This paper describes a detailed numerical investigation of a stationary high-aspect-ratio rib-roughed rectangular cooling channel with longitudinal intersecting ribs near the gas turbine blade trailing edge region. In order to overcome the heat transfer performance degeneration in the highaspect- ratio channel, longitudinal intersecting ribs are arranged on the channel bottom surface. The effect of the number of longitudinal intersecting ribs on the flow and heat transfer is systematically studied in the Reynolds number range Re = 10 000–30 000. The results show that a heat transfer augmentation region exists just downstream the junction between the longitudinal rib and the angled rib due to additional secondary flows. With more longitudinal intersecting ribs, the heat transfer distributions on the channel surfaces are more uniform. Though the pressure loss is also enlarged with an increase in the number of longitudinal intersecting ribs, the overall thermal efficiency increases in the entire range of Reynolds numbers investigated. The configuration with two sets of longitudinal intersecting ribs shows the best overall thermal efficiency.  相似文献

基于齐次扩容精细积分法和复数矢径虚拟边界谱方法,利用Fourier积分变换和稳相法,提出了一种具有较高效率和精度的新的求解水下纵向加肋无限长非圆柱壳声辐射问题的半解析方法.考虑了非圆柱壳和肋骨之间同时存在多种相互作用力和力偶矩,较已往很多学者仅计及法向相互作用力更加符合实际.不仅比较了该文方法和精确解计算纵向加肋圆柱壳在集中点力激励下的声辐射计算结果,同时还研究了肋骨数量、大小以及椭圆柱壳横截面椭圆度对声辐射特性的影响.数值计算结果表明该文方法较已有的混合FE-BE法更为有效.  相似文献

Based on the extended homogeneous capacity high precision integration method and the spectrum method of virtual boundary with a complex radius vector, a novel semi-analytical method, which has satisfactory computation effectiveness and precision, is presented for solving the acoustic radiation from a submerged infinite non-circular cylindrical shell stiffened by longitudinal ribs by means of the Fourier integral transformation and stationary phase method. In this work,besides the normal interacting force, which is commonly adopted by some researchers, the other interacting forces and moments between the longitudinal ribs and the non-circular cylindrical shell are considered at the same time. The effects of the number and the size of the cross-section of longitudinal ribs on the characteristics of acoustic radiation are investigated. Numerical results show that the method proposed is more efficient than the existing mixed FE-BE method.  相似文献

以两种截面形状的纵向加劲肋和三种缺口类型的横隔板进行组合,铺设不同厚度、不同弹性模量的沥青混凝土,建立正交异性闭口加劲钢桥面板有限元实体模型;在钢桥面板纵、横向最不利位置进行加载,用Ansys程序计算分析了带铺装正交异性闭口加劲钢桥面板轮载作用下的力学性能,研究了桥面铺装层弹性模量E1和铺装层厚度,对桥面板力学性能的影响规律.E1的改变对铺装层影响的程度大于对钢桥面结构体系,E1增大,钢桥面板最大主应力减小,沥青表面的最大主应力增大;E1越大,E1变化的影响程度也越大;t对正交异性钢桥面板结构体系和沥青铺装内部受力影响较大,随着t的增大,钢桥面板和沥青表面最大主应力均减小.  相似文献

A previously developed technique is used to solve problems of strength and stability of discretely reinforced noncircular cylindrical shells made of a composite material with allowance for the moments and nonlinearity of their subcritical stress–strain state. Stability of a reinforced bay of the aircraft fuselage made of a composite material under combined loading with bending and twisting moments is studied. The effects of straining nonlinearity, stiffness of longitudinal ribs, and shell thickness on the critical loads that induce shell buckling are analyzed.  相似文献

