Abstract  

The synthesis, thermal and spectral characterization, and crystal structure of isomorphous thiocyanate cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes with 3-hydroxypicolinamide (3-OHpia), [M(C6H6N2O2)2(NCS)2]·2H2O, are reported. The metal(II) ions are chelated by two cis-oriented 3-OHpia and two thiocyanate ligands in distorted octahedral geometry. The distortion within the coordination sphere is mainly imposed by formation of the chelate rings. The compounds crystallize in monoclinic space group P2/c with two symmetrically independent molecules and a = 14.4945(2) ?, b = 8.5906(1) ?, c = 16.3865(3) ?, β = 105.987(2)°, Z = 4 (1) and a = 14.4927(5) ?, b = 8.5912(3) ?, c = 16.2712(6) ?, β = 105.740(4)°, Z = 4 (2). Commonly observed supramolecular amide synthons are not robust enough to accommodate thiocyanate ions and H2O molecules. But instead, neutral complexes are linked through hydrogen bonds leading to two different hydrogen bonding ribbon motifs involving amide moieties and H2O molecules [C(8)R 22(12) along c axis] and amide moieties and thiocyanate ions [C(8)R 22(16) along b axis] for symmetrically related molecules labelled as 1 [Co1 (1) and Ni1 (2)] and 2 [Co2 (1) and Ni2 (2)], respectively.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structures oftrans-[PtCl2(C2H4)(4-MeC5H4N)] (I) andtrans-[PtCl2(C2H4)(2,4,6-Me3C5H2N)] (II) have been determined by single-crystal x-ray methods.I crystallizes in space groupP21/c witha= 4.991(1), b=21.658(3), c=10.675(3) Å, =110.17(2) °,Z=4;II is orthorhombic (Pbca) witha=10.295(6),b=12.393(8),c=20.370(10) Å,Z=8.Full-matrix least-squares refinements have given finalR factors of 0.053 (1520 reflections) forI and 0.042. (1412 reflections) forII. The intensities were recorded by counter methods, and only those reflections havingI>3(I) were used in the analyses.In both complexes, platinum is four-coordinate with the two chlorine atoms, the double bond of the ethylene, and the nitrogen atom of the substituted pyridine. The two structures are discussed in terms of the arrangement of the pyridine ligand with respect to the PtCl2(C2H4) moiety.  相似文献

Cu(II) and Pb(II) complexes of 4,4′-bipyridine-N,N′-dioxide have been prepared using a solvent-layering system. [Cu2Cl4(bpdo)3(H2O)2] . 2(CH3)2SO (1) crystallises in P-1, a=8.731(2), b=8.943(2), c=14.408(3) ?, α=102.85(3), β=97.49(3), γ=109.77(3)°. The Cu(II) complex is a z-shaped discrete molecule with a DMSO molecule hydrogen bonded to the host through coordinated water molecule. Crystallisation of PbCl2, PbBr2 and PbI2 with bpdo afforded isostructural 2D coordination polymers. [PbCl2(bpdo)]n is monoclinic, C2/c with a=16.3274(7), b=4.0708(1), c=18.6146(8) ?, β=93.73(1)°; [PbBr2(bpdo)]n is monoclinic, C2/c with a=16.403(3), b=4.2412(8), c=18.846(4) ?, β=92.59(3)° and [PbI2(bpdo)]n is monoclinic, C2/c with a=16.438(3), b=4.538(1), c=18.973(4) ?, β=91.04(3)°. The adjacent metal centres of these polymers are bridged by coordinated Cl, Br or I anions as well as by bpdo ligands. These polymers possess no conventional hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The title compounds, (Z)-1-[(2′,4′-dimethoxy-3′-nitro)-phenyl]-2-[(3″,4″,5″-trimethoxy)-phenyl]ethene, C19H21O7N (I), and 2-amino-4-methyl-6-(3,4,5-trimethoxy-phenyl)-pyrimidine, C14H17O3N3 (II), were obtained unexpectedly from a reaction involving (Z)-1-[(2′,3′-dinitro-4′-methoxy)-phenyl]-2-[(3″,4″,5″-trimethoxy)-phenyl]ethene (IV). The molecular structures of these compounds were obtained by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystallization of I occurs in the centrosymmetric monoclinic space group P21/c (No. 14) with a=7.7311(5), b=19.9239(13), c=11.5725(8); and β=92.193(3) and Z=4. Crystallization of II occurs in the centrosymmetric monoclinic space group C2/c (No. 15) with a=21.296(2), b=6.8963(7), c=20.001(2); and β=114.121(6) and Z=8. Details of the synthesis and the structural characterization of the title compounds are presented and discussed.  相似文献

