The preparation of the compounds Sr2CrO4, Ba2CrO4, and Ba3CrO5 is described. The characterization of these three Cr4+ compounds by X-ray and magnetic susceptibility experiments has been conducted. The magnetic moments for Sr2CrO4, Ba2CrO4, and Ba3CrO5 were determined to be in good agreement with the calculated value expected for a tetrahedral Cr4+ ion. Weak antiferromagnetic ordering for all three compounds is indicated from the small paramagnetic Weiss constants determined from the susceptibility data in the temperature region 80–300 K. Distortions of the tetrahedra from ideality, as determined from the structural features, further cause a reduction in the magnetic moments from the theoretical values.  相似文献

The orthorhombic fluorite-related superstructure phase Y3TaO7 is non-stoichiometric; the Y2O3 content may be varied from 75.0 to about 72.5 mole% without incurring structural changes. For overall Y2O3 contents from 72.0 to 70.5 mole%, the crystal symmetry changes from C2221 to Cmmm, and the c axis becomes halved. The structure of the low-Y2O3 material has been determined from powder X-ray diffraction intensities supplemented by single crystal electron-optical data. The relationship of this structure to that of stoichiometric Y3TaO7 is discussed.  相似文献

The D2 loss from C2D+6 ions and the HD loss from C2D5H+ ions has been investigated in a photoelectron photoion coincidence experiment employing a reflecting ion time of a flight mass spectrometer (Reflectron). The experiment is able to distinguish the metastable formation of C2D+4 ions (m/z = 32) from C2D+6 ions by D2 loss and from C2D5H+ ions by HD loss simultaneously in a mixture of deuterated ethanes. The breakdown curves of the title reactions are presented and compared to the H2 loss from C2H+6 ions. The HD loss from C2D5H+ is shifted by 67 meV and the D2 loss from C2D+6 is shifted by 108 meV with respect to the H2 loss from C2H+6. This shift reflects a strong kinetic isotope effect which is most likely due to tunneling of H/D atoms through a barrier.  相似文献

The extraction of Eu with Amberlite LA-2, TBP and HDEHP from HF, HCl, HBr, H2SO4, CH3 COOH and KI solutions was investigated. The extraction of Eu with TBP and LA-2 is small over a wide range of concentrations. The extraction of Eu with HDEHP from HCl, HBr, and H2SO4 is inversely proportional to the third power of the acid concentration, while the extraction from KI is proportional to the square of the extractant concentration. The extraction by the three extractants from H2SO4 in presence of small amounts of hydrogen halides is small. These extraction data can be used to separate Eu from Th and many of the fission products. The presence of water-miscible alcohols and acetone generally increases the extraction of Eu from H2SO4 and KI solutions.  相似文献

New methods have been adopted for the anodic deposition of the different manganese and cobalt oxides. The deposition of the diferent oxides is usually carried out from their metal salt solutions in presence of a reducing agent. The oxides deposited are as follows: Mn2O3 from manganous sulphate in presence of boric, acid and formaldehyde at pH=5.5, Mn3O4 from manganous sulphate in presence of formic acid at pH=5.0 MnO from manganous sulphate-ammonium chloride solution in presence of telluric acid, Co2O3 from cobalt chloride in presence of telluric acid and sodium fluoride, Co3O4 from cobaltite in presence of formaldehyde and potassium chloride and finally CoO from cobalt chloride in presence of alcohol. The results of chemical analysis revealed that the purity of the oxides is 99.99% and their molecular formulae are MnO1.5, MnO1.33, MnO, CoO1.5, CoO1.33 and CoO respectively.  相似文献

The mechanism for production of electronically excited photofragments from the title molecules is investigated using two excimer lasers in a pump-probe experiment. We find for NH(A) from NH3, N2H4 and CH3NH2; OH(A) from HNO3 and CN(B) and CH(A, B) from CH3NH2 that secondary excitation of primary photofragments is involved.  相似文献

The electron donating properties of manganese ferrospinels of various compositions (MnFe2O4, Mn1.2Fe1.8O4, Mn2FeO4 and Mn2.5Fe0.5O4) were studied from the adsorption of electron acceptors of various electron affinity values from acetonitrile as solvent. The limit of electron transfer from the oxide surface is from 1.77 to 2.40 eV in terms of the electron affinity of the electron acceptor. The data have been correlated with the catalytic activity of these oxides towards autoxidation of sulfites. Both weak and strong electron donor sites catalyze the reaction.  相似文献

