The thermal transformations of disubstituted cesium orthophosphate crystal hydrate under heating in air up to 400°C have been studied. The dehydration process occurs in two stages with the loss of 0.6 water molecules at 60?100°C and 1.4 water molecules at 100?160°C. Anhydrous Cs2HPO4 is stable up to 300°C and is completely converted into cesium pyrophosphate Cs4P2O7 at 330°C. The structure of Cs2HPO4 · 2H2O has been determined. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic space group P21/c and has the unit cell parameters a = 7.4761(5) Å, b = 14.2125(8) Å, c = 7.9603(6) Å, β = 116.914(5)°, V = 754.20(9) Å3, and Z = 4 at?123°C. An earlier unknown polymorph of Cs4P2O7 has been found. According to X-ray powder diffraction data, hexagonal space group Р63 has been proposed for the formed pyrophosphate.  相似文献

Mosquitoes are the most critical group of insects in the context of public health, since they transmit key parasites and pathogens, causing millions of deaths annually. Insecticides from natural products may boost the effectiveness of vector control programs. In this study, we tested silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) fabricated using the leaf extract of the orchid Zeuxine gracilis as reducing agent, and the microbial pesticide Bacillus sphaericus, against the mosquitoes Anopheles stephensi, Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus. The synthesis of AgNP was confirmed analyzing the excitation of surface Plasmon resonance using ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis) spectrophotometry. SEM and TEM showed the irregular shapes of AgNPs. EDX spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and dynamic light scattering analysis were carried out. AgNPs were highly effective against the larvae of An. stephensi (LC50 = 8.48 µg/mL), Ae. aegypti (LC50 = 10.39 µg/mL) and Cx. quinquefasciatus (LC50 = 13.21 µg/mL), respectively. Combined treatments testing B. sphaericus with AgNPs were also effective against An. stephensi (LC50 = 12.32 µg/mL), Ae. aegypti (LC50 = 14.78 µg/mL) and Cx. quinquefasciatus (LC50 = 19.19 µg/mL). Overall, this study suggests that the orchid-synthesized AgNPs can be a rapid, environmentally safer bio-pesticide to be used in synergy with B. sphaericus to control mosquito vectors.  相似文献

Background

The emergence of bacterial resistance is a major public health problem. It is essential to develop and synthesize new therapeutic agents with better activity. The mode of actions of certain newly developed antimicrobial agents, however, exhibited very limited effect in treating life threatening systemic infections. Therefore, the advancement of multi-potent and efficient antimicrobial agents is crucial to overcome the increased multi-drug resistance of bacteria and fungi. Cancer, which remains as one of the primary causes of deaths and is commonly treated by chemotherapeutic agents, is also in need of novel and efficacious agents to treat resistant cases. As such, a sequence of novel substituted benzamides was designed, synthesized and evaluated for their antimicrobial and anticancer activities.

Methodology

All synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, NMR, Mass and elemental analysis followed by in vitro antimicrobial studies against Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus), Gram-negative (Salmonella typhi and Klebsiella pneumoniae) bacterial and fungal (Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger) strains by the tube dilution method. The in vitro anticancer evaluation was carried out against the human colorectal carcinoma cell line (HCT116), using the Sulforhodamine B assay.

Results, discussion and conclusion

Compound W6 (MICsa, st, kp?=?5.19 µM) emerged as a significant antibacterial agent against all tested bacterial strains i.e. Gram-positive (S. aureus), Gram-negative (S. typhi, K. pneumoniae) while compound W1 (MICca, an?=?5.08 µM) was most potent against fungal strains (A. niger and C. albicans) and comparable to fluconazole (MIC?=?8.16 µM). The anticancer screening demonstrated that compound W17 (IC50?=?4.12 µM) was most potent amongst the synthesized  compounds and also more potent than the standard drug 5-FU (IC50?=?7.69 µM).