The corresponding unexposidized compound, 11βH,13-dihydrocostunolide, C15H22O2,3, crystallizes with three independent molecules in orthorhombic space groupP212121 witha=7.3576(5),b=23.505(3),c=24.185(2) ?,V=4182(1) ?3,Z=12.R=0.070 for 2767 observed data. In all, the 10-membered rings adopt approximate chair-chair conformations. In all, the double bonds or epoxidized double bonds are E, both methyl groups on the 10-ring are β, and the α-methylene-γ-lactone (or α-methyl-γ-lactone) istrans-fused at C6 and C7 with H6 β and H7 α. [Cd(C5H4O4)(OH2)2] (1), crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space groupP21/n, with lattice parametersa=7.323(2),b=16.028(6),c=7.202(2) Å, β=113.11(1)°, andZ=4. The Cd atom coordinates to seven oxygens in a monocapped trigonal antiprism fashion. The antiprisms share one vertex to form chains which run approximately parallel to thec axis. Two new manganese(II)-1,10-phenanthroline-nitroprusside complexes, [Mn(phen)3][Fe (CN)5(NO)]⋯2H2O⋯0.25CH3OH (1) and [Mn(phen)2(H2O)2][Fe(CN)5(NO)]⋯H2O (2) (where phen is 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction, electronic paramagnetic resonance (E.P.R.) and IR analyses. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n, with lattice parameters a = 10.0441(15) Å, b = 19.668(2) Å, c = 19.938(3) Å,  β =100.427(14)°, V = 3873.7(10) Å3, Z = 4; complex (2) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c, with a = 17.120(2) Å, b = 13.7925(19) Å, c = 14.4362(17) Å, β = 107.962(12)°, V = 3242.6(7) Å3, Z = 4. In the two compounds, three phen ligands 1, or two phen ligands and two cis-related aqua molecules 2, are in a distorted octahedral arrangement around the Mn(II) ion. The nitroprusside anion, [Fe(CN)5(NO)]2−, acts as a counterion. It is intriguing that in complex 2 no cyano bridges are present with two water molecules coordinated to the Mn(II) ion considering that usually the cyano nitrogen atoms are strong donors and could readily replace the coordinating solvent water molecules. Abundant hydrogen bond interactions and π–π stacking between the phen rings in two complexes lead to three-dimensional supramolecular networks.  相似文献

Abstract  

The addition of the N–H bond of the formamidine, ArN(H)C=NAr (Ar = C6H3Pr2i-2,6), to the gallium(I) center of [K(tmeda)][:Ga(Ar-DAB)] (Ar-DAB={(Ar)NC(H)}2) yields K[(Ar-DAB)GaIII(H){N(Ar)C=NAr}] 1. The crystal structure of this and two other related anionic compounds, [K(18-crown-6)][(Ar-DAB)GaIII{N(H)N=Fl}{(H)Fl}] (Fl = fluorendiyl) 2 and [K(OEt2)3][(Ar-DAB)GaII(CH2Ph)GaII(Ar-DAB)] 3, have been determined. The cell parameters of the compounds are 1: P21/c, a = 20.2350(9), b = 14.1760(7), c = 19.6441(10), β = 111.307(1); 2: P21/c, a = 13.115(3), b = 21.799(4), c = 22.646(5), β = 90.20(3); 3: P21/n, a = 16.783(3), b = 21.635(4), c = 19.814(4), β = 92.34(3). The crystal structures of all complexes exhibit distorted tetrahedral gallium centers, and interactions between anion aryl substituents and the potassium cations.  相似文献

