The effect of core exchange on the potential of interaction between the 16O and 12C nuclei is considered. The amplitudes corresponding to nonlocal exchange interactions are calculated in the Born approximation. It is shown that the inclusion of exchange processes leads to the growth of the elasticscattering amplitude in in the region of large scattering angles. The dependence of amplitudes on the parity of relative motion is analyzed.  相似文献

The elastic scattering of12C+12C and16O+16O has been studied in the framework of an incoming wave boundary condition model. Different logarithmic derivatives for the incoming waves have been tested and their effects investigated with the help of Fourier analyses. It is shown that a logarithmic derivative obtained from a JWKB approximation leads to strong absorption of the low partial waves while a logarithmic derivative constant for all partial waves causes reflections. These reflections are necessary to describe the high energy elastic scattering of12C+12C. The fits thus obtained with shallow real potentials are comparable to those obtained with deep folding potentials. It is shown that not the lowest partial waves, but those within a window just below the grazing angular momentum are most important for the higher energy12C+12C angular distributions.  相似文献

The data on the ϑc.m.=180° excitation functions of12C+24Mg,12C* (4.43 MeV)+24Mg and12C+24Mg*(1.36 MeV) from 12.27 to 22.80 MeV, 16.53 to 27.47 MeV, and 11.33 to 26.40 MeV(c.m.) respectively have been subjected to statistical analysis. The effect of averaging interval, employed for data reduction, on the coherence widths as obtained from the autocorrelation function has been studied. The fluctuating features of the cross-sections turn out to be consistent with the statistical model expectations.  相似文献

Angular distributions of elastic and inelastic scattering have been measured for152Sm+12C at 63.2 MeV and148Nd+16O at 90.9 MeV. An evident interference pattern in the inelastic scattering has been observed for the first time in a strong Coulomb coupling system.We are indebted to Dr. S. Pieper for supplying the Ptolemy Program. The observation of refractive effects in 16O+16O and 16O+12C elastic scattering data has definitively established the fact that the optical potential for some light heavy-ion systems is relatively transparent and that its real part is deep. Most of the interpretations of the rainbow features of these data rely on the so-called nearside-farside decomposition of the scattering amplitude. Starting from recent optical model analyses of 16O+16O and 16O+12C elastic scattering around 100 MeV incident energy as an example, we present an alternative interpretation based on the barrier-wave/internal-wave decomposition first proposed by Brink and Takigawa. This method, which complements the nearside-farside approach, demonstrates clearly the exceptional transparency of the 16O+16O, and to a lesser extent 16O+12C, interactions at the investigated energies and makes possible the extraction of the two contributions whose interference explains the Airy oscillations seen in the farside amplitude.  相似文献

The spin alignment Pzz of12C(2 1 + ) produced in12C+12C inelastic scattering at bombarding energies in the region of known resonances between Ecm=18.5 and 32.8 MeV has been determined with a γ-ray detector positioned in the direction of the scattering normal. The values obtained in the centers of three resonances as well as those obtained off-resonance are spread over a range between ?.05 and +.80 with no clear indication in favour of simple pictures of molecular resonances.  相似文献

The gross structures in the excitation functions for elastic scattering of 28Si+16O and 28Si+ 12C, measured at 90°, where only even partial waves contribute, are found to be anti-correlated with those at 180°. Excitation functions at both angles, including the enhanced gross structure at 180°, can be reproduced by calculations using a potential which attracts odd partial waves more than even partial waves.  相似文献

Analyzing powers and cross sections for elastic and inelastic scattering of 20, 30 and 40MeV polarized protons from12C and16O have been analyzed in the coupled-channels collective model using the full Thomas deformed spin-orbit term. Excitation functions for12C+12C elastic and inelastic scattering to 2+ level have been measured over the energy range 30–60 MeV (cm) by 250 keV steps using the kinematical coincidence method. The intermediate structure resonances disappear aboveE cm=35 MeV while the broad and irregular structure becomes a general feature of the interaction at higher energies.  相似文献

Taking 16O+16O elastic scattering at 124 MeV as an example, we show that a barrier-wave-internal-wave decomposition of the elastic scattering amplitude provides valuable information on the light heavy-ion interaction and complements the more conventional nearside-farside decomposition. In particular, we show that the Airy minima present in the angular distributions are due to a barrier-wave-internal-wave interference mechanism, which sheds additional light on the exceptional transparency displayed by some light heavy-ion scattering systems. Extension of these ideas to other fields, like atomic and molecular collision physics, could prove rewarding.  相似文献

The spin alignment of the 3 state (6.13 MeV) of 16O from inelastic scattering of 12C+16O has been measured in the energy region of known resonances around Ecm=20 MeV. The result, that the population of the m=±3 magnetic substates is enhanced on four resonances at 19.7, 20.5, 22.0 and 22.6 MeV, indicates the dominance of the aligned configuration on these resonances.  相似文献

The spin alignment of the12C2 + state in inelastic scattering of12c on64zn at EL=65 MeV has been measured using the γ-recoil-in-flight method. Good agreement with coupled channel calculations are obtained. The sensitivity of the spin alignment to reaction models is discussed.  相似文献