A novel cyclopropane derivative, 1-cyano-N-p-tolylcyclopropanecarboxamide (C12H12N2O, Mr = 200.24) was synthesized and its structure was studied by X-ray diffraction, FTIR, 1H and 13C NMR spectrum and MS. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P2_1/c with a = 7.109 (4), b = 13.758 (7), c = 11.505 (6) Å, α = 90.00, β = 102.731 (8), γ = 90.00 °, V = 1097.6 (9) Å3, Z = 4, F(000) = 312, D c  = 1.212 g/cm3, μ = 0.0800 mm?1, the final R = 0.0490 and wR = 0.1480 for 1,375 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). A total of 6,109 reflections were collected, of which 2,290 were independent (R int = 0.0290). Theoretical calculation of the title compound was carried out with HF/6-31G (d,p), B3LYP/6-31G (d,p), MP2/6-31G (d,p). The full geometry optimization was carried out using 6-31G(d,p) basis set, and the frontier orbital energy. Atomic net charges were discussed, and the structure-activity relationship was also studied. The preliminary biological test showed that the synthesized compound is bioactive against the KARI of Escherichia coli.  相似文献

Mycotoxins and selected hazardous alkaloids in the medicinal plants (Panax ginseng, Angelica sinensis, and Withania somnifera) and dietary supplements were determined. Purine alkaloids were found in majority of samples; however, isoquinoline alkaloids were less abundant than indole. The predominant alkaloids appear to be caffeine (purine group), harman (indole group) and berberine (isoquinoline). Examined medicinal plants and dietary supplements were contaminated by mycotoxins (especially ochratoxin A 1.72–5.83 µg kg?1), and many species of mold (e.g. Cladosporium, Eurotium, Aspergillus, Rhizopus, Penicillium). MTT cytotoxicity tests revealed that plant and supplements extracts exhibited medium or high cytotoxicity (only Dong quai—low). Moreover, antioxidant activity, total phenolics content and selected phytochemicals were analyzed by spectrophotometric and chromatographic methods. Quercetin and rutin were predominant flavonols (1.94-9.51 and 2.20–7.28 mg 100 g?1, respectively). Analysis of phenolic acids revealed—gallic acid, as the most abundant, except Panax ginseng, where ferulic acid was prevailing. For the first time in the published literature, a study is described concerning the use of the saw-sedge Cladium mariscus (C. mariscus) for adsorption of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) from aqueous systems. Among the experiments carried out, the elemental composition of C. mariscus was determined (C = 48.0 %, H = 7.1 %, N = 0.95 %, S = 0.4 %), FTIR spectroscopic analysis was performed to confirm the chemical structure of the adsorbent, and porous structure parameters were measured: BET surface area (A BET  = 0.6 m2/g), total pore volume (V p  = 0.001 cm3/g) and average pore size (S p  = 6.6 nm). It was shown that the effectiveness of removal of 2,4-D from aqueous systems using C. mariscus depends on parameters of the process: contact time, system pH, mass of sorbent, and temperature. Maximum adsorption was attained for a solution at pH = 3. Further increase in the alkalinity of the tested systems led to a reduction in the effectiveness of the process. The kinetic of adsorption of 2,4-D by C. mariscus was also determined, and thermodynamic aspects were investigated. The experimental data obtained correspond to a pseudo-second-order kinetic model of type 1. Additionally the negative values obtained for ΔHº indicate that the process is exothermic, and the negative values of ΔGº show it to be spontaneous. As the temperature of the system increases the spontaneity of adsorption is reduced, in accordance with the exothermic nature of the process.  相似文献

Chemical preparation, crystal structure, and NMR spectroscopy of a new trans-2,5-dimethylpiperazinium monophosphate are given. This new compound crystallizes in the triclinic system, with the space group P-1 and the following parameters: a = 6.5033(3), b = 7.6942(4), c = 8.1473(5) Å, α = 114.997(3), β = 92.341(3), γ = 113.136(3), V = 329.14(3) Å3, Z = 1, and Dx = 1.565 g cm?3. The crystal structure has been determined and refined to R = 0.030 and R w(F 2) = 0.032 using 1558 independent reflections. The structure can be described as infinite [H2PO4] n n? chains with (C6H16N2)2+ organic cations anchored between adjacent polyanions to form columns of anions and cations running along the b axis. This compound has also been investigated by IR, thermal, and solid-state, 13C and 31P MAS NMR spectroscopies and Ab initio calculations.  相似文献

Two napelline skeletal diterpenoid alkaloids 15-acetylsongorine, C24H33NO4 I, and songoramine, C22H29NO3 II, were first isolated from the roots of Aconitum Szechenyianum Gay. The crystal structures were determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis. The crystal I is the triclinic system with space group P1 having unit cell parameters of a = 9.360(8) Å, b = 11.593(9) Å, = 11.830(16) Å, α = 113.223(15)°, β = 105.950(16)°, γ = 101.296(12)°, and Z = 2. Hydrogen bonds O–H···O and O–H···N joint the molecules into dimer. The crystal II belongs to the orthorhombic system with space group P212121 having unit cell parameters of a = 8.950(2) Å, = 13.272(3) Å, = 15.454(4) Å and Z = 4. The O–H···O hydrogen bonding interaction links the molecule into linear chains. The distortion of rings of compound I and II were evaluated by calculation of the Cremer and Pople puckering parameters. The presence of the C–O–C bond in the compound II results in the changes of ring conformations compared with that of the compound I.  相似文献