The phase transitions of Ba2-xSrxIn2O5 were investigated with various thermal analyses and high-temperature X-ray diffraction. It was clarified that crystal structure of Ba2-xSrxIn2O5 with x=0.0~0.4 varies from brownmillerite through distorted perovskite to another distorted perovskite with increase of temperature. The phase transition from brownmillerite to distorted perovskite was revealed to be first order, whereas transition from distorted perovskite to another one was second order. The specimen with x≥0.5 showed only one first order phase transition from brownmillerite to distorted perovskite. The phase diagram of Ba2-xSrxIn2O5 was established and existence of tricritical point at ~1100°C with x=0.4~0.5 was suggested. The potassium salts of two new hepta coordinated oxyfluoro anions of tungsten (VI) are reported in this paper. The monomer, K3WO2F5 was obtained from the aqueous solution while the dimer, K6W2O5F8 was isolated from alcohol. The absorption peak of K6W2O5F8 at 830 cm-1 has been attributed to W-O-W link. The W-O-W angle is found to be 155° and the force constant is 4.44 mdyn/A°. The d values obtained from x-ray powder diffraction studies are given.  相似文献

The rate of the reaction between D2O and the calcium aluminum oxides Ca3Al2O6, Ca5Al6O14, CaAl2O4, and CaAl4O7 was investigated by on-line neutron diffraction powder methods at temperatures from room temperature to 100°C. The rate of the reaction increases with increasing calcium content of the compounds and with increasing temperature for each of the compounds. The crystallographic stable hydrate Ca3Al2(OD)12 is obtained from CaAl4O7 and CaAl2O4 at temperatures above 63°C, from Ca5Al6O14 at temperatures above 49°C, and from Ca3Al2O6 at temperatures as low as 7°C.  相似文献

The syntheses and structures of two new compounds are reported. The first compound, [Cr(CO)4]2[C4F2(PPh2)4], obtained from Cr(CO)4(PPh2H)2 and CF3CCF3 in the presence of one equivalent of BuLi has a structure with the ligand 1,2,3,4-tetrakis(diphenylphosphino)-1,4-difluorobutadiene chelating to two Cr(CO)4 groups via the 1,4 and 2,3 phosphine groups. A mechanism for the formation of this compound is suggested which involves sequential deprotonation of a phosphine, nucleophilic attack on the fluorocarbon, and fluoride ion elimination. The second compound, CrC36H28P2O7, arises from a similar base promoted reaction of Cr(CO)4-(PPhH2)2 and PhCCCOOEt. Here the expected initial product from cyclization of these reactants acts as a nucleophile to attack a second equivalent of the acetylene. The intermediate carbanion from this reaction can undergo a ring closure by displacement of OEt-, giving the observed product.  相似文献

In this work, dehydration of sodium diphosphate decahydrate Na4P2O7⋅10H2O and phase transformations of Na4P2O7 in open air have been studied in detail by thermo-Raman spectroscopy. The spectra were measured continuously in a temperature range from room temperature up to 600°C for the bands of P2O7 4- and H2O. The spectral variation showed one step of dehydration and four-phase transformations. The thermo-Raman intensity(TRI) and differential thermo-Raman intensity (DTRI) curves calculated from the characteristic bands of H2O also showed one step of dehydration with the loss of all hydrated water in the temperature interval from 45 to 69°C. Thermogravimetric measurements supported this result. The thermo-Raman investigation indicated the transformation of Na4P2O7 from low temperature phase to high temperature phase proceed through pre-transitional region from 75 to 410°C before the major orientational disorder at 418°C and minor structural modifications at 511,540 and 560°C. The results from differential scanning calorimetry and differential thermal analysis on Na4P2O7 showed endotherms at 407,517, 523, 548, 557°C and 426, 528, 534, 555, 565°C, respectively. Pure component selectivity analysis (PCSA) was successfully utilized to enhance the robustness of a partial least squares (PLS) model by examining the selectivity of a given component to other components. The samples used in this study were composed of NH4OH, H2O2 and H2O, a popular etchant solution in the electronic industry. Corresponding near-infrared (NIR) spectra (9000-7500 cm−1) were used to build PLS models. The selective determination of H2O2 without influences from NH4OH and H2O was a key issue since its molecular structure is similar to that of H2O and NH4OH also has a hydroxyl functional group. The best spectral ranges for the determination of NH4OH and H2O2 were found with the use of moving window PLS (MW-PLS) and corresponding selectivity was examined by pure component selectivity analysis. The PLS calibration for NH4OH was free from interferences from the other components due to the presence of its unique NH absorption bands. Since the spectral variation from H2O2 was broadly overlapping and much less distinct than that from NH4OH, the selectivity and prediction performance for the H2O2 calibration were sensitively varied depending on the spectral ranges and number of factors used. PCSA, based on the comparison between regression vectors from PLS and the net analyte signal (NAS), was an effective method to prevent over-fitting of the H2O2 calibration. A robust H2O2 calibration model with minimal interferences from other components was developed. PCSA should be included as a standard method in PLS calibrations where prediction error only is the usual measure of performance.  相似文献