The issue of turbine lifetime is an important one, particularly for modern turbines operating at high temperature regimes. A cooling design such as ribs may achieve an improved lifetime and complex mechanisms of heat transfer need to be well studied. In this paper, a Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) is presented for a 3-D channel flow with two square ribs on the lower wall. The full unsteady compressible Navier-Stokes equations are solved with an original hybrid finite difference/finite element scheme. The Reynolds number of the simulation is 7 000 based on the bulk velocity at the inlet and the channel height. The present study is mainly devoted to understand the mechanism of heat transfer at the wall through the topological analysis of the flow and the temperature flux. Results show that the large-scale structures generated by obstacles splash onto the lower surface and induce longitudinal vortices which enhance heat transfer at the wall. A comprehensive data base including 56 correlations was set up for testing and improving turbulence models for this complex, separated flow.  相似文献

PIV investigation of flow behind surface mounted permeable ribs   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The flow behind surface mounted permeable rib geometries, i.e. solid, slit, split-slit and inclined split-slit ribs have been studied using flow visualization and PIV (2-C and 3-C) technique in streamwise and cross-stream measurement planes. The objective behind this study is to understand the flow structures responsible for heat transfer/mixing enhancement with simultaneous pressure penalty reduction by permeable rib geometries. The Reynolds number based on the rib height has been set equal to 5,538 and the open area ratio of permeable ribs is equal to 20%. The permeable rib geometries have shorter reattachment length in comparison to the solid rib. The maximum 41% reduction in reattachment length is observed for the inclined split-slit rib. The splitter mounted inside the slit leads to two corner vortices behind it. The corner vortices drag the flow from the primary recirculation bubble region towards the rib resulting in drop of the reattachment length. Two horseshoe vortices are present in the flow through the slit at both sides of the splitter due to the upstream flow separation. The slit inclination moves these horseshoe vortices closer to the bottom wall. A film like flow through the slit is present near the downstream corner of the inclined split-slit rib. The spanwise velocity gradient due to the splitter leads to vorticity and turbulence enhancement by vortex stretching. The inclination of the slit and the use of a splitter inside the slit are two important design parameters responsible in generation of near-wall longitudinal vortices. The flow field behind permeable ribs is dominated by vortical structures with definable critical flow patterns, i.e. node, saddle and foci. Heat transfer distribution in rectangular ducts with V-shaped ribs   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
 Heat transfer distributions are presented for a rectangular duct with two opposite wide walls arranged with V-shaped ribs pointing upstream or downstream relative to the main flow direction. The rectangular duct has an aspect ratio of 1/8. The parallel V-shaped circular ribs are arranged staggered on the two wide walls. The rib height-to-hydraulic diameter ratio is 0.06, with an attack angle of 60°. The pitch-to-height ratio equals 10. The tested Reynolds numbers range from 1000 to 6000. The test surface is sprayed with black paint and then liquid crystal, and a steady state method is adopted to obtain the temperature distribution between adjacent ribs. The secondary flow caused by the angled ribs creates different spanwise variation of the heat transfer coefficient on the rib-roughened wall for different V-rib orientations. Interaction between heat transfer and secondary flow is analyzed. In the streamwise direction, the temperature distribution shows a sawtooth behavior between a pair of adjacent ribs. Local Nusselt numbers are presented between a pair of adjacent ribs, and based on these the average Nusselt numbers are calculated to investigate the augmentation of heat transfer by the presence of the V-shaped ribs. A method for determining the natural frequencies and modes of ribbed shallow shells with rectangular planform on an elastic foundation is developed. The method takes into account the discrete arrangement of the ribs. A shallow spherical shell with square planform is considered as example to analyze the effect of the number of ribs and the Winkler and Pasternak coefficients of subgrade reaction on the natural frequencies and modes. In the present study, experimental studies are carried out to investigate the heat transfer and friction characteristics in a square duct roughened by various-shaped ribs on one wall. The ribs are oriented transversely to the main stream in a periodic arrangement. Liquid crystal thermography is employed to measure the local and average heat transfer coefficient on the ribbed surface. The rib height-to-duct hydraulic diameter ratio is fixed at 0.1; the rib pitch-to-height ratio varies from 8 to 15 and the test Reynolds number spans from 8,000 to 20,000. The results show that the trapezoidal-shaped ribs with decreasing height in the flow direction (case C) provide the highest heat transfer enhancement factor and are likely to be used to suppress the local hot spot which usually occurs in the region just behind the ribs.  相似文献