Calculations are made using the equations Δr G = Δr H ? TΔr S and Δr X = Δr H ? Δr Q where Δr X represents the free energy change when the exchange of absorbed thermal energy with the environment is represented by Δr Q. The symbol Q has traditionally represented absorbed heat. However, here it is used specifically to represent the enthalpy listed in tabulations of thermodynamic properties as (H T  ? H 0) at T = 298.15 K, the reason being that for a given substance TS equals 2.0 Q for solid substances, with the difference being greater for liquids, and especially gases. Since Δr H can be measured, and is tangibly the same no matter what thermodynamics are used to describe a reaction equation, a change in the absorbed heat of a biochemical growth process system as represented by either Δr Q or TΔr S would be expected to result in a different calculated value for the free energy change. Calculations of changes in thermodynamic properties are made which accompany anabolism; the formation of anabolic, organic by-products; catabolism; metabolism; and their respective non-conservative reactions; for the growth of Saccharomyces cerevisiae using four growth process systems. The result is that there is only about a 1% difference in the average quantity of free energy conserved during growth using either Eq. 1 or 2. This is because although values of TΔr S and Δr Q can be markedly different when compared to one another, these differences are small when compared to the value for Δr G or Δr X.  相似文献

Three coordination polymers based on the new ligand oxamide N,N-bis(4-phthalic acid), namely [Zn(L)0.5-(2,2′-bpy)] n (1), [Ni2(2,2′-bpy)4(µ 2-Ox)]L·3H2O (2) and [Cd(L)(1,10-phen)] (3) [L = oxamide N,N-bis(4-phthalic acid)], (2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine), (1,10-phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction: compound 1 is one-dimensional ladder-like coordination polymer, compound 2 exhibits a three-dimensional structure resulting in extensive hydrogen bonds built with the help of lattice water molecules, compound 3 also exhibits a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. All compounds were also characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra and thermogravimetric analysis; furthermore, the magnetic measurements for 2 reveal antiferromagnetic coupling between the nickel(II) ions.  相似文献

Two cis-dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes [MoO2L] (L: L 1, 2 and L: L 2, 3) in a phenol-based sterically encumbered N2O2 ligand environment have been synthesized, and their crystallographic characterizations are reported. The orange crystals of 2 are monoclinic, space group P21/a with unit cell dimensions as a=16.2407(17) Å, b=7.2857(8) Å, c=18.400(2) Å, β=98.002(9)°, Z=4, and d cal=1.486 g cm?3. The light orange crystals of 3, however, are orthorhombic, space group, Pbcn, with unit cell dimensions a=8.3110(12) Å, b=12.637(3) Å, c=34.673(5) Å, Z=4, and d cal=1.187 g cm?3. The structures were refined by a full-matrix least-squares procedure on F 2 to a final R=0.046 (0.055 for 3) using 4944 (3677) all independent data. In both the cases, the Mo atom exists in a distorted octahedral geometry defined by a N2O4 donor set, which features a cis-Mo(–O)2 and a trans-Mo(OPh)2 arrangement. Compound 2 undergoes a quasireversible one-electron reduction at ?1.3 V vs Ag/AgCl reference due to MoVIO2/MoVO2 electron transfer and thus providing a rare example of steric solution to the comproportionation–dimerization problem encountered frequently in the development of valid biomimetic models for the active sites of oxomolybdenum enzymes.  相似文献

A new high-nitrogen complex [Cu(Hbta)2]·4H2O (H2bta = N,N-bis-(1(2)H-tetrazol-5-yl) amine) was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, single crystal X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analyses. X-ray structural analyses revealed that the crystal was monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c with lattice parameters a = 14.695(3) Å, b = 6.975(2) Å, c = 18.807(3) Å, β = 126.603(1)°, Z = 4, D c = 1.888 g cm?3, and F(000) = 892. The complex exhibits a 3D supermolecular structure which is built up from 1D zigzag chains. The enthalpy change of the reaction of formation for the complex was determined by an RD496–III microcalorimeter at 25 °C with the value of ?47.905 ± 0.021 kJ mol?1. In addition, the thermodynamics of the reaction of formation of the complex was investigated and the fundamental parameters k, E, n, \( \Updelta S_{ \ne }^{{{\uptheta}}} \), \( \Updelta H_{ \ne }^{{{\uptheta}}} \), and \( \Updelta G_{ \ne }^{{{\uptheta}}} \) were obtained. The effects of the complex on the thermal decomposition behaviors of the main component of solid propellant (HMX and RDX) indicated that the complex possessed good performance for HMX and RDX.  相似文献