The molecular bis(2-N-H-pyrrolylcarbaldimine)nickel(II) and palladium(II) complexes are isolated in moderate yield (30–35%) from in situ assembly of the Schiff base with metal(II) salt, base, and pyrrole-2-carbaldehyde in aqueous ammonia solution. The nickel(II) complex, 1, is monoclinic, space group P21/c, with a=11.289(6) ?, b=5.611(3) ?, c=8.287(5) ?, β=111.620(6)°, and V=488.0(5) ?3 with Z=2, for d calc=1.667 Mg/m3. The palladium analog, 2, is isomorphous, space group P21/c, with a=11.481(3) ?, b=5.5738(10) ?, c=8.276(2) ?, β=110.923(12)°, and V=494.7(2) ?3 with Z=2, for d calc=1.965 Mg/m3. In both crystal structures, the metal resides on an inversion center. In the IR spectra, ν(C=N) appears at 1561 cm−1 in 1, and 1557 cm−1 in 2, while ν(N–H) shows at 3345 cm−1 and 3335 cm−1, respectively. The 1H-nmr spectra reveal the C–H and N–H protons of the imine group as sharp and broad doublets, respectively, at 7.62 and 8.38 δ in 1 and at 7.92 and 9.73 δ in 2.  相似文献

Abstract  

The structural aspects of one-dimensional coordination polymer (1) of nickel(II) with 1,3,5-benzene tricarboxylate and a three-dimensional interpenetrating coordination polymer (2) of zinc(II) with 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate ligand are studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Coordination polymer (1) forms a hydrogen bonded three dimensional network structures. The coordination polymer 1 having a composition [Ni3(TMA)2(H2O)12] n where (TMA = trimesate anion), crystallizes in monoclinic crystal system with C2 space group and has a/?, 17.3387(4); b/?, 12.8748(4); c/?, 6.5302(2); β/°111.620(2); V/?3, 1355.20(7). The zinc coordination polymer 2 crystal system is orthorhombic, with space group Pbca. It has a/?, 14.5049(3); b/?, 17.1616(3); c/?, 18.1389(4); V/?3, 4515.27(16). The 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate three dimensional coordination polymer of zinc(II) comprises of novel hydroxo bridged tetranuclear zinc(II) secondary building units and has a composition [Zn2(C6H4C2O4)1.5{(CH3)2SO}2(OH)] n . Topological analysis of the three dimensional coordination polymer 2 shows that it has a two fold interpenetrating net topology.  相似文献

[Zn(SO2)2][AsF6]2 (1) has been prepared from zinc metal and AsF5 in liquid sulfur dioxide, and crystallized from sulfur dioxide giving crystals of [Zn(SO2)4(AsF6)2] (1a). The compound 1 forms the homoleptic complexes [Zn(NCR)6](AsF6)2 (R: CH3 (2a), C6H5 (3a), C6F5 (3b)) with the corresponding nitriles. In these complexes, the metal center is octahedrally surrounded by six ligands (average Zn–N 2.13 ?). Reaction of 1 with the weaker ligand F3CCN results in dicoordination at the metal center complemented by a two-dimensional polymeric network (2b) containing bridging AsF6 anions. Abstract  

Two ternary complexes of manganese(II) indole-2-carboxylate (2-IC) or isoquinolinecarboxylate (IQC) with 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) in methanol or in dimethylacetamide (DMA) were synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction and IR spectra. [Mn(C9H6NO2)2(C12H8N2)2]·CH4O (1) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 with cell parameters of a = 10.548(2) ?, b = 14.168(3) ?, c = 14.580(3) ?, α = 62.35(2)°, β = 69.16(2)°, γ = 78.61(2)°, V = 1802.4(6) ?3 and Z = 2; [Mn(C10H6NO2)2(C12H8N2)].C4H9NO (2) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/a with cell parameters of a = 15.304(5) ?, b = 12.871(5) ?, c = 17.421(5) ?, β = 114.39(1), V = 3125(2) ?3 and Z = 4. In 1, Mn is six-coordinate by two bidentate phen ligands and two 2-IC ligands and exhibits a very distorted octahedral geometry. This complex is solvated by methanol involved in hydrogen bonding. In 2, Mn atom is surrounded by one bidentate phen ligand and two bidentate IQC ligands. The complex exhibits a distorted octahedral geometry around the MnII atom. The crystal structure is completed by a disordered DMA solvate molecule. The IR spectra of both compounds are slightly different in the range 4000–2400 cm−1 which may be attributed to hydrogen bond lack in 2.  相似文献

