtaining logic operation in a quartic-bistable system with linear time-delayed feedback subjected to Gaussian noise. The effect of time-delayed feedback on the effective potential well is investigated, and explicit numerical stimulation is conducted to study the influence of delay time and strength of the time-delayed feedback on the responses of the system. Although the response deteriorates slightly at low values of noise intensity with time-delayed feedback and the peak correct probability decreases from 100% when the delay time is too long, the reliability of obtaining the desired logic output is enhanced in the higher noise boundary with the help of moderate time-delayed feedback. We also found that increasing the linear factor of the system can shift the optimal noise intensity to a higher level. 相似文献

采用色抽运噪声和实虚部间关联的量子噪声驱动的单模激光损失模型,运用线性化近似方法计算了周期性信号加性输入时激光系统的输出光强信噪比,发现用信噪比与量子噪声实虚部间关联系数的关系曲线描述的随机共振现象.在抽运噪声自关联为短时关联情况下,当信号振幅增大和频率增快、抽运噪声色关联时间增大时,系统的随机共振加强;而噪声强度的增加会削弱系统的随机共振.在抽运噪声自关联为长时关联情况下,当信号振幅增大和量子噪声强度减弱时,系统的随机共振加强;而信号频率、抽运噪声强度、抽运噪声色关联时间的变化对系统随机共振的影响很小. 相似文献

A systematic method for obtaining the asymptotic behavior of a dynamical system forced by colored noise in the limit of small intensity is developed. It is based on the search of WKB solutions to the Fokker-Planck equation for the joint probability density of the system and noise, in which the perturbation expansion is continued to the first correction beyond the Hamilton-Jacobi limit. The method can be applied to noise with correlation time of order unity. It is illustrated on the normal form of a pitchfork bifurcation, where it is pointed out that additive noise can induce a shift of the most probable value. This prediction is confirmed by numerical simulation of the stochastic differential equations. 相似文献

We studied the motion of an underdamped Brownian particle in a periodic potential subject to a harmonic excitation and a colored noise. The average input energy per period and the phase lag are calculated to quantify the phenomenon of stochastic resonance (SR). The numerical results show that most of the out-of-phase trajectories make a transition to the in-phase state as the temperature increases. And the colored noise delays the transitions between these two dynamical states. The each curve of the average input energy per period and the phase lag versus the temperature exist a mono peak and SR appears in this system. Moreover, the optimal temperature where the SR occurs becomes larger and the region of SR grows wider as the correlation time of colored noise increases. 相似文献

Schmitt trigger is a comparator circuit with hysteresis, implemented by applying positive feedback to a noninverting input. Recently, it has been verified that noise under certain condition can help nonlinear circuit to realize reliable logical stochastic resonance (LSR). In this letter, we demonstrate that, without any modifications, Schmitt trigger can operate flexibly both as logic operation and latch operation in an optimal noise range. In traditional Schmitt trigger, the hysteresis is designed for resisting noise. In the new design, the hysteresis tends to enhance the LSR effect in Schmitt trigger with the help of noise and helps the system to perform better at higher noise levels. The phenomenon of stochastic resonance (SR) driven by time-delayed feedback in a bistable system with colored noise is investigated. Combining the small time delay and unified colored noise approximation, the Fokker-Planck equation is obtained. The different effects of time delay and noise correlation time on stationary probability density and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) are discussed respectively. It is found that time delay can markedly improve the output SNR. This method can be practically applied to many fields such as weak signal extraction, recovery and so on. Numerical simulations are presented and are in agreement with the approximate theoretical results. 相似文献

The effects of additive correlated noise, which is composed of common Gaussian white noise and local Gaussian colored noise, on a square lattice network locally modelled by the Rulkov map are studied. We focus on the ability of noise to induce pattern formation in a resonant manner. It is shown that local Gaussian colored noise is able to induce pattern formation, which is more coherent at some noise intensity or correlation time, so it is able to induce spatiotemporal coherence resonance in the network. When common Gaussian white noise is applied in addition, it is seen that the correlated noise can induce coherent spatial structures at some intermediate noise correlation, while this is not the case for smaller and larger noise intensities. The mechanism of the observed spatiotemporal coherence resonance is discussed. It is also found that the correlation time of local colored noise has no evident effect on the optimal value of the noise strength for spatiotemporal coherence resonance in the network. 相似文献