The molecular and crystal structures of 1,2-bis(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)ethane-1,2-dione (TMBZ = tetramethoxybenzil) were determined by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction, 1H NMR, and FT-IR spectroscopy. The compound TMBZ (C18H18O6, M r = 330.32) crystallized in the orthorhombic Fdd2 space group wherein: a = 39.145(4), b = 18.167(2), c = 4.3139(5) Å and β = 90°, Z = 8. The packing of the molecules in the crystal lattice is stabilized by intermolecular C–H?O contacts in the herringbone arrangement. The molecular geometry and harmonic frequencies of TMBZ in the ground state were calculated utilizing density functional (B3LYP) method with the 6-311++G(d, p)-basis set. The density functional theory optimized the geometric structure, and vibrational wave numbers of TMBZ in gas phase were compared with the experimental data. A complete assignment of the fundamentals was proposed based on the total energy distribution calculation.  相似文献

A new Co-base sodium metaphosphate compound, NaCo(PO3)3, has been synthesized here by solid-state method. The crystal structure is refined by the Rietveld method, and the results reveal that NaCo(PO3)3 has an orthorhombic structure with the space group of P2 1 2 1 2 1 and lattice parameters of a = 14.2453(2) Å, b = 14.2306(1) Å, and c = 14.2603(2) Å. Its typical morphology and chemical composition are confirmed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy-dispersive spectrometry (EDS). The valence states of all elements and the internal/external vibrational modes of NaCoP3O9 compound are measured by X-ray photoelectron and vibrational spectrum, where a typical feature of the (PO3)? polyanion group is observed. Meanwhile, the electrochemical properties of NaCo(PO3)3 cathode for sodium-ion batteries are also elevated and an initial discharge capacity of 33.8 mAh/g can be obtained at 0.05 C within 1.5–4.2 V. After 20 cycles, a discharge capacity of 26.7 mAh/g can be obtained and a well-kept oxidation–reduction plateau is still observed for NaCo(PO3)3 cathode, indicating the good reversibility of this metaphosphate electrode.  相似文献

Two thiosemicarbazones, (E)-2-(2,4-dimethoxybenzylidene)thiosemicarbazone (24-MBTSC (1)) and (E)-2-(2,5-dimethoxybenzylidene)thiosemicarbazone (25-MBTSC (2)), derived from 2,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and 2,5-dimethoxybenzaldehyde, respectively, with thiosemicarbazide have been synthesized and their structures were characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis. Molecular orbital calculations have been carried out for 1 and 2 by using an ab initio method (HF) and also density functional method (B3LYP) at 6-31G basis set. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c, with a = 8.1342(5) Å, b = 18.1406(10) Å, c = 8.2847(6) Å, β = 109.7258(17)°, V = 1150.75(12) Å3, and Z = 4, whereas compound 2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pbca, with a = 11.0868(6) Å, b = 13.1332(6) Å, c = 15.9006(8) Å, V = 2315.2(2) Å3, and Z = 8. The compounds 1 and 2 displays a trans-configuration about the C=N double bond.  相似文献

The first inorg/organic hybrid complex incorporating the macrocyclic oxamide, of formula [(NiL)2Cu2(μ-NSC)2(NSC)2] (1), (NiL, H2L = 2, 3-dioxo-5,6,14,15-dibenzo-1,4,8,12-tetraazacyclo-pentadeca-7,13-dien), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The crystals crystallize in the triclinic system, space group P-1, for (1) a = 8.319(3) Å, b = 10.434(4) Å, c = 14.166(5) Å, a = 107.030(5)°, β  =  91.257(5)°, γ = 107.623(5)°. The complex involved both bridging N, S-ligand, and oxamide ligand, C–H?S interactions and NCS → Ni weak coordination interactions making the complex superamolecular.  相似文献

