The results of an infrared study of poly (meta-phenylene adipamide)-poly (ethylene oxide) blends are reported. This is the first time, to the authors' knowledge, that infrared spectroscopy has been used to experimentally map the phase diagram of a polymer blend. The results are compared with theoretical phase diagrams calculated from a recently described association model.  相似文献

The conditions of stability for weakly charged polyelectrolyte mixtures are analyzed from a scattering theory developed previously. In the thermodynamic limit of zero wave vector q = 0, it is found that electrostatic interaction induces a compatibility enhancement which is discussed for various cases of charge distributions. The condition of microphase separation transition at the wave vector for which the scattering is a maximum is also discussed. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

固相微萃取是一种具有高灵敏度、回收率和重复性等优点的前处理技术,广泛应用于水中痕量污染物的处理,本文从固相微萃取装置、基本原理及其在水样污染物检测的中应用展开介绍,并以固相微萃取作为主题检索词,利用ISI Web of Knowledge中Web of Science引文数据库,对1998年到2012年间的相关文献进行计量分析。结果表明,固相微萃取主要应用于水样前处理,杀虫剂是主要的富集对象,气相、液相色谱以及质谱是常使用的检测器。  相似文献

The statistical–mechanical problem of the transition between crystalline and columnar phases in a main-chain liquid–crystalline polymer is treated in a simple model in which only longitudinal motions of the polymer chains are permitted. A mean-field approximation for the interchain potential is used to obtain a self-consistent equation for the crystalcolumnar transition temperature. When applied to typical homopolymers this theory correctly predicts transition temperatures above the degradation temperature; when applied to a crude model of a random copolymer a temperature in the observed range is predicted.  相似文献

The morphology of segmented polyurethane (PU) elastomers was studied by means of ESR at various temperatures ranging from 100K-450K. The PU's were based on 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), poly (oxytetramethylene) glycols (PTMO) and hydroxyl-terminated random compolymers of tetrahydrofuran and 3-methyl-tetrahydrofuran (THF/Me-THF). Purified 1,4-butanediol (BD) was used as a chain extender. The nitroxide probe, 4-hydroxy-2-2',6-6'-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl (TEMPOL), was used to label the polyurethanes by reaction with an NCO group of MDI. Analysis of the electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra suggested that the label situates at heterogeneous sites, which means that a two-phase domain is present. The morphologies at 300K and 400K were compared. It was found from ESR spectra that polyurethanes made from soft segments having higher MW exhibited greater phase separation at 300K than their corresponding elastomers made from lower MW soft segments. However, at 400K the more isotropic ESR spectra for the PUs containing higher MW soft segments suggested that the PUs were more mobile than their analogs having lower MW soft segments. The introduction of 3-methyl side groups decreased the phase mixing at 400K due to steric hindrance.  相似文献

以聚乙二醇(PEG)为软段、六亚甲基二异氰酸酯-1,4-丁二醇-二羟甲基丙酸(HDI-BDO-DMPA)为硬段,制备了一系列水性聚氨酯相变储能材料(WPUPCM)。在相变过程中,由于软段PEG由聚合前的固-液相变转化为聚合后的固-固相变,因此,所制备的WPUPCM表现出固-固相变特性。为了研究其固态相变行为的本质和形成机理,揭示该类聚合物的能量贮存和转换机理,应用偏光显微镜、扫描电镜、原子力显微镜、X射线衍射仪分析研究了PEG、WPUPCM在相变过程中的晶体结构变化特征,讨论了WPUPCM固-固相转变的机理。  相似文献

A coacervation technique for microencapsulation using Eudragit Retard polymers [poly(methyl methacrylates) substituted by quaternary ammonium groups] as wall material is described, based upon phase separation using a cold chloroform-cyclohexane mixture together with polyisobutylene as a stabilizer. The effect of various parameters on the nature and properties of the microcapsules of potassium dichromate and paracetamol has been studied, in particular the alteration in wall content and structure and release rate of contents. The microcapsules are discrete, their properties are reproducible, and various degrees of sustained release are obtained.  相似文献