The first titled compound, 1, was obtained by treating [Ru(bpy)(η2-tpy)(CO)CH2OH]PF6 with acetic anhydride. Heating 1 in acetonitrile afforded 2, [Ru((η3-tpy)(MeCN)(CO) CH2OAc]PF6. Allowing 2 to stand in CH2Cl2 followed by concentration and precipitation afforded the second titled compound, 3 ([Ru((η3-tpy)(CO)–CH2OAc]PF6), in which the acetoxymethyl group had become bidentate. Abstract  

Assembly of orotic acid (2,6-dioxo-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyrimidine-4-carboxylic acid, H3dtpc) and Cd(OAc)2·2H2O gave rise to two complexes [Cd2(H2dtpc)2(H2O)6] (I) and [Cd(H2dtpc)(bpy)(H2O)]n (II) (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine). Complex (I) and (II) have been characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction, IR, PXRD, TGA and fluorescence spectra. Structural analyses reveal that (I) is a binuclear structure, and complex (II) possesses a one-dimensional infinite zig-zag chain architecture and the chains are further assembled into 2D supramolecular network by strong hydrogen bonding interactions. The structures of [Cu(en)(H2O)2]SO4 (I), [Cu(en)2](NO3)2 (II) and [Cu(trien)I]I (III) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. ComplexI is monoclinic, space group C2/c, with unit cell parametera=7.232(1),b=11.725(2),c=9.768(1), =105.50(1)°, andZ=4. ComplexII is also monoclinic, space group P21/a, witha=7.978(2),b=9.982(4),c=8.218(3), =111.11(2)°, andZ=2. ComplexIII is orthorhombic, space group P212121, witha=8.098(1),b=11.902(1),c=13.682(2), andZ=4. The structures were solved by direct methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares to finalR values of 0.031, 0.043 and 0.036 for complexesI, II, andIII, respectively. ComplexesI andII show an octahedral coordination geometry. ComplexIII shows a square pyramidal coordination geometry. ComplexI forms infinite monodimensional chains where the SO 4 2– ions acts as a bridge between two neighboringen molecules. The vibrational spectra of these complexes agree well with their crystal structures. Structure and stability of seven other related Cu(II) complexes of (trien), (dien)2, (en)2 and (en) are inferred in this study.  相似文献

Abstract  

The syntheses and structural characterizations of two novel 2-bromobenzoatozinc(II) complexes—[Zn(2-BrC6H4COO)2] n (I) and [Zn(2-BrC6H4COO)2(mnad)]2 (II), where mnad is N-methylnicotinamide are reported. Compound (I) crystallized with a monoclinic lattice (space group P21/c) and is polymeric in solid state. Its cell parameters are: a = 7.37220(10) Å, b = 19.9639(3) Å, c = 30.2756(5) Å, β = 94.7510(7)°, V = 4440.59(12) Å3, Z = 4. The coordination environments of all zinc atoms are distorted tetrahedra built from four carboxylate oxygen atoms coming from four 2-bromobenzoato ligands. Compound (II) crystallized with a monoclinic lattice (space group P21/c) with a = 11.7488(2) Å, b = 20.3683(3) Å, c = 9.30130(10) Å, β = 100.3941(11)°, V = 2189.30(5) Å3, Z = 2. This dimeric molecule features a paddle-wheel [Zn2O8] cage in solid state; the coordination environment of the central atom is square pyramidal consisting of four carboxylate oxygen atoms and the pyridine N atom of the mnad ligand.  相似文献

The structures of palladium(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) bis(chelates) of 1-methyl-3-(4-methyl)phenyltriazen-1-oxide have been determined by single-crystal X-ray methods. The crystals of [Pd(OMeN3C6H4Me-4)2] (I) are triclinic witha=7.410(3),b=7.806(3),c=8.371(2) Å, =65.80(2), =88.73(3), =81.04(3)°,Z=1, space group . The crystals of [Cu(OMeN3C6H4Me-4)2] (II) are monoclinic,a=14.934(5),b=10.111(4),c=11.762(3) Å, =96.00(2)°,Z=4, space group P21/c. The crystals of [Zn(OMeN3C6H4Me-4)2] (III) are triclinic witha=7.912(2),b=10.056(2),c=11.600(2) Å, =87.31(3), =74.96(3), =74.02(3)°,Z=2, space group . The structures of (I), (II), and (III) were solved to final values ofR=0.029, 0.043 and 0.034, respectively. A planar structure has been found for (I), (II) exhibits a tetrahedrally distorted square planar structure, whereas (III) is tetrahedral. The crystals of all three complexes are held by networks of stacking interactions.  相似文献