This paper is focused on a characterization of bacterial contamination in pool water of the interim spent fuel storage (JAVYS Inc.) in Slovak Republic and on bioaccumulation of 137Cs and 60Co by isolated bacteria. Bacterial community in pool water is kept on very low level by extremely low concentration of solutes in deionized water and by the efficient water filtration system. Based on standard methods and sequencing of 16S rDNA four pure bacterial cultures were identified as Kocuria palustris, Micrococcus luteus, Ochrobactrum spp. and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Isolated aerobic bacteria were able to bioaccumulate 137Cs and 60Co in laboratory experiments. The mechanism of Co and Cs binding involve rapid interactions with anionic groups of the components of cell surface and in the case of Cs+ ions is followed by transport processes across cytoplasm membranes and by intracellular distribution. The maximum specific uptake of Cs+ after 48 h cultivation in mineral medium (MM) reached 7.54 ± 0.48 μmol g?1 dw (Ochrobactrum spp.), 19.6 ± 0.1 μmol g?1 dw (M. luteus) and 20.1 ± 2.2 μmol g?1 dw (K. palustris). The maximum specific uptake of Co2+ after 24 h cultivation in MM reached 31.1 ± 3.5 μmol g?1 dw (Ochrobactrum spp.), 86.6 ± 12.2 μmol g?1 dw (M. luteus) and 16.9 ± 1.2 μmol g?1 dw (K. palustris). These results suggest that due to the long lasting uptake of 137Cs, 60Co and other radionuclides by biofilm in pool water high specific radioactivities (Bq m?2) can be expected on stainless steel walls of pools.  相似文献

Thermal analysis on organically modified Ca2+-montmorillonite (OMON) and its source materials—octadecylamine (ODA) and Ca2+-montmorillonite (Ca2+-Mon)—was studied using thermally stimulated current (TSC) technique. The appearance of ρ MON peak with the T max = 75 °C shows the ability of the developed TSC system to demonstrate the relaxation effects of dehydration in Ca2+-Mon. It appeared within the temperature range of DSC endothermic peak (30–100 °C) where the T mMON = 58 °C. Segmental motions of ODA chains and structural disruptions in the modifier agent compound produced TSC α ODA, ρ ODA and ρ 1ODA peaks that are comparable to thermal transition and endothermic peaks in DSC profile (T gODA, T m1ODA and T m2ODA). The effect of localized motion in ODA chains as revealed by the TSC βOMON peak (T max = ?23 °C), however, is absent in the DSC profile of OMON. It shows TSC technique has high sensitivity in detecting various relaxation behaviors at molecular level. More evidences are demonstrated by the ρ OMON (T max = 86 °C) and ρ 1OMON (T max = 105 °C) peak originated from the ODA chains structures. These peaks also confirm the intercalation of the modifier cations inside the Ca2+-Mon gallery.  相似文献

9-Diazofluoren adds in Et2O at 20°C to methyltetrolate in keeping with Auwers rule and nonregioselectively adds to methyl-3-phenylpropiolate with the formation of spirocyclic 3H-pyrazoles. The methyltetrolate adduct at boiling in toluene converts into methyl 3a-methyl-3aH-dibenzo[e,g]indazole-3-carboxylate, at 190°C in benzene, into methyl 3-methyl-2H-dibenzo[e,g]indazole-2-carboxylate, and at 160°C in methanol, into 3-methyl-2H-dibenzo[e,g]indazole. Auwers adduct of methyl 3-phenylpropiolate at boiling in benzene gives cyclopropene derivative and at boiling in methanol isomerizes into methyl 3a-phenyl-3aHdibenzo[e,g]indazole-3-carboxylate. Anti-Auwers adduct at boiling in benzene isomerizes into methyl 2-phenylpyrazolo[1,5-f]phenanthridine-3-carboxylate.  相似文献

Trans-Bis[1,3-bis(2,4-dimethylphenylimidazolidin-2-ylidene)]dichloropalladium(II), 4, was prepared from 1,3-bis(2,4-dimetilphenyl)imidazoliniumchloride. The crystal and molecular structure of 4 have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The title compound, C38H44N4PdCl2, crystalizes in the monoclinic space group P 21/n with a = 13.8713(9) Å, b = 12.1365(6) Å, c = 21.5499(15) Å. The Pd atom has a slightly distorted square planar coordination geometry. The molecules of the title compound are linked by C–H···Cl weak hydrogen bonds into two-dimensional sheets parallel to the (001) plane. In addition, the title compound was characterized by elemental analyses and NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献