The microencapsulation technology was brought in to solidify corrosion inhibitor in order to prolong the releasing time of it. In this work, thiourea (H2NCSNH2) was used as a corrosion inhibitor and microcapsuled using glutin and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), respectively, as protective agent. The re-sealing process was used as a way to prolong the releasing time of the H2NCSNH2 encapsulated in microcapsules. It was found that the H2NCSNH2 microcapsule corrosion inhibitor using PVA as a protective agent had a better releasing time. The releasing times of the H2NCSNH2 microcapsule corrosion inhibitors were prolonged from 18 to 48 h by re-sealing process and using PVA as a protective agent. Both the use of PVA as a protective agent and the application of the re-sealing process decreased the encapsulation efficiency of the H2NCSNH2. The performance parameters on protecting Q235 carbon steel from corrosion in 0.1-M H2SO4 solution were evaluated by polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectra methods. The results showed that the H2NCSNH2 released into the solution from microcapsules could well protect Q235 carbon steel from corrosion and the corrosion-inhibiting mechanisms of it were the same as that of H2NCSNH2.  相似文献

The isotope content in water obtained from irradiated CO-H2 mixture with added small amounts of NH3 or their deuterated equivalents was compared. Compared with that in water obtained from CO-D2 mixture with added NH3, D content in water produced from the mixture with the substitution of ND3 for NH3 was increased remarkably. The complex [Pt(9S3)(SbPh3)(Ph)](PF6) forms directly from [Pt(9S3)(SbPh3)2](PF6)2 during the room temperature crystallization of the latter in nitromethane. The crystal structure shows a five-coordinate Pt(II) center containing the tridentate thiacrown ligand, a Sb donor from the triphenylstibine ligand, and a σ-coordinating phenyl group. The phenyl group forms via Sb-C bond cleavage from one of the SbPh3 ligands in the bis complex.  相似文献

The in situ open‐circuit voltages (Voc) and the in situ photoconductivities have been measured to study electron behavior in photocatalysis and its effect on the photocatalytic oxidation of methanol. It was observed that electron injection to the conduction band (CB) of TiO2 under light illumination during photocatalysis includes two sources: from the valence band (VB) of TiO2 and from the methanol molecule. The electron injection from methanol to TiO2 is slower than that directly from the VB, which indicates that the adsorption mode of methanol on the TiO2 surface can change between dark and illuminated states. The electron injection from methanol to the CB of TiO2 leads to the upshift of the Fermi level of electrons in TiO2, which is the thermodynamic driving force of photocatalytic oxidation. It was also found that the charge state of nano‐TiO2 is continuously changing during photocatalysis as electrons are injected from methanol to TiO2. Combined with the apparent Langmuir–Hinshelwood kinetic model, the relation between photocatalytic kinetics and electrons in the TiO2 CB was developed and verified experimentally. The photocatalytic rate constant is the variation of the Fermi level with time, based on which a new method was developed to calculate the photocatalytic kinetic rate constant by monitoring the change of Voc with time during photocatalysis.  相似文献

In order to determine whether accurate rotational diffusion coefficients in liquids may be determined from the bandshapes of isotopically broadened vibrational peaks, we have investigated the isotropic and anisotropic Raman spectra of the ν3(A1), CCl3 symmetric bending, vibration in CHCl3 as a function of temperature in the liquid phase. The spectral lineshapes were fitted by a model containing four Lorentzian/Gaussian summation bands with relative peak intensities equal to the relative abundances of the four isotopic combinations and frequency displacements constrained to values measured in the matrix infrared spectrum. The calculated room temperature perpendicular diffusion coefficient, D (25°C) = 8.31010 s−1, was within the range of values reported from Raman measurements on the ν1, symmetric carbon-hydrogen stretching, vibration, but was somewhat lower than published results from NMR relaxation time measurements, T1(2D), on CDCl3, and from dielectric relaxation. The activation energy, Ea(D), determined from the ν3 bandshape measurements was 30% higher than the average value from the NMR and dielectric studies. The deviation is believed to result from the sensitivity of this quantity to the fractional Lorentzian character of the fitting functions.  相似文献

The determination of Al2O3, in bulk coal samples to an accuracy of about 0.2% Al2O3 has been achieved by means of a thermal-neutron activation technique based on the reaction 27Al(n,γ)28Al. In the analysed samples, which had widely different compositions, the Al2O3 concentrations ranged from 1 to 11% and the ash contents from 7 to 40%. Al2O3 concentrations measured by x-ray fluorescence showed a linear relationship with both the 1.78-MeV γ-ray count following the decay of 28Al and the thermal-neutron count near the samples during irradiation. The linear relationship, which was obtained by regression analysis of the experimental data, determined the Al2O3concentrations with a standard deviation of 0.24% Al2O3. The particle sizes in the samples ranged from —0.5 to —40 mm, the moisture contents ranged from 1 to 6%, and the sample weights ranged from 8 to 11 kg. However, inclusion of these parameters in the regression analysis did not significantly improve the results for Al2O3.  相似文献