The substitution chemistry of the activated clusters Os3(CO)10(MeCN)2 (1) and Os3(CO)10(1,5-cod) (2) has been investigated with the bidentate ligand 1,2-bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane (dmpe). Both starting clusters react rapidly with dmpe at room temperature to give the corresponding substitution product Os3(CO)10(dmpe) (3), whose isomeric composition is shown to depend on the nature of the starting cluster. Whereas the bridged cluster 1,2-Os3(CO)10(dmpe) (3b) was formed almost exclusively upon reaction with Os3(CO)10(MeCN)2, a near statistical mixture of bridging (3b) and chelating (3c) isomers of Os3(CO)10(dmpe) was found in the reaction employing Os3(CO)10(1,5-cod). Both dmpe isomers have been characterized in solution by 3iP NMR spectroscopy and their solid-state structures established by X-ray crystallography. The bridged cluster 1,2-Os3(CO)10(dmpe) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n, a = 9.867(2) Å, b = 17.081(3) Å, c = 14.198(2) Å, β = 95.902(3)°, V = 2380.4(6) Å3, Z = 4, and d calc = 2.793 Mg/m3; R = 0.0435, R w = 0.0466 for 3519 reflections with I > 2σ(I). The chelated cluster 1,1-Os3(CO)10(dmpe) crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group C222(1), a = 8.329(3) Å, b = 19.028(6) Å, c = 15.008(5) Å, V = 2379(1) Å3, Z = 4, and d calc = 2.795 Mg/m3; R = 0.0390, R w = 0.0718 for 2360 reflections with I > 2σ(I).  相似文献

A new series of bis-triazenes, the 1-aryl-2-[3-(3-[2-aryl-1-diazenyl]-1,3-diazepan-1-ylmethyl)-1,3-diazepan-1-yl]-1-diazenes has been synthesized from the reaction of diazonium salts with a mixture of 1,4-diaminobutane and formaldehyde. The structures of 1-(p-bromophenyl)-2-[3-{3-[2-(p-bromophenyl)-1-diazenyl]-1,3-diazepan-1-ylmethyl}-1,3-diazepan-1-yl]-1-diazene(1), 1-(p-cyanophenyl)-2-[3-{3-[2-(p-cyanophenyl)-1-diazenyl]-1,3-di azepan-1-ylmethyl}-1,3-diazepan-1-yl]-1-diazene(2), and 1-(p-methoxyphenyl)-2-[3-{3-[2-(p-methoxy-phenyl)-1-diazenyl]-1,3-diazepan-1-ylmethyl}-1,3-diazepan-1-yl]-1 diazene(3) have been unequivocally determined by X-ray crystallography. The new bis-triazenes are important since the structure contains the novel saturated heterocycle, 1,3-diazepane. The general conclusion of this study is that alkanediamines with 3 or 4 carbon atoms in the spacer link between the nitrogen atoms give rise to the linear bicyclic molecules of type 5, in contrast to the case of ethylenediamine (spacer link 2 carbon atoms), which affords molecules of type 6, which exemplify the general cage structure of type 4. The crystal structures of 1, 2 and 3 are compared with the previously reported structure of the hexahydropyrimidine analogue 8a(X=CN); compounds 2 and 8a(X=CN) are homologous with respect to the alkane spacer moiety. Pentacarbonyl(trimethylamine)chromium (1) and pentacarbonyl(trimethylamine)molybdenum (2) are isomorphous and crystallize in the space group P21/n, a = 6.8267(14) ?, b = 11.269(2) ?, c = 14.692(3) ?, β = 102.89(3)°, V = 1,101.8(4) ?3, Z = 4 for 1 and a = 6.949(5) ?, b = 11.362(5) ?, c = 14.927(5) ?, β = 102.639(5)°, V = 1,150.0(10) ?3, Z = 4 for 2; both compounds possess distorted octahedral molecular geometries that result from the steric influence of the coordinated amine ligand.  相似文献