The formation of amyloid fibrils is one of the variants of the self-organization of polypeptide chains. For the amyloid aggregation, the solution must be oversaturated with proteins. The interface of the liquid (solution) and solid (vessel walls) phases can trigger the adsorption of protein molecules, and the resulting oversaturation can initiate conformational transitions in them. In any laboratory experiment, we cannot exclude the presence of surfaces such as the walls of vessels, cuvettes, etc. However, in many works devoted to the study of amyloid formation, this feature is not considered. In our work, we investigated the behavior of the Aβ 1-40 peptide at the water–glass, water–quartz, and water–plastic interface. We carried out a series of simple experiments and showed that the Aβ 1-40 peptide is actively adsorbed on these surfaces, which leads to a significant interaction and aggregation of peptides. This means that the interface can be the place where the first amyloid nucleus appears. We suggest that this effect may also be one of the reasons for the difficulty of reproducing kinetic data when studying the aggregation of the amyloid of the Aβ 1-40 peptide and other amyloidogenic proteins  相似文献

Miscibility in blends of random copolymers of o-chlorostyrene and p-chlorostyrene [P(oClSy-co-pClS1-y)] with 8 atactic polystyrene (aPS) fractions has been studied at temperatures ranging from 150°C to 300°C. Miscibility windows whose size depends on the molecular weight of the PS and on the copolymer composition, y, were observed for each blend. From these data, the temperature dependence of the three segmental interaction parameters required to describe this system were obtained.  相似文献

Small-angle light-scattering (SALS), Polarized light microscopy (PLM), differntial scanning calorimetry (DSC), and small-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) were used to study morphological changes in segmented polyurethanes with 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) and 1,4-butanediol (BD) as the hard segment. It was found. for the first time, that spherulites could form from the melt by quenching the polyurethanes in the melt state to annealing temperatures between 120°C and Th, the highest annealing temperature for spherulite formation. Th ranged from 140°C to ca. 170°C and depended upon the hard-and soft-segment compatibility. Within the range 120°C to Th, the radius of the spherulite increased with increasing hard-segment content at each fixed annealing temperature. Annealing at 135–140°C gave rise to the largest spherulites. SAXS was used to investigate the phase-separated structures corresponding to the spherulite formation. The interdomain spacing increased with increasing hard-segment content and with increasing annealing temperature.The degree of phase separation first increased with increasing annealing temperature from room temperatures (ca. 25°C), reached a maximum at ca. 107°C, and then decreased with further increase in the annealing temperature. On the basis of these observations, the mechanisms of phase separation, crystallization, and spherulite formation are discussed. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Polydiethylene glycol adipate (DEGA) has been successfully used as stationary phase for residue analysis by glass capillary gas chromatography. A specially stabilized version of the phase yields a good polar column which is stable up to 250°C when used in temperature programmed cycles. 本文以组装性能良好的苯丙氨酸二肽(FF)为母体分子,用组氨酸对其进行化学修饰,通过多肽固相合成法合成了组氨酸-苯丙二肽(HisFF)凝胶因子。合成的HisFF分子通过质谱(MS)、核磁共振(NMR)和液相色谱(HPLC)方法测试确定精确的结构和纯度。HisFF聚集体的形貌结构通过透射电子显微镜(TEM)和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观察。HisFF分子在甲苯、氯仿和乙酸乙酯溶剂中形成凝胶强度不同,TEM实验结果表明纤维强度和聚集形态影响其凝胶的强度。组氨酸-苯丙二肽在多种溶剂中,通过不同组装方法可以组装成各种各样的纳米结构。例如,HisFF在丙酮、甲醇和乙酸乙酯溶剂中可组装成纳米颗粒、纳米管和螺旋状纳米纤维;组氨酸-苯丙二肽先经HFIP溶解再通过溶剂稀释后,可得到不同直径的纳米纤维。但是在四氢呋喃、乙醇和乙腈溶剂中,两种方法组装的形貌几乎无变化。  相似文献
